The guardian though, was no full. While he couldn't feel his back, he damn well knew it was still there. The creature curled into a ball and quickly rolled away before coming back, smashing full force into Dirge and covering the behemoth in a wall of fire and smoke before both bounced back.
Scutes rightened himself, leaped into the air, and began to spray energy needles in every direction.

Scutes had practicually done Dirges job for him. Scutes back was now painfully mutilated, chunks of armor hung loosely to tendon, nerves and flesh. Cracks and ripples spidered around and amoungst the plates.
Dirge teleported behind and below Scutes, several energy spikes ripped through his arms and into his face as he reached up and grabbed Scutes tail. He wrapped both paws around it, ignornig the pain as the spines dug into his palms.
With every tendon, muscle and every once of strength he slammed Scutes onto his ravaged back, a ferocious roar echoed as his muscles pulled like massive, living cables. A sickening crack reverberated throughout the city as the back plates were cracked and shreaded, becoming disconnected from the flesh along his back. All that was exposed now was senstively layer of bloodied and bruised muscle.
Scutes painfully rolled his shoulder blades as he slowly rose to his feet. Out of nowhere, Dirge appeared again and racked his claws down the soft dead flesh of Scutes face, exposing bone.
Dirge' ferocious roar reverberated off the surrounded obliterated cityscape, egging his oponnent on.

Scutes stood up, while his back didn't feel much, being armored and all, he knew he'd still be perfectly fine to roll up with, but this beast needed something else. Being the God of weather, Scutes had no problem changing his tactics to bring the dead bear down. As the creature stood up, its eyes began to glow white, and the skies began to change.
Spikes of wind began to drop around the guardian, twisters dancing around the beast like Native Americans dancing around a fire. The bear looked on puzzled, and then realized this creature had full, undivided, and utter control of weather, and by God, Scutes was now gonna' start using it.
At once, a large tornado fell from the sky, and the bear found its feet lifting up off the ground as the tornado increased in size, even bigger than an F5 as the bear was carried around like a turd going the toilet. The tornado began to spin even faster, then faster, and then faster still.
The pieces of debris, even as small as a pebble, ripped through the bear's flesh. The bigger stuff was indescribable, but if Dirge had been a moon, it could be said he was covered in craters on each side. Then came the side affects of being spun so rapidly...
His bones, organs, blood, and flesh began to pull away from one another. Pieces of bloody flesh began to fly off the bear's body, only to slap in his face seconds later. The bear groaned in pain as a large tree stabbed directly into his eye socket, just beneath the eye. A car smashed against its head, do more damage than a full metal missile. A piece of concrete, almost perfectly triangular in shape, dug deep into its gut, far deeper than the bear could reach.
And about five blocks away, Scutes commanded the tornado like a conductor to his musicians. He watched in glee as red formed in the winds, but was quickly sucked up or sent outward across the landscape. For three minutes this went on until Scutes killed the twister, but the inertia carried Dirge several hundred meters away, almost two miles, before he smashed hard against that large tower. It collapsed on him, the needle stabbing into his gut and forcing the chunk of concrete even further.
Scutes stood back, taking a page from Dirge, and simply watched on.

Dirges limp and battered body rolled and groaned like an ancient machine as it came to its clawed paws, the sharp talons hooked into the ground.
Dirge spread his jaws and grinned. Girders and concrete stuck inbetween the seperate tower-sized tooth. If he could laugh he would, from where he was he could see Scutes; glowing intense eyes focused on the task of controling the surrounding enviroment, the black clouds continued to spiral around him as he hovered a few meters above the ravaged earth, each blooded muscle twitched and throbbed.
Dirge slowly bowed his head to his foe; he didn't know if he appreciated or even understood the gesture, but it didn't matter.
The great beast leaped forward disappearing in a cloud of smoke, appearing directly infront of Scutes. Before the rodent could react, Dirge swiped his massive claw into the unarmoured throat of Scutes, slashing a massive hole straight into his windpipe; before Scutes flew to far to the side Dirge's powerful jaws wrapped the gaping hole in his neck. Dirge heaved a blast of icey gas directly inside of Scutes body. Freezing and slowly rendering all his internal organs heavily frost bit and gradually being covered in a layer of ice as his internal temperature continued to slowly drop dangerously. The gas steamed gentlely out of the massive chest wound.
The tackle sent them colliding backwards together through the air.....

Scutes though, being much more agile, managed to get out of the situation fairly quick, but he decided he could more fun. The beast's eyes flashed white again, and a large tornado fell in front of the guardian. Scutes moaned loudly and whipped his tail to the side, making a conveniently placed, well un-touched skyscraper fall directly into the tornado. The armored creature curled up into a ball as the building fell.. and now Dirge was introduced to a new type of pain.
What happened next was equivalent to a human shooting a bear with a machine gun. The flesh of Dirge exploded into a series of small, grizzly-looking wounds as pieces of rubble were sent into its flesh as if bullets. A larger piece, almost as big as Dirge's head, was thrown from the tornado and smashed into the bear's chest, stabbing directly into it and not falling out. Dirge moaned and fell backward, crying loudly as pieces of rubble still, relentlessly, shot into its flesh.
The guardian stopped the tornado and looked at the fallen bear. The creature relaid a message to the beast. "You like to stay hidden? Well guess what.. So do I."
The guardian stepped back, his eyes glowing white and he lifted his claws. A large, white cloud fell from the sky, engulfing the entire city in a much thicker, much colder mist than Dirge could ever wish to create. The skies began to rage with thunder, and hundreds of bolts of lightning began to fall.. all converging on the demon bear.
