Toronto was caught in a horrendous ice storm, riots raged through the streets as some invisible presence pushed the fear struck crowds through SWAT forces.
Suddenly, a great shadow blanketed the city. Dirge had finally made his presence known. A massive bear, clouds of icy fog billowed and rolled off his body. Amoungst the ice his wirey brown fur waved in a non-existant breeze as he faded into the mortal realm.
Dirge heaved his body up to an upright position, sniffing at the air around him. A low growl reverberated from his throat. Something was coming...or was already here and he dind't like it.

The bear stood on guard, its wet nose sniffing the air for any signs of the enemy he had caught wind of, but no such luck. Several minutes past as the icy fog spread out, and then in the distance, the great bear saw it. A tornado was rapidly approaching the city, but it wasn't normal.
The tornado was purposely missing the buildings that should have been in its way, and it was gathering of the icy fog and spewing it in the direction of the bear where it would do no harm to the fleeing humans. Once that was done, the twister pulled back into the sky, and the chorus of thunder began.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Lightning danced in the sky and were sent to the ground for a brilliant display in front of the bear, and all the while, he moved beneath the streets. The strongest of the guardians, and the crowned king of the woodlands. The storm was silenced within a second, replaced by a soft snow fall that began to cover the wet streets within seconds.
Then, like a tidal wave, the ground rose up and fell back down. The brown eyes of Scutes looked at the steady bear and its arm lifted, pointing one of its huge claws at the beast.
"Leave or die." The guardian said, transmitting the message to the bear via mind.

Dirge's response was swift and brutal. The undead behemoth vanished out of sight, suddenly appearing above Scutes and dropping a massive paw down on the rodents skull. A sickening crack reveraberated throughout the city as muscled paw met armoured head.
Suctes collapsed to the ground from the massive weight, pavement and cars broke apart and flew through the air like a busted jigsaw puzzle. Dazed, Scutes wasn't able to react in time as Dirge wrapped his powerful jaws around the quilled tail of Scutes....

Of all the bad ideas in the long, brutal history of bad ideas, Dirge had no idea what in the hell he had just done. The quills on Scute's back extended outward, covering themselves in white energy. Dirge's maw was forced to release as a scream of complete pain erupted from him. Several energy quills fired out, each stabbing into the bear's back, sides, and neck. Then, to make matters worse, the quills then exploded. A shower of blood was thrown into the air, painting the brown armor red as the bear fell to its side.
Scutes turned, a loud.. sound coming from its maw as it raised an arm, both claws glowing with energy. The Sonic Slash then came down, intent on gutting the bear alive.

Dirge wasn't gonna' have any of this shit. The great Wendigo spawn warped out of the claws lethal path, appearing behind the supposed Guardian. Dirge spun Scutes around and wrapped his powerful jaws around his throat, pumping the animal full of the lethal curse. Still holding on, Dirge plowed Scutes through rows upon rows of buildings. He stopped him close to the CN Tower and spit out the warm chunk of windpipe in his mouth.
Dirge reered up, readying to drop his full weight on to the prone body of Scutes.

While infected, Scutes still had enough intelligence to deploy a lethal blow to this open, rather silly attack. The Guardian snorted and brought up both hands, all four claws glowing with energy. The bear shouted in rage, and then the curse began to take affect. Scutes became wild, enraged even. The guardian's hand slashed upward, carving four straight, deep, and bloody gashes from Dirge's gut to the base of its neck. The creature fell backward, a pool of red forming at its side.
The Guardian snorted and leaped into the air, coiled up into a ball, the rage allowed him to go all out on this enemy, not caring about humans caught in the crossfire. The curse became his power. Hundreds of energy quills were shot off in every direction.

((OOC:- Sorry, was away. Should've said something >_<))
Dirge quickly flipped around and landed to his feet, becoming intangable. The spikes flowing through his invisible, wavy form and hitting the ground. The blazing white eyes seemed ignited with intensity.
Scutes landed back to Earth...sharp pain shot up his leg. The constant close exposure to Dirge has cause his paws to become frost burnt, his purpled and blackend flesh splintered and painfully crack as steaming blood oozed out.
As Scutes wailed in pain, Dirge ran up and blew a blast of thick white fog into his face. Scutes screamed in shock as his whole head and almost done to his neck began to numb. He quickly pulled his head out of the deadly cloud, causing small cracks to begin to form around his neck.
Dirge stood totally still...rendering him invisible to his foe.

Scutes snarled in rage as he looked around, but the guardian wasn't dumb. If he wanted to remain invisible.. Then so be it. The armadillos body launched into the air, coiled up and rotating, before spewing hundreds of energy quills in every direction. The area exploded into a fiery hell, and so did Dirge. The bear leaned back, crying in terror as its fur was engulfed in flames.
Scutes landed after, pulling off a bitching pose before sending more energy quills, this time from his tail, at the bear.

Dirge went intangible, the Spikes flowing through once more. The armadillos side became open and Dirge teleported forward, his claws digging into the side of Scutes face, just below the eye. His powerful fingers dug in deep, coming through the roof of his mouth, the brittle icey flesh became the consistancy of ice-cream.
Dirge whipped the screaming rodents head back, bathing his abdomene in thick, icey gas. The crackling and forming of massive ice crystals echoed throughout the city. Scutes screamed like a banshee, as his heightend breathing caused small spiderweb cracks to form across his chest and belly like breaking glass. Dirge removed his claws and stood back, waiting for the next move.

Dirge didn't have to wait long, for as soon as he stepped away, dozens of bolts of lightning began to fall from the sky, ripping into his sides and back. The bear roared in pain as his meat exploded from his body, the wounds bleeding and dead, black flesh falling from the beast. Scutes turned around, his claws glowing with energy, prepared to Sonic Slash the bear's chest.

Scutes charged towards the great bear beast, but the long muscular arm of Dirge got to him first. Dirge dug his paw into the chunky frozen flesh along his abdomene, wrist deep in Scutes chest he racked the whole claw upward through the frozen chunks of the rodents body. His claw reached an unfrozen peice of flesh and flung Scutes over his head and belly first on the earth of the desolated city.
Dirge belched a blast of frozen ice mist along Scutes back. The fleshy, nerve connected armour began to blacken and become numb to Scutes. Dirge's ferocious roar echoed throughout the city as Scutes tried to move with his frozen back armor.
