Barugon turned his neck and latched down onto Gorgon's body as well as digging his claws into the beast's flesh. Gorgon hissed as his grip loosened. Barugon quickly thrashed his way out of Gorgon's coils and turned to face Gorgon. He let out a mighty roar before charging forward, nasal horn pointed towards Gorgon's chestal region...

Gorgon ushered a furious scream of a roar and launched up into the air, lifting his serpentine body up and out of reach as Barugon thundered by beneath. Gorgon's tail shot straight down, his spike laden club striking Barugon in the center of his spine and sending him directly down to the ground. Gorgon descended on his downed foe, casting his massive shadow on him as he drew nearer.

Barugon snarled and rolled out of the way as Gorgon came down upon the ground, missing Barugon. The beasts stared at each other for a few seconds. Barugon suddenly hissed and suddenly disappeared. Gorgon snorted as he looked around for his foe. Gorgon then felt a severe pain and could feel his body falling.
Barugon had stealthed up behind the snake-like creature and punced onto it's back. Gorgon cried in pain as Barugon began to tear into the beast's back...

Pouncing on his back was surely an unexpected move- but only because it was such a foolish one. Gorgon snarled and arced his back, the many poison-filled spines lining his back thrusting outward and jabbing into Barugon's flesh. The invisible monster let out a shriek of pain as the burning poison wreaked havoc on Barugon's nervous system. Gorgon threw his pain-stricken foe off, not seeing him, but hearing him landing on the ground nearby. Gorgon flicked his tongue out, pulling in scent molecules and immediately finding his enemy's location. Gorgon spread his wings, lifted off the ground, and exhaled a paralysis blast in the general area of his writhing, unseen foe.

Barugon rolled out of the way, the beam striking the area he was just in. His camouflage disappeared, and he was now revealed. Barugon quickly shot out his tongue, unleashing a spray of his icy mist upon Gorgon's left wing. Gorgon tried to flap his wing, but it was chilled. Without the wing beating, Gorgon fell out of the sky, smashing into a building on the way down.
Barugon snarled and began spraying his ice mist around the area where Gorgon landed...

As the icy mist settled on the debris, Gorgon slithered beneath the rubble and burst out from the base of the building's remains. The giant snake monster bit down, latching onto Barugon's extended tongue like a bird would grab a wriggling worm. Gorgon shook his head, hissing loudly as he pulled and applied pressure to the sensitive muscle. Gorgon then let go, allowing the tongue to fly backwards, then hang limply from it's owner's mouth. Gorgon followed up with a fierce uppercut from his tail club, hitting Barugon's chin and slamming the monster's jaws shut on his own tongue.

After re-reading the fight.. This one is hard to call.. But I dub Gorgon the winner. You may finish him.

(Good match, TG.  ) As the lizard kaiju recoiled, Gorgon pressed his attack. Opening his jaws wide, Gorgon unleashed a powerful blast of vibrant energy, striking directly below Barugon. It detonated beneath him, it's paralyzing explosion engulfing Barugon's legs and underbelly. As Gorgon slithered towards him, the doomed monster tried desperately to move- but it's muscles were tensed, and it's limbs were not responding. There would be no escape. In a burst of speed Gorgon enveloped his foe, wrapping around his body and snaring him. He sank his venomous fangs into Barugon's neck and began to constrict, squeezing the life out of his helpless enemy. Gorgon's crushing coils grew tighter and tighter, putting more and more pressure on Barugon's body. Inbetween Barugon's labored breathing were soft cracking noises- his ribs breaking under the enormous pressure. Gorgon's coils grew tighter yet, until finally, the end came. The pressure reached it's unbearable maximum, stopping Barugon's heart completely. Gorgon flicked out his tongue, sensing death. He hissed, suddenly released his grip, and slithered away a few paces to admire his work. The effects of his paralysis blast wore off just in time for Barugon's limp, lifeless legs to give out from under him. The giant lizard corpse fell to the ground with a thud, it's long, bloodied tongue hanging out of it's mouth in a pool of gathering saliva. Gorgon rose up, wings spread, and let out a victorious cry that echoed through all of Tokyo. The city, and all it's cowering inhabitants were his, and his alone, to terrorize and devour... |
