Riptide smashes into the remains of the structure, collapsing it under his bulk, with smoke still pouring from the wound in his chest. He feels no pain from it, but the internal damages are too much to ignore. And apparently, Neo-Spacegodzilla has picked up a few new tricks since thier last encounter. But that was alright. He had a few new things to show this bastardous mutation. He picked himself out of the rubble and stared down his adversary, before finally hitting on a plan.
Riptide kicked off and rocketed forward like before, but this time, at the last second, he leapt into the air and brought his feet down on Neo-Spacegodzilla's head. Using his boosters to keep him aloft, Riptide delivered a brutal series of stomps to Neo-Spacegodzilla's head. Blood flowed as Neo-Spacegodzilla's head was smashed in under the force of the attacks, until Riptide finally felt somethign give underfoot, and No-Spacegodzilla collapsed.
Riptide landed beside him and grabbed the monster by the back of the head in preperation for slamming it against the pavement, in rapid and painful fashion...

Still rather dazed from the curbstomping that he just recieved, NSG gets his face planted in the pavement a few times before he can retaliate. But when he finally does, the results aren't pleasant, at least not for Riptide. NSG's tail raises up and points its crystal-adorned tip at the base of the mech's back. With a mighty thrust, NSG embeds the crystal spur in Riptide's back. The machine immediately releases NSG's head, but before it can do anything else, it is lifted up, swung backwards in an arc, and has its head planted firmly in the ground.
With that, NSG gets to his feet and shakes the stars from his vision. He then turns around to face his opponent, whom is still stuck in the ground like some demented lawn decoration with its legs flailing around in the air. NSG spins around, sweeping his tail just above the ground in hopes of striking Riptide in the neck, so as to put maximum strain on the metal there. (just for clarification, Riptide's back is facing NSG)

Through a combination of his thrusters and his own mechanical strength, Riptide manages to pry his head loose from the pavement. But he isn't fast enough to keep Neo-Spacegodzilla from sending him flying. Ritpide crashes in a heap a short distance away, but quickly gets back to his feet to face his adversary. Glowing green blades of plasma energy spring from his wrist units as he lunges at Neo-Spacegodzilla, plunging the blades in so deep that the focusing array themselves are also imbedded in Neo-Spacegodzilla's flesh. The crystal titan shrieks in agony as the blades cut deep, but Riptide has more surprises in store.
The ports under his wrists open up as he prepares to release the Electroshock anchors into Neo-Spacegodzilla's stomach and release their deadly charge...
And if the space monster tries to pulse energy back through Riptide, well...the machine has ways of dealing with that too.

As the anchors embed themselves in NSG's hide, he glares into Riptide's eyes. A malicious grin creeps across his face, blood dripping out between his teeth. With a roar, NSG rams his hand into the hole in Riptide's chest. He grabs a handful of wires and surges energy through his arm, thus bypassing the NXT armor. Wires and circuitry spark and fry under the assault. After several seconds, NSG rears his head back then thrusts it forward, striking Riptide squarely in the forehead with his own. The headbutt sends the mech toppling backwards. In doing so, the Plasma Blades are pulled free of NSG's body, and NSG's hand is likewise freed from Riptide's body.
With a growl, NSG walks around to Riptide's side and puts his foot on the machine's head, then begins to put his body weight onto it.

However, Neo-Spacegodzilla has forgotten about the Plasma Cutters. And, despite the 80,000 tons bulk being applied to his face, the machine feels no pain and quickly lashes out as Neo-Spacegodzilla's leg with the left arm, slicing deep into the flesh there with a single plasma blade. Neo-Spacegodzilla shrieks in agony, although the blade cauterized the wound, and Riptide manages to throw off his aggressor.
He barely has time to stand before Neo-Spacegodzilla prepares to retaliate, so Riptide activates his barrier fields and charges, attempting to use the force fields to smash Neo-Spacegodzilla upside the head with, as well as protect him from any attacks...

Instead of trying to directly attack his oncoming foe, NSG braces himself and raises his own shield. The barriers collide, sending bolts of energy out where they contact. Riptide continues to apply pressure, but NSG holds fast. Suddenly, a massive explosion rips across Riptide's back, causing it to falter and fall over.
NSG lowers his shield and looks down at his prone opponent. The fairly small hole left by his tail spur is now considerably larger, and is smoking and sparking quite profusely. A result of the crystal missile he'd struck it with while it was distracted with trying to get through his shield.
With that, NSG picks the mech up with his telekinesis, and promptly chucks it at a random building.

But Riptide activates his thrusters and stps himself short of slamming into the building, before taking off after Neo-Spacegodzilla again. This time, the machien smashes into hsi adversary at high speeds, and grabs him, dragging him along for the ride as he ascends into the sky. Even though Neo-Spacegodzilla struggles, Riptide holds tight before turning to face the ground. A looked of recognition passes over Neo-Spacegodzilla's face as the two hurtle back towards the ground, Neo-Spacegodzilla held out before Riptide. Riptide releases his prey at the last moment and skinds to a halt some distance away. NSG isn't so lucky.
The titanic saurian smashes into the pavement, leaving a nice sized impact crater in the process. But before he can raise his battered frame from the dust, a hail of missiles streaks towards him, courtesy of the friendly neighborhood anti-kaiju mecha....

NSG's eyes widen as he catches a glimpse of the missiles streaking toward him. His mouth opens and unleashes a Corona beam, destroying several of them. He cannot destroy them all, though, and the remaining ones strike his body.
Using his telekinesis, NSG slowly rises to his feet and turns around to face Riptide. He rears his head back and roars, then returns his gaze to his opponent, his eyes blazing like rubies. Behind Riptide, 10 crystals raise off the ground. Six quickly surround the mech, while the remaining four position themselves above it. With a sadistic grin, NSG sends all ten crystals slamming into Riptide simultaneously, resulting in an explosion that towers several hundred meters into the sky.
NSG hovers over to the impact area. By the time he reaches it, the smoke has cleared, revealing the battered form of Riptide laying in the center of a crater created by the tremendous explosion. Sparks periodically shoot from the newly-damaged areas of its armor. With that, NSG lifts Riptide up with his telekinesis and tries to slam it back down onto the ground.

Riptide gets smashed around a few times, but the machine has been put through the paces by NSG before, and he knows of ways to defeat his foe. As NSG lifts him up for another slam, Riptide's arms shoot out and the cables fire from the underside of the wrist, burying themselves in NSG's thighs. Crackling bolts of electricity surge along the cables as as NSG jutters and smokes from the sheer amount of energy being pumped into him. Riptide keeps his thrusters active to keep from being dropped to the ground, before finally releasing the cables and retracting them.
NSG seems to be quite injured, but in no way out of the fight. In order to rectify this, Riptide activates the Plasma Cutters again and rockets at NSG's head, hoping to stab the blades in deep...

But NSG manages to regain his composure in time to react. He ducks down, and with the aid of his telekinesis, spins around, smashing his powerful tail into Riptide's side. The blow sends the mech crashing to the ground a short distance away, where it skids to a halt.
NSG turns to face his opponent and procees to hurl a pair of crystals at the prone Riptide.

Riptide uses his arms and barrier fields to block the attack, although the shield flickers momentarily after being hit. It seems that he might be losing some power, but it was at least enough to protect him. With sparks still popping out of the cracks and damaged sections of his armor, Riptide pulls himself to a standing position. The cannons on his shoulders lower and begin to charge with energy, and his mouth opens wide and also begins to charge. The trio of beams lane forward and eventually strike Neo-Spacegodzill in thechest, the force, heat, and explosive potential of the beams feeding off each other as they drive the monster back into some of his own towers, leaving a scorched and blackened area on his chest.
Riptide looses a mechanical roar of triumph and takes to the skies, planning on blasting his adversary with more of the same...

Riptide lets loose another trio of beams, but NSG is ready this time. He raises his shield, allowing the beams to wash harmlessly across its surface. Once the attack ceases, NSG lowers his shield and fires his Corona beam at Riptide. Thinking his opponent has become desperate and is no longer thinking clearly, Riptide makes no attempt to evade the attack, confident in his NXT armor. The beam streaks toward Riptide, while NSG deftly guides it... directly into the hole in Riptide's chest. The dagger-like beam wreaks all sorts of havoc on the mech's innards. A large explosion rocks Riptide's body, immediately sending him crashing to the ground below, the impact sending up a virtual explosion of dust and debris.
NSG hovers over to his fallen opponent, landing a couple hundred meters away from the edge of the impact crater. Emerald bolts of energy leap from his shoulder crystals and reach into the dust cloud, gripping Riptide in the Gravity Tornado. The machine is lifted up and pulled out of the dust cloud, smoke still billowing from the hole in its chest, and promptly hurled at a nearby skyscraper.

Once again, Riptide smashes into the building, caving in a good portion of it and scattering rubble across the streets. However, he is slower to rise this time, the damage finally catching up with his systems. Rather than overtax his already drained energy supplies, the machine pulls itself out of the building, which promptly collapses, and uproots one of Neo-Spacegodzilla's own towers, snapping it in half so that it resembles little more than a baseball bat, albeit one made out of a substance superior to diamonds.
Riptide proceeds to lay into Neo-Spacegodzilla, smashing the beast upside the head with the crystal, while small fragments of the melee weapon imbed themselves in his flesh. The titanic entity stumbles backwards and falls as Riptide flips the crystal, now holding the larger end, and prepares to drive the pointed portion into the prone form of Neo-Spacegodzilla's gut...

As Riptide drives the crystal downward, he is quickly interrupted by the attack quite literally backfiring in his face. NSG smashes the crystal with a blast of psychic energy, sending a hail of shards at much of Riptide's upper body. The impact of the psychic blast doesn't help, either, as it sends Riptide flying back a short distance.
NSG slowly rises to his feet and hovers over to his fallen opponent. He reaches down and lifts the mech up by the tail, then tries to smash it back down into the ground.

Riptide makes yet another impression of his face in the pavement thanks to Neo-Spacegodzilla, but that doesn't put him out of the running yet. The city may be in ruins, but this time, he has no intentions of letting this behemoth escape alive.
Riptide's boosters kick in, carrying the machine and it's 80,000 ton cargo away into the sky. 1000 feet up, and Riptide flips, slinging his tail foward, and Neo-Spacegodzilla with it, before deftly grabbing the saurian by the midsection as the two begin to plummet back to Earth at speeds in excess of Mach 3, thanks to a combination of booster engines and gravity. The pair slams into the ground at high speeds, Neo-Spacegodzilla on the bottom, leaving him to take the brunt of the force. The impact of Neo-Spacegodzilla slamming into the ground leaves a nice crater, and Riptide's additional 120,000 ton bulk makes matters worse for the space monster.
Riptide picks himself up off the battered creature, and powers up the Plasma Cutters, before preparing to plunge them right into Neo-Spacegodzilla's chest....
