Reports of a powerful heat signature at the South Pole had brought Darktide to this location, as freezing winds whipped ice and snow around the black machine. Ice crackled beneath his massive feet as he approached the target area, the residual energies from his own booster engines melting the ice as he moved. The heat signature was getting close now, and soon, Darktide would confront its owner and destroy it.

Not long after, Gojintos burst to the battle scene and saw his opponent. Gojintos let out a thunderous bellow and awaited combat.

Zur the demented hermaphrodite supervillain with a mental complex which involves shooting laser beams outta his crotch suddenly teleports onto the pole in a poof of smoke, before messing up his superhero pose and falling to do the splits on the pole. Cursing and spitting profanity left and right, he leaps up with a gibberish cry of "IMANUGAHHH!!!" followed by "SHU SHUGUBAH!!!"
Switching back to coherent English, he licks his palm and slicks his hair back, before striking a position with his arms akimbo and his cape wrapped around him. Pointing at the two and waggling his finger, he yells, "KILL EACH OTHER! NOW! OR ELSE! AND IF NOT, THEN I'LL COME BACK AND SHOOT YOU BOTH WITH MY CROTCH BEAM AND YOU'LL BOTH DIE! MWAHAHAHAHAH!" With one last hysterical titter, Zur teleports away, leaving the two to start the fight.

Darktide loosed a harsh mechanical roar as he raised his left arm and aimed the cannon right at Gojintos. The saurian mutation, akthough fast, was no match for a pair projectiles traveling at Mach 40. The hypersonic slugs slammed into Gojintos and exploded with a fearsome shockwave, which proppelled Gojintos backwards for hundreds of meters before a wall of ice stopped his flight. Gojintos moaned in agony as two smoking craters were left on his chest.
Darktide roared again as his booster engines kicked in, and the machine shot forward, Plasma Cutter extended, intending to drive it right into Gojintos' chest...

Gojintos waited till the last possible second, and then quickly dodged out of the way and Riptide slammed hard into the glacial wall. A wail of agony escaped the mechas maw. Gojintos then lunged in and swung his massive tail hopping to connect with Riptides head.

((OOC: Darktide, not Riptide, and machines don't feel pain, so there will be no wailing in agony.))
Gojinto's tail clanged off of Darktide's head, but since the NXT armopr was resistant to blunt trauma like that, he suffered minimal damage. It managed to knock him aside slightly, but Darktide half turned slashed with the Plasma Cutter, striking Gojintos across the chest. The saurian mutation roared as the plasma blade sliced through his armored flesh.
Darktide then rocketed back to put some distance between him and Gojintos, before entering a semi-crouch, in preperation to unleash the Ion Linear Cannon's beam shot function. Charged particles flowed through his intake vents and began to gather at the cannon's tip, before erupting outward in a brilliant beam of energy with remarkable penetrative abilities...

Gojintos dodged left but the beam still managed to lance across his shoulder. Gojintos roared in suprise more than pain. The saurian then began to glow with white hot atomic energy, a faint glow appeared in his tooth lined maw. Then Gojintos fired a white hot concentrated beam of atomic energy. The beam lanced across Darktide's armored chest and abdomen. Sending the mechanical beast a good distance before slamming into the ice. Gojintos then cautiously approached, knowing to well that his opponent was not out.

Fortunately for Darktide, the thermonuclear beam did nothing more than push him, for his armor absorbed the power and converted it into usable energy.
His booster engines kicked in again and brought the machine upright to face Gojintos. Darktide then retaliated with his own beam weapon, sending a beam of concentrated plasma energy right into Gojintos' face. The saurian roared as sparks flew and flesh was burned, temporarily blinding him against what was coming. By the time he could see again, it was almost too late.
Darktide was in his face, preparing to deliver a backhand across Gojintos' face with his Impact Cannons...

The force of the impact knocked Gojintos backwards, leaving a bruise on his face. Gojintos then lunged forward and shot a point blank atomic ray that raked across Darktide's face, a shower of sparks went up as Darktide was blinded temporarily. Gojintos then saw his chance, and charged in full speed to deliver a hellacious spear.

Once again though, Gojintos' ray was all force, as the heat and nuclear energies contained within were rapidly absorbed by Darktide's NXT armor.
As Gojintos attempted to tackle him, Darktide, instead of digging in, used Gojintos' own momentum against him and flipped the saurian over onto his back, splintering ice as his massive form slammed into the ground, before driving his Delta Blades into Gojintos' chest. Blood spurted from the wounds as Gojintos wailed in agony.
Darktide then took a step back and kept going to put some distance between him and Gojintos, before preparing to unleash several charged particle spheres at gojintos from his Ion Linear Cannon...

Gojintos arose his chest bloddy from the attack, but he had no time to lick his wounds he noticed some spherical objects heading his way. Gojintos managed to dodge a couple of them but the last one detonated around his spines causing Gojintos to roar in surprise. Gojintos grew more angered and took a great dislikeing to Darktide. Gojintos charged in full force and slammed his massive tail right into the chest area of Darktide sending sparks flying and knocking Darktide to the ground hard, sending tremors for miles around the area. Gojintos then let out a loud reverberating roar as he raised his massive foot, hoping to impact with Darktides abdomen.

Darktide quickly riased his right arm, as Gojintos' foot slammed down on the Barrier Field generated by the crystal unit. Gojintos continued to apply pressure, but Darktide was at the advantage now.
He kicked out at Gojintos' other leg, which gave a satisfying crunch as titanium alloys met flesh and blood. Gojintos buckled slightly, and then Darktide made his move, shoving Gojintos' raised leg aside and toppling the beast.
As Gojintos collapsed, Darktide's boosters roared to life, sending him skidding across the ice away from Gojintos before righting himself. Darktide then took to the skies, hovering outside of Gojintos' reach, and took aim with his Hyper NOVA Cannon, the thermal energies making the very air steam...

Gojintos raised up and saw Darktide about to fire some sort of energy attack on Gojintos. However Gojintos' body began to convulse with super heated energy, a faint glow appeared in his tooth lined maw. Then as Darktide fired his beam Gojintos fired a massive super atomic ray, and both beams locked in showing off brilliant displays of colors. Both monsters fought to maintain intensity and power. Until finally the beams exploded sending Darktide flying out of the sky and crash landing into an iceberg causing it to topple over him. Gojintos was forced back into the wall and fell to the ground. Over the battlefield there is now a huge crater left from the wake of the power of both monstrous beams. Darktide and Gojintos' body steamed from the intense heat generated from the blast.
