Darktide's joints creaked slightly as he shifted on the ice. That last attack had done quite some damage to the surrounding area, and it was making the battleground tenuously unstable. Steam and sparks still erupted periodically from his body, but it wasn't enough to permanently put him down.
Gojintos on the other hand, was sprawled at the base of a glacial cliff. Darktide made his way over to the fallen monster and began to mercilessly stomp on Gojintos' head. The saurian squeeled in pain as the machine, who weighed nearly 3 times as much as the reptile did, put massive amounts of pressure on his head. Blood oozed form broken vessels in Gojintos' nose, as he moaned weakly.
Darktide stepped back, putting a good distance between himself and Gojintos, before lowering the Impact Cannons and preparing to fire another double burst at Gojintos' chest...

Before Darktide had the time to fire it. Gojintos sprang up and started to super heat his body the entire area began to quake and rumble from the intense power Gojintos was creating. Then Gojintos slammed his foot down and created a massive super heated shockwave that bathed Darktide in its full fury.
The blast sent Darktide soaring, sparks and small fires erupted on his armored frame. The area then began to collapse from the sheer pressure and power causing it to cave into the sea. Gojintos dove beneath the depths and began to wash the blood off his body and rubbed his head from where Darktide slammed his foot on him.
Gojintos then took to the surface. Ready to finish off Darktide. The massive saurian leaped onto land and waited to see if his target was still alive from that last attack.

As Gojintos stomped above the surface of the glacier, the ice exploded around him, propelling him upwards in a spray of tiny fragments, before he crashed back to earth, and hard.
Darktide erupted from the hole in the ice seconds later, having used his Impact Cannons underwater to get the jump on Gojintos. The saurian lay still, crumpled nearby. Darktide aimed to make sure he stayed that way, and leapt at him, Plasma Cutter extended, intending to plunge it into Gojintos' chest...

Gojintos came to and noticed Darktide extend something from his wrist. He remembered it from earlier. He had an idea that would work. Gojintos began to charge in energy and immediately fired his Atomic ray at 75% charged even though Darktide absorbed the heat from the radiation, the particle stream caused the most damage causing Darktide to reel back and slam hard onto the ice causing it to split opend in all directions like lightning. Steam billowed from his armored chest and sparks flew out from his joints. Gojintos then ran forward and jumped into the air right behind Darktide and focusing all his weight and strength on the back to send Darktide to the ground.

Darktide easily proved to be not so easy to down, weighing nearly three times as much as the saurian. As Gojintos tackled him, Darktide rocketed skyward, dragging his unwilling victim with him. From hundred feet up, he spun in mid-air, throwing Gojintos to the ground.
The saurian squeeled as he smashed into the ice, tearing a hole clean through it and splashing into the icy depths below. His body floated to the surface moments later, blood flowing into the ice and water, staining it crimson.
Darktide remained in the air, incapable of being harmed by Gojintos' ranged attacks, as he aimed his shoulder cannon at the floating lizard. A familiar glow built at the barrel, and then exploded outward, lancing forward in a beam of compressed charged particles...

Zur Pa Yah teleports back into the arena, this time with a mounted TV screen. Slamming it down onto the ice, he looks at the combatants and screehes:
"What the hell are you all smoking? I told you all to kill each other! Why has the carnage stopped? Urgh..."
Giving both kaiju the middle finger, he yells up at Gojintos, "Heeeeeey, you! Yes, you up there, owner of Gojintos! You have until..." Whipping out a kitchen timer, he sets it to 24 hours and tosses it down on the ice. "...until 1 PM PST tomorrow, July 17, 2007, to continue the carnage, all right? Right. Or else..."
Zur jabs a finger at the TV screen, which comes on to show a family member of Gojintos's owner picking up a radio on their front door, staring at it confusedly, and taking it in. The moment the person leaves, it unfolds and suddenly transforms into Frenzy the Decepticon midget, who rubs his metal talons gleefully and sprints to the computer. With squeaks, screeches, and alien curses, the midget straps a bomb with a 24-hour timer to the monitor and vaults out the window, tittering and taking the broadcasting camera with him.
Zur salutes the two kaiju and strikes a horrible nauseating pose. "Well, I'll be seeing you-" Hearing a crash, he swivels to see the TV camera pointing up at the sky, and Frenzy groaning in the background. "What the hell happened?"
"...yiiiii....guh....rahhh...got hit by a car..."
"Useless piece of shit," the supervillain grunted, before disappearing in a poof of smoke. "Remember, folks - one more day to post prior to disqualification, unless an excuse has been given!"

(Too late, man. Sorry...wanted this match to go the end, but what the heck...did he tell anyone he was leaving? If not, then...)
"What'd I tell you???" Zur screamed as he teleported back in one day later. "Too late now! Now your comp shall die!" He looked back at the mounted TV screen he'd previously dumped there, noticed the computer was still there, and winced. "Damn. Stupid piece of scrap metal planted a dud. Well..."
Frenzy teleported out of nowhere and promptly morphed into a boombox that began to play the Mortal Kombat theme. Pointing at Gojintos, Zur shrieked, "FINISH HIM!!!"

The particle beam shredded clean through Gojintos' shoulder, tearing a ragged hole through the monster as it went. Blood stained the arctic waters crimson as Darktide landed to confirm the kill. Gojintos was alive, but barely.
He would put an end to that.
Darktide hefted Gojintos out of the water, and gave the reptile a rather nasty face-plant to the ice. The twin blades on Darktide's right arm stabbed into the ice to either side of Gojintos' neck, pinning him to the ground. A deadly hum built, as energy focused between the blades. Suddenly, a green plasma blade shot forth, severing Gojintos' spinl cord and wind pipe, nearly decapitating the beast in the process. He was most certainyl dead now.
Darktide loosed a mechanical roar of triumph as he jetted off, looking for more of a challenge.
