-sorry for the delay. Internet connection is on the fritz-
Cerulean attempted to shield herself with another ice barrier, but the sonic blast easily shattered the crystalline defense, and she roared in pain as the blast struck her. Blood leaked from her ears as her head pounded from the attack.
But she would not relent. Their struggles had brought them close to the shoreline again, and with a little concentration, a massive wave rose up, sweeping Mortis away into the bay, where she dragged him down into the briny depths.
At the bottom of the bay, amidst all kinds of wreckage, Cerulean put her hydrokinesis to good use and attempted to crush Mortis beneath the very ocean itself...

Quickly, Mortis broke down. Not focused enough to concentrate on all of the Black Death, Cerulean could do nothing as the swarms of insects swam back to the surface and came back together into their central form, Mortis.
Stomping foward, Mortis reached out and stabbed a singer-covered appandage into Cerulean's neck, inflicting serious damage and injecting dangerous bacteria into the bloodstream, as well as leaving the thoat rather ragged and torn, bleeding badly. Mortis then brought back his other "hand", the Death forming it clinging tightly and putting their blunt wing sides out. This formed an effective fist, which Mortis prepared to smash into his foe's face.

Cerulean fired a freezer beam at point blank range, the icy blast freezing Mortis' hand solid. And with the ice coating it, she was able to use her hydrokinesis to halt the attack, lifting Mortis into the air as she froze the rest of his body in ice.
At last, she relented, allowing the Black Death to plummet to the ground, smashing into thousands of pieces. Most of his body still survived, but a some of it was killed on impact or frozen to death. Mortis was growing smasller, she could see, as each successive attack reduced its overall mass. And while his bacterial injections were a problem, her own accelerated metabolism and immune system were hard at work, reducing the effectiveness of the infection.
Cerulean then lunged at the reforming Mortis, freezing energy coating her talons, as she attempted to shred his body...

Cerulean's claws came, but Mortis simply grinded in a laughter-like way, as his malleble body caved backward where Cerulean's claws were about to strike, causing them to swipe through air. Mortis continued this strategy as Cerulean kept slashing. Finally, one of Cerulean's hands drove into Mortis' body, but this did not have the desired effect. Thinking she was done strying to slash Mortis, she tried to pull out her hand, but she couldn't. She was stuck. Quickly, the Black Death around the hand began sucking away at her flesh, ripping entire chunks away to feed. By the time Cerulean got her hand out, it looked horrible: badly bleeding, muscle and bone visible, huge chunks of flesh missing, a horrendous sight. Now, Mortis tried to repeat an earlier strategy. Breaking down and flying upwards, then reforming in midair right above Cerulean, then crashing down on her. Mortis fell downward towards the Sea Dragon...

Cerulean wheezed as Mortis smashed down atop of her, crushing her beneath his malleable body. But that same degree of malleability dispersed some of the damage, allowing Cerulean to recover faster as she struck back, sending a surge of freezing energy through her body and into Mortis, turning the swarm kaiju into a solid ice block, before lifting him off her body and crushign him with her hydrokinesis.
Shards of frozen insects crashed to the ground, further reducing Mortis' mass. The writhing swarm began to reform again, but Cerulean was already motoring, moving away quickly to dive into the bay area, where another surge of water folowed her descent, threating to sweep Mortis into her domain...

Mortis was indeed swept underwater, but as soon as he came under, he began unleashing a terrible sound. Cerulean screamed and writhed, unable to retaliate as Mortis pulled himself back onto dry land. Now, Mortis could see that if he was going to gain the uppwer hand, he would have to erase his enemy's advantage. So, as Cerulean recovered from the awful sound, Mortis changed shape into snake-like form and started to crawl away from the water's edge, far away, all the way to the very outskirts of San Fransisco, where the buildings are few and small, where the distant forests of California are visible, away from the sea. He then waits for Cerulean to follow.

Cerulean burst from the depths, tracking Mortis' movements. He saught to neutralize her advantage in the water. What a fool he was. Did he not realize that this planet was more than 60% water? Did he not realize the atmosphere was rife with water in vaporous form?
Cerulean shrieked as she pushed skyward, straight intot he cloud barrier. Mortis seemed confused by her sudden withdrawal, but this confusion turned to fear as the clouds gathered and darkened, threatening a torrential downpour the likes of which had not been seen since the days of Noah. The rain came, not in drops and drips, but in a gushing river, controlled by the dragon's mind, as she swept Mortis up and away, crushing and battering him in the flowing power of the water.
She brought Mortis up to eye level, watching him squirm inside his watery prison, before freezing the cage solid, then dropping him from thousands of feet up. The impact might very well level a city block, but the city had been evacuated already. She had waited long enough to ensure that...

SLAM! Mortis struck the groun hard, shattering free of the ice and spreading out. Still, the damage was minimal. Breaking down, he entered his flying form before, and then followed Cerulean into the sky. Quickly, Mortis gathered dangerous sound levels together, then unleashed a searing white beam of concussive force at Cerulean. There was a nasty THUD as the beam smacked into Cerulean's skull, causing her to reel backward and go crashing down towards the city. Cerulean awoke to find a horrible pain in her skull from the nasty crack there. Then, she found herself falling right into a cloud of black and red as Mortis completely overtook her, the Black Death flying around and preparing to slash and sting at her.

How the hell did you change into your flying form? Yuo were stuck in a block of super-compacted ice. There's ways to escape that, but still, you can't just transform mid-fall when you're stuck in ice.

I don't remember being in ice...
Fine, I'll edit.

-for the record, after I lifted you up and crushed you in the water, I froze it before dropping you, hence why you were encased in ice at the end of my turn-
Mortis sure loved physical contact. But as the old Foreigner song went, Cerulean was as cold as ice, literally. A wave of freezing energy washed over Mortis, chilling the horde of insects down as well as halting his assault, allowing Cerulean time to escape.
Her head was on fire from all the assaults Mortis kept directing there, but she would heal. She always did. And with that, Cerulean reared up on her hind legs and opened fire with another freezer beam, hoping to further chill Mortis out.

Mortis quickly reshaped to form an "O", causing the beam to simply pass right right through. After the blast ceased, Mortis was already flaring with white light, just before unleashing a beam of sonic energy that slammed into Cerulean's chest like a sucker punch, causing her to lean forward in pain. As Cerulean's mouth released small droplets of blood, she was pushed backward until she stepped on a gas station, causing a massive explosion of smoke and fire, with flames racing up Cerulean's body, charring her skin, even sending small trickles of fire into her body via the many holes in her skin caused by the voracious feasting of the Black Death. As the charred dragon fell forward out of the inferno, Mortis stepped forward and prepared to dish out even more pain, by engulfing her, and biting and clawing at her already burnt skin.

The explosion, although bad, was far from devastating overall. Cerulean had dealt with worse punishment at the hands of various Ghidorah monsters before. And it was because she was so experienced at fighting through pain, that she was able to easily counter Mortis' assault as before, by releasing a wave of freezing energy. But the fun didn't stop there.
As ice covered Mortis, she used her hydrokinesis to lift the monster colony up and drag it along the streets, crushing it as she ground it across the pavement before slinging the entire colony into and through a half-destroyed structure.
Mortis' reactions seemed a little sluggish when it came to reforming, although it could have just been what she wanted to see, but still she pressed the assault, calling down more water from the heavens before freezing it into long, thin needles of ice, thousands of them, ready to strike at Mortis...

Mortis took the needles, several of them skewering an punctering Black Death, but the advantage of having no complete body, was that swarming attacks like this, though they can decrease the size of the receptor, the have little lasting effect. Mortis forms a giant, spherical form, and begins rolling very fast towards Cerulean (Steering clear of Ghiradelli's) and slams into her full speed, crashing them both backward into a grassy park. Cerulean falls flat on her chest, but she can feel Mortis weighing down on her back, charging up a point-blank sonic beam.
