Carcharius takes the blow, his reaction times a little too slow to avoid it, as it leaves another gash in his hide. His regeneration is hampered by the sheer amount of damage he has sustained, and his own great stamina is flagging. But Aiya will be his next meal, as he was denied Godzilla.
He lunges forward, dislodging the weapon as he clamps his jaws shut on Aiya's arm, crushing and lacerating tissue and bone with ease as a multitude of fangs pierce his flesh. As the alien juggernaut seeks to shake off his aggrssor, Carcharius digs in with both talons and slams his feet into Aiya, putting the entire bulk of his weight on the monster as well as scratching him up.
Aiya pitches forward as Carcharius releases and rolls, before springing back up and slashing downward at Aiya's now exposed back. Rather than let the monster get up though, he sits there and prepares to tear further into hsi backside...

Aiya yowls in pain as Carcharius' claws once again slash into his flesh, and quickly rolls over, the slathering jaws of the shark-monster hovering over him. Aiya flicks a switch on one of his devices, and as soon as he does, his raw power increases several-fold, while his speed decreases equally.
With power that rivals the strongest kaiju at his command, Aiya curls his feet up before firing them like a cannon into Carcharius' jaw, sending the beast flying as his head explodes in pain from the blow.
Aiya stands back up and sends out another palm blast that greets Carcharius as he lands, adding to the pain of slamming into the ground headfirst. Aiya charges in, but takes much longer to get there thanks to the reduction in speed.
Carcharius has just started to pick himself up when a super-heated strike from Aiya's mohawk slicer laces into his back, sending a shower of cooked flesh to the ground.
Carcharius once again is sent to the ground, and Aiya unholsters his sub-atomic discombobulator.
"You played a good game Flipper." he says with a smirk "But it's night-night time now." Aiya aims at the shark's head...

Carcharius roars in fury as the alien weapon strikes him in the chest, but he refues to relent. Blind to all but the scent of blood and the sight of Aiya, the shark mutant lunges forward again, clamping his jaws on Aiya's outstretched forearm. He yanks back, pitching Aiya forward to the ground, as Carcharius plants a foot on his shoulder and holds the arm, stretching it to it's limits.
Blood runs on rivulets down Aiya's arm, and his skin is stretched to the max, inciting tears in the flesh and clothing alike. Carcharius then uses his tail to repeatedly strike Aiya's exposed back like a scorpion, the bladed fin stabbing into the flesh there.
Carcharius contiues to put pressure on Aiya's shoulder as he chews and slathers all over the alien, trying to bite the hand off...

Aiya grunts, very thankful that the gauntlet on his hand offers him some protection from the powerful bite of Carcharius.
Grabbing his sword from nearby, he stabs it deep into the shark's side, activating the electrical shock as he does so, and causing the beast to let go of his hand.
Aiya assesses the gauntlet; it's been chewed up pretty bad, but can still do damage. He also looks at the cuts and slashes on his arm. The nanobots were already working their magic, stopping the bleeding. Good.
As Carcharius gets up, Aiya cocks his arm. And with his still-augmented power, slams his fist into the jaw of the shark, twisting it and sending him flying, the prongs on his gauntlet shredding flesh as he does so.
Next, he switches himself over to sacrifice power for speed, and runs in, sword brandished...

Carcharius drops low as the blade slices into his back and dorsal fins, before grasping Aiya by the ankles and yanking him off balance. Aiya collapses to the ground in surprise as the shark mutant still displays a willingness to fight, or perhaps an inability to back down.
The shark begins questing for Aiya's guts, his fangs and claws tearing into flesh with reckless abandon as he tries to grip the coils of organs. More anti-coagulant pumps through Aiya's system, halting the nanobot's ability to heal the alien.
Carcharius continues striving forward, the taste of blood overcoming any and all other senses. He will, no, he must feed...

Sorry about going AWOL for so long...
Carcharius is mangled beyond effective fighting capacity thanks to Aiya's timely powerup.

Solranous and Lunarous finally return to the battlefield after an unexpected vaction, and gape at the pain wrought on both combatants.
Lunarous nods to Aiya, "Nice work roughing him up, you've evened up the playing field for your group."
Solranous also nods, "To replace Carcharius, Riptide will arrive at the new field."
Lunarous motions to Aiya, "Follow us."
the two dragons then take flight for the new arena.

The two dragons land in a thankfully evacuated New York. Solranous notes Aiya's arrival, and then looks into the sky,
"OmegaRex, post the intro for Riptide, and then battle will resume as normal with Aiya beginning the fight."

Aiya's rather sudden arrival in New York would have been a really big problem on any other day, but as it stood, the city was empty and Riptide happened to be in the area. The mammoth machine landed in Central Park, giving him a clear shot at anything around.
He knew a monster was present and braced himself for confrontation...

Taking note of his new surroundings, Aiya spies the powerful Mech some distance away.
"Computer," Aiya says, tapping into his communicator "Target, 10 Kumas by direction X, acknowledge."
"Target aquired"
"Begin tactical scanning and relay information to me, suggest hacking into global network. Oh, but before you do all that...give 'em a little wake-up call, if you catch my drift."
The cannons adorning Aiya's ship hum to life, and one in particular begins charging up, taking aim at Riptide. The defender of the people sees the blast coming, but too late to be able to dodge out of the way. The blast strikes Riptide right in his chest and sends him careening across the landscape, finally landing among a pile of former buildings.
Riptide, after several moments, began to pull himself up to a sitting position, but before he could even do that, he was set upon by Aiya, who jumped on top of him and stabbed his sword into the mech as he did so, sending tremendous electrical surges coursing though his opponent.
Smoke pours from several points of the machine as Aiya pulls his sword out. "Hi...I'm Aiya...pleased to kill you." he says as his positions his palm a small ways away from Riptide's face, unleashing a palm blast right into it, then jumping off of him.
"All right guys, who's next, I took care of this loser, now send me something decent!"
Aiya moves toward the still-downed mech, and positions his boot over it's head, menacingly. "Meh...might as well finish the job..."

As Aiya prepared to strike, Riptide opened his mouth and fired a Super NOVA into Aiya's face, blasting him away in a similar manner to what had happened to him.
Aiya was clearly no ordinary monster. He had an impressive array of weaponry, spoke English, and was definately not something to be underestimated. Still, two could play at that game. Riptide sported one of the most advanced AI systems in the business and knew how to fight, and fight well at that. If this alien wanted a war, he would give him one. The city was evacuated, so he had free reign of the place.
Riptide pulled himself out of the rubble with the aid of his boosters and stood to face Aiya. The alien was already getting to his feet, but Riptide had other plans. A quick, boost assisted dash later, and he was directly in Aiya's face with one spiked knee, driving the alien's chin up to meet a powerful left-right combination strike. Aiya already appeared to be in a wounded state, and the machine could capitalize on that.
As the blood leaked form Aiya's nostrils, Riptide grabbed a clawful of piercings in the aliens face and pulled, yanking them out with another spurt of blood and ragged flesh. Aiya screamed in pain and clutched his bleeding face, even as Riptide rocketed backwards and leveled both shoulder cannons at him, before firing them in conjunction with his Super NOVA...

Clutching his face and cursing up a blue streak at Darktide, Aiya sees the attacks screaming at him out of the corner of his eye and leaps out of the way, but not enough. The shot from one of the shoulder cannons strikes him in his knee and screws his jump over, causeing him to land hard and awkwardly.
Storming back to his feet, Aiya again touches his face where his piercings once were. Through narrowed eyes and clenched teeth, Aiya growls at Darktide.
"Naughty naughty, daddy spank."
And with that, another devastating blast from the ships cannons slams into Riptide, drilling him into the pavement and damaging him further, finally stopping once a crater big enough for Riptide to sit in had formed.
"Who's your daddy now, bitch."
Attention Aiya...Ship cannon malfunctioning, shutting down weapons systems.
"Ah, crap, I knew I should have had the cannons checked out, ah well. Whaddya got on this tin-can I'm fighting?"
Name: Riptide. Built for defense of the United States from large-scale creatures. Can absorb electrical attacks, usage of electrical sword not advisable.
"Oh, NOW you tell me?! Get me more info now, or I'll load you up with Windows Vista when I get back up there!"
At this point, Riptide id getting back up. "Oh no you don't!" Aiya screams as he brings out his Noisy lil' Bastard and nails Riptide in the right hip with it. Switching his muscle enhancer back to give him power, Aiya moves in and delivers a kick to Riptide's head, followed by two powerful punches to the chest.
Taking out his Sub-Atomic Discombobulator, Aiya aims once again at Riptide's face
"say g'night Can Opener..."

Fortunately, none of Riptide's systems malfunctioned during the previous assault, as he brough both Barrier Fields into play, deflecting the blast away from him and leaving a shimmering ripple in the air behind them. The fields dissipated, leaving Riptide still standing and Aiya a tad confused.
But no more, as twin blades of plasma energy erupted from his wrist units. Aiya's confusion turned into mingled hatred and worry, as Riptide lunged forward, swiping wild with his first swing. Aiya could easily avoid it, but it was merely a feint, drawing him inr ange of the second blade, which pierced his thigh. Red steam erupted from the wound as blood was instantly vaporized. Riptide ripped the sword out, leaving a nice cauterized gash in the alien's leg. It might help more than hamper if he couldn't regenerate, but there wasn't time to worry about that.
Riptide brought his knee up into Aiya's face, driving the spike there into the alien menace's chin, further driving Aiya back as a volley of missiles exploded across his body.
With that, Riptide took to the skies, preparing to rain destruction on Aiya with all three cannons again...

Picking himself up again, Aiya's eyes widen as he sees Riptide hovering above, his cannons trained right on him. Thinking quickly, Aiya turns on the Energy Nullifier, causing Riptide's cannons to shut off, unable to fire their energy-based attacks.
Aiya whips out his Big Boomer and fires a wave of missiles at Riptide, the sudden misfire of his cannons leaving him vulnerable. The missile's impact is sudden and effective, knocking Riptide out of the sky and causing him to plummet to the ground.
Grabbing his sword nearby, Aiya sweeps by Riptide, stabbing the sword into it's gut, taking care not to activate the electrical feedback of the sword. To finalize things, Aiya leaps up and stomps into Riptide's head, driving it into the ground.
"Your move, chump."

Riptide raises his arm, as if to ward off Aiya somehow, but twin puffs of smoke signal otherwise, as the Electroshock Anchors bury themselves in Aiya's guts before discharging electricity into the alien. Aiya jitters and smokes as Riptide pours on the juice before retracting the cables, leaving a crispy fried alien before him. Finger-lickin' good!
Riptide uses the moments reprieve to stand before bum rushing Aiya with his boosters, lifting the alien up before smashing him through several buildings surround the Centrla Park area. Aiya's battered form slumps to the ground, bits of concrete and rebar still embedded in his skin. Riptide turns to step away before turning on one of his Barrier Fields and shield bashing Aiya in the face. This was the closest the machine could come to expressing contempt for the alien.
With a bleeding alien at his feet, Riptide steps back some and decides to give Aiya a taste of his own medicine, as he opens fire with a volley of missiles from his chest...

Aiya tries springing out of the way, but can't get enough omph in the time needed, and take a number of missile hits, mostly to his legs.
"Freakin' ow."
Looking to his hip, Aiya sees that his energy disruptor has been damaged in that last volley.
"Hmm, no wonder he was able to use those energy shields."
Attention Aiya. Be advised; armor on opponent is comprised of synthetic Earth compound rated at 52 reka levels dense.
"That's nothin ta sneeze at."
Armor repels blunt trauma and slashing attacks with ease. Armor is vulnerable to piercing attacks. Suggest using sword or forearm blades.
"Hmm, sword's to far away to grab and stab quick enough. Ah well."
Activating the blade in his left forearm, Aiya grunts as it slices through, the nanites in his bloodstream quickly tending to the wound, as well as the various others on his body.
Acting with as much speed as he can, Aiya stabs into Riptide with all his enhanced power, driving the blade into it's chest. With his other hand, Aiya puts his palm on Riptide's face and unleashes a palm blast at point blank range.
The mech stumbles back as Aiya takes out Big Boomer again. Aiming carefully, Aiya waits until Riptide has stabilized before unleashing the volly of missiles, their payload putting an exclamation point on Aiya's offensive.
With his foe reeling, Aiya moves in with his forearm blade again...

Riptide twists his arm and blocks, catching Aiya's wrist between the blades of his left arm Plasma Cutter array. A faint humming sound acommpanies the power-up of the weapon. As he prepares to simply slice Aiya's hand off, the alien manages to force his way through, striking through the NXT outer layer and into the armor beneath. Whatever this thing was, it definately knew his weaknesses. Or maybe it was just luck.
Whatever it was, his left arm Plasma Cutter shorted out, so he resorted to using the right arm weapon, stabbing it into Aiya's flank in retaliation. The cauterized wound remained behind, unable to heal properly. Riptide then plants a foot on Aiya's crotch and shoves, knocking the alien away and ripping the blade out of his side.
Aiya crashlands on the open terrain and Riptide fires a beam from his Super NOVA, burning a streak across Aiya's chest before retreating back into the buildings, hoping Aiya decided to follow...
