Aiya starts to storm in, hoping to catch Riptide off-guard, but gets another idea. Switching his vision to infrared, Aiya peers into the forest of buildings, trying to get a lock on Riptide's heat signature. Sure enough, he's able to lock in.
Using his palm blast to destroy a building in the way, Aiya takes out his Noisy Lil' Bastard, gives it a charge, and fires a beam of destructive force, right into Riptide's flank, the force slamming him into a nearby building, which collapses on him.
Riptide is disabled, but only for a moment, Aiya must act quickly. Seeing the mech's shoulder is exposed, he stabs his forearm blade in with all his might, right in the area where it meets the cannon resting on it.
Springing back, Aiya takes out a face tracker missile, and as Riptide rights itself, lets the explosive device go, it's trackers homing right in on Riptide's face. The face is temporarily obscured by fire and smoke, as Aiya smiles, hoping the mech's eyes serve as it's primary visual functions, and damaging them will hamper his ability to see.
Before the smoke even clears, Aiya fires off a shot of his Sub atomic discombobulator...

Riptide counters with a blast from his Super NOVA, using thermal and other sensors to track Aiya while he re-routes the visual circuits. The beams flash and lock in mid-air, as Riptide fires both ANECs at once, combining their power with the Super NOVA to force the blast back into Aiya's face with a massive explosion.
Clearly, the alien in quite tenacious, but then again, so is Riptide. The machine rises from the rubble and fires again with the Super NOVA, searing a blast across Aiya's chest and keeping him down as he advances. As Riptide closes in, he fires both Electroshock Anchors into Aiya's chest, pumping milllions of volts of electricity through the alien mercenary, hopefully causing enough internal damage to keep his regen busy for awhile, before retracting the cables.
Aiya's smoking form lies at his feet, as the machine raises one leg and prepares to crush Aiya underfoot...

Using his enhanced power to stop the foot as it comes in, Aiya shows superhuman, or rather, superkaiju effort as he pushes the foot away, digging his hands into the durable armor, and making a final push that forces Riptide away.
Jumping up to his feet again, Aiya thrusts his forearm blade into the mech's gut again, and the slashes at one of the cannons on it's shoulder, hoping to damage it.
For his coup de grace, Aiya grabs Riptide's head in his hand, and lets out a palm blast right there, the point-blank explosion damaging Aiya's gauntlet, but doing far worse to Riptide himself.
Breathing heavily, Aiya stabs at his mechanized enemy again...

Riptide's vision blurs and flickers, preventing him from properly countering, as Aiya's blade sinks into his flank. However, rather than let his alien foe hold the upper hand, he stabs into Aiya's gut with one of his Plasma Cutters before punching with the other hand, leaving a smoking, cauterized wound in the mercenary's body and knocking him back.
Aiya was slowing down. Riptide was not. He was not hindered by organic concepts such as pain and blood loss. And that was his biggest advantage. Riptide fired the Electroshock Anchors into Aiya's chest again, surging a large amount of electricity through his body. Aiya smoked and jittered, crying out in pain, as Riptide retracted the cables and advanced.
A quick jab to the gut doubled Aiya over, while the uppercut following it and the kick to the chest sent him sprawling back into the rubble of the city. Riptide towered above his fallen enemy and took aim once again with the Super NOVA, readying to end Aiya for good this time...

Pain rippling through his body, Aiya saw the powerful beam being unleashed from it's cannon. It would be a fatal shot if it hit him, as defenseless as he was in his current predicament. Thankfully, years of fighting had honed his instincts to protect him in these kinds of situations.
Bringing his right arm up, the beam of the Super NOVA cannon impacts his crystalline-coated shield, it's energy being absorbed, bounced around, amplified, and then reflected right back at Riptide, striking him in the right shoulder.
Aiya smiles, then slumps back down. This was the problem with fighting mechs. Aiya was indeed getting tired. And he was in pain. a lot of it. While the damage he'd inflicted on Riptide was indeed severe, Riptide wasn't suffering from aching muscles or surging pain.
Luckily, there was something Aiya could do about that last part, though he didn't much care for it. He tapped the device on the back of his skull, and within seconds, endorphins surge into his system, and his brain's pain receptors are deadened.
Smiling, Aiya stands back up. He has to be careful not release to many endorphins. This will calm him down, which will de-activate the nanobots in his blood. They've been doing a vital job of closing up the more grievous wounds he's been enduring, and he doesn't want to lose them.
Taking back out his big boomer, Aiya goes back on the offensive, a wave of 10 missiles slamming into Riptide and forcing him to stumble back. Seeing the moderate success he had with the first face-tracker missile, Aiya hopes a second will further the damage to Riptide's vision. Tossing it towards him, this device mirrors the motions of it's predecessor, honing right in on Riptide's head and slamming into his face, the explosion of fire obscuring his vision once again,
Taking this as another opportunity, Aiya runs in and leaps at Riptide with a flying kick...

I'm very sorry for the delay. Internet connection has been spotty as hell lately, but I'll try to finish up all this.-
Riptide staggered back under the assault, with Aiya's foot putting him near the brink of toppling over. But the machine held his ground and retaliated, grabbing Aiya by the throat before slamming him down again, shattering pavement with the impact. Aiya struggled to return to anupright position, but a quick punch to the throat caused him to wheeze and cough in agony.
Riptide lifted one heavy foot and smashed it down into Aiya's face, sending more blood flying as he left hsi battered opponent. It seemed like Riptide had left the combat area, but nothing could have been further from the truth. The machine had simply decided to put some distace between the two, as he took aim with all three energy guns and opened fire once again...
