The city of sin glew brightly on the Nevada horizon, even from Mount. Charleston, campers and teen love makers were mesmerized by the sight, and another being was also. Flying high above the clouds, a cybernetic monster of unknown originals looked down. His AI-Brain hybrid began to map out the city, seeing just where it was.

Gigan's beak opened and closed as it began to descend. It's programs were telling him just one thing: Destroy it all. Gigan's shriek ended the beauty of the city, and a beam of energy burst from the clouds and struck the streets, sending thousands of chunks of rubble, people, and cars into the air.

The monster landed, shrieking aloud.

A serene, calm scene. Dark dirt that goes on, mingling with small stones and various, assorted shrubs and the like. For about three more seconds.

Because after that, the ground erupts open, the MIE dispatched from its storage base to combat this new threat. It rises about five hundred meters above the earth, head bowed, chin tucked to chest, legs pressed tightly together. Then the mech glides down to earth, landing lithely on its legs.

Within moments, the MIE’s head jerks up, its eyes flashing and glimmering as they light up, signaling the beginning of its rampage. Then it begins to sprint in the vague direction of Las Vegas, making great bounds through the air and rarely touching down, so that it appears to fly, and also scaring the crap out of some teens making out on a nearby mountain.

The explosion caught its sensors first. That, and the metallic screech. Without even bothering to slow, the MIE stormed down the main boulevard of Las Vegas, smashing its feet down, unbothered by the fact that it was massacring those who it was assigned to defend. Those who thought themselves safe from Gigan’s assault realized the utter stupidity of the thought as the MIE smashed people and vehicles into piles of mush and punted cars several dozen meters into the air with its steps. Finally, as it passes by a monolithic pyramid, all its sensors focus on its target. Perfection.

Gigan shrieks and its head turns to face the mech. The cyborg's cry once again echoes through the city, shattering windows of cars and buildings. The hands lash down at his sides, and turn into whips in the process. Before the defending machine could react, Gigan slashed the whips back into the air, and down once more. But whips fly at the machine and coil around its neck.

The mech steps back, crushing more objects beneath its feet. The cyborg bellows in anger and leaps into the air, and also pulling the whips back into its arm. This causes a spring like affect, and Gigan's body flies at the machine, legs stretched out. The robot bellows in a mixture of terror and anger as the legs drop kick its chest, sending it plowing into the remains of a near by casino.

Gigan's shriek once again flows through the city and the right hand forms a twin-saw (like GFW Gigan 2's), and plants it on the machine's neck. The saws trap its head...and the saws began to churn.

(Sorry, I usually don’t spend this much time on describing brutal deaths, but I’m currently in a bad mood.)

Sporting a fresh new dent on its chest armor, and now with a chest saw planted around its neck, the MIE is off to a bad start in the city of sin. But at least it isn’t dead yet, which was more than could be said for the innocent (Yeah, right) gamblers who had been in the casino it had just demolished.

Out of a group of five or so men that had been playing blackjack at a table, the MIE’s spines had essentially brought the roof down on them, and all the contestants. When the one survivor looked up, he saw himself surrounded with rubble and sparking wires and the like. Then he saw the giant hunk of wood impaling the table, and the giant wooden beam with a combination of the dealer’s legs and blood seeping out from under it. AND THEN he saw one of the MIE’s rear head crests plummeting towards him.

Essentially, on the bright side for the guy, it missed. On the bad side, being pushed towards the ground with a chainsaw-thing planted around its neck, the MIE is traveling at a high velocity. The spine drives several meters into the earth, sending dirt and floor flying. Oh, and the guy, too. And just when he thought he’d might make it out alive, too, he goes crashing backwards and is skewered on a particularly pointy remnant of a wooden beam. It stabs easily through his flesh, punctures his stomach, and lets his blood gush out.

As the high pitched whine of metal on metal begins to scream, the MIE’s eyes almost seem to narrow as it glares at Gigan. Then its shoulder spines both swivel around to point directly at the cyborg monster’s face. Locked on – perfection in its highest form.

The MIE unleashes twin bolts of concentrated gravity from the blunted point of its spines. Visible only as a blurry stream of semi-translucent energy, it smashes into the target’s chest with incredible kinetic force, showering the mech with sparks. The beams continue to blast Gigan back, his feet digging into the road and plowing up asphalt, back into the Luxor.

As the MIE bounds to its feet once more, the bright light atop the pyramid-esque casino is finally extinguished once and for all, saving Nefertiti from having to file a plagiarism lawsuit. Gigan’s back frills smash into the black, glassy outer layer of the pyramid. Then he topples back into it, leaving behind a cyborg-shaped hole.

The vendors, gamblers, and more of the place all die instantly. One of Gigan’s flailing chainsaws sweeps across a floor, catching about thirty people and lashing them into the air. The blades catch some, smashing their heads right off their necks. One woman’s head is almost completely severed from the force; she dangles at the edge of a hole in the carpet, her head connected by only several threads, gushing blood out of the neck. Then the sinews give way, and her head plummets into oblivion.

Gigan falls the rest of the way in, crushing more civilians under his weight. However, before the kaiju can right himself, the MIE is storming through the remnants of the Luxor, batting aside walls and the like. Roughly, it grasps one of Gigan’s arms and hoists the cyborg to his feet, before jamming it’s freakin’ gigantic fat-arsed gun arm into Gigan’s face and preparing to pump shells into the monster’s eye.

Gigan shrieks, and the arm the mech is holding begins to pulse and bulge. The form takes a new shape of that of a cone. The mech still held on tight, just about to fire, but then it began to read something war wrong. Spikes began to grow on the cone, and the cone began to spin rapidly. Gigan's other hand came up, and now formed like a human hand, gripped the machine's neck and pushed him back. The drilling hand began to grow tentacles that coiled around the robot's arm.

Gigan shrieked and its body, along with M.I.E's, vanished into a ball of light. The pair appeared high above the city, and Gigan pulled its tentacled-drill out of the machine's hand, and the surprise drop sent the robot plummeting to the ground, crashing it into the remains of the pyramid.

Gigan shrieked and began to unleashed rounds of cluster beams.

(...stupid, stupid, transforming arm...)

Even as the MIE’s massive bulk transforms the remains of the corpses in the already devastated Luxor into just more dust and bones, crimson explosions from cluster beams start to fall around it. However, the small explosions are occurring somewhat prematurely, due to the fact that not all the smaller beams are reaching the target. Focused completely on one goal, the MIE stands, batting aside the remnants of the pyramid.

From its clawed hand’s fingers, each tip sprouts a thin streak of emerald light. The machine’s appendage twitches, sending the small glimmers flashing, before the fingers lock together, akin to one about to perform a mighty karate chop. The five beams conjoin to form one larger...much, much larger.

With a bound of its powerful legs, the mech launches itself up back towards where Gigan is, then smashes its energy blade right into Gigan’s groin area, driving it several dozen meters up into the mech’s body. No blood sprays; but both somewhat cybernetic warriors fall back to earth. Gigan is held above the ground by the MIE and it’s blade; the enforcer’s feet strike the cement, causing it to splinter into so many shards and soar upwards, batting and bouncing off the combatants.

Now, still in a continuation of the first movement, the MIE ends its attack a la mode Kiryu from G:STE, only without the impalement. Still holding Gigan suspended before it, the machine begins to sprint down the street, its mighty footfalls slamming into the earth. Cars are kicked away, their occupants killed; others are splattered under the steel feet of their champion, incredible pressure pushing them against the earth before their bodies burst and their organs spill over the MIE’s feet.

Finally, the MIE stops running, almost at the other end of the City of Sin, and let’s Gigan’s momentum carry the cyborg into the air, sending the kaiju squealing and flying off the blade that was previously stabbing it. The mech’s last step, halting it, causes nearby humans to be literally thrown off the ground, against walls, their necks broken and bile spilling from their mouths.

However, Gigan more than likely is more worried about what it is about to slam into. Namely, the Mirage’s pseudo-volcano, still belching out flame and gas from its nightly show.

The cyborg falls back first on the man-made volcano, but the flames it spewed were far from hot enough to damage the robot's hide, and the lava was simply water with red lights beneath it. The cyborg stood up and screeched once more. Its hands came up and began to form something new once more.

First they were squares, then those squares began to shapen themselves into cannon. Blue light began to glow within the cannons, and twin beams of ion energy shot forth. Both beams struck the ground around M.I.E, the ground splitting as if an Earthquake, and the buildings crumbled from the explosive force. The cannons stopped, and more beams began to fire out, this time Gigan struck his target.

M.I.E was thrown back, the explosions ripping through its body. The cyborg continued to advance forward, the enemy machine still being thrown back. Finally, after several seconds, the beams stopped, but inertia carried the M.I.E into the Stratosphere Tower. The M.I.E let out a bellow as the tower fell directly on top of its back, pinning it to the ground.

Gigan shrieked and began to fire more ion beams into the rubble.

As the cyborg advanced on the rubble, continuing its completely and utterly brutal assault, the tower starts to shift, the crumbled or demolished parts rising up and down like falling waves. Then the entire thing is thrown into the sky, splintering as it goes. The mighty wave of destruction rumbes outwards, and the ground beneath Gigan's feet literally pulls down into itself before flipping outwards in an invisible wave of death and destruction that sends everything within range sky-high.

Gigan lets out a cybernetic howl of pain as it is thrown about six hundred meters into the air. At the same time, everything within an approximate five hundred meter radius is vaporized. The cement, and what remains of the cars and corpses littering the ground, are thrown upwards, bouncing off Gigan's hide, while several prominent buildings and skyscrapers topple to the ground, shattering and breaking.

At the nearby Treasure Island casino, several well-paid (Perhaps) actors are performing the nightly pirate show when the shockwave hits. They fall from the boat like angels from grace, toppling into the cold night waters, relatively unharmed. Well, until Gigan comes down on the boat, pushing the men ever deeper and drowning them. As it shrieks and writhes in the waters, the MIE rights itself, swinging an arm and clearing away rubble. Then it lets out a metallic scream, points its maw at its fallen foe, and looses a mighty beam of energy, ions vaporizing the air as it rockets towards the target.

The beam struck Gigan's side, showering the cyborg in a series of explosions. The cyborg rolled to the side, demolishing what ever was left of the casino, and the beam struck the water, boiling it on contact.

Gigan screeched as its A.I. analyzed the situation, and the half machine, half monster stood up. The creature lashed out with whips again, but only one went around the neck, the other coiled around the stomach. The long, smooth whips grew large, teeth like blades, and then it happened...

A screeching sound of cutting metal could be heard from miles away as the newly formed saw began to cut through M.I.E's armor, the neck and stomach area being torn apart as if a tin can. Gigan shrieked and pulled its whip-saw hybrid back, the M.I.E falling to its knees, sparks erupting from its eyes, mouth, and nearly every joint. Black rubber and sparking wires can now be seen spilling out of M.I.E's neck and stomach, a black fluid seeping out.

Gigan squawked again and lashed out with the saw-whips once more, this time both coiling around its neck..

The MIE lets out a horrendous howl around the sparks flying from its multiple orifices, staggering back up to its feet to face off against the offending enemy. This foe was dangerous. It would have to be eliminated. Oblivious to the multiple gashes now over its body, the mech faces the cyborg as the whips spin and tighten around its neck.

Reaching up with one hand, the mech grasps the bladed whip, ignoring the mighty saw blades on it, before tugging hard and reeling the cyborg in. Then, it releases its grasp, locks its hand into a laser blade, and swings it around in a glowing sweep. This slashes across the entire length of Gigan, causing it to fall back and to release the MIE. Continuing its assault, the mech raises its blade high up and prepares to smash it into Gigan’s face...

Gigan screeched in pain as the blade stabbed into his forehead, the cyborg's translucent blood spilling out. In response, the cybernetic fiend swung both hands up, the saw-whips coiling around the arms and back, holding M.I.E. in place and the whips began to press the mech against Gigan's body. At once, the saw-whips and abdomen saw kicked the life. A volcanic eruption of sparks and smoke exploded from in between both monsters as the cyborg's multiple saws went to work. After 20 seconds, the attack stopped and the whips released the robot, allowing the robot to fall on its back. The machine's armor looked like a can opener had been taken to it, and its shoulders, back, and arms didn't fair better from the saw-whips.

Gigan's right hand morphed into a pick ax, and the monster threw it down at the mech's head.

(...hell, now I know why MM is so feared back at TK's arena. He’s...so...dang...brutal... ^_^)

Even as the pickaxe falls towards the MIE’s head, the machine is already leaping away. Bounding several hundred meters in another direction, the mech finally stops when it smashes into an advertisement for a casino – somehow, still standing in the midst of the carnage – and stops to analyze the situation with its sensors. Its armor is torn to shreds, and one of the multiple AI brains in its right arm has been destroyed by the ravages of the saw blade. The MIE stares down at its foe, that has been brutalizing it the entire time. Then, it throws its head back and lets out a metallic scream. Playtime is over.

The MIE’s following assault is quite brutal. Aiming directly for the wound it had previously opened, the MIE opens its maw with another howl. However, rather than unleashing a bolt of energy like before, the box-shaped parts on each side of its maw kick into action, and release a barrage of dozens of explosive spears at the locked on target.

More of Gigan’s translucent blood sprays as the following events occur. Some of the MIE’s projectiles miss the target narrowly, soaring away to blast chunks of debris and rubble out of the nearby Bellagio, but dozens smash into Gigan’s head, embedding themselves around (And some of them in) that glaring scarlet eye.

Three seconds later, they all detonate simultaneously, triggering the aforementioned shower of gore.

As the cyborg falls back, clutching at its wounded face, the MIE has already learned from before not to make the mistake of engaging Gigan in melee combat if possible. So, with that, the mech fires twin rays of gravitational energy at its foe from its shoulder spines...

OOC: Brutal? You haven't seen anything yet.

Gigan screeched in agony as the beams danced on its cold hide, covering the monster in a cloud of black and gray smoke. Seconds went by after the beams stopped, and no movement could be seen in the black cloud. The M.I.E reared its head back, roaring in victory, but as the head came back down, a long, silvery object thrust itself out of the smoke.

The roar was reduced to screech as the tentacle violently pushed its way down the robot's throat. The arms of the machine reached up, gripping the tentacle, and Gigan's form, bleeding the translucent fluid, walked out of the inferno. The screech that came from M.I.E's maw transformed into a cry of pure pain as the tentacle formed two spikes on each side, each spike exploding from the sides of the mech's throat, a gush of black fluid following.

The M.I.E fell to the ground, gurgling on its own fluids. The tentacle began to move up and down, almost in a rape fashion, but the spikes did the most damage as they tore strips of armor off of the robot from the inside out. After seconds of this, the spikes retracted and the tentacle lashed out of M.I.E's throat, covered in black fluid.

The mech fell to its hands and knees, followed by falling to its side, clutching its throat. Gigan screeched in anger once more as both hands formed blades...and it began to slash at the down mech.
