Scorp bursts out from underneath the desert, sensing a new meal. He eagerly awaits for his opponent to arrive.

Gorgonoxis was on the prowl, having tacked potential prey through this desert wasteland. The ancient constructs of mankind were old, but nowhere near as old as her. And now that she could see her prey, a massive scorpion of colossal proportions. He would fall and thus sate her hunger.
Gorgonoxis flexxed her claws in anticipation of a good meal.

Scorp starts to slowly circle Gorgonoxis, the massive space scorpion waits for the precise moment to attack the giant theraspid. Scorp continues circling until Gorgonoxis finally loses sight of the scorpion. Scorp lunges at the theraspid, landing right by it's side where the space scorpion then stabs Gorgonoxis in her side with his mighty stinger.
Scorp starts to inject the creature with a hemotoxin, the venom starts to cause some discoloration around the wound, a sign that the venom is working. Inside Gorgonoxis's body, the red blood cells and tissue in the surrounding area were being destroyed by Scorp's hemotoxin. Gorgonoxis starts to moan a little due to the venom's effect. Scorp then lifts the therapsid up with his tail and flings her towards a small pyramid.

As painful as the venom is, it is nothing compared to some of her old war wounds. With that, she twists in the air, lands feet first on the pyramid, her claws digging into the stone, and springs off, slamming onto Scorp's back. the titanic arachnid is able to hold his stance, but is helpless as she clamps on his stinger, just below the pointy part. Her fangs sink deep into the chitinous exoskeleton and draw forth blood in small rivulets.
She yanks bac on the weapon, repositioning her feet to avoid the retaliation of pincers, before digging her talons into his tail and trying to tear it apart...

Scorp flings Gorgonoxis backwards with his tail, causing the theraspid to crash into a pyramid. Gorgonoxis moaned in pain, not so much by the toss but by something else. Gorgonoxis didn't realize something. Scorp's blood is acidic. The effects of the acid was starting to kick in, slowly corroding Gorgonoxis's teeth.
Scorp taking the chance, starts to fire a barrage of barbs at Gorgonoxis, hoping to inflict further damage.

Gorgonoxis realizes that she is in over her head, but definately not out of the fight yet. She leaps and rolls, the barbs smashing harmlessly intot he ground where she had been moments ago. The mutant Gorgonopsid prowled around, crouched low to the ground as the two circle one another.
Suddenly, she charges, although it is merely a feint. She darts back to the side suddenly and slams her paws into Scorp's face, lifting the beast up with one paw as she rears up on her hind legs, pushing at the chin and slashing at the exposed belly with the other paw. The acidic blood splashes on the sand, smoking holes through the ground.
With a titanic effort, Gorgonoxis flips Scorp over onto his back and prepares to strike again at the exposed belly.

Scorp started to twist and turn in an attempt to flip himself back into his original position. The alien scorpion manages to get back up and quickly fires a barrage of energy barbs into Gorgonoxis's face, sending her crashing right in front of the giant scorpion. Scorp then starts to spray Gorgonoxis with his webbing in an attempt to wrap up his prey.

But the mammoth therpsid is still light on her feet and kicks up a spray of sand and rocks, sending the shot wild as she scoots off like lightning. Like a giant mutant cat, she moved stealthily and came up behind Scorp before slamming both taloned paws into his back at the base of his tail, raking through armor and flesh, but disengaging quickly enough to avoid significant acid damage.
With Scorp in utter confusion from the assault, Gorgonoxis bounds to hsi flank and attempts to tackle him from the left...

Scorp starts spinning around in an attempt to spot his wily opponent and spots her leaping at him. Scorp quickly fires a stream of acid from his mouth, striking Gorgonoxis in the face, leaving an acid scar on her snout. The theraspid was knocked off course due to the scorpoion's attack and landed right beside her enemy. Scorp turns around and tries to stab Gorgonoxis in the stomach with his double jaw.

Gorgonoxis slams her paws together, claws extended, and grips the secondary jaw, tugging it towards her, even as Scorp tries to retract it. Acid runs down her hardened claws, but she is unmindful to all this and contiues pulling. A sickening pop and the sound of flesh tearing fill the air, followed by Scorp's scream, as Gorgonoxis relents. The secondary jaw hangs limp, probably not broken, but at least out of the equation for the moment.
Before he can recover, Gorgonoxis lunges, ready to bite down on Scorp's arm...

Scorp allows Gorgonoxis to chomp down on his arm for he has a few tricks up his sleeve. The scorpion quickly retracts his second jaw while his enemy is preoccupied his arm. Then, Scorp's stinger quickly strikes Gorgonoxis's right hind leg, injecting it with his hemotoxin. The deadly venom, started to slowly break down the muscle tissue and destroy the red blood cells in the theraspid's leg, hindering the creature's speed and mobility.
Gorgonoxis quickly lets go of the scorpion's arm, reducing the amount of acid that may have leaked into her mouth from the bite. Scorp has learned that his enemy is a fast and mobile being. So in order to defeat it, he must slow it down. And what better way to slow it down than by damaging the muscles within it's powerful legs. This will make his prey easier to catch. Scorp starts to shoot it's webbing at Gorgonoxis, hoping to ensnare it's prey.

Even as Scorp tries to ensnare Gorgonoxis, the mutant therpsid has a few tricks of her own up her proverbial sleeve. Instead of trying to leap on her injured leg, she rolls to the side, taking the force of the roll with her shoulder. Scorp is still in range, so she lashes out, digging her talons into the armored exoskeleton of the pincer arm.
She drags Scorp off balance, toppling the mammoth arachnid onto its side before lunging with her massive saber fangs bared, ready to pierce the beast's flank...
