Here's the first battle, between Scython and Carcharius. I apologize to DinoHunter for the liberites I took with Scython.
Please comment, and be sure to bold your vote in your response, along with some reasoning, so that I can tally up the winner later. Only one vote per person.

Arg. This is a tough one. Two very evenly matched oppoonents. However, given the death lock scenario at the end there, I think I'm gonna side with Scython. Carcharius' strength will be decreasing faster than Scython's due to the energy drain, so the longer they stay in that death lock, the better Scython's chances are.
Scython, though there's a very real possibility that he'll die afterwards from his wounds...

Scython. The mana-draining at the end, compared to Car's biting, should take him down faster.

Liberties smiberties, you portrayed him well.
I say Scython. The wounds Carcharius inflicted on him were certainly great, but with that lock, Carcharius will continuously weaken as Scython continuously strengthens, and that'll be the deciding factor of the fight.

Scython takes this. Carch put up a vicious fight, but when its down to which is gonna lose via blood loss and mana loss, Scython will win. Carch will lose energy while Scython stays even or so thanks to his gain in energy. Nice writing as well.

>.> Until I read this thread, I was damn well leaning towards Chacharius, because from what I picked up Scython lost a whole lot more body mass than the shark...but then, maybe I forgot the rest, because I sure as hell didn't pick up on the energy drain playing at the end for some reason...that's why I sleep earlier...
Uh, yeah, so Scython takes this, I guess...
As for the writing, I'll have to compliment you on it, as have others. Very good at managing to deal an equal number of blows per side and repeatedly changing the tide. We should make this the official K.W.C. of the Arena...or something...

The ending has been edited in. I wanted to do something gory, like ripping limbs off, but Scython seems more interested in his mana than actually eating the corpse or anything like that.
Round 1-2, Tanimin vs Dentata, will be posted soon.

Ooooh. Ion Flash and Ion Bubbles will come in handy here.

It's a little shorter than the first one, although I had more fun writing it.
So, who do you think will win?

Ughh...very, very difficult choice here. Dentata is resilient as hell, so I can't actually picture Taninim hurting him much, but gawd, he left himself open to being beamed and pulsed so many times...personally, I'd think the fishy'd regen might kick in more with that hit-and-run tactic, but either way, Dentata freakin' ate him alive there...honestly, I think Dentata's taken much more damage, but that's canceled out by his strong defenses...
Gah. The way it's ended, though, and with Taninim's human intelligence, Dentata's going to get f*cked if he tries eating the fish while he's still alive, I know it...going with Taninim for the win right now...

If the plan Taninim is thinking is the Ion Flash then Dentata is going down. The flash should completely paralyze him and let the big fish take him to Hell and back.
Taninim FTW.

The agile thinker vs. the brutish tank. Always an enjoyable match up.
But damn, this is a tough one. Taninim dished out more punishment than he took, but Dentata just soaked it right up. Though, knowing Taninim, this plan he's got is gonna be something mighty nasty.
So Taninim gets my vote.

Well, first off, props to Omega for a great read. Anyway.....well, yes, Dentata did take an amazing amount of damage. And I very well think she (yes, she) could take the battle if only she was a little faster. Taninim has the speed, regen, and ranged attacks, but didn't take that damage all that well. I mean...he was practically chewed up and spat out.
Ugh, this is troubling.......I think Taninim will win.
*cries*

Erg... this one's close. I'm going to vote Taninim- but only because of the ending. If it weren't for that plan of his, I'd have put my money on Dentata's freakish durability.

Taninim, While I don't know much about him (bleh, never kept up other people's Kaiju... -_-) nor Dentata... I'm just going to go with the crowd and vote for the fish.
