Godzilla's jaws clamped shut on the marauding hammer as it struck him, some teeth flying out of his mouth with splashed of blood, others sinking into the hammer and piercing it's metallic form. Combining the force of the hammer's thrust with the backwards pull of his own jaws and neck muscles, Godzilla hurled the hammer out of Thor's hand's with colossal force. Trailing blood and dying photon energy, Mjolnir was ripped out of it's owner's hand so fast that the cable didn't have time to disconnect. The cable stretched and ripped apart in a flash of wasted electric power as Mjolnir fired away.
Godzilla stood, shaking. Blood trickled down from his mouth and dripped from his jaw, his pupiless eyes were wide with an unstoppable will to fight and live. Godzilla eyed Thor, glancing the robot over with defiance and hate. Godzilla swung his paw down with mountainous force, striking Thor in the neck and throwing him down to the ground. Godzilla snarled and licked the blood from his lips, awaiting his enemy's next move, and the oppurtunity to counter it.

Thor countered. Even without Mjolnir, he was still deadly. he shoved his iron foot right into Godzilla's stomach. After that, he swung his leg out and brought Godzilla down from his legs. He caught the giant reptile by the head. Working his way over him, but not on him, he repeatedly smashed Godzilla's head into the ground. Simultaneously, he placed his right palm only a short distance from Godzilla's right arm, where the shoulder meets the arm itself. he fired off a blast of photon energy from it, directly into Godzilla's arm.

Godzilla took the hit with a loud roar and pushed off Thor, rolling across the ground and then jumping to his feet. Godzilla blitzed again, lowering his head and slamming into Thor, throwing him through the air and up against a large cathedral. Godzilla rushed his foe as he stood slumped against the side of the building. This robot needed to be taught a lesson- and Godzilla had just the right move in mind. Godzilla lept into the air, slamed his tail down, hitting the ground with it and leaning back, thrusting both legs outward. The signature move of one of fallen foes... the kangaroo kick. Godzilla's taloned feet struck Thor's chest with explosive force, shoving him through the side of the cathedral. The dust from pulverized bricks and ancient stained glass windows puffed up into the air as the giant robot crashed through the structure, the remaining walls collapsing and landing on his iron hide. Godzilla tilted back his head and roared, then exhaled a stream of blue flame, engulfing the mass wreckage with his breath.

What with his jubilant stage of knocking his foe down, Godzilla undoubtedly did not notice the imminent and incoming attack. From nowhere, the hammer of the gods struck. Mjolnir came flying out from the distance and struck the back of Godzilla's head. It effectively knocked the creature down and probably gave him one hell of a head ache.
And then, from the rubble, a hand emerged and caught Mjolnir's handle. Thor rose from the smoke like a phoenix from ashes. He stood over Godzilla like the god he had been named after. Mjolnir glowed with photon energy, and bolts of energy rained down onto Godzilla's back.

Bolts mixed with bolts as Godzilla's spines charged with energy. Godzilla released a quick, shotgun blast of breath, shoving Thor away with a shower of sparks. Godzilla lifted himself up, shook his head, and glared up at his foe. So far Thor had taken the damage from Godzilla's breath well, but a powerful enough blast might still cause massive damage. Godzilla's spines glew brighter and brighter, seething with energy like dancing flames. The air around him began to blur and warp from the intense heat as Godzilla charged up his beam like never before...

Thor quickly pndered that he wouldn't be able to dodge the beam no matter where he went. Siphoning off some photon energy into his reserves, Thor pointed Mjolnir at Godzilla. The hammer quickly charged with another beam. The beam wouldn't be as strong as the last, but it would do. If Thor timed this right, then the two beams would connect with one another.
"May the Gods be at my back..."

Mjolnir's beam shot through the air, the sound of the blast drowned out by the thunderous release of Godzilla's. His beam shot through the sky like a column of lightning. It met the opposing beam with a vibrant explosion of light and showering sparks, the impact of the two blasts sending out an invisible shockwave that shook the ground and shattered every surviving window for miles. Godzilla's fins blazed as he continued the beam, the two energy attacks locked in a pushing battle for dominance.

Thor held, but the might of Godzilla's beam was proving too much. Thor's photon energy was just about out. Quickly activating his boosters, Thor cut the beam and flew off to his right. By now, a massive amount of rubble, dust, and smoke had filled the area.
Thor was nowhere to be seen.

Godzilla snarled, turning around and around, searching for his foe in the clouds of destruction. No doubt he was nearby, hiding somewhere, ready to launch an ambush assault. With the air full of dust and debris it would be difficult to detect Thor's scent, especially considering how much of the city was metal as well. The robot was nowhere to be seen either, and atleast at the moment he made no sounds to give away his location. But he was nearby- Godzilla knew that much. And that was enough. Godzilla's fins, still glowing wildly, flashed intensely. Godzilla lowered his head and brought his arms to his chest, curling up somewhat. His eyes closed as the energy on his fins grew more and more intense. The air around him took a sudden and noticable change, feeling like the low pressure before a storm hits. There was a sudden flash of light, energy coursing through Godzilla's body from his fins to his inner core. It happened so fast it was almost impossible to pinpoint. Then the release. Blinding white energy, the power of the atom bomb unleashed, expanded from Godzilla in every direction like an ever-growing bubble. The sphere of obliteration flushed outwards, consuming the entire city. Buildings shattered in great clouds of flame, their rubble cast away by radioactive fury so fast that they didn't even have time to begin falling. Every tree, every human, every living thing caught in Godzilla's nuclear wrath was incinerated instantly. The blinding white flash faded, revealing the sheer devastation of the attack. Paris, France was no more- the earth was leveled flat, save for the occasional pile of char-broiled debris. Small, blue-tinted fires burned intensely on what little organic matter remained. With all the city burned down to dust, the heaving figure of Godzilla was the tallest thing in the ruined cityscape. The Godzilla lifted his head slowly and watched as the smoking form of Thor plummeted from somewhere in the sky and crashed in the near distance, throwing a thin cloud of ash up into the air. Godzilla breathed deep, tilted back his head, and roared loudly. The monstrous bellow echoed through the empty city, daring Thor to try and defy the King of the Monsters again.

Thor rose, amazingly from the massive attack. His joints shook and his amazingly managed to stand on both legs. All around him, there was nothing but near vaporized wreckage. he would make a comment, but his voice box was broken. But the nuclear blast had not been completely damaging. Amazingly, Thor had absorbed some of the blasts intense bright flash into his generators. He still had a little fight in him!
On the flip side, Mjolnir was utterly useless. With all its energy depleted and the power cords ripped, Thor discarded the hammer onto the ground. He would pick it up, if he survived.
Some distance away, Godzilla stood. Thor looked on at him. No doubt the creature was tired. Scanning showed the creature had suffered from that last attack Hopefuly, Thor could take it down, once and for all.

Whoa, baby. Now that was a pretty damn even fight. At the beginning, I was leaning towards Thor, due to the sheer amount of whoop-ass that hammer was putting up. I mean, you’re pounding flesh and blood with a friggin’ sledgehammer on steroids, that is going to cause a lot of damage whether you like or not. But hell, Goji came back at the end, pretty much pounding the crap outta the mech, too...ugh…if no one objects, I’m calling a tie. You guys just smoothed out the damage and divided it evenly between both of you...good match, folks, and let’s hope to see more monument destruction in the future...

The wind blew, carrying ash and embers with it. The two combatants stood opposite each other, each haggard and battle worn. Godzilla stared into the black abyss that was his enemy's face and snorted. Though it pained him to accept it, the humans had finally devised something powerful. The two were evenly matched, and at the rate they were going, continuing the fight would probably result in the two destroying each other. Hesitantly, Godzilla decided to back off. Godzilla snarled, the energy on his fins slowly fading away. The fight was over. For now...

Thor watched Godzilla depart. His mission was completed, if not a total success. Paris was in ruins and Godzilla was still alive, albeit defeated. Thor himself turned away from the ruined city. With it being dark and Idun extremely low on energy, Thor was going to be walking home.
He would finish his fight with Godzilla. Even if it meant to the death.
