Okay, now THIS is a close one. It pretty much goes without saying that The Stranger has a huge range advantage, but that's kinda negated by the fact that he likes to get up in his opponent's face. So basically, this seems like it's gonna pretty much be a T&C fight with a few close-range beams thrown in. 'Course, those beams really aren't gonna do much to Tortonne's shell. Tortonne's a physical brute as well, so he can smack Stranger around pretty good and even ram his fist into the alien's torso given the chance.
Gonna side with Tortonne.

Yeah another real close one, but given Tortonne gets to close the energy bolts will soften him up and then the energy pulse can be nasty. Still though The Stranger loves to get in close and rip his foe apart. I see Stranger coming out of this one just given his ranged abilities and the pulse as well.

Tortonne's shell was able to repel all manner of physical assaults with ease. If the Stranger wants to get in close, it won't help him any, as Tortonne can just shrug off most of the damage, not to mention his brute strength and claws are gonna put some serious hurt on the alien dragon.
Admitedly, the Stranger's weapons can cause some damage, but I don't think it's going to slow Tortonne down enough to make a difference.

Yeah but you gotta see though is that The Strangers' hide is very resiliant to physical attacks and if given The Stranger gets a some deadly hits in with his very powerful tail it could then break the shell open and be vulnerable to The Stranger then just rip him apart and decimate with his powerful energy beam.
The Stranger in a close bout.

I think Tortonne can beat the Stranger, that shell of his will protect him from most of the Stranger's attacks. No doubt that this will end up being a T&C match. The Stranger may be able to fly, but he seems to like getting up close which in this case is a bad thing since Tortonne is a physical powerhouse. Tortonne may not win this battle easily due to the Stranger being able to fly and firing beams, but when he gets ahold of the Stranger, it's game over. Tortonne ftw.

Des, You still are underestimating Stranger's strength, power and and the deadly tail. Be it that this will be close combat. But as I said Tortonne gets too close. The energy pulse will do some damage.

Des, You still are underestimating Stranger's strength, power and and the deadly tail. Still? That was my first post in this thread. Stranger didn't show much of his strength nor did he use his deadly tail on KG in your demo battle. The only T&C attacks he ever did was slamming into KG and slashing the right head's neck. After that, he stopped with the T&C and went with the beams and he blasted KG with his energy beam twice.

Yeah, Hence he is pretty much balanced he prefers both. And if you actually read my demo he did plenty of beams so he was balanced. And in this fight it would be no different because he would simply just use his ranged advantage and then go for the kill.

Problem is he used all of his beams at close range, which kinda negates the advantage of them being ranged weapons.

Close? The energy beam when fired in the begining was well over 800 meters. Probably should have put the distance down. It should be simple to know that Stranger is balanced at Both Long to Close Range.
