San Fransisco was filled with a strange noise...
As the sun shone over the brilliant city, evil was stirring... the streets were suddenly filled with panic as a number of horrendous black insects burst from the sewers, making odd grinding noises before slaughtering those near them. The Black Death were soon sweeping across the city like a plague, slaying all in their path. Half the city's populace was dead, before the Black Death finally detected something coming... The Death had encountered giant creatures like this before, they knew what to do...
Quivkly, the swarm gathered into one, single, grinding, writhing mass. The insects latched onto each other before finally forming a massive, rounded, towering mass. Mortis, the living Death, had formed...

The waters of the bay neither rippled nor bubbled as the oceanic dragon swan beneath the surface at improbably high speeds. Her hydrokinesis proppelled her along without betraying her prescense. As it stood, she was en route to intercept a creature threatening the nearby human city. Where her goal had once been the extermination of the mighty Ghidorah bioweapons, that goal had changed to the protection of this world, where her makers had made their last stand to defeat the age-old nemesis.
Suddenly, she erupted from the waters, taking wing before perching atop a mighty skyscraper, her serpentine form coiling around it easily as she roared a challenge. Cerulean had come for this beast, and it would not leave this place intact.

*Facepalm*
A two-hundred foot, ravenous Hyper storms in and dances around San Francisco yelling something random at the sky about those two cheap food misers in this match, before boxing Mortis's and Cerulean's ears and dancing back away to disappear in the ocean.
Now go up and find where I head the "ready...fight" trigger in that ginormous wall of text. xD

...ok.
I'll go first then, shall I?
Mortis spots Cerulean in the distance and releases a firece grinding sound. As Cerulean looks over, Mortis continues the sound while it escalates into a high-pitched shriek. Mortis' entire body turns bright white, just before the light gathers together, and releases in a condensed sonic beam. The white beam crashes into Cerulean's chest, causing her to scream in pain as she is knocked back into the water. Mortis then seems to break down slightly, before entering his flying form. The curtain of black flies higher uphill, before reaching the Transamarica building. Mortis completelty covers the structure, now completely black and alive with movement. Mortis then skips his next action, waiting to see what Cerulean does now that he is a safe distance from the water.

Cerulean massaged her wounded chest as she watched Mortis flee the area. A cowardly attack. Perhaps he thought to keep her at bay with distance. But this city was hers. She could use her powers freely to destroy Mortis. But first, a test.
A chilling aura enveloped her as a glowing sphere formed in her throat. She craned her head back before snapping it forward, unleashing a stream of freezing energy at the living death. Mortis roared as his body was encapsulated in ice, freezing him, in part, to the sides of the building on which he now rested.
Cerulean smirked as she concentrated, causing the city streets beneath her to vibrate. Suddenly, pipes and sewage systems burst open, spraying water in geysers from every hydrant, manhole cover and sewer grate. She gathered this veritable storm into collected shards, each made of super-compacted ice as hard as diamonds.
Mortis could flee, if he felt like leaving chunks of his body frozen to the building on which he was now anchored, or he could take the hit. It was time to determine what kind of monster he truly was, as she used her hydrokinesis to sling the ice shards at Mortis...

But the dragon had miscalculated...Mortis was not burdened by a full body like she thought... each of the Black Death seperately drilled it's long probuscus through the ice, weakening it before ecaping; cold was bad for them, indeed. But not as bad as it could have been. They were used to the cold.
The tiny creatures escaped, then split up widly as the flew, so that only a few who were unlucky got hit by the spikes. Then, the swarm gathered together again, reforming Mortis. Quickly, Mortis entered a spherical form, then began rolling downhill before crashing into Cerulean, engulfing her as they smashed into the coastline. Cerulean was totally covered from head to tail with vicious, hostile insects, each one hell-bent on either injecting her with dangerous bacteria, or sucking liquified flesh from her body. After they had done some damage, the swarm flew upward, abandoning the weakened dragon momentarily, Before re-forming in midair, and preparing to crash down with a great weight on Cerulean, crushing her badly, then engulf her again.

And so it came to pass that Mortis walked right into her trap. Cerulean bellowed in triumph as a wall of water rose to engulf Mortis' form, drowning individual components with ease and halting his attack. The black death gurgled and writhed inside it's watery prison, unable to escape its confines.
Finally, Cerulean relented, dropping the drowned corpse of the monster on the shoreline. Yet still, Mortis lived. To end its threat once and for all, Cerulean raised the water level again, sending a veritable tsunami thundering towards Mortis, hoping to wash him out to sea for good. Meanwhile, she would watch, and wait, from the air...

Suddenlly, from the water, there was a horrible sound. The sea flashed white before a sound like the screams of thousands of demons roared in the sky. Cerulean howled in terror and pain, losing control of her flight pattern, before crashing face-first into a row of apartments that came down in rubble around the sea dragon. As Cerulean lied, barely moving, half covered in wreckage, Mortis crawled from the water of the now half-flooded city. The living Death reformed into a tower of evil, before walking over and gazing down at the battered dragon. The Black Death's red eyes flashed brightly, so that for a moment, Mortis' whole form was covered in tiny, red dots, light demented christmas lights, making the mobile nest look all the more terrifying. Mortis reached forward with one arm. As Cerulean started to come to, all of the Death on Mortis' arm began to turn in a common direction, pointing their stingers out. Mortis raised the newly formed weapon, ready to stab it into Cerulean's neck, and inject trillions of hostile bacteria.

Mortis' appendage was mere feet away from Cerulean's hide, when it suddenly collided with a barrier of solid ice, which deflected the lethal infection.
Cerulean had underestimated contact with her foe once. She would not do so again. If Mortis wanted physcal contact, she would give it, as she reached out and grasped his body. The mass of writhing insects squirmed in her taloned hands as she concentrated. Suddenly, the entire body of the black death was screaming in agony as she began boiling the blood, killing it piece by wretched piece.
Cerulean dropped a steaming Mortis to the ground, watching as the dead pieces dropped off bit by bit, before she used her hydrokinesis to lift the still wet Mortis off the ground and sling him at a nearby row of structures...

Mortis cashed full-on into the buildings, and they crashed down around his body. Then, there was a nawful grinding sound as he rose from the wreckage, virtually unharmed. Had he a complete body, that may have harmed him more. Suddenly, without warning, a long tendril of insects lashed out from his black body, and wrapped around Cerulean's neck. Without the slightest hesitation, Mortis pulled Cerulean in, then wrapped around her whole body. The engulfed dragon screamed as the Black Death attacked with their long, black probusci, liquefying and draining parts of her flesh. Mortis released Cerulean onto the street in front of him, her once beautiful scales now covered in tiny, bleeding holes. Meanwhile, Mortis formed two hand-like appendages from his body, each one tightening together to be a virtual club of armor. Mortis raised the two weapons and prepared to smash them down hard an Cerulean's head.

The frost dragon bellowed in pain as the living death smashed itself against her head. Although lacking the thick armor hide of her compatriots, she was still tough, and the blow only stunned her momentarily.
However, she was quick to retaliate, as blade of freezing energy formed around her nasal horn, where she rapidly sliced and diced, cutting Mortis to ribbons as his form shattered into smaller fragments, several of them frozrn solid by the blade of cold.
Before Mortis could reform, Cerulean took to the wing and attempted to douse the area with her freezer beam...

Cerulean fires, but Mortis was nowhere to be seen. She had made a mistake earlier when she had not only exposed the sewers by ripping them free of the ground, but also freeing them of water, therefore creating the perfect network of fully acessable, water-free escape routes. From within the tunnels, Mortis rings with a terrible, dreadful sound, resonating throughout the city. Screaming in inconcievable pain, Cerulean once again falls off her flight pattern and crashes into the street. Quickly, Mortis reforms and pulls free of the sewers, before pulling together a pure sonic beam, prepared to fire at the fallen dragon...
