Gorgon soared over Texas, casting his grim shadow on the city. It must have taken the humans years to build all of this... Gorgon wondered how it would take to destroy it. Probably less than a day, he decided.
The winged serpent landed, digging his claws into the firm soil below and raising his head, scouring the city. No military to greet him this time, but he knew better than to let his guard down. A battle was imminent.

Beneath the dirt, terror brewed. The invisible, protective skin over his eyes moved slightly as the worm woke up. On the surface, Gorgon roared loudly as the ground began to shake. A whale-like call came from the dirt before a wave of soil lifted up and fell back down. Half-submerged, Mucus sounded another warning as its three jaws parted, showing Gorgon the thousands of teeth in its maw before they closed once more.

The signal was given, and the battle began.
Gorgon lifted his head and roared, wings spread. His foe was larger, but that would be his downfall. He was a big, cumbersome target- easy to hit. Easy to paralyze.
Gorgon started the bout with a paralysis blast, spitting the blazing purple ball of energy directly at the annelid's head. It exploded against Mucus' face, violet energy surging through it's thick skin and paralyzing the beasts' hideous jaws. It's body writhed in reaction, and Gorgon fired again, aiming for the other end of the lengthy beast. It was a more difficult target now that it was squirming, though, and the blast missed it's mark, hitting one of the worm's coils instead. Still satisfied, Gorgon hissed and watched with amusement as the giant invertebrate struggled in vain to open it's mouth.

Gorgon's glee was quickly turned against it. For now, its jaws may be out, but its tail isn't. Mucus hoisted its spear-ending tail into the air and lashed out, stabbing Gorgon just below the chin. At once, the monster's wings stopped flapping and it began to fall into a heap once the tail pulled out. A stream of blood hit the ground as Gorgon clutched his throat, trying to end the flow of blood.
Mucus, while the affects began to weaken, let out a groan. Its body lifted up and dove into the dirt, vanishing in a second. The dragon looked around, not able to see the spear tail approaching from behind..

Gorgon saw something out of the corner of his eye and dodged, avoiding the striking tail. He hissed and lunged out, grabbing the outstretched tail in his mouth. Gorgon bit down hard, forcing in his fangs and pumping venom into the worm's bloodstream. Gorgon released his bite, tossing Mucus' tail aside and backing up. He watched as the venom took effect, causing the muscles in Mucus' tail to tighten and flex uncontrollably, going into wild, painful muscle spasms.

As the dragon bit down, Mucus' head burst from the ground behind him. Its maw riddled of the blasted paralysis. Gorgon snarled, that snarl turning into a cry as Mucus' three jaws clamped on the side of his neck. The teeth removed chunks of flesh, the glands in the mouth releasing alcohol. Mucus began to gorge, feeding on the dragon's fresh, delicious blood as he screamed and twitched. Mucus pulled his head back and then threw it forward, releasing Gorgon and allowing it to smash on the ground. The wound on his side bleeding furiously as the alcohol prevented healing. Mucus snorted as its body began to create a sticky glue, he then began wiggling his tail around his mouth, hoping the dragon would take the bait.

Gorgon watched Mucus' tail slither back and forth tauntingly, watching as thick slime began to ooze over it, coating it and dripping off in globs.
Enraged by the attack and insulted by the worm's idiotic attempt to trap him, Gorgon struck out with the speed and explosive power of a lightning bolt. His spiky bone mace streaked through the air and into Mucus' face, the force of the blow throwing the monster's head down into the ground as blood and teeth scattered. Gorgon titled back his head, mouth filling with gathering energy, and fired another paraylsis blast. It flew into the slimy beast's head and exploded. Gorgon snarled, watching the battered jaws freeze up again. The bleeding of his wounds was slowing down, but it was clear that he could only take so many bites of that magnitude. The worm's jaws were shut, and shut they must remain.

But Gorgon had made one hellova bad mistake. As it roared in glory, Mucus tail launched upward, still coated in glue. The tail entered the dragon's maw and swashed around, coating the glue on his teeth, tongue, roof, and floor. The tail then pulled out, coating deep gashes in its maw before he fell backward, jaws glued shut. The worm's head lifted up and turned, its tail lifted up again and stabbed forward, aiming for his chest.

Gorgon let out a muffled growl, glanced up at the oozing worm, and narrowed his eyes. He slipped under the striking tail and shot forward viper-style, attacking swiftly and without hesitation.
He swung his tail mace furiously at the section of the worm that seemed to be it's chest, if worms had chests, that is. The blow struck the worm with tremendous force, taking with it the thick slime that covered it. Gorgon flicked his tail, throwing the ball of gluey goo into the streets. Now, for the moment, there was a bare spot on the monster's chest.
Gorgon rammed into it, plunging his horn through the bare spot and deep into Mucus' flesh. Gorgon hissed and pushed forward, digging it deeper into his foe before ripping it out, slicing through the worm monster's hide and spraying it's blood everywhere.
Gorgon stepped back, Mucus' blood splattered all over his face. It coated his horn and trickled down his face, dripping off his chin.

As the dragon hissed and looked on, Mucus' head rose up. Its triple set of jaws parted, freed from the paralysis once again. The worm hissed and lashed forward, latching onto the front side of Gorgon, around the same area he attacked him. Gorgon screamed in pain as Mucus' teeth ripped into his scaly flesh and removed the scales. Blood flowed freely into Mucus' awaiting throat. The stinging sensation increased even more as the Ion Alcohol cleaned the wound and increased the blood flow...

Gorgon's glue restraints ripped apart as he swung open his jaws and roared, immediately rushing to defend himself. Gorgon pushed away from the worm's open jaws, steadied himself, and thrust out with his tail. His tail shot into the worm's open mouth, shooting down it's gullet and then halting at length's limit. With a hateful hiss, Gorgon jerked his tail back, running his razor-sharp spines against the top of Mucus' internal wall. The venomous barbs sliced through soft, sensitive, unprotected flesh, unleashing their horrible poisons. As he whipped his tail out, the worm flailed it's head back and cried, blood spraying from it's open mouth.
As the worm reared back, Gorgon opened his newly freed jaws and fired a paralysis blast. It streaked across the sky, flying straight towards the worm's bloodied jaws...

The beam hit, numbing the worm's jaws, but the idea now was returning the favor. Gorgon's eyes widened as the tail of the worm shot down his own throat and began to coat itself in glue. The dragon began to gag as its jaws were widened as it was forced to deep throat the worm's tail. Yellow and green liquid began to spew out, mixing with the glue that began to drip from its maw. After several seconds, Mucus tore its tail out of the dragon's body. A geyser of blood, along with various stomach fluids, erupted from its maw as it fell forward, blood flowing from the area the glue didn't seal. Now one to ignore the opportunity, Mucus brought up its tail and pointed at the dragon's forehead..
