Godzilla wandered into the city, curious. It was full of sweet smells, noisy humans and intricate buildings. Godzilla snarled and moved forward, plowing through a small restaurant and crushing everything below with falling debris. Godzilla raised his head and roared, sensing an approaching foe.

The mighty Thor landed a few blocks away from his enemy. Intelligence had told him that this was Godzilla, or rather, one of the many Godzillas. They were true forces to be reckoned with.
"Enemy on approach." Thor said aloud through his mechanical voice. "Ready for battle. Bring it."
Thor assumed a battle stance, his Mjolnir hammer surging with energy.

Godzilla's switchblade spines rose with an abrupt "Shhhhnnnnk!", crackling with energy. Godzilla narrowed his eyes, glaring at Thor through invisible pupils. This monstrous assembly of manufactured parts was clearly no organic being... it was born of metal and stupidity. This was the work of humans... disgusting.
Godzilla charged up his infamous breath weapon, his fins glowing with radiation. Godzilla's toothy maw opened wide as the torrent of destruction launched out, a glowing column of energy, flashing through the sky and slamming into Thor's chest like a battering ram.

Thor took the hit. The blast was strong, but it would only be a warm up for Thor.
"Opponent has ranged attack. Optimal Danger Level: High. Ready to engage."
Thor activated boosters. The sun's solar energy fed into the Idun generator and the photon energy surged through Mjolnir. Thor shot straight at Godzilla. Roughly a block away, Thor cut his boosters and slid along the pavement. He swung the energized Mjolnir at Godzilla.

(Yeah, waiting is fine as far as I know. Sorry about that, went on a trip for two days.)
Godzilla shrieked and ducked down, the momentum driven hammer zooming over his head with a gust of wind. Godzilla spun around as his foe skidded to a halt. It seemed that the humans weren't toying around this time. This machine might actually pose a serious threat. Interesting.
Godzilla charged, rushing Thor and then leaping into the air. Godzilla landed on Thor's chest with a thunderous clash, knocking the mech to the ground, denting it's frontal hull with his weight. Godzilla's jaws opened wide and suddenly thrust forward, racing towards Thor's face...

(OOC: Glad you told me about that DH.  ) But Thor was was faster. He thrust Mjolnir into Godzilla's mouth. The great beast struggled to bite through Mjolnir but the hammer proved tougher. Thor quickly thrust the hammer upward and tossed Godzilla away. Thor rose himself to his feet. He clasped Mjolnir with both hands. Slowly, the hammer began to glow and then began to spark. From the base of the hammer's head, at least a dozen bolts of photon energy lightning shot forth at Godzilla. |

Godzilla ducked down as the arcs of lightning streaked through the air. One of the bolts reached him before he could get out of the way, striking Godzilla's head in a shower of sparks. The monster king reeled back, electricity crackling through his body. He had only taken a fraction of the blast, but it was a potent attack. He'd make sure to avoid it in the future.
Godzilla circled the giant robot, eyeing it warily. All that metal was surely heavy... a strong blow to the knee joints might bring it down. Godzilla rushed forward, slammed his feet down and did a 360 degree spin as he skidded to a halt, and slammed his tail and all it's kinetic force into Thor's right knee...

The tail hit, but Thor activated his jet boosters and jumped upwards. Still, the tail sent a shower of sparks as reptilian bone crashed against metal. As Thor jumped backwards, Mjolnir once again surged with energy. Thor started his descent back to the street, but fired off a volley of photon energy blasts from Mjolnir's top.

Godzilla bellowed, taking the photon blasts in the chest with a defiant shine in his eyes. Residual energy particles danced in the air around the impact, but Godzilla was unmoving. The photon blasts were no match for his saurian hide.
Godzilla surged forward like a locomotive, plowing into the mech with his bulk. Sparks flew and the robot fell backwards, Godzilla narrowly avoiding going down with his foe by digging his claws into the ground.

Thor skidded along the ground. As he ceased moving, his A.I. made a mental note.
"Adversary possibly highly dangerous at close-range. Utilizes charging. Be aware."
Thor rose to his feet and activated his boosters. He flew up high, his solar generator gathering energy. Then, he zoomed in fast, like a lightning bolt. In no time, he reached Godzilla, and as he passed him, he swung his hammer at his enemy's skull.

Godzilla screeched as the hammer met his cranium, throwing him down to the ground hard. Head pounding and ears ringing, Godzilla snarled and rose to his feet. He charged his beam, dorsal fins glowing radioactive blue. Godzilla exhaled a stream of thermonuclear breath, striking the airborne mech with a bright flash of sparks and nuclear energy.
