Intel had pegged a number of incoming signatures focusing around the city of Miami and CEEHQ had dispatched the upgraded Darktide to the location. The black behemoth shrieked in low over the skyline before coming to a halt. He would wait here, between the buildings, cloaked as necesary to avoid detection. Surprise was a key element, and with no expected back-up, he would need all the help he could get...

The first of the monsters to converge on the area appeared, lumbering into view from behind a cluster of buildings. Scython stepped into the open, fists clenched and eyes narrowed. He had traveled a long way to get here, and he was very, very hungry. He sensed other monsters nearby... precious mana waiting to be harvested. Running his tongues over his teeth, Scython paused as the sounds of approaching kaiju grew louder. He stood his ground and waited for them to appear...

Lead by Godzilla 54' on a psychic leash, Spirit Godzilla burst forth from waters near Miami. His loud, bell-like roar announced his presense to all in the area. Godzilla 54' stayed in the bay as Spirit Godzilla walked further inland, wrecking a few warehouses on the way.
Spirit Godzilla saw the kaiju Scython a ways away, and bellowed out his challenge. He, nor Godzilla 54' were aware of the presence of the mighty Darktide yet...

Suchodon swims in and comes ashore. He'd been told that he'd have a partner in this battle, but HQ failed to tell him who. So he randomly picks Spirit Godzilla and walks over next to him.

Scython takes a step back and snarls- two on one? The space behemoth snarled, realizing that the odds were seemingly not in his favor. No matter, though- the devourer of worlds had faced more foes than this before. Clenching his powerful fists and stomping towards the two kaiju, Scython bellowed, accepting their challenge readily.
He fixed his white eyes on Suchodon, deciding to attack him first- but then, suddenly, the identity of the other monster donned on him. As the dinosaur stood prepared to fight, Scython saw it's jagged spines, and memories of flame and bloodshed flooded into his mind.
Godzilla...
Spirit Godzilla flew backwards, crashing through a nearby building and sliding across the street, kicking up a trail of debris and dust. Scython lowered his fist, revealing livid white eyes brimming with rage. The black behemoth roared furiously and marched towards his fallen foe, claws crackling with energy. Hungry, vengeful, and focused, the muscular space monster shoved right past Suchodon and homed in on Spirit Godzilla...

Spirit Godzilla was taken aback by the passion with which this creature fought, but it only made him angry, and increased his own need for battle, a need he planned to satiate.
Rearing back up to his full height, Spirit Godzilla hit the incoming Scython with a powerful Spirit Beam, knocking the alien back and damageing him with an explosion before his bulk slammed back down to the Earth.
A roar escaped Spirit Godzilla's maw. He stormed in and looked to bite down on Scython with his triple rows of curved teeth...

Darktide had been waiting, watching the combatants arrive. Intel had forwarded some important data regarding Scython first. The mana-draining beast was little threat to him personally, as his mechanical systems did not generate anything he could use. However, this could also be used to the machine's advantage.
Spirit Godzilla...another Godzilla, different, yet more than likely similar to the other members of its species that had appeared over the years. But the final monster...Suchodon. Perhaps an alternate version of the one from his own timeline, as it appeared to be siding with Spirit Godzilla. But to save the city, and even the odds, Darktide would have to do the unthinkable, and team up with Scython, using the mana-draining monstrosity to his advantage, as well as go against his own ally.
Darktide decloaked and fired his Hyper NOVA at Suchodon, catching the saurian in the flank with a blast of superheated plasma. Suchodon howled as his body was catapulted back into a building, smashing through it with a thunderous crash. With the only warning he would give sent, Darktide focused on Spirit Godzilla as well. Numerous ports on his legs opened and fired off vollys of armor-piercing Hydra Missiles, each one aimed at Godzilla...

Since he's kinda busy laying in a pile of rubble, Suchodon is helpless to prevent the missiles from striking his ally. Once he gets up, he's surprised by what he sees. Darktide had appeared out of nowhere and attacked him! But it couldn't be the Darktide he knew, HQ would have told him if it was. Surely they weren't that incompetant. This is clearly some sort of evil doppleganger!
Suchodon launches himself at the machine, tackling it to the ground. He immediately goes to work biting and slashing at the mech's armor, with varying degrees of success. One particular swipe results in the tips of his claws piercing the armor on its side, giving him the leverage needed to do some real damage. Placing his other hand on the machine's chest to hold it in place, he rips upward, tearing a trio of gashes into the side of its abdomen.
With Darktide down for the moment, Suchodon turns his attention to his other opponent. Upon seeing that Spirit Godzilla has clamped down on Scython's shoulder, Suchodon decides to join in and goes for the alien's thigh.

Scython howls with rage as Suchodon clamps his jaws down on his leg- the second monster now attached to him. Reaching down, he shoved one hand under the monster's top jaw, forcing his fingers under the front of the snout and digging his claws into the roof of the mouth. With his other hand, he siezed Godzilla by the head, the palm of his hand covering the monster's eyes as his claws sank in on the sides of his head.
The brutish space monster slammed his foot down on the ground and bellowed as his arms flexed, bulging and fighting against the strength of both his foes' jaws. With a sickly pop, the fangs pull out from his flesh, and with another burst of strength, Scython pull both monsters off. Then, with all his might, Scython heaves the two kaiju together- pulling them by the jaw and slamming both their heads together with a bone-cracking crash.
The city shakes from the impact as the two allied monsters slump to the ground, jaws slack and skulls bruised and bleeding. His arms and shoulders throbbing from use, Scython flexes and roars triumphantly.
Making a fist with his right hand, Scython narrows his eyes and prepares to deliver a powerful blow to the back of Godzilla's neck...

Spirit Godzilla howled as Scython's powerful fist slammed into his skull, filling his world with pain. From the bay, Godzilla '54 snarled. This one was very strong, perhaps even stronger then his Spirit Godzilla...at the moment. As the battle wears on, not even this creature will be able to match Spirit Godzilla's raw power!
Godzilla stands back up, his white, hollow eyes directed right at his tormentor. He opens his maw, and spews out, with all the anger and hate he can, a powerful Spirit Beam that collides with the beast's neck, hitting him with force enough to send him off his feet and crashing into a nearby building, toppling it on top of him.
With that foe subdued for a moment, Godzilla '54 influences Spirit Godzilla's attention to the machine. It's clearly quite powerful, and must be dealt with. Godzilla thunders toward the mighty mech and swings his thick, heavy tail at it...

But the lumbering beast is no match for Darktide, who jets to the side, half turns, and fires a twin burst from his Impact Cannons. The micro-nuclear warheads detonate on Spirit Godzilla's flank, spinning the beast around and blasting free chunks of armored flesh.
Darktide then takes to the skies, well out of Suchodon's reach. He would rather not have to fight him, but it appears that it isn't the same Suchodon he knows. With that, he opens fire with both the Hyper NOVA and Ion Linear Cannon at Spirit Godzilla...

As the beams streak toward Spirit Godzilla, a nearby skyscraper suddenly topples over directly into their path, intercepting them. The falling building effectively stops the Hyper NOVA beam, but the shot from the Ion Linear Cannon simply punches through and hits Spirit Godzilla anyway.
Once the dust settles, it's revealed that Suchodon was what caused the building to topple. Having seen the real Darktide in action many times, he knew what was coming and had attempted to shield his ally from the attack.
Knowing there's little he can do about Darktide at the moment, Suchodon turns his attention back to Scython. With a roar he charges at the alien and clamps his jaws around its throat. He pulls Scython to the ground and puts a foot on its chest. He squeezes hard with his jaws, allowing his venom to seep deep into the flesh. After several seconds, he releases his grip and steps off of Scython before trying to rip its belly open with his claws.

Sycthon rolls away, letting the crocodile's claws hit the ground. A sudden surge of naussea hit him- he gagged and winced, but got up. He had fought through much worse before.
Staggering towards his attacker, Scython grabbed Suchodon's snout with one hand and lifted his head, pointing the overgrown gator's head upward. As the monster struggled to pull it's head free, Scython lunged forward and returned the favor, biting down on his opponents throat. But while Suchodon's bite had injected, Scython's extracted.
Green bolts of energy crackled through Scython's body as he drained mana from his enemy. Gulping down a sizeable amount of energy, Scython released his grip and sent his foe stumbling back as he shoved him away. Weakened from the draining, Suchodon lost his balance and fell to the ground with a soft THUD.
Satisfied for the moment, Scython turned to face Spirit Godzilla. Anticipating another blast from the monster's breath, he silently prepared to raise a shield with the mana he'd stolen...
