I need one more vote before I end this and get to work on posting Gojulas Giga vs Tyrant Godzilla.

...Dammit, I hate when my vote has to be the tiebreaker...
*sigh*
Argus. I know what I said earlier about him just rushing out there hoping Gorgon would be dumb enough to come down to him...but reconsidering now, I doubt he'd just let his enemy hit him with another paralyze-blast, knowing how it can screw him over. His strength is weakening, sure, but that would likely just encourage him to be careful - and unless that muscle venom has screwed with his mind somehow, I don't think he's become so reckless as to just run out there without knowing what to do. He's made it this far with just his cleaver, his Light, and his wits...not going to say he's got this one in the bag, but I think it safe to say he's got an idea of how he's going to finish this.

Well, after another close call, Argus scrapes by with a 3-2 lead.
Gojulas Giga vs Tyrant Godzilla will be up by weeks end hopefully.

Soooo, whats causing the delays, OR? School? Job? Previous arangement? It /has/ been two weeks since you posted in this thread, so I'm just curious if you have forgotten or, the more likely thing, got buried under too many other more important responsibilities to get to it.
Or do you not feeling like writing much these past few days?

Yeah, work's been consuming most of my time lately, even though I am on Spring Break. I've written about half of the battle already, I'm just trying to keep things in character if you know what I mean. I'm hoping to have it here really soon.

Finally got it posted, and at nearly 2000 words, it's the longest yet.
Scorpadon vs Rygama is up next.

Wheeee! Soooo can't wait to see you do Scorpadon.
Anyway, Gojulas Giga. Just more damage and more impressive damage.

DAMN, that was one hell of a brawl right there. I'm gonna have to side with the Gojulas Giga though. More focused attacks and taking slightly less damage (though Godzilla's regen mostly compensates). There's also that plan Giga cooked up at the end there...

... -_-
This is what I get for having my 'ace-in-the-hole' kaiju go up against GG, 'cause I'm already down 2-0 here. I'm siding with my own beastie here. Sure, his regen's not gonna save him from everything, but it does its job damn well, the only problem I really see is the chest which Giga apparently likes to go for, and I can understand why, a lot of vital organs there to damage with concussive damage.
I can see Tyrant Godzilla taking advantage of Giga's weakened cranial armor (and structure, do to the nature of the damage) to assumingly get at the Organoid System... unless its down in GG's chest like I'm hoping its not. I also think that, unless its the fast acting Giga Cannons or the nigh unavoidavle Thunder Strike is involved in Giga's attack plan, Tyrant Godzilla will be able to react in time to avoid it partially and deal a crushing blow, considering this saurian has human-like intelligence. I believe that over the course of the fight, from the damage dealt and the wounds regenerated, the only serious damage TyrantG's taken is the two craters in his chest and those cauterized wounds from Giga's tail blades.
Giga lacks said regeneration, and Tyrant Godzilla dealt (in my eyes) equally damaging attacks. We all know that had Gojulas Giga been organic, he would have been dead by now. The fact, though, is that he's not organic, meaning he's still ticking, but in the end, I honestly believe that Tyrant Godzilla will put the Gojulas down once and for all.

Well... first of all I must say, that was a really good one. Quite the enjoyable read. Kickass fight sequence, and I was really digging the setting.
Now, as to the vote... hrmmm. Well, in my eyes, both combatants dealt a ton of damage. GG was doing more for most of the fight, but Tyrant Godzilla got in some really nasty attacks near the end which definitely evened things out a lot. This is one of those matches where I could easily see it going either way. So... at least for now, I'm going to abstain. I'll make my choice after I've read some more votes.

Well, GG did do more damage, but I feel Tyrant Godzilla did better damage. Allow me to elaborate.
Right now, the Gojulas Giga has a large, gaping hole in it's chest, with all sorts of circuitry and such exposed. One Plasmatic blast to that spot could cause a whole host of other explosions that will give it a one way ticket to the recycle center, where it will be melted down and turned into recycled HD TVs for thousands of needy families.
Yeah, at any rate, not only does he have that option, but TG could also just use his handy-dandy telekinesis to rip out all sorts of parts.
So like I said, while Gojulas did more damage, Godzilla did damage that gives him, more options for finishing the match.

Hmmm.... Yabs does raise a point: A blast to Giga's innards would indeed quickly wreak havoc on him. The inability to feel pain would more than likely prevent Giga from trying his hardest to protect the wound, which could easily prove his downfall.
Still, Giggles has more impressive weaponry and dealt more damage.
But I'm gonna go with Tyrant Godzilla, simply because he has a perfect opportunity to finish it right now.

>.> Surprised no one brought this up yet...Ya know...unless I happen to be following another urban science myth that's going to be shattered by some kaiju physicist out there...doesn't the fact that Tyrant Goji is squatting in a river make things pretty messy if GG launches some charge through the whole body of water? He's fairly smart, and if he gets away with that plan before TG does...

It wasn't brought up because TG got out of the river before the fight was left off for us to debate about, read it more closely.
Edit: Quoting the fight itself

I don't know exactly what OR meant in his words, but I was under the impression that by "erupted," after Godzilla fell into the river, he then burst out of the surface and stood there, where he proceeded to shoot up GG. After that, there is no indication that he left the river, and by his statement, OR never said if Goji, say, erupted out and charged over land, just that he erupted from the churning waters.
