Unable to dodge the blast at htis range, the frost dragon did the only thing she could. She leaned in, letting her armored skull take the brunt of the blow, and lashed out with her talons, freezing a swathe of destruction through Mortis. The hive collapsed, disrupted by her assault, as she moved away to prevent immediate retaliation.
Mortis was proving to be difficult to hit at a range, so perhaps it was time to move in for the kill, even if his writhing mass of insects that he called a body could out maneuver her. At least at that range, she couldn't miss. And with that in mind, Cerulean rushed back in, Zero Blade swinging, ready to dismember the swarm kaiju piece by piece...

With each swipe, Mortis' body would reshape itself to allow the blade to simply slice through thin air, leaving no affect from the attack. Then, Mortis leapt forward, preparing to wrap his entire body around Cerulean, injecting her with even more deadly bacteria. After letting go, Mortis allowed the Sea Dragon to fall helplessly to the ground, before Mortis began to glow white, screaming like the music of hell itself.

Cerulean raised a shield, freezing the ambient misture into a crystallien barrier, not because it could stop the assualt, but because of what shattering it would give her. Even as the sonic blast shattered the crystal shield and assailed her ears, she focused, fighting through the pain as the thousands upon thousands of crystal shards focused on Mortis, before flinging them at the swarm kaiju, impaling countless numbers of insects on icy needles.
Mortis screamed as his form disentigrated, the swarm having been significantly reduced by the sheer amount of damage Cerulean was able to do to it as a whole. The frost dragon stood tall, blood pouring from her ears and nostrils, but still fighting. And nothing was going to stop her now. A wall of water rose from the bay, threatening to engulf the area. Mortis could run, but there was nowhere he could. The sewers were not safe and the sky was her domain as well.
It would take a miracle to stop her now, and frankly, she didn't think the swarm had it in him to do it...

Mortis knew he needed cover, even if not perfect cover. As the tidal wave came in, Mortis broke down into the swarm of Black Death, who immediately went inside the nearby surrounding buildings, slaughtering all refugees that they found inside. After the massacre, all of the Death found the most nicely hidden places they could locate, be it in the basements, elevator shafts, or the elevators themeselves. The wave came in, barely damaging the buildings, and barely flooding the insides. Soon, after the monsoon was over, the horrendous Black Death swarm flew free, before forming back into Mortis, who was now standing "knee" deep in water. So, clearly Cerulean could use water to her advantage. Well, so could Mortis. Cerulean watched in amazement as Mortis simply seemed to collapse, vanishing beneath the water. Beneath the liquid's calm surface, Mortis moved like a large blanket, silent, invisible, until finally coming to Cerulean's ankles. Mortis attacked, stinging and stabbing the ankles, causing Cerulean to howl in pain before crashing down into the water. Now, Mortis prepared to wrap himself tightly around Cerulean like a strait jacket, holding her to the bottom, drowning her with her own best weapon...

Mortis was a complete idiot. She had absolute control over the water, and trying to drown her was a futile gesture. She willed the water to warp away, sweeping Mortis with it as she froze a pillar of ice containing the black death in the middle of the street, before shattering it and impaling countless members of the swarm with ice shards.
Mortis' physical form was having trouble keeping up with the damage it seemed, and Cerulean pressed the advantage, first shielding herself in ice before preparing to impale more bugs with more ice spears...

Mortis formed several holes in hs body where the spears were going to strike, and they simply passed through. The, he released his terrible sound, causing Cerulean to simply crash into the ground, writhing and screaming in pain. Mortis then walked over and prepared to engulf Cerlean again, taking away more of her precious body matter.

As Mortis enveloped the dragon, Cerulean focused all her power into one final burst fo freezing energy, which enveloped Mortis and froze the entire colony solid. With a swift strike from her claws, she shattered the ice sculpture into millions of pieces before retreating towards the bay.
The humans could clean up the mess. She had wounds to tend to.
