Description: Cobra appears to be an enourmous constrictor snake. However, his head is designed more like a monitor lizard's. The lower jaw is mechanical, as are plates covering the eyes, and the lenses where the eyes would be. Armor plates are bolted to his spine. There are five holes on each side of his neck, from which thin metal tendrils can emerge. The tail ends in a semi-retractable blade. Most of the additional cybernetics are internl, such as ones that boost his strength, as well as augments for the armor scales which cover his body (designed like a rattlesnake's). Cobra features the coloration and body patterns of a Diamondback rattler.
Offensive Powers:
1. High Frequency Fangs- Cobra has two sets of high frequency blades where his fangs would normally be (one pair on top, another on the bottom). The blades can retract against the inside of his mouth like many venomous snakes. They are ideal for slicing through armor, and although this makes him easier to dislodge, it is not without consequences, as the blades will slice through flesh on their way out as well.
2. Tail Blade- Also a high frequency blade that Cobra uses to devastating effect.
3. Coiling- Cobra, being essentially a massive constrictor snake, can crush many enemies by coiling around them, as well as immobilize them.
4. Venom Cannon- Cobra has a launcher in his mouth that can fire off three kinds of projectiles.
The first is a glob of acid, with moderate range and high intensity. However, the acid only has a small area of effect.
The second is a glob of a sticky, tar-like substance, useful for blinding foes and clogging up guns, rockets, etc.
The third is a small stream of potent hemotoxin that causes intense hemmoraging and bleeding in a foe. Cobra is immune to this venom.
Defensive Powers:
1. Thick Hide- Cobra's scales are augmented with a titanium alloy, making them damage resistant to physical strikes (particularly blunt and slashing trauma) and heat.
2. Hood Shield- The tendrils that emerge from his neck create an energy barrier between them that blocks energized projectiles. Picture Irys' energy sails to get an idea of how these look. Does not block physical weaponry.
3. Vision Modes- Cobra can see in the infra-red as well as normal spectrums.
