Pulling the shell did little more than pull King Claw's entire body however, and the dinosaur simply wasted its strength. The claw hissed again and lashed out with its claw, bashing Varan hard in the face. The monster fell to its side, head cracked open and a stream of blood pooling around its head. As the dinosaur groaned, King Claw spun around to face it, he lifted a claw and prepared to bash his head again.

Despite the gigantic amount of pain, Varan was able to grab the demon crab's claw before it could slam against his head. He bit into it, this time allowing the energy to flow through King Claw's body. Every wound widened, exploding in a burst of flesh and blood. new wounds were opened as well. King Claw screamed and a huge gob of blood shot out of its mouth. When Varan had exerted as much energy as he could stand to in one attack, he released the crab who was without doubt feeling equal, if not worse pain than Varan was.
Varan stood up and linked his hands together. He raised them and prepared to bash King Claw with full force.

Good match. You both beat the hell outta each other pretty soundly. However...

King Claw hissed and scuttled to the side as the hammer fist swooped down. Before the dinosaur could pull them back, King Claw's large claw reached up and snapped around Varan's neck. The dinosaur gasped, gripping the claw in his hands and trying to pry it off. It wasn't going to work. Varan was far too tired and weak to put up much of a fight against it.
King Claw's mandibles clicked together, sounding almost like laughter, as the pincer squeezed. Varan looked deep into King Claw's stalking eyes. The dinosaur then realized it..
He was up against a relentless creature. The incarnation of ruthless aggression. The beast of ultimate destruction. A monster that could overpower Orochi himself.
But then, King Claw's pincer let go, allowing Varan to fall backward, unconscious from the lack of oxygen he needed. King Claw hissed again, knowing full well the message had been delievered..
Fear the claw.
The crab then turned around and entered the sea, perhaps someday, he would return to teach the beam-spewing Varan a lesson again.
