The waters outside Honolulu seemed peaceful. Children played and young couples made the beast with two backs on the beaches. Unknowing to them, pure terror approached them. Terror with six legs, two claws, and a bright orange exoskeleton. King Claw exploded from the sea, grabbing surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers in its huge claws and stuffing them in its maw.

Varan soared above the beautiful waters of Honolulu. Traveling around Earth, he had grown pessimistic, witnessing the lewd acts of sodomy man commited with the Earth. These waters calmed Varan, and for a moment he forgot the terrible grudge he held against man. His peace was short-lived, for he soon spotted a giant crab feasting on humans below him. After the crab ate its fill, Varan descended. If this creature were to advance, Honolulu would be devastated, and Varan was the one who wanted to be doing the devastating. Landing in front of the crab, he let loose a terrible battle cry.

King Claw lets out a few clicks with its mandibles and raises its claws, scuttling side-to-side, its claws slowly opening and closing. The crustacean shrieked once as Varan stepped forward. Taking this act as a challenge, King Claw's pincer snapped shut, a ball of pressurize air flew out. Varan shouted in horror as the ball exploded on his chest, pushing him back and ripping off chunks of flesh.
The uber-crab shrieked in joy and moved forward with surprising speed, ready to gut this beast with its claw.

Varan was surprised at the crab's attack power. This battle was going to be more difficult than he thought. Even so, he wasn't going to neglect his sense of honor. He was going to refrain from energy based attacks unless the need arose.
At this moment, it didn't. Varan was able to counter the crab by hitting it just above the claw with his tail. The force wasn't particularly strong, but it was enough to throw King Claw off guard. Varan aimed his foot right at the crab's mandibles, ready to deliver a devastating kick.

The kick pushed the crab back, more than making it flying, but the dinosaur had left itself open. The crab's mandibles parted, a squirt of water spraying. Varan cried out in pain as the acidic fluid quickly began to dissolve the skin, streams of blood moving down its foot. As the critter backed away, King Claw lashed its claw up again, ready to stab it into the beast once more.

Varan grabbed the claw just as it penetrated the flesh. Pulling the claw out, Varan picked the creature up, still holding onto the claw and tossed it at a lighthouse. The lighthouse crumbled as the creature impacted it. The crab continued to fly through the air until its body impacted a large rock jutting from the sands. A small cracking sound could be heard as a tiny crack appeared on the creature's back.
Varan plucked out one of his spines and launched it at the crab's exposed underbelly.

King Claw hissed as his spikes began to suck in air, and then shoot it out. A cloud of dust rose up as he pulled a Gamera and dodged the spike before landing on its six legs. The crab pulled off a bitch pose with his claws pointed directly at the dinosaur. The ninja-like crustacean snapped his claw shut, a ball of pressurized air flew out, smacking the beast hard in the chin and sending it falling back. The creature let out a series of clicks and moved side to side, its claw snapping and sending another pressure ball out.

Regaining himself, Varan leaped into the air, evading the blast. Calling the spike he had launched back to him, he position himself over King Claw's back and guided the spine straight into the small crack in its back. After pushing it in using telekinesis, Varan commanded the spine to detonate.
When the explosion settled, the small crack on King Claw's back began to expand until it was close to its eye. Blood began to flow out of the deep crack.
Hovering above King Claw, Varan forced his body downward, his massive feet aimed straight at the creature's back.

King Claw hissed once more, how dare this thing try and destroy his beautiful shell. Oh well. The crab's claw launched upward, swerved around the foot, and stabbed deep into the area between the legs. Varan's eyes shot open and maw released a scream as the claw stabbed directly into his most private place. In pain, Varan fell backward, removing himself from the claw, but giving a new meaning to vaginal bleeding. The uber-crab shrieked in joy before squirting acidic water into the wound.

Varan screamed not only because of the pain, but also because of the lost dignity. No way was he going to let that crab humiliate him again. He launched a telekinetic pulse, preventing all but a drop of the acidic water from coming into contact with him and sending it flying in different directions.
Grabbing hold of the crab telekinetically, Varan bashed its body against any solid object in the area. When Varan finally released King Claw, he found that its orange shell had now become almost completely red. Blood was streaming forth from the many, many cracks on the crab's shell. Where there had once been a tiny crack on King Claw's back, there was now a huge, gaping hole.
Again releasing another spine from his back, Varan launched it at the crab and guided it straight into the huge hole on its back.

King Claw clicked its mandibles together, it was damaged, but could still fight. Its spikes began to intake air once more, and soon released it as it sucked in. Then, like a missile, King Claw launched himself at the bleeding dinosaur. The aquatic mutant crashed into it, stabbing several spikes into its chest before both fell to the ground. The crab hissed and shrieked as it crawled on to, and the placed a pincer around its throat...

Even though King Claw had managed to avoid the spine, it had not truly escaped it . As King Claw's pincer began to grip tighter on varan's throat, Varan directed the spine toward the hole on King Claw's exposed back. The spine burrowed into the back of the defenseless crustacean and exploded.
King Claw opened its mandibles and let out a disturbing gurgling noise as it went limp, the attack briefly sapping its strength. Its grip on Varan's throat loosened, and Varan was able to hurl King Claw to the edge of the beach. The crab skidded across the sands, stopping when its legs came into contact with the hot pavement.
Dashing over to it, Varan prepared to deliver another kick to King Claw's face.
