Bigor vs Perfect Chaos
Arena: Geyser Fields
Rules: None
Open fields of wasteland reeked of sulfurous fumes, as a ring of trees surrounded the area. Massive craters covered the space in pock marks, and the carcasses of countless giant animals, the first signs of any sort of life seen thusfar, littered this otherwise barren wasteland. Suddenly, a plume of super-heated water exploded from the ground, followed by another, and another. The torrential downpour created by these erupting geysers scalded the landscape and bathed the rocks in hot liquid. So, it was only natural that the geothermal hotspot would draw a creature who fed on heat. Bigor, the massive serpentine dinosaur, thundered through the area, soaking up the ambient heat as he went. He, like so many others, had found itself transported to this strange world by unknown forces. However, aside from the utter lack of food, this place was sufficient to serve his needs…for the moment.
But the relative calm of this empty world was about to be broken once more by the advent of a new creature. Several geysers erupted simultaneously, shooting columns of hot water into the sky. But something was different. Instead of splashing back down to earth, the water rose higher and more forcefully, before bending inwards, fusing together to form a massive sphere of liquid. Bigor watched in amazement as the sphere began reshaping itself into a massive, kaiju sized water dragon. Perfect Chaos, avatar of destruction, had arrived. His sudden drawing into this world had disoriented and confused him slightly, but when he noticed Bigor standing there, it became all too clear who was responsible. With a mighty bellow, a pair of watery wings erupted from his back, and the dragon took to the skies.
Bigor knew something was wrong, but was unprepared for the massive spear of yellow energy that pierced the air before him. He only barely managed to dodge it, as the spear struck the ground behind him and exploded, showering him rubble. Bigor roared in fury at the unprovoked assault, and the war was on. He took his stance, as his body burned with inner heat, before unleashing a stream of thermal energy at the airborne dragon. But his attack was in vain, for Chaos vanished before the onslaught. Bigor whipped around in confusion, just as Perfect Chaos appeared. Acting on pure instinct, he lashed out with his serpentine neck, sinking his fangs into Chaos’ body. But the water dragon’s form yielded no flesh, merely liquid. Bigor stepped back, confused, as Chaos lashed out with one powerful arm, sending Bigor rolling with a powerful punch. The mutant dinosaur crashed to the ground, a little bruised, but otherwise unhurt, as Chaos prepared to overtake him.
The water elemental gripped Bigor’s face with one arm, letting the water overtake his entire head, in preparation for suffocating his foe. As Bigor was lifted bodily off the ground, his feet scrabbling for purchase, Chaos began to squeeze. But Bigor had other ideas. A freezing aura enveloped the dinosaur, as a layer of ice began to cover Chaos’ arm. The dragon tried to release his grip on his foe, but it was no use, as Bigor unleashed his beam weapon, this time a stream of freezing energy, directly through Chaos’ arm. The arm froze solid, then shattered, leaving Chaos screaming in agony, as Bigor smashed the frozen appendage off his face, freeing him up for a new assault. However, Perfect Chaos was far from out of the fight. His arm, quickly thawed back into a puddle of water by the ambient temperatures, moved to rejoin the main body, giving Perfect Chaos his arm back. Bigor roared in frustration as he charged forward again, his own massive arms with their serrated crests held before him. The serrated blades cleaved through Perfect Chaos’ body with ease, but the wounds healed immediately. Undaunted by his opponent’s regenerative abilities however, Bigor pressed the assault and fired a thermal energy beam at point blank. The searing heat of the attack turned Chaos’ body to steam, and caused the elemental to cry out in pain in a way that physical attacks did not seem to generate.
But before Bigor could press his newfound advantage, Chaos seized him by the throat, lifting the saurian bodily off the ground, as bolts of magic surged through his arm and into Bigor’s body. The saurian roared in pain as the Chaos Magic surged through him, although this was quickly silenced by Chaos slamming his prey into the ground, smashing through the soil and leaving a small crater. Chaos’ strength matched, and perhaps even surpassed, that of Bigor, and the water dragon was using it to his full advantage. He lifted Bigor off the ground again and threw him across the field. The saurian crash landed amidst an erupting geyser, and he took advantage of it, soaking up all the heat and warmth this hotbed had to offer. Chaos vanished before him, but this time, Bigor was ready. He whipped around, a freezing aura enveloping him once again, as Chaos appeared behind him. Bigor roared as he unleashed his freezing beam, catching Chaos by surprise, as sheets of ice enveloped the monster, turning his once liquid form soild.
The frozen water dragon crashed to the ground, seemingly shattered beyond repair. Bigor knew better though, as the water crystals liquefied and began to merge. However, something caught his keen eyesight. Nerve tissue threaded the main body of Perfect Chaos, which must surely be a weak point of some kind, as blasting the body did little, if any damage. But before he could make his move, Perfect Chaos was upon him. He used his Chaos Control to teleport behind Bigor and strike, driving his newly reformed hands into the saurian’s back. Bigor howled in agony as the dragon’s talons tore deep into his flesh, as gouts of blood mixed in with his watery appendage. Bigor whipped around to attack, but Chaos repelled this with another swat from his fists, sending Bigor flying back into the trees. The saurian growled, as his wounds began to close up, and soon, he was back on his feet, ready to fight some more. Perfect Chaos bellowed at his prey, as Chaos Magic gathered in his maw in preparation to unleash a powerful blast. But Bigor wasn’t going to let that happen. He charged forward, charging his thermal beam as he went.
Both kaiju unleashed their weapons at the same time, the energy weapons colliding in the air. A sphere of glowing power formed from the merger, as both sides tried to push their weapon to victory. Neither side seemed to have the advantage, and the sphere exploded in a powerful wave of energy, knocking both kaiju flat and smashing Chaos’ body to the ground, where the nervous system was once again exposed. Not one to let a little pain stop him, Bigor was quickly on his feet, where he pounced on the fallen Chaos, and began tearing into the exposed spinal cord. Chaos shrieked in agony, as he teleported away. However, instead of reappearing to renew his attack on Bigor, he simply vanished. The saurian was confused by this, but his confusion gave way to fear as the ground tremored and quaked beneath him. All the geysers in the area suddenly erupted at once, sending plumes of scaling hot water into the sky. Perfect Chaos exploded from the ground, as the geysers began to feed him, causing him to almost double ins ie as he siphoned power from the underground reservoir. The water dragon unleashed a mighty roar as he slammed his massive fists into Bigor, pounding the dinosaur into the dirt.
Bigor howled in agony as Chaos pressed his advantage, smashing his saurian foe with all his might. Bigor’s blood soon mingled with the water that composed Chaos’ body and coated the landscape in crimson streaks. The dinosaur’s regeneration allowed him to keep going, but only so far. His energy reserves were being depleted by this onslaught, and he needed to act fast. Igor began charging a freezer beam, and Chaos retreated as the chilling aura enveloped his foe. Bigor made as if to fire his weapon, and Chaos teleported above the dinosaur. But his foe was ready for him. As Chaos reappeared, Bigor tilted his head back and fired into the sky, striking an unprepared Chaos with his weapon. The water dragon shrieked as his body turned to ice, only to smash into the ground, his arms shattering from the force of his decent. Bigor leapt upon the rest of the dragon and tore into the creature’s chest, questing for the one single weak point. As he was biting the spinal cord, Chaos’ back shattered, and half a dozen tendrils erupted from his back, their tips as sharp as blades. These tendrils began slashing up Bigor’s back, before gripping him by the neck and tossing him bodily away.
Bigor smashed to the ground, as Perfect Chaos began to reform once again. A Chaos Spear appeared in his hand as he launched the yellow hued bolt of energy at his foe. Bigor dodged the first, but the second slammed right into his chest, piercing his tough hide with ease before exploding. A spray of blood greeted Chaos as Bigor stumbled back, clutching the hole in his chest. Chaos lunged forward, a Chaos Blast charging in his maw. Bigor lashed out with his own snake-like neck, as he fired a thermal beam right at Chaos’ face. The attack, by sheer dumb luck, struck the charging Chaos Blast and exploded, detonating in Chaos’ head. The water beast’s face exploded, damaging its vulnerable nervous system in the process. Bigor pressed the assault, but already Chaos was reforming to take on his foe. The arms, which were still very much intact, lashed out and gripped Bigor by his serpentine neck, choking the life out of him and simultaneously surging powerful Chaos magic through the saurian’s body.
Bigor enacted the only defense he could perform once again, as a burning aura encased his body. But he was weaker now, as his reserves had been partially depleted, and Chaos’ flesh only boiled, although the water dragon did not back off. He needed a power boost, but the only way he could think to get one was to somehow tap the geothermal power that kept these geysers hot. Perfect Chaos had drawn a massive increase in size and strength from them, and Bigor could as well. As Bigor prepared to fire his weapon, Chaos teleported away, and made to launch more Chaos Spears at his foe, when Bigor shifted his firepower directly below him, on the crater in which he stood. The heat beam began to melt through the rock at a ridiculous pace, fueled in part by Bigor’s own fury. Chaos Spears rained down around him, and Bigor used them to his advantage dodging each at the last second, and allowing their explosive properties to blow holes in the ground. He could feel the heat rising, and now was his chance. He had tapped a hot spot. Not a big one, but large enough to refill his energy reserves for one more attack. Thermal energy flowed freely into his form as he turned to face Perfect Chaos. Their final clash was here, and only one would emerge victorious.
Perfect Chaos launched a volley of Chaos Spears at Bigor, and teleported. But Bigor was ready this time. He deftly dodged the assault, as the magical bolts exploded around him, then whipped around as Chaos reappeared. With a mighty roar, he unleashed the thermal beam he had been charging. Chaos screamed as the blast boiled him alive, searing his nervous system in the process. The water dragon tried weakly to strike back, but his magic fizzled and died, while his body turned to steam. Bigor kept hsi blast focused until there was nothing left. Perfect Chaos had been elimanated, and with it, so had the danger in the area. Bigor was exhausted, as that last attack had severely depleted him. But now he could rest and recover his strength. Perhaps, he could also find out where he was.
