The peaceful, half-rebuilt city of New Orleans was quit, but mosquitoes annoyed the hell out of every human within the city. As the blistering sun loomed over the cloud-less skies, the ground began to rumble and shake. Attracted by the noise of various construction vehicles, the massive scorpion snarled in anticipation as it tore through solid rock and dirt. The ground heaved upward like a heat beat before falling back down, the roads splitting, forming a fault line.
Huge chunks of rubble were flung out of the Earth as the monster rose, his twin pincers snapping and tail slamming against the ground, smashing cars and people beneath him. Scorpadon yelled in hunger and began to feed, but such small organisms would only be an appetizer.

Herculon, who just so happened to be flying overhead, sees Scorpadon below him. Deciding it would be fun to put the hurt on the bug, he lands and prepares for battle.

Hope ya' don't mind, Hyper. IR's been itching to use him, and it's a buggy battle, besides, we've had our one-on-ones, time to have a one-on-one-on-one. Since when the hell do I mind, man? You all know that I'm quite possible one of the most mellow people around, and you also know that wiping the slate clean means that I'm not dying for another one-on-one rematch. In fact, the only thing that gets me annoyed is a lack of scantily clad anime chicks, but so long as I have internet, that'll never happen. --------------------- Before either Herculon or Scorpadon, both of whose names rhyme for some obscene reason, can start the carnage, the ground behind them erupts, interrupting a New Orleans potluck lunch in a company and putting people being tormented by mosquitoes out of their agony. Rakkaden, having exhausted his supply of one-liners during his sojourn with Milenko’s DNA, apparently has returned to his normal state. He tosses his head back, lets out a scream, and prepares to kick the asses of any other insect to interfere with his plans to destroy all the McDonalds in the world.

Scorpadon shrieks and turns around to face the newly arriving Rakkaden. The multi-legged beast roared out as the bipedal arachnid charged forward, massive pincers snapping. The long tail lifted up over Scorpadon's head and lashed out, implanting itself deep in his foe's head. The mighty bug released a cry of terror as its vision was clouded in red as its flesh began to liquefy and pieces fell off, disintegrating. As the toxins raced around the sting, the head began to seemly boil and spout boil-like pimples.
As the insect screeched in pain and gripped its head, Scorpadon flew behind it and tried the same tactic on Herculon.

But Herculon would not be so easily struck. Grabbing hold of Scorpadon's tail with one of his mighty hands, he begins slamming his foe against the ground repeatedly.
After doing that a dozen or so times, Herc flings Scorpadon at Rakkaden.

Rakkaden's head hurts like hell from the previous assault by Scorpadon, but he still manages to fight through the excruciating waves of pain and open his pincer claw, an orb of fizzling energy appearing and charging there. The next second, Rakkaden swivels, the garguatuan insect turning...
Jjust in time to see the behemoth that had previously attacked him being hurled towards his face. Glad of this present, Rakkaden unleashes his newly charged beam, blasting Scorpadon away and in the other direction, the beam detonating on contact, throwing flesh over the skies. The beam continues to explode for every second in contact with the target, sending Scorpadon, englufed in fire, back to crash into a mss of buildings, a bloody hole gaping.
Rakkaden then charges at Herculon, and thanks him by slashing a whip at his face...

While his body was thrown through the air, the massive Scorpadon hissed and unfolded his wings, regaining composure before he crashed against the ground. As his tough armor smoked, he looked down to see only the smallest pieces of NT. 20 Diamond-strength armor missing. The monster hissed and swerved to the side, watching on as Rakkaden beat Herculon with his whip.
Scorpadon circled to the side and roared aloud, causing Rakkaden to turn and look back, and the it happened. One claw impaled Rakkaden's gut, another claw impaled Herculon's chest. The dinosaurian scorpion increased his speed, pushing both insects through several buildings before pulling upward. The mighty scorpion roared in rage and twirled once before sending both Herculon and Rakkaden to the ground, both of them screaming in agony before they hit the ground. Herculon landed first, his armor snapping and cracking as it flopped against the ground, but then the mighty Herculon screamed in terror as the much heavier Rakkaden fell directly on top of him, his body pinned beneath its super-heavy weight.
Scorpadon shrieked in laughter and his wings began to glow. The monster hissed and flapped his wings once, hundreds of missile-like ion blasts firing out, forming the Ion Swarm.

With Rakkaden's fat ass on top of him, Herculon avoids the brunt of Scorpadon's assault. Once it finishes, he hefts the big blue bug up as he stands up, then drops it off to his side.
He looks up at Scorpadon, then holds his arms out to his sides. Crackling balls of electricity form in his hands. With a roar, he hurls all four of them at the flying dino-bug. They strike their target, resulting in four large explosions. Scorpadon falls out of the smoke cloud and crashes painfully to the ground a couple seconds later, bolts of electricity still snaking across his body.
With that, Herc turns his attention to Rakkaden. Grabbing hold of the back of the insect's skull, he picks it up, then promptly tries to smash its face back down onto the ground.

Herc has his attention on slamming Rakkaden's head face-first into the ground, which would probably hurt like hell, but is unfortunately a very bad idea, due to the fact that Rakkaden's ass is very, very manuverable. In seconds, it shoots between his four spiked legs and a spinneret opens, aiming at Herc's chest. The next second, multiple silken harpoons fire out and spear Herc in the golden gut, sending ichor splattering over the thick strands and throwing the insect back, silk embedded firmly in its gut.
As Herc falls back and crashes into the still juddering Scorpadon, Rakkaden raises his abdomen back up and starts spinning the three strands together, forming them into an oversized broadsword of silk. Aligning it with the presumable necks of his two grounded foes, Rakkaden turns, raises the powerful weapon up high, and slashes his ass back down...

Scorpadon snarled in rage as he saw what was happening and did his best to role to the side, despite Herculon laying on top of him. Rakkaden's attack stabbed deep into Herculon's throat, a geyser of blood exploding upward, but Scorpadon managed to move just enough that the blade scratched his neck's side, instead of impaling.
With the weapons stuck in the ground and in Herculon's throat, it was now Scorpadon's turn. His four spider-like legs extended outward and slashed down while his tail launched upward. The dagger-like tips of the legs stabbed into Herculon's stomach and chest, the beetle beast emitting a cry of agony as the toxins located in the claws began to attack his nerves, making it feel like hellish flames entered the stings. Rakkaden didn't do much better for the tail that launched upward stabbed deep within the monster's precious ass.
The huge spider-crab-dinosaur cried aloud as the sting began to eat away at his best defense and offensive weapon, reducing the muscle and skin to a gooey liquid to plopped to the ground in puddles. It could still function, but with the damage done to the area, it'd now cause him major pain to even form the smallest of strands. Scorpadon, in all his rage, pushed Herculon off himself and bellowed in rage, launching from the ground, his wings flapping, he tackled Rakkaden, his stinger still drenched in blood.
The scorpion looked over his shoulder, making sure Herculon was still flopping on the ground in pain, and then smirked. His spider-legs came out and scorpion tail lifted all at once, and then, all five stingers flew downward. His four spider-legs targeting his arms and chest, with the massive stinger targeting the bug's throat.

As Scorpadon goes about stinging Rakkaden, Herculon begins to recover from the previous attacks against him. He stands up and grips the silken blade in his neck, then rips it out. Tossing the weapon away, he then charges his opponents.
Grabbing the back of Scorpadon's and Rakkaden's heads in each of his upper hands and grabbing the base of their neck with his lower hands, Herculon lifts both of them off the ground. With a roar of power, he begins surging electricity through his hands. As his opponents fry in his grasp, Herculon swings them out to the sides, then quickly brings them together, smashing their skulls against one another with incredible force.
With another roar, he reels his arms back, then cracks his opponents' heads together again. After repeating the process once more, he drops his battered foes to the ground, with smoke rising from their bodies and scorch marks where Herculon was holding them, not to mention their bloodied heads.
Herculon leaps backwards and charges up a massive ball of electricity between his four hands, the hurls it at his downed opponents.

The orb of crackling lightning is suddenly intercepted, though, as a bleeding Rakkaden stumbles back upright and lashes his weapons together. A disc of energy pulses outwards, and starts to ripple as the sphere of electricity makes contact. For a second, the shield combats the power of the attack, before the latter dissipates, fading away into a vortex of crackling lightning around the shield.
So far protected, Rakkaden drops his shield and steps back over Scorpadon, sizing things up. He hurts like hell. His ass feels like it just suffered one massive hemorrhoid, his head is bleeding and spewing ichor and juice out of cracks in his armor, and all this means one thing – Rakkaden is in one very bad mood.
With a furious scream, he bends down, clamps a claw on Scorpadon’s arm, and then charges forwards, smashing the insect into Herculon and sending them both down in a shower of sparks, stunned but barely hurt. However, what comes next will cause pain. With the first part of his plan finished, and his foes down, Rakkaden opens his jaw and lets out with a gigantic storm of his bluish breath. It spreads over the unfortunate recipients, disintegrating their flesh as it goes.
Herc, somewhat under Scorpadon’s bulk, is somewhat protected from the mist, and only suffers minor stings here and there. Scorpadon isn’t as lucky. Its hard exoskeleton, while as powerful as the diamond coated armor of MechaGodzilla, suffers a massive hit from the mist right on its chest, and as Rakkaden was moving its head up and down, the strong armor has been bypassed, and a pretty decent-sized hole now looms, melted goo slipping out the sides, revealing internal crap to the onlooker.
Rakkaden isn’t too stupid, and despite knowing what his foe is capable of, he still remembers he stung him in the abdomen, and he goes and sticks his head directly into Scorpadon and opens his mandibles wide. He may get hurt some, but with Herc temporarily distracted, Rakkaden lets his plan to devour Scorpadon from the inside out take way.
