Amalgam Kaiju

Just a little something weird I thought of the other day. Based in part on the Amalgam Comics series, what if you were to merge one of your kaiju with another kaiju, yours or another persons? What might that look like?

So far I've toyed with the idea of a Riptide/Magmire hybrid, where Magmire has the ability to assimilate machinery as well as other inorganic matter. Looks pretty cool in my head.

Anyone else every thought about something like this before?

Kind of. The sequel to Kaiju Uprising is going to feature a very large number of "amalgam" kaiju...whenever the hell I get around to finishing the first one to get to it. Other then that, I dunno, I'll have to give it some thought.

Recently I thought up of a Silvagon/Goldras style thing similar to Tyrant Godzilla. Only thought of it because of them appearing in a new Ultraman movie and since their names are of similar "quality" so to speak.

Amalgams are such a nifty concept...
