Riptide Demonstration
Fighting Style: Riptide is primarily a mid-range fighter. He makes liberal use the Delta Blades and Plasma Cutters in combat, occasionally switching over to the more powerful ranged weapons such as the ANECs in times of need. Riptide uses his agility and speed in combat to overwhelm foes in close-quarters fighting, but also changes tactics based on preliminary information on the target. For example, against a grounded melee fighter, Riptide attacks from the air with ranged weapons. Against a powerful ranged fighter with poor melee ability, he fights in close quarters, using his speed to close the distance quickly. Against most foes though, he employs the mid-range combat tactics metioned earlier. Riptide is also quick and efficient in his strikes, and wastes no time playing around. Against multiple foes, Riptide targets a single foe at a time, usually the weaker or more easily dispatched foes, and elimanates them from the fight first, before concentrating all his firepower on the stronger foe.
This is the one I used for Kaijuglaxy's FFKT, so it's brief, but effective. It shows how Riptide utilizes his various and sundry weapons and defenses.
The open desert spread out before Riptide as the machine landed and scanned his surroundings. He didn't know how he had gotten here, or why, but he knew something was wrong. Suddenly, Riptide's radar picked up the approach of a new enemy, coming in at Mach 2. The machine whirled around and quickly spotted the contrail left by the speeding monster, for the radar signature was far to big to be a plane. Riptide quickly activated his boosters launching himself into the air at the monster at Mach 3, and quickly closed the distance. He ID'd the target as Fire Rodan at this point, and maneuvered towards the flying creature. Fire Rodan spotted him and winged his way towards the cobalt and silver mech. Riptide rushed in head-on, and Rodan pulled off at the last second, the sonic boom rocking the machine's frame. Riptide's left arm shot out, the blades extended, and clipped the tip of Rodan's wings, shredding the thin membrane with ease. Rodan screamed in pain as Riptide quickly reversed direction and closed in on him, before the machine jammed both sets of blades into Rodan's back, and quickly rove the flying pest to the ground, the impact resulting in a sickening crack as bones and the like were probably damaged. Fire Rodan, though in pain, began to rapidly fire off his beam, striking Riptide several times, but to no effect. The NXT armor simply absorbed the power and channeling it into the reactors. Rather than let his foe continue on though, Riptide powered up both the Super NOVA and both ANECs and fired them at Rodan. The triple blast of plasma and thermonuclear energy finished the job, killing Rodan in a powerful explosion, leaving only a smoking corpse in its wake.
As Rodan's corpse sent of fresh streamers of smoke, the ground began to rumble around Riptide as another monster approached. Before Riptide could turn, something large and heavy struck him from behind, knocking the machine off balance, but not toppling it. FW Anguirus appeared seconds later as he landed in front of Riptide, bouncing like a demented Superball. Anguirus unfurled a short distance away and roared at Riptide, who quickly fired off his Super NOVA in response. Anguirus quickly leapt out of the way in response and curled into a thunderball in mid-air again, heading right for Riptide. Riptide shielded himself with his forearms, as the crystals on his arm units glowed. Suddenly, Anguirus slammed into an invisible barrier, bouncing off it and sprawling in the sand a shot distance away. Riptide's Barrier Fields had protected him from the assault, and the machine took to the skies again, hovering over the battlefield well out of Anguirus' range. At this point, Riptide opened fire with both the Super NOVA and ANECs, gouging lines of destruction in the desert sands. Anguirus bounced and rolled away, always managing to stay mere steps ahead of Riptide, even as his targeting systems compensated and predicted the saurian's actions. A volley of missiles exploded nearby, driving Anguirus to the left, where a trio of beams lanced into his side and exploded, sending the mutant Ankylosaur flying, whereupon he crashed into the ground, wailing in pain at the three smoking holes in his side. More blasts from Riptide's energy cannons exploded across his body, shattering armor and tearing through flesh, leaving another smoking, bleeding corpse in the desert.
As Riptide was inspecting his kill, another monster approached. A glowing sphere of light slammed into the ground at high speeds, as massive crystalline towers erupted from the earth. Riptide shielded himself from the debris flying his way, and as the smoke cleared, Spacegodzilla emerged from the crater left by his impact, as he was already drawing energy from the stars. Riptide clanged his fists together in a gesture of defiance, as the cosmic saurian challenged him. Emerald bolts of energy leapt from Spacegodzilla's towers into his shoulder crystals, as the monster fired off a powerful Corona Beam. The weapon splashed across Riptide's armor, which smoked slightly but showed no signs of damage as the power was absorbed into Riptide's reactor. Spacegodzilla appeared perplexed and fired again, each time with the same result. The plasma base for the weapon could not penetrate the energy absorbent shield surrounding the mech.
Riptide had the upper hand now and returned fire with his ANECs, the twin beams of emerald colored thermonuclear energy streaking toward their target. However, they were met by a shield, as Spacegodzilla erected a crystalline barrier, causing the beams to wash harmlessly over the surface and be reflected away at crazy angles. Riptide tried again with the Super NOVA, but the beam merely broke up into thin streams of energy before being absorbed by his foe's shoulder crystals. Riptide had a good understanding of what the monster was capable of now, and switched tactics. Blades of green plasma energy sprang from between the blade-like focusing arrays on his arms as the machine jetted forward. Spacegodzilla fired off more Corona Beams, each one being easily absorbed by the NXT armor. Riptide slashed each Plasma Cutter across Spacegodzilla's chest, biting deep into flesh and crystal, as the intense heat of the weapons cauterized the wounds, preventing any form of regeneration. Spacegodzilla's whip-like tail came around, intent on stabbing into Riptide's back and disabling the machine, who had other plans.
Riptide caught the tail and used his own boosters to help swing his prey around, releasing him to crash into one of his own towers. Spacegodzilla roared out in pain as a pair of crystals raised themselves out of the ground and shot towards Riptide, who quickly blocked the attack with his Barrier Fields once again, showering the area in crystal fragments. Before Spacegodzilla could right himself, Riptide launched a pair of titanium cables from the undersides of his wrists, the heads burying themselves in Spacegodzilla's thighs. Powerful electric shocks surged along the cables. Spacegodzilla shrieked in fury, but quickly retaliated by surging the shock back towards the user. The surge protector saved Riptide from considerable internal damages, but he was forced to retract the cables. Spacegodzilla levitated himself to a standing position again, as a pair of energy bolts leapt from his shoulder crystals, snaring Riptide in their grasp. The machine was dangled helplessly, as his foe slung him away, sending him plowing through the sands. Riptide quickly got to his feet, his exterior having taken minor damage in the crash. In order to beat Spacegodzilla, he would need to be faster and make precision strikes, lest he be caught in the Gravity Tornado again.
Riptide's boosters kicked in as the machine rushed his target again, veering sharply to the left this time before slicing into Spacegodzilla's flank with the Plasma Cutters. Riptide repeated this tactic several more times, each attack wearing Spacegodzilla down a little further. Spacegodzilla dropped to his knees, unable to keep up with his foe's attacks, as Riptide came in for one last strike, driving the Plasma Cutters into the back of Spacegodzilla's skull, killing the monster instantly. Yet another bleeding and broken corpse littered the desert sands.
A roar behind him prompted Riptide to stop his task of knocking over crystal towers, and he noticed the approach of Showa Godzilla. The mighty melee master bounced lively on his feet and roared a challenge to the gleaming cobalt and silver titan. Rather than further tax his energy systems, Riptide decided to end this foe in melee combat. Godzilla rushed Riptide, fists ready, and threw a powerful right hook at the machine. Riptide promptly blocked with his own right arm and sucker punched Godzilla in the gut, doubling the children's hero over as he knocked the wind out of him. Riptide quickly followed up with a melee attack sequence of his own, smashing both fists into Godzilla's chin with a double uppercut, jamming a spiked knee into his gut, a quick backhand to Godzilla's face, before delivering a powerful kick to the shins. Godzilla dropped to his knees under the assault, which had taken place in the span of a few seconds. Riptide thrust the Delta Blades on his right arm forward, snaring Godzilla's head between the blades. The titan struggled to loose himself, when the energy buildup between the blades ended that in a heartbeat. The Plasma Cutter shot forth, severing the monster's spinal cord and windpipe, ending the life of a children's hero and upping the body count to four.
But the day wasn't over yet. Riptide faced one more foe, as the ground beneath him rumbled and began to rupture, as Biollante emerged to challenge the robot. Flailing tentacles slashed across Riptide's armor, as the acid oozing from them began to eat small holes in Riptide's armor. Even as Riptide slashed and hacked with the Plasma Cutters and Delta Blades, new vines emerged to lash out at him. Biollante regenerated too fast for his weaponry to effectively put an end too. He needed the big guns for this one. Riptide boosted off a good distance away from Biollante, and began the powerup sequence for the Corona-Eclipse Overdrive Cannon. Biollante rumbled forward, closing the gap in quickly, despite her bulk. The seconds ticked by as Riptide tried his best to shield his core from Biollante's tentacles and acid, as the power levels began to peak. Unfortunately, his Barrier Fields were growing weaker as more of his energy was transferred to the main weapon. Finally, a pair of footlocks slammed into place, as the chest panel split open into four plates, revealing the building glow of the CEOC behind the core crystal. Biollante moaned in fear as the glow built. Riptide threw his arms wide as the energy beam erupted from his chest, tearing a massive trench in the ground beneath it, the concussive shockwaves creating a miniature sandstorm, and the intense heat and force of the weapon tearing Biollante apart at the cellular level, vaporizing the plant-monster in one fell swoop, and leaving a path of destruction in its wake.
Riptide's systems began to shut down as the machine lost power from the weapon's drain. He wouldn't be fighting for a while, but he felt confident that he had defeated all the foes here today.

Magmire Demonstration
Fighting Style: Magmire is a relatively docile monster as well, seeking only to feed and be left alone. This means his opponent will almost always get the first strike in. After that though, Magmire goes practically berserk, making liberal use of his thermal powers to burn the opponent and all that surrounds him. When engaged in melee combat, he lets his Heat Touch and Lava Blood do most of the wrok, and uses bump-melee tactics, occasionally using more animalistic attacks like clawing, biting, and slashing with his forearm blades.
Another battle scene for the FFKT. short, sweet, and gives adequate represenation of his powers.
The already unbearable heat of the desert was compounded by the arrival of Magmire. The walking mound of living volcanic fury plodded through the desert sands, unaware of how he got here, but certain that there was food nearby. Unfortunately for him, there were those who were intent on keeping him from it. A trio of chirps heralded the arrival of Mothra and her two larvae. The two larvae began to fire their silk webbing at the titan, but the intense heat he generated simply burned it off on contact. It didn't slow him down at all. Magmire wanted those two out of his way, and began to charge his heat beam. The crystals of his dorsal spines glowed with tremendous energy as he unleashed a beam of intense heat, severely burning both larvae. They screeched and shrieked as they writhed in pain, flames covering their bodies. The adult cried in distress, and unleashed a poisonous cloud of scales at Magmire. The lava elemental was unphased by the pitiful attack, and launched off a volley of fireballs at close range. The resulting explosion was deafening. Mothra was incinerated in a burning wave of fire as her own attack backfired. When the flames finally receded, Magmire's body showed significant signs of damage. Parts of his exterior were stripped away from the blast, and lava oozed through the gaps. But his regeneration was already hard at work, and soon, new rock surfaced and solidified to repair the damages, and it was impossible to tell he had been harmed at all.
Butt now Magmire was mad. It was exceedingly apparent that he was under attack, as the thought that h had caused the explosion had never occurred to him, and waves of heat rolled off his body like sweat, burning the sparse vegetation of the desert to a crisp in his path. Another roar heralded the arrival of Godzilla Heisei. The nigh undisputed Monster King bellowed at Magmire and fired a heat ray at his foe. The beam struck Magmire on the shoulder, blasting free a chunk of rock, which was healed almost instantly in seconds. Godzilla continued firing his heat ray, with the same result, and completely unmindful of the rising temperatures. The ground around Magmire rumbled and quaked as huge fissures formed and fire erupted between them, churning rock and sand into formless slag. One such fissure opened beneath Godzilla, causing the saurian to stumble as his legs were engulfed. Magmire roared as the earthquake continued, and fired off heat beams of his own, the intense heat burning away at the flesh of Godzilla, despite his thick skin. Godzilla regeneration was hard at work trying to repair the damage as the fissure beneath him widened, and a gout of lava erupted, bathing him in molten rock. Godzilla kept firing off his heat ray wildly, occasionally striking Magmire, who regeneration kept repairing the wounds. Magmire continued attacking in his own relentless fashion, until smoke started rising from Godzilla's charred body, and the fissure widened even further, engulfing the monster king in its crushing embrace as the rock closed over him.
Magmire continued attacking randomly, unaware that a new foe had approached. Titanosaurus called out as he rushed Magmire from behind, delivering a series of powerful blows to his rock hard exterior. But they could not penetrate his "flesh", and Titanosaurus was soon wailing in pain as his hands were scorched and burnt black. Magmire wheeled on Titanosaurus, slashing with his forearm blades and drawing gouts of blood from the melee mutant. Titanosaurus fell under the assault as Magmire grappled his foe and unleashed a searing wave of pent up heat and pressure, throwing the body of his opponent back with massive, shiny burns coating his flesh. Blood oozed from a myriad of wounds as Magmire finished off his foe with a powerful heat beam.
As Magmire continued to rampage, the spider mutant Kumonga skittered by. He tried firing webbing at Magmire, but it was burnt to a crisp from Magmire's own heat. Magmire grabbed the spider, unmindful of his shrieks of pain, as Magmire's own touch burned his body. The living volcano chowed down on one of Kumonga's legs, before ripping it loose at the joint and tossing the burning arachnid away. As Kumonga tried to retreat, Magmire underwent a frightening change. Eight lava extensions emerged from his back as he absorbed more earth into his body. Each extension quickly formed into jointed appendages like Kumonga's own legs. Magmire did not even slow his assault on Kumonga as the changes took place, and fired off more fireballs at Kumonga, which exploded and engulfed his foe in flames. Finally, the new legs were completed, and Magmire stabbed out at Kumonga with their crystal tipped ends, drawing black ichor from half a dozen wounds in an instant. Magmire continued the assault, using a combination of his heat beams and newly acquired legs, until the spider was no more.
Magmire was still furious, but when he noticed that no new foes came, he began to calm down and wandered off in search of food.

Carcharius Demonstration
Fighting Style: Charcharius is a super aggressive brawler. He makes a short sprint to close in on his foes as fast as possible, then proceeds to tear them apart in melee. Once he gets going, there's no stopping him, at least, not until either he or his opponent has been defeated.
Yet another FFKT sample fight.
The sandy beaches of Hawaii, with their crystal clear waters and nude sunbathers, quickly turned into a bloodbath as a new menace surfaced. A cruise liner anchored offshore exploded in a brilliant orange fireball as a trio of fins scythed their way through the water, cutting the hull of the ship open from bow to stern. The burning wreckage of the ship sank beneath the waves as the barely visible predator snatched up helpless survivors, who obviously didn't survive for long. The waters turned crimson as a new creature exploded from the depths. Carcharius, the shark-like mutation, emerged with the remains of a whale gripped in his jaws. People scattered before him like leaves in a windstorm, as the genetic aberration waded ashore.
As he was busy laying waste to his surroundings, a roar heralded the arrival of another monster. Zilla called out to Carcharius, who looked at the newcomer briefly and decided that it had enough meat to sate his hunger. Before Zilla could react, Carcharius charged forward and lashed out with his talons, tearing three ragged wounds across Zilla's face. The mutant iguana reeled back, screaming and clutching his wounds face, as Carcharius slammed into him again, the denticles in his skin rubbing patches of his foe's flesh raw. Zilla crashed to the ground as Carcharius pounced, tearing flesh from bone with his powerful claws as his jaws sought the jugular. Zilla thrashed and squirmed to no avail, as Carcharius' jaws closed in around his throat, before shaking it around like a dog worrying a bone. Blood jetted freely from the open wound as Carcharius tore into the corpse, the scent of blood filling his nostrils and driving him crazy.
As he was feasting, another monster bounded ashore. Gorosaurus, the titanic therapod of Mondo Island, bellowed at Carcharius and interrupted his meal. Carcharius, who hated being interrupted as much as the next person, wheeled around on Gorosaurus, slapping his tail fin across his face and tearing another wound in the flesh. Carcharius was in full blood frenzy now. Gorosaurus retaliated through the pain and bit down on Carcharius' arm, drawing thin streams of blood. But Carcharius felt no pain and dug his talons into Gorosaurus' flank, letting more blood flow. Gorosaurus backed off, howling in pain, as Carcharius kept coming forward. He tried to lean back on his tail to deliver a powerful kick, but Carcharius lashed out and caught his ankles in his hands, forcing the dinosaur back at an awkward angle. He could hear bones and tendons snapping as Gorosaurus was forced to the ground, squealing in pain. The therapod had no chance as Carcharius ripped his throat out, more blood staining the tropical paradise red.
A trio of Kamacuras zoomed in and swarmed over Carcharius, slashing with their claws. They drew blood after a few strikes, but Carcharius ignored this as his regeneration began to repair the wounds, like they had done with Gorosaurus' attacks. Carcharius tore one apart with his bare hands, splattering blood and guts all over the place. He gripped a third one and began thrashing on the ground with it, biting and clawing and eating it alive as he went. The third Kamacuras tried to flee this orgy of violence, but was snatched from the air by Carcharius, who quickly chewed it in half.
But just when things appeared to be over, Godzilla Heisei, the King of the Monsters himself, appeared. He quickly began to fire heat rays at Carcharius, who roared in frustration as he charged Godzilla, unmindful of the damage he was sustaining. His wounds closed up as eh closed in, biting and clawing as he went. But Godzilla's wounds were healing like his, as his dorsal spines glowed to life, he propelled Carcharius away with a powerful nuclear pulse, leaving nasty burn marks in his skin. Carcharius growled, as a thick liquid oozed from between his fangs and he charged Godzilla again. This time, as he sank his fangs into Godzilla's shoulder, he pumped a powerful anti-coagulant into his foe. Godzilla's shoulder began to bleed profusely, as his regeneration tried in vain to close the wound. Carcharius savaged the shoulder and continued biting and clawing, questing for Godzilla's throat. The monster king roared in pain as Carcharius bit into his throat, tearing loose a hunk of ragged, bleeding flesh. Godzilla collapsed into the dirt, blood pouring from his wounds as Carcharius opened new ones.
The island had been turned into a veritable butcher's shop, as Carcharius feasted on the various corpses, his hunger sated for the time being.

Darktide Mk. II Demonstration
Opponents/Stats: Kamacuras GFW x3 (Ht: 45 meters/Wt: 20,000 tons) Gabara (Ht: 100 meters/Wt: 50,000 tons) Anguirus GFW (Ht: 60 meters -quadruped/Wt: 60,000 tons) Super Mechagodzilla (Ht: 120 meters/Wt: 150,482 tons) Mothra Heisei and Battra (Length: 65 meters/Wt: 20,000 tons) Megaguirus (Length: 65 meters/Wt: 20,000 tons) Deathscythe Hell Custom (Ht: 100 meters/Wt: 60,000 tons)
Arena: Tokyo
----
Darktide landed in the midst of the city, as there had been reports of numerous monster sightings in the area. His intelligence had not been wrong. A high pitched buzzing noise heralded the arrival of a trio of Kamacuras, their sonic waves tearing up the streets as they passed overhead. Thye perched upon the tops of three buildings surrounding Darktide as they chittered and waved their claws in the air. Darktide took no notice and merely turned to face the first Kamacuras. There was a booming noise and the Kamacuras splattered across the area, and most of the upper floors of the building beneath it were pulverized in the explosion. The other two Kamacuras chittered in alarm and were just as quickly decimated by the Impact Cannons as their partner was.
With the monsters down, Darktide prepared for the next attack, when the warbling yowl of another creature signaled the arrival of Gabara. The mutant ogre-like being lumbered forward, electricity surging along his fists. But Darktide had no intention of letting him touch him, even if he couldn't do any damage. Darktide jetted upwards, leaving Gabara in the dust, as missiles launched themselves from ports in his legs and struck Gabara in rapid succession. The ogre howled in pain, and was thus totally unprepared as Darktide swooped in, Plasma Cutter extended, and sliced into Gabara's throat. The orge couldn't even gurgle, as his head flopped to the side, barely holding on by a few threads of muscle and tissue, the stump of which was burned shut. Gabara's lifeless body collapsed to the ground as Darktide landed nearby.
Suddenly, his sensors blared in warning as another monster approached. He rapidly twisted to the side and raised a shield, as Anguirus thunderballed right into it. The Barrier Field flashed breifly and the air rippled as Anguirus went sprawling. Darktide capitalized on this by firing his Hyper NOVA at the downed monster. Anguirus squeeled in pain as the beam exploded on his chest, leaving a nice, shiny burn. However, his thick carapace managed to absorb most of the damage. Anguirus quickly got to hsi feet and charged again, something Darktide wasn't prepared to let connect. He lashed out with one foot, smashing Anguirus upside the head and sending him sprawling again, before taking to the air. He knew Anguirus could bounce, so he made sure to keep moving, as Anguirus chased after him
His thick carapace would prove to be no more of a problem though, as a steady hum built, before becoming a powerful screech, as Darktide lowered himself towards Anguirus. He jetted aside as the Anguirus bounced past, and then unleashed his attack. A faint ripple passed through the air as Darktide's Harmonics Disruptor fired. Anguirus screamed in agony as his bony carapace was shattered, leaving many opening for Darktide to hit. He lowered his Impact Cannons again and fired off a triple burst into the holes in the armor. The resulting explosion ripped Anguirus apart, as blood sprayed everywhere, leaving a nasty, large crater where his back used to be.
As Dartide landed to survey the damage, a mechanical roar heralded the arrival of Super Mechagodzilla. A quick scan of the target indicated that most of his weaponry would be ineffective against Darktide, but not the other way around. Darktide kicked off the ground, and rushed Super Mchagodzilla. The mech fired off his plasma weaponry, none of which could hurt Darktide, as they were easily absorbed by the NXT armor. Darktide slammed into Super Mechagodzilla with both fists, smashing relatively thin NT-20 coating with ease, and severely denting the under armor as well. Darktide continued to pummel away at Super Mechagodzilla, before uppercutting him and knocking him on his side.
Mechagodzilla struggled to rise, as Darktide landed a short distance away, as his Ion Linear Cannon began to charge. As Super Mechagodzilla began to rise, a beam of charged particles erupted from the cannon tip, and blasted clean through Super Mechagodzilla's Plasma Grenade port, disabling his most powerful weapon. Fire and smoke poured from the wounded machine, as Darktide took aim and fired off more shots, taking out Super Mechagodzilla's face in the process, thus ending the threat of the machine.
But before he could even celebrate his victory, more monsters showed up, this time in the forms of Mothra and Battra. As they approached, Darktide faded from view, save for a faint shimmering as he moved. Neither Mothra, nor Battra, was prepared for what happened next. Darktide un-cloaked above Mothra and fired a triple burst from the Impact Cannons, splattering Mothra all over the landscape. Battra roared in fury as he unleahsed Prism Beams at Darktide, catching the machine off guard. The beams exploded across hsi outer armor, leaving smoking patches, but the damage was reduced some. Battra was fast in the air, but Darktide was more maneuverable. He twisted and turned, blocking Battra's assaults with his shields, and retaliated with his Hyper NOVA Cannon. Battra, who was unable to actually hurt Darktide, eventually succumbed to the damage and plummeted, where Darktide finished him off with an Ion Linear Cannon round to the face.
As he still hovered in the air, his sensors picked up another object coming in fast. He barely managed to jet to the side, as Megaguirus screamed past in hyper flight. Her sharp wings left a few shallow, and ultimately ineffective scratches in his armor as she passed. Darktide couldn't handle that kind of speed. He tried to avoid damage as best as he could, but Megaguirus was too fast, and her wings kept scratching up his armor, although the damage was still relatively insignificant. Finally, Darktide managed to cloak himself again, after the generators had time to recharge, and he disappared from view, leaving a stunned Megaguirus behind.
Suddenly, Darktide rammed her from behind and latched on, sending them both plummeting to earth at high speeds. At the last possible second, Darktide released his catch and passed in low over the streets, the sonic booms tearing up buildings as he passed. Megaguirus wasn't so lucky. She smashed into the ground, leaving a nice impact crater behind. Blood oozed from her broken body as Darktide finished her off, setting her on fire with his Hyper NOVA Cannon.
At last, it seemed to be done. No additional monsters appeared before him. But as Darktide prepared to return home, something struck him from behind. There was the shriek of shredding metal, as a large, green, energy blade sliced through his right wing. Darktide whipped around and came face to face with his final opponent. A large, humanoid mecha, with wings like his, wielding an energy scythe, stood before him. The Deathscythe Hell, one of the most feared and powerful machine on the planet. Darktide disengaged and dropped the remains of his right wing, and the entirety of his left wing. He wouldn't need them anymore.
Deathscythe wasted no time in pressing the assault, but Darktide was ready for him this time. He plocked with his shield and parried with his Plasma Cutter. As he and the Deathscythe traded blows, he scanned his target, particularly the energy scythe, and discovered why is was able to cut through his armor so easily. It wasn't composed of plasma or heat, something he couldn't easily absorb...something new. But no matter.
The two machines hacked and slashed across the city, their weapons sparking and flashing against one another as they traded blows. But Darktide had other advantages. He knew his foe was shielded against EMPs, so using the Impact Cannons to release a magnetic charge was out of the question. He did however, have another weapon. A powerful hum built as his Harmonics Disruptor charged up. Deathscythe seemed to detect what was happening, and quickly jetted away, which opened him up to the scond phase odDarktide's plan. A beam of crimson, spiraling energy erupted from his maw, striking Deathscythe int he chest, and sent the machine careening into the side of a building. Darktide rushed him and fired the Harmonics Disruptor, once in range. Deathscythe's armor seemed to shatter before his eyes as the weapon did it's job, by weakening his foe's resistance. Deathsycthe lashed out with his energy scythe, which Darktide blocked with ease, before thrusting his Plasma Cutter into Deathscythe's chest, and twisted. The machine sparked briefly and twitched, before it lay still.
But Darktide wasn't finished. He was taking no chances with this one. He stepped back, putting enough distance between himself and his foe, before firing another triple burst, which tore Deathscythe asunder, leaving a smoking corpse behind. The battle was over. Darktide had won.

He fears no monster in melee, thanks to his armor that most physcial weaponry cannot penetrate, and knows for a fact that he is the most badass mother-f*cker on the battlefield at any given point. As such, he sees no need to toy around with anyone, and proves his strength and superiority through utterly annihilating his foes as quickly as possible. He enjoys cruelty, but will not sacrifice efficiency for it. He can't avoid hits much, but he typically doesn't need to, and is supremely confident in hsi own abilities. ---- Darkness covered the skies as the monsters of Earth and beyond assembled on this island of man to defeat a menace that threatened them all. Lightning flashed across the area, as ten giant monsters converged, ready to take out one entitiy. Suddenly, the heavens parted, and amidst the storm...he emerged. Apocalypse Dragon, once the savior of a dying race, now the greatest threat to life in the universe, had come. The ten monsteres bellowed, roared, and screeched in unison as the dark dragon landed before them, the runic inscriptions on his horn and face glowing crimson in the darkness. As he bellowed in return, a massive dome of Shadow Energy enveloped most of the island, trapping them all in a fight to the death. The monsters roared in confusion, which was quickly replaced by fury, as they charged as one. The Apocalypse Dragon opened his maw as a stream of Shadowfire erupted, striking Biollante across the face. Her body glowed from within as she burned to death from the inside out. As the others came forward, she fired off a stream of acid as her last dying act. But thecid merely dripped from the armored hide of the Apocalypse Dragon, before pooling at his feet and eating into the ground. Biollante burst into flames and wailed in agony as her body was consumed. FW Godzilla, being that fastest of the monsters, reached the Apocalypse Dragon first, and leapt into his face, preparing to beat him down in melee. But the dark dragon merely cloths-lined his opponent to the ground, before grinding his skull into the pavement with his foot. Super Mechagodzilla and Mechagodzilla Showa fired their weaponry all at once, in what would have been a devastating display of power. The Apocalypse Dragon merely staggered a little under their combined assault, but never relenquished his hold over Godzilla. A sphere of Shadow Energy formed between his hands and rapidly to grew to massive size, before he launched it at Mechagodzilla Showa. The sphere erupted over the mechanical titan, enveloping him in Shadow Lightning, leaving a smoking wreck to plummet to the ground moments later. Super Mechagodzilla attempted to absorb the Apocalypse Dragon's next attack of Shadowfire, but sadly, this did nothing. The NT-20 could not absorb the alien energies properly, and the machine began to melt and combust from the inside as he superheated to unbearable levels. He fell as well, his wreck falling next to Showa Mechagodzilla's. The Apocalypse Dragon then grew weary of toying with FW Godzilla and burst his skull underfoot like an overripe melon. Hedorah quickl launched himself at the dragon and began to envelop him, attempting to eat through his armor with his acidic body. But the Apocalypse Dragon merely ignored the acid, which did not effect his armor, and the toxic fumes as well, for he did not breathe. He pulsed Shadow Energy outwards in multiple ring-shaped projections, which sliced Hedorah'sbody apart, before a massively powerful surge of Shadow Energy began to vaporize Hedorah's body. As he was drying out Hedorah, Organ came up and attempted to smash the Apocalypse Dragon between his massive fists. But the glanced harmlessly off his armor plating. The Apocalypse Dragon was merely annoyed and lashed out with his arm blades, each one coated with Shadow Energy. The blades sliced cleanly through Orga's body, severing limbs and flesh like so much tissue paper. Orga's body fell to teh ground, bleeding stumps showing where his arms used to be, and a massive open wound across his midsection, through which his guts were busy pouring. Spacegodzilla, Destroyah, and Meltdown Godzilla charged him at once, as the Apocalype Dragon spread his wings wide and fired off a barrage of Shadow Lightning. Godzilla and Destroyah staggered from the attack, but Spacegodzilla foolishly attempted ot absorb it through his shoulder crystals. This was a mistake. His shriek of agony caused the other two to pay attention to their comrade, who's body was decaying around him, even as he absorbed more energy. The light in his crystals faltered then faded, before Spacegodzilla fell over, shrieking and writhing in agony, his body desperately trying to repair the fatal damage. The Apocalypse Dragon snagged both the dumbfounded Godzilla and Destroyah by the face in his massive hands and lifted them in the air like the were toys, before slamming their heads together with a resounding "CRACK", before tossing Destroyah aside. Meltdown Godzilla fired off a powerful Spiral Ray at point blank range, but the heat washed harmlessly over the dragon's body. even the explosive force did little to damage his armor. The Apoclypse Dragon tossed Godzilla into the air, before whipping around, and severing the monster in two across the waist with his Sahdow Talon enhanced tail blade. Destroyah retaliated and fired off a Micro-Oxygen spray, which began to eat through the dragon's armor. The Apocalypse Dragon shrieked in fury as he launched himself as Destroyah, slashing and tearing away with his Shadow Talon enhanced wrist blades. Destroyah buckled under the assault, as his body was torn to ribbons, before he finally collapsed in a bleeding heap. Finally, all that was eft was Keizar Ghidorah, a brother in some ways. The Apocalypse Dragon merely snorted as the three headed terror rushed forward, spraying Gravity Bolts as he went, before countering with a Mega Shadow Sphere. The alien energies engulfed Ghidorah, and dropped the alien to his knees in agony, before three quick strikes decapitated each head, and a fourth from his tail blade split the monstrosity down the middle. The Apocalypse Dragon roared in victory having defeated ten monsters at once with barely a scrath to show for it. If this was all this planet could offer in challenge, the rest would be a fool's errand.

Jericho Demonstration
Opponents:
Final Wars Cast (sans Keizar Ghidorah) Spacegodzilla Destroyah Mechagodzilla Showa
(all scaled to Heisei/FW sizes and weights)
Arena: Washington D.C.
Fighting Style- Jericho can take hits like nobody's business, so he rarely, if ever, tries to avoid damage, and simply settles for pummeling them with his Gravity Flails. If another weapon, like his Stonehenge or Firestorm Cannons prove more effective, or advantageous, then he will use them. He rarely opts for the Satellite Strike.
----
The mighty machine known as Jericho was deployed to defeat a massive convergence of monsters on the American capitol at Washington D.C. As the machine landed, his gravity generators cushioning the impact, the monsters made their prescense known. Ten monsters, led by Godzilla and Monster X, tore through the streets of D.C., wrecking everything in their path. Thy had not spotted Jericho yet, and that was enough for the machine.
Four massive cannons detached from their moorings on his pack, held in place by shimmering gravity leashes. These orbiting cannons spread out and targeted the advancing wave of enemies. A thunderous roar shook the city as all four cannons fired at once. Kamacuras shrieked as the shell tore through his carapace and exploded, splattering bug guts all over the city. Ebirah was likewise shredded by a cannon shell, as his lone survivng claw flew away and impaled the sidewalk.
The other monsters were more fortunate, as Godzilla and Monster X leapt out of the way, barely avoiding the weapons fire. The shells exploded some distance behind them, destroying several buildings in the process. The monsters charged at once, hoping to overtake Jericho between cannon firings. But the machine was ready. His Gravity Flails dropped and swung a few meters off the ground, held in place by the gravity leashes. Anguirus rolled along in a Thunderball, then bounced in an attempt to topple Jericho. But the machine swung his arm once, the Gravity Flail smashing into Anguirus in mid-air, sending the saurian flying with a shattered carapace to crash land on a newby structure.
Jericho used the momentum of his attack to continue, twisting his body around on its base, and swinging the other arm at Godzilla. The Gravity Flail smashed into the monster king's chest, and there was a sickening and quite audible crack as Godzilla's chest caved in. He toppled over, wheezing in agony and clutching his broken chest. Monster X saw what had happened and fired his Gravity Bolts at Jericho, while Rodan and King Seesar tried to flank him. But Jericho's Stonehenge Cannons aimed and fired their payloads at the flanking monsters, blowing King Seesar's head clean off (as well as most of his torso), and uttelry annihilating the frail Rodan. X's Gravity Bolts struck their mark however, and a shower of sparks obscured his view. However, when the smoke cleared, Jericho stood, unharmed. Small scorch marks indicated that he had in fact been hit, but the damage was negligible.
The mammoth machine swung both arms simultaneously, as X fired his beams in futility. The Gravity Flails connected with his shoulder, shattering them in one strike, and dropping x to his knees in an instant. One of his cannons aimed and fired at the downed alien, blowing his face away with a single shot. With three of his four cannons depleted, Jericho recalled them to reload, as he searched for the remaining two enemies. Hedorah was slow and ineffectual in combat, so Jericho paid him no heed. Kumonga was hiding, Zilla was weak, and he had no idea where Mothra was. His question was soon answered as his RADAR chirped at him. Mothra tried to topple the machine over with a flyby, but he was simply too heavy.
Jericho's right forearm split to reveal the Firestorm Cannon concealed within, and then offloaded at Mothra. The insect shrieked in agony as the weapon tore through her body. However, it was the white phosphorous coating that ignited her scales, turning her into a blazing fireball, where she soon crashed to the ground and exploded. Zilla and Kumonga took advantage of his temporary distraction to try an ambush. Kumonga's webbing arced through the air and became a net, which landed atop Jericho's head. Zilla leapt at the machine, and attempted to claw through his armor, with no results.
Jericho turned his active Firestorm Cannon on Kumonga, and the spider exploded in a shower of burning guts, as thousands of armor piercing rounds tore through his body. Zilla tried another head-on assault, but Jericho blocked it, brining his Gravity Flail down on Zilla's head, smashing it to the pavement, a bloody testment to his power. Jericho then turned and swung at Hedorah, smashing the pollution spawned mutant with a Gravity Flail, which sent him flying to smash to the ground some distance away.
But the fight was not over yet. Three new monsters, Spacegodzilla, Destroyah, and Showa Mechagodzilla, appeared, seemingly teleported in. Spacegodzilla dropped to the ground, as a wall of crystals quickly erupted around him. Destroyah, meanwhile, flew right at him, spraying his Micro Oxygen weapon. The composition of the beam allowed it to start eating holes in his armor. But Jericho was undeterred. His Stonehenge Cannons, now fully loaded, began to orbit him again, and targeted Destroyah. The Pre-Cambran lifeform landed in preperation for brining his Laser Horn into pay, when twin shells exploded across his chest, tearing him apart. Destroyah shrieked as his torso disentigrated into a bloody mist, before collapsing to the ground, defeated.
As Jericho was finishing off Destroyah, Mechagodzilla fired off his weapons at the machine's front, but they did little damage, barely even managing to dent the obnoxiously dense armor. Jericho pivoted on his hips, swinging his Gravity Flails at the machine. The first knocked Mechagodzilla's head off, sending its smashed and dented visage crashing to the ground, while the second caved his chest in, knocking the alien mecha over with a thunderous crash.
All that was left was Spacegodzilla. The mutant shrieked in fury nd began launching a volley of crystal missiles at him, accompanied by his Corona Beam. Jericho absorbed his firepower as a sign of the futility of his efforts. He didn't bother to visible try and counter-attack, but merely waited. Shortly, a bema of light pierced the heavens, striking Spacegodzilla, before a mammoth explosion engulfed him and his fortress, leaving no trace of the mutant, or his crystals behind, as the crater that was left behind was all that remained. Jericho was victorious, and returned to base to recieve a few minor repairs.

Chimeragon Demonstration

Arena: Oahu
----
Chimeragon swam lazily in the waters off the coast of the largest Hawaiian island. The weather seemed pleasant, and the warm temperatures of the water were inviting. As he surfaced, however, things quickly degenerated into chaos. He picked up mental waves from an approaching monster, and only barely had time to duck back under the waves as Gigan Showa skimmed the water with a highspeed flyby. His belly saw tore through the water, barely missing Chimeragon's head, as the cyborg landed on the beach, clanging his hooks together in a gesture of defiance.
Chimeragon roared as he surfaced, wading through the shallows as he advanced up the beach. Gigan shrieked as he revved his belly saw, before charging forward, hammer claws ready to rend and tear. But Chimeragon heard him coming, and had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Even though his opponent was a cyborg, most of his brain was intact and continued to generate mental energy. And that was all the alien chimera needed.
He sidestepped as Gigan swung, then drove one of his spear blades into the cyborg's chest, inviting a spray of blood as the appendage sank into the semi-metallic armor coating. Gigan shrieked again and managed to back off, before swinging wide with another hammer claw. But Chimeragon heard that one coming too, and parried with one arm spear, before driving the other one into the cyborg's gut. More blood and lubricants sprayed from the wound as Gigan writhed in agony. However, the Nebulan kaiju countered, using hsi free arm to rip a gash across Chimeragon's face. Blood welled in the wound, as Chimeragon shrieked and fired a pair of lightnign blasts at point blank range. The powerful electric current wreaked all manner of havoc on the cyborg's internal workings.
Chimeragon took advantage of the temporary lull in his foe's attacks to drive both arm spears into Gigan's chest, then lift the cyborg up, before lunging forward with hsi forehead horn. A shimmering field enveloped the blade, almost like a heat mirage, as Gigan shrieked in agony, his chest cut open by a seemingly invisible force. Chimeragon snapped his neck up, sending the pscionic energy blade through Gigan's face, severing control mechanisms and nervous tissue in one fell stroke. Gigan collapsed to the ground, dead before he even hit the sand.
As Chimeragon prepared to return to the water for somewhere less dangerous, a barrage of missiles exploded against hsi back. Chimeragon roared in agony as he whipped around. He detected no mental signals, but hsi echolocation quickly revealed the source of his troubles. Mechagodzilla Showa stood before him, preparing to launch another volley. Chimeragon beat his wings and took to the skies, as the missiles exploded on the ground where he had stood moments previously. The alien doppleganger shrieked as he launched more missiles and lasers at the fleeing monster, but Chimeragon was faster now, and they had no hopes of even touching him. He rained lightning down on his foe, but the space titanium clad machine absorbed the damage with seemingly little effort.
Mechagodzilla launched himself after his quarry, firing his eye lasers as he went. but Chimeragon heard all this, and managed to avoid most of the damage. A few shots grazed his flanks, scorching patches of skin in their path. As Mechagodzilla began to gain on him in their dogfight, Chimeragon suddenly pulled up and back, ending up practically on top of his foe. The organ on his chest opened, as a greyish mist billowed out, enveloping his foe and obscuring him from view. Mechagodzilla turned to fire up at his enemy, when he began to notice hsi joints stiffening. The mist had quickly solidifed into a tony casing, covering the machine from head to toe, clogging exhaust vents and boosters alike. The mech crashed to the ground, as the stony covering shattered on impact. But before he could stand, Chimeragon smashed into hsi chest, feet first, before driving his arm spears through the machine's eyes. Sparks erupted in a brilliant dispaly as Chimeragon wrenched back and forth, before finally tearing most of his enemy's head off.
With two corpses on the beach, Chimeragon tried again to flee, when a powerful heat beam struck him in the chest. He hadn't been paying attention, and Fire Rodan caught him off guard. But now that Chimeragon was alerted to hsi prescense, things would change. he flapped his wings, taking off after his foe, and quickly gained ground on the smaller kaiju. Rodan squawked as Chimeragon latched on to him from behind, before driving his psionic energy blade through his foe's spine, severing it instantly and allowing the corpse to plummet back to Earth.
Chimeragon landed, taking full stock of the situation first, when he noticed thr ground rumbling beneath him. He barely managed to sidestep as the sands collapsed, revealing Baragon beneath him. The smaller monster roared and leapt forth, proppeled by powerful hind limbs, before he latched on to Chimeragon's arm spear. Like a dog with a bone, Baragon held fast. Small fractures began to form on the bony appendage as his powerufl jaws crushed it. Chimeragon roared as he lifted his arm, leaving Baragon to dangle off it like a fish on a hook, before stabbing him in the belly with his other spear. Baragon wheezed, but refused to let go, his own tenacity proving to be his undoing, as Chimeragon forced the bony weapon out Baragon's back, before dropping the body, leaving another for the cleanup crews.
This time, he was sure no other monsters were coming, and he dove back intot he water, beginnign his search for somewhere more peaceful. But sadly, his trip was interuppted by one ladt foe, as Manda began to surface from the depths. The sea serpent hissed t him and lunged forward, ready to strike. Chimeragon parried with his arm spear, but Manda bit into it and began to coil around his foe, pinning his free arm tight. Chimeragon didn't need to breath, so that wasn't a problem. however, having his ribs crushed did not help any, so he lashed out with his tail, imbedding the larger blade in Manda's back. The serpent roared in agony as the alien stabbed again and again, inviting fresh gouts of blood with each strike.
Manda's grip loosened as he tried to escape, but Chimeragon woudl have none of it. He loosed a blast fo sound waves, stunning Manda, before biting down on his head, his own beaky mouth snapping armor scales and bone with ease as he crushed Manda's spine. The serpent loosed, then hung limp, defeated by his superior opponent. Chimeragon left the body for the sharks as he headed off to somewhere less hectic.
