With no time for a witty comeback, GODzilla pumps out pure, concussive energy through his entire body, sending Darklore reeling back with an energy pulse before he can bring the deadly weapon back down.
Picking himself back up, GODzilla keeps his eyes on the God slayer. That last attack was indeed quite painful. "I'm going to crush you Darklore." was all he communicated before emitting an energy blast from his maw...

"Gods much greater than you have said that many times before." the dark one responded as the beam collided with his chest, making him step back before retaliating with two blasts of his Shadow Lightning.
The bolts of evil energy exploded on both GODzilla's face and chest. The dinosaur-mutant-God stepped back and shouted as small chunks of flesh rained to the Earth below. Darklore then fired his Shadow Beam.

Putting his arms in a cross between his face and the Shadow Beam, GODzilla braced himself as the blast pushed him back and burned away at his forearms.
Pushing the pain out of his mind, GODzilla ran towards his target, Darklore, stiffening his fingers and stabbing them into his gut before forcing them upwards, ripping into him as he went.
With Darklore staggering back, GODzilla fired a beam from his maw, hoping to do more damage...

Darklore stepped back and barked "This again!?" He shouted as he steadied himself. GODzilla's spines flashed with majestic energy before the God Slayer smashed his right leg forward and threw his mace as if it were a boomerang.
As the beam of nuclear might ripped through GODzilla's jaws, the mace collided with it just as it escaped the mouth.
A colossal explosion sored sky high before the God fell back with smoke and flames spewing forth from its snarling snout. The jaws were unable to move, however, thanks to the mace that was now surging its jaws with demonic energy from loosing contact with Darklore.
As foam began to leak from the saurian's jaws, Darklore walked over and placed a foot on his chest and then pulled the mace free. GODzilla's hating eyes looked on as Darklore's jaw-covered hand opened up and prepared to fire a blast of his Shadow Beam at his skull.

Using his long, muscular tail, GODzilla tripped up Darklore's legs, avoiding a direct hit with the Darkness energy and giving him a glancing shot instead.
Twirling back to his feet with a speed that belied his bulk, GODzilla surveyed his surroundings, and plots. He's been to this city before, in another dimension. And more often then not, the same city of a dimension is built the same. Right down to where power lines are placed and people live.
And there's one thing he remembers about his previous visit to this city: There's a VERY large gas main nearby...in fact, judging from what's left of the landmarks...Darklore is right on top of it.
The Atlantian ruler smiles as the God slayer stands back up. GODzilla charges his beam, and Darklore braces himself.
But GODzilla isn't aiming for Darklore.
He unleashes the power from his maw, the beam surging forth and slamming into the ground below Darklore. The destructive energy strikes the gas main...and a horrific explosion consumes Darklore and everything around him.
A raging fire and the smoke it billows obscures the scene, and GODzilla cannot make out if Darklore has been destroyed...but he doubts it.
From afar though, he hears whimpering. Heading to the source, he sees a mother clutching her infant child. The two are trapped, and will be consumed by the fire within a few minutes. Feeling guilt over putting them in this predicament, GODzilla reaches down and scoops up the ground they were on, saving the two.
"Be not frightened, humans. I mean you no harm. Allow me to make amends for my actions."
Clutching the two in his hand, GODzilla opens a portal to his own dimension, and sends them through, to Atlantis. "Behold your new home."
After closing the portal, GODzilla gets an idea....but he can't pull it off now. Instead, he waits to see if Darktide has survived the explosion.

The furious fire and churning smoke made it seem as if Darklore was dead, after centuries of killing, he may have been killed himself, but the truth wouldn't be so nice. As the flames spread out further, a dark figure rose up like the dead. Its empty eye sockets on its mask flashed crimson once as he watched GODzilla save the mortals.
"Weak and pathetic.... Like us.... You don't deserve life.... Like us." The one and the many said one after another.
GODzilla's heroic eyes glared at the twisted titan as he rose up his jawed hand. The weapon wasn't aiming for GODzilla's face, but his arm. The arm and hand that was now protecting the pair.
"You see, if you'd have left them be, they might have escaped my wrath. Maybe." He snorted as the Shadow Beam was unleashed. The palm and arm exploded in crimson as the humans' flesh and bones were turned to ash.
Darklore tilted his said to the side as evil laughter began to erupt from his lifeless form.

(FYI GODzilla had sent them through the portal and had already closed it. No way could Darklore have killed them)
GODzilla looked at his damaged arm. "Nice try, God Hunter. But they are already safely in my dimension. You failed to kill them, just like you'll fail to kill me."
Surging forth, GODzilla stabbed his hand into Darklore's side, and hoisted him up, using his enhanced power to lift him with ease. He then tossed him toward a cropping of decaying buildings, making sure to let an energy blast follow him, hoping to do damage as soon as Darklore landed.

Sadly for GODzilla, Darklore's body went hollow just as he landed. While the buildings turned to dust and debris, the energy beam exploded harmlessly on the ground, making the God yell in frustration. As the fire flew upward, Darklore tumble rolled to the side and fired his Shadow Beam and Shadow Bolts at the same time.
The three beams ripped across GODzilla's body, making the mighty deity fall back as three separate explosions rattled his scaly body. As GODzilla lay stunned, Darklore lifted up his mace, the mace that was ready to make Absolute Darkness once again.

(Shadow Beam AND Shadow Bolts? Ain't that two attacks?)
GODzilla watched as darkness consumed all that was around him. "This again." he muttered in a displeased tone. The darkness that Darklore's mace created was so absolute that not even the piercing light of his beam could create a pocket of light in the dark.
GODzilla closed his eyes. No need to keep them open, just shut them off and rely on his other senses. It won't be hard to find Darklore. Creatures of their size aren't exactly lightweights. His every step will create a small tremor that the Atlantian ruler could hone in on. He just has to wait.......
There he is! Darklore's moving....around....to the back, must be looking to strike at his back. Wait until he's closer...closer....just a little bit more....NOW!
GODzilla whips around and lashes out with his jaws, clamping right down on Darklore's throat. With a violent twist of his neck, he rips a large chunk away from the God Slayer. Had Darklore a skeletal system, his neck would have been snapped and he would have dropped dead.
As it was, GODzilla merely had to be satisfied with the chunk of rubbery flesh that was already turning to blackened ash in his mouth.
GODzilla considers firing his beam, but in the darkness, he might miss. An energy pulse would be more apropos....

(OOC: Combination attack. No different then doing an all-out assault. Talking it over with IR and he says they're legal, as long as you don't spam them. I guess that should be addressed in the rules...)
The energy pulse ripped through the darkness, but GODzilla failed to hear a cry, or even feel a tremor from where the dark one could have fallen... It was as if the being didn't feel it at all.
Despite the blackness, GODzilla's eyes quickly snapped open in response after figuring out what had happened. Darklore went hollow... AGAIN. He stepped back, but no sooner then he did, he felt a sharp pain rip through his chest. He felt the blood start to flow down his gut, and then his legs lift off the ground. A muffled cry of pain managed to escape his snout as he was hoisted into the air by one of Darklore's spears.
"You can't hear what makes no sound." The demon replied to what GODzilla had done earlier. GODzilla coughed before he felt his body being turned and then thrown off of the spear, he landed some distance away. Darklore remained tall in the darkness, his body still hollow.

GODzilla has a problem. A real problem. Darklore is still hollow, and as long as he is, GODzilla can't harm him. The only thing he can think of to do is to try a very dangerous gambit that leaves it's success entirely to chance.
Counting on Darklore being able to see through the pitch blackness, GODzilla continues to lay right where he is, occasionally writhing in pain a bit. If he's lucky, Darklore will come in to finish him off, and let his guard down by becoming solid again. He won't know at all if he has, as his hollow form won't make tremors like his solid form does.
GODzilla waits...using all his senses other then sight to try and detect even the slightest inkling that Darklore has become solid again....dead silence...no scent...no tremors.
Wait! A slight rustle, just about a hundred meters or so away...and he feels a slight brush of air...that's it!! When he goes solid, the air that was occupying the space he was at is pushed away to make room for his solid form, and that air just got pushed toward GODzilla.
Opening his maw, GODzilla takes a leap of faith and unleashes an intense blast toward where he thinks Darklore is...
Success!!
He can't see it, but he feels the beam strike a target, pushing it away, small explosions wrecking it's body before a final explosion engulfs it in fire. He also hears a groan as it strikes
The beam had nailed Darklore right in his gut at near point-blank range, burning his flesh away from his body and throwing him back a considerable distance.
Standing back up again, GODzilla unleashes another blast at the area he estimates Darklore landed...

The beam smashed and GODzilla listened cautiously as an explosion lifted sky high. While he couldn't see the ball of fire, he could tell where it was. It either missed Darklore or the God Slayer had went hollow again...
Before GODzilla's jaws hand a chance to close, he suddenly felt a splitting pain rip open its jaws. Its soft, moist flesh of its tongue, gums, and roof of its maw burst into flames and he flew backward. Not far away, with his body smoking, Darklore had fired both of its Shadow Bolts into GODzilla's maw.
The deity fell back, coughing and gagging as blood spilt across its frame. Darklore stood still, admiring his work. He wanted GODzilla to see what had happened...
He lifted his mace and the darkness began to subside into it, leaving the sun, or what could penetrate the thick clouds, flood over the area. GODzilla could now not just feel its blood... but see...
It maw was wide open and cocked to the side. No bones were exposed, but something must have happened, either a muscle tear or some sort of fracture. Blood and gore spilt from each corner of its maw and its tongue looked like it went through a meat grinder....

Groaning in pain, GODzilla grabbed his jaw on both sides and braced himself.
CRACK!
Setting his jaw back where it needed to be, GODzilla roared loudly. That was NOT pleasant.
Rivets of blood continued to escape his body from the wounds in his jaw. His tongue was ruined, it hung uselessly in his jaw. What was the point of keeping it at this point? He didn't use it to speak, nor did he need it for tasting things. He wasn't here in this dimension to sample it's cuisine, and once he got back to his dimension, all damage done to his body would be instantly healed.
With that, looking directly at Darklore, GODzilla reached into his mouth...and ripped out the remainder of his own tongue. His next move was simply to charge a beam and run in at Darklore.
Just as the ruler of Atlantis had hoped, Darklore put his arms up, in hopes of blocking the attack. But GODzilla threw his head to the side and let his beam loose, the destructive energies striking several hollowed out buildings and turning them to dust.
The beam was never meant for Darklore. It's entire purpose was to cauterize the many wounds in his mouth and blast away and straggling remnants of his tongue...and to expose Darklore's gut.
The beam ends just as GODzilla comes within range, and he brings his massive foot with it's powerful clawed toes right up into Darklore, stabbing them in just below the chest and then putting his weight down into them, causing them to rake three deep gashes downward, ending just above the pelvis.
Darklore roars out and staggers backward, as GODzilla comes down with his claw, looking to cut into him some more...

Darklore bellows in fury as the claws come down again and rips his rubber-like flesh to ribbon. The chunks that fell to the ruined streets burnt to ash as GODzilla snarled in his own style of hatred. The legs began to pull away, but no sooner than the claws left Darklore's body, the God Slayer's mace came crashing down...
On the deity's right knee...
A sickening cry of sheer pain burst from GODzilla's maw as the bone mace met his knee. A geyser of blood lifted from the leg as the bone was cracked and injured. GODzilla brought his leg up, screaming in pain, as he rocked back and forth...

Clutching his knees, GODzilla knows he's hurt. There's only one thing he can do in this situation to ease the pain:
"(Inhales sharply) ahhhhhhhhhhh"

Putting most of his weight on his other leg, GODzilla stands back up, careful not to press hard on his injured knee. Darklore looks to be readying another attack. Well, hopefully, what works for the goose will work for the gander. Opening his maw, GODzilla fires a brilliant white beam right into Darklore's left knee, the black flesh stripping off and turning to dust.
The mere impact is enough to send him to the ground. Whether he can stand back up on it with no problem is yet to be seen. But hopefully, GODzilla can prevent him from even trying with another beam....
