The dinosaur made the same mistake once more, but the crab-of-doom wasn't going to go as easy this time. Its pincer clamped around the ankle part, pulling it down. The claw then lifted, bringing Varan up, and then slamming it down like a mad-man with a bat beats the street. With it laying still, KC squirted acidic water at its face.
(OOC: Can't wait for Enhanced mode..)

Varan had no time to avoid the attack, but he did have time to minimize the damage. He tilted his head so that most of the water came into contact with the spines on the back of his head. Almost instantly, they dissolved.
Varan got back on his feet, ignoring the hot, lumpy liquid sliding down his back. He picked up King Claw and dug his claws into the right side of his shell before it could start to struggle. Varan then opened his mouth and took a gigantic bite out of the flesh to the right of King Claw's eye, holding back the energy wave.
Spitting the flesh out, Varan released King Claw. As it collided with the ground below, Varan prepared to deliver a stomp to the back.

Luckily for the crab, its exoskeleton was still able to protect him from the blow, but for how long remained to be seen. With the dinosaur still close, King Claw's spikes once again sucked in air and released it, kicking up a storm of sand as it shot off the ground like a cannon, stabbing both claws into the open wounds on Varan's chest. The beast screamed loudly as the claws tore out chunks of flesh, but it wasn't done. Its dagger-like legs lifted up, attempting to stab into it also.

King Claw's legs penetrated Varan. There was nothing he could have done to prevent it.
Doing his best to ignore the pain, Varan took to the skies, pressing King Claw against him and tearing its legs out of Varan's chest. When Varan was above a cluster of tall buildings, he released King Claw, sending it plummeting to the ground below. It fell face first right onto the buildings, creating a storm of glass and concrete.
Varan landed in front of the immobile crab, preparing to jab his claws into it again.

Luckily for King Claw, his enemy had been oblivious to how much punishment a crab can take. While it bled, its face was far from as cut up as Varan had hoped, and it really wasn't in that bad of shape yet. It moved to the side just as the claws came down, a shower of sparks flew up as they simply cut into hard, armor-like exoskeleton.
With a burst of speed, the crustacean turned around and 'punched' Varan in the face. The dinosaur fell to the side with a ground, the blow bursting a blood vessel that spilled blood. With a shriek, King Claw moved backward, and prepared to do the same with the other claw.

Varan leaped out of the way of the attack just in time. He quickly pulled out another spine and dashed toward King Claw. Almost as soon as his feet came into contact with the crab's claws, he jumped, leaping right over King Claw's body.
Varan grabbed the crab's back and flipped it over lightly, exposing its underbelly. Varan slashed King Claw's underbelly repeatedly. Within seconds, King Claw's underbelly was full of huge, gaping wounds.
Walking over to King Claw's front side, Varan tossed the spine at the crab's mandibles.

King Claw shrieked and managed to move to the side. The spike missed its face, but instead stabbed and exploded on one of its own spikes. Enraged, King Claw lifted its claws, the larger one snapped shut and a pressure ball was released.
Varan raised up its hands, but he was far to slow. The ball smashed into his head, snapping his neck backward as he was carried away before the ball dissipated. With another click, King Claw shot off another.

EDIT:
The ball of air slammed right into the region just below Varan's chest. The force of the blast knocked Varan down.
Lying on the ground, Varan played possum for a little while, hoping to catch King Claw off guard when he preformed his next little trick. Opening his eyes, he seized a telekinetic hold on King Claw's body. he once again slammed the giant crab against the ground and numerous buildings until whatever protection the shell might have provided was completely gone.
Holding King Claw in the air, Varan walked up to him and opened his mouth, ready to take a big bite out of King Claw's tender flesh.

He forced the crab's large claw to enter its open mouth and go as far as it could. The claw was snapped open, then shut and that same ball of air that had cause Varan so much trouble was released into King Claw's body. It'd be physically impossible for KC's arm to bend in a manner that would allow his claw to be shoved down his throat like that without beaking the arm in at least a couple places. And there wouldn't be enough air in KC's throat/stomach to make a pressure ball that strong. And it'd be impossible for his claw to open in there in the first place. So yeah, that needs an edit. |

(OOC:... How in the blue hell would you remove an entire exoskeleton off of a kaiju-sized crab via banging it on a ruined, by all accounts, moist ground from the water, sand, and blood, not to mention ruining his ability to suck in air.. and I don't know.. survive in general? So I'm gonna' ACT like that was just normal damage and not massive power-play like that.)
King Claw's 'tender flesh' was still rather protected by its orange exoskeleton, but the jaws weren't without the damage. A stream of clear fluid drizzled down its armored legs before Varan thrashed its head back, swallowing a mixture of flesh and exoskeleton. Before the dinosaur could strike again, King Claw was about to get his revenge.
Its massive pincer lifted up from its body, but not to snap. It clamped around the elbow of the right arm, tightened, and then twisted. Varan shouted in pain as a bundle of skin and muscle was torn from its limb before the claw released him. As it backed away, the crab's spikes began to suck in more air. With a cloud of dust behind it, King Claw lifted upward, its pincers closed and targeting from its throat.

Before King Claw's pincers could stab Varan's hide, he released a burst of energy from his mouth. Varan regretted betraying his honor, but he wasn't too keen on having those claws penetrating his skin again.
The blast hit King Claw just below the eyes. The devil crab screamed in agony as its body fell back, landing on the ground on its back Varan's eyes rested on teh crab's face and found that the blast had scarred it pretty badly.
Varan lifted his arm and prepared to plunge his claws into the creature's underbelly.

King Claw hissed before a squirt of water flew from its mouth. Varan's hand pulled back, steaming as the flesh melted off of the muscle. As the beast roared, King Claw began to righten itself once more. The uber-crab-of-doom shrieked loudly and pointed its claw at Varan's face, preparing a point-blank pressure ball.

Varan blocked the pressure ball with his left arm. Chunks of flesh flew off Varan's arm and he let out a loud grunt of irritation and pain.
Varan dislodged the remaining five spines off his back and directed them toward different spots on King Claw's body. Two planted themselves on King Claw's pincers, and the other three formed a sort of triangle on King Claw's back. Varan then willed them to detonate. Chunks of flesh, shell, and bodily fluids rained down.
A ball of energy began to form in Varan's mouth. Varan intended to direct it into the largest hole in King Claw's back

King Claw let out a high pitched shriek and backed away at surprising speeds. Just as the beam fired, it lifted a clenched claw. The crab hissed as the beam exploded on it instead of its back, showering the sand with burning pieces of exoskeleton. As the smoke and fired cleared, the uber-crab's form leaped through the air, large pincer gapping wide. The pincer didn't close tightly around, but instead just enough to rope the crustacean onto its now un-spiked back.
King Claw hissed as the added weight made the beast loose its balance and fall backward. The roar he emitted was soon replaced by cries as all six of King Claw's dagger-like legs stretched out and then came in at fast speeds, stabbing into each shoulder, thigh, and area in between.
As Varan's blood began to mix with that of the crab's, the larger claw closed around the back of its neck and then began to squeeze.

As the pincers squeezed tighter around Varan's neck, he lifted his massive tail and whipped the devil crab's back with it repeatedly. As is exoskeleton began to crack like an eggshell, King Claw loosened its grip. Varan stood up, causing King Claw to simply slide off the god dinosaur's back.
Walking up to the crab, Varan allowed himself to fall on top of its back. He dug his claws into the right side of its shell and began to pull.
