Spacegodzilla hovered a dozen meters above the devastated city. It had taken men fifty years to build this city; it had taken Spacegodzilla less than fifteen seconds to destroy it.
But he could sense the others-those foolish enough to challenge his reign. Godzilla and Burning Godzilla came first. Burning Godzilla immediately went into a full assault, blasting Spacegodzilla from the front with his burning ray. But Spacegodzilla merely caught it in his Corona Web, and began to rip the beam from Burning Godzilla’s body. Godzilla took advantage of this and moved to the side to outflank Spacegodzilla. Once in a good position, he let his own beam loose. It got within ten meters of Spacegodzilla before he generated a crystal shield and deflected the beam back at its user, burning his head and face.
Once he had his fill of Burning Godzilla’s beam, he let the other kaiju stop long enough to embed his legs in crystal. The crystal began to grow, covering Burning Godzilla. Though he struggled and was able to slow their progress, he was eventually consumed by them and his energy began to drain and fuel Spacegodzilla. Turning his attention to Godzilla, Spacegodzilla began to charge a beam of his own, but then in a burst of gravity and telekinetic enhanced speed, rushed Godzilla and flying tackled him. The blow was sufficient to break both of Godzilla’s shoulders, all of his ribs, mash his spine, and mangle his organs. He hit the ground hard a few hundred meters away, still breathing and beginning to regenerate.
But a new threat was nearly there, one which Spacegodzilla detected through energy variations in his crystal field. Just as Destroyah, in its flying form, was about to fly overhead and attack from the side, Spacegodzilla “jumped” up and sent energy coursing through his crystals. Destroyah didn’t have time to change course, and had her chest and abdomen ripped open by the large, jagged crystals. As the demonic beast crash landed, it swerved to the side and broke apart, changing mid-crash from its flying form to its final form.
Now behind Spacegodzilla, it shrieked a roar of challenge at the God-beast. Spacegodzilla turned around to face it, and as he did, he broke up the crystals that had covered Burning Godzilla and brought them down on the recovering Godzilla as he tried to stand. Godzilla was dead; every part of his body was pierced by massive, jagged crystals which were now absorbing his dying energy. Burning Godzilla had been dead for some time: he had been drained so completely that his meltdown was averted, and instead he turned into ash, which blew away once the supporting crystals were gone.
Destroyah lumbered forward, and Spacegodzilla could see her drawing energy to her horn. She reared back and then brought her head down on Spacegodzilla, who instead of dodging turned into it. The blow hit his shoulder and cut into his skin, but once it came into contact with his own energy coursing through his body, Destroyah was hit with feedback that caused her to stumble backward. Spacegodzilla used this to his advantage and stepped forward, grabbing Destroyah’s arms and pulling. They came off easily. Shrieking in pain, Destroyah took to the sky, not eager to lose her life this battle. But she never had a chance. Spacegodzilla unleashed a massive corona beam, and deftly wrapped it around her body and then pulled it in. Destroyah was completely vaporized; there wasn’t enough left for her to regenerate from.
Spacegodzilla paused for a second, smiled internally, and turned around. He had wondered when the humans would send defense to their city. Eight white mechs stood before him, all armed with huge paddle-like weapons. One of them shifted slightly and the fight was on. Spacegodzilla blew them all a hundred meters away, and sent them tumbling with a psychic shockwave. As they got up, he formed six crystals around him, and then cracking filled the air as they super-hardened to an indestructible state.
Two of the machines had recovered, and charged Spacegodzilla. Spacegodzilla shot the six crystals at one; they ripped right through it, turning it into a bloody pile of twitching, mangled organic machine. The crystals then shot straight up into the air, and came straight down on top of it, hammering it into little more than a puddle of blood and fluid.
Just as the second Mass Production Evangelion reached Spacegodzilla, the galactic terror warped. The machine paused for a second, only to look up when it was too late. Spacegodzilla teleport stomped the mech, and crushed it into a three meter thick mess. Spacegodzilla roared in thrill of combat as the other six charged at him. Three of the remaining mechs ran to his sides and behind him, as the other three went straight in. Spacegodzilla caught one that was flanking him with his tail, stabbing him and lifting him into the air with ease. With a single pulse of burning energy, two halves of the mech went flying in opposite directions. The other two were simply telekinetically pushed aside.
Spacegodzilla took the offensive against the three charging him from the front. He charged towards them, and grabbed the first by the head and easily crushed it with one hand. As he moved forward he used his tail to cut the twitching cyborg in half vertically. He met the second almost immediately, but dealt with it just as quickly, pushing its face back with one hand and punching through its core with the other.
The third of those stupid enough to attack from the front leapt into the air with the intent of bringing its heavy lance down on Spacegodzilla’s head. Instead it was met with a corona blitz: a dozen beams arcing from Spacgodzilla’s many crystals, and the coup de grace from his mouth. Nothing was left but a scorched lance.
Making sure to crush the head of the Mass Production unit he had punched the core out of, Spacegodzilla turned to face the final two. One of his crystals came soaring in from behind him towards the unit on his left. Just before it hit it, it turned to pure energy and was embedded in its chest where it turned back to solid. Then light began to pulse from it...and seconds later it exploded in a tremendous explosion. There wasn’t anything left but a lance.
Facing the last one, Spacegodzilla smiled inwardly. Too easy. He psychokinetically ripped its lance out of its hands and brought it to him, followed by all seven of the other lances. He laid each lance horizontally in front of him, and then had a vertical column of all eight horizontal lances. Then they started spinning. The Mass Production Evangelion never had a chance; it was held there by Spacegodzilla’s telekinetic strength, and the column of death finally reached it. Ribbons of the organic machine were spread everywhere.
It wasn’t over. Three new machines stood to challenge him. He was ready to meet the call. The first, a red one, charged him, immediately initiating combat. As a demonstration of his power to the other two, he stopped her in her tracks, forced it into a horizontal spread-eagle position, lifted it to about the other two mechs’ chest heights, and then began to bend it and its limbs back to a single point. If the machine could, it would scream. If it had a pilot, they undoubtedly were. Blood began to ooze from the joints and crevices, dripping onto the streets below. One of the others, a purple and green one, ran to the red one and tried to stop Spacegodzilla from breaking it. It was futile.
The third one had a different strategy however: it ran straight towards Spacegodzilla. When it reached him, it didn’t attack, it didn’t start a dodge, it just paused for a brief second. Then it blew up. Unit 01 looked up in time to see Unit 00 self-destruct. The explosion threw Unit 01 back, and blasted most of the crystals in the area into oblivion. As the smoke was clearing, Unit 01 stood up and took a few tentative steps forward, placing near Unit 02. Then he heard the crack of armor and skin, and the squish of blood. Unit 02 broke; it was basically pulled apart while being left in one piece. After breaking its twitching form somewhat more, Spacegodzilla let it drop to the ground where it became limp and just bled.
Spacegodzilla stood in the clearing smoke. The blast had damaged him, but it didn’t matter. He was already almost healed, and in the end all Unit-00’s self destruct did was eliminate one of his opponents.
Unit 01 dropped to its knees and began to shake. Then stood up with its head down, and then lifted it towards Spacegodzilla and bellowed with rage. It had gone berserk. Spacegodzilla once again drew the eight lances to him, and covered them in crystal. As he did so, their true for was revealed, and then covered by jagged crystal points and serrations. Spacegodzilla attacked with all eight lances at once, but in a flurry of surprising agility, Unit 01 leapt out of the blitz and into Spacegodzilla face with only minor damage. Spacegodzilla wasn’t just going to let an opening go by though; he ripped into Unit-01 with his cosmic beam, only to have it deflected by an AT-field. Unit-01 now had an opening, and it took it.
The machine howled again and punched Spacegodzilla at the base of his neck with all of his might. It depressed Spacegodzilla’s skin somewhat, but against his super-dense composition, it was futile. Spacegodzilla countered by punching the Evangelion in its gut, through the AT-field, the force of the blow breaking the armor on its back and sending it flying in large chunks. As the Evangelion started to fall, Spacegodzilla reached and grabbed its throat and the base of its head. He squeezed just a little, and crushed in the part he was holding.
The Evangelion tried to struggle and break his grip, but was unsuccessful. Spacegodzilla then let go as he psychokinetically forced the machine into a crucifix position and lifted it into the air. He held it there a moment, and then brought all eight crystallized lances to it. One in each hand, two in the legs-one above the other near the feet, three in the chest, and one in the head. He let it hang there for a day as a witness that his reign was now unchallenged. Finally, he grew tired of its presence and opened a black hole behind it. He let the lances come back to him: they were valuable as weapons, and they were trophies of his fight. Then he lifted the remains of those others that had opposed him towards the black hole. He took great pleasure in watching what was left of them be obliterated by his power.
