After having traveled for days in the depths of the cold waters, Bigor had at last come across a large piece of land that he hoped would be able to feed him. While the temperature of the water was cold and pleasing to him, he yearned for more. He hoped to find perhaps a volcano or magma stream.
His head broke the surface first, followed by the rest of his body. But before he could go any further, he felt something tugging at him, holding him back. He looked behind him to see Showa Ebirah holding onto his leg. He heard a screech from the other direction, and turned to see GFW Ebirah headed towards him as well, the two giant lobsters appeared to be working together.
Bigor’s lips curled back, revealing his jagged teeth. Before GFW Ebirah could reach it’s partner, Bigor struck the Showa one with his jaws, his powerful muscles forcing the teeth lining his maw right through the tough exterior of Showa Ebirah’s shell. The beast screeched in pain and let go of Bigor’s leg.
Using his immense physical strength, Bigor grabbed Showa Ebirah and lifted him above his head, then threw him into his GFW counterpart. With both Ebirah momentarily stunned, Bigor started charging up his beam. His body became hot, and the water around him began boiling. After about 10 seconds or so, Bigor let loose the beam, striking GFW Ebirah dead on. The massive heat from the blast cooked his outer shell and roasted his insides, while the force pushed it back several meters.
GFW Ebirah sank beneath the waves, dead. His Showa counterpart realized it was badly outmatched, and retreated. Bigor let out a roar of victory and came ashore.
His powerful legs shook the ground with each step, and alerted the other inhabitants of the island of his arrival. Bigor was soon to find out that he had landed on Monster Island, where virtually all the world’s Kaiju had migrated. Monster Island had once been known as Australia, but all humans had long ago been driven off the land by the hundreds of kaiju that flocked to it. Even space monsters had claimed the island as theirs.
Within minutes of his arrival on the land, Bigor heard the approach of two more beings, one on either side of him. The trees moved, betraying their location to him. He roared a challenge to them, demanding that they show themselves. Out of the brush, GFW Kumonga and Showa Kumonga emerged. The two spiders worked together regularly to make meals out of new kaiju that arrived on the island, and Bigor was next on the menu.
At least, that was the plan.
First, GFW Kumonga fired his webbing into the air, the yellow rope-like substance expanding into a net and landing on Bigor. Showa Kumonga followed this up by firing his own webbing, the sticky white strands helping his GFW counterpart’s webbing to stay in place.
With Bigor confused and limited, both spiders moved in for the kill. But Bigor still had a trick up his sleeve. He charged up his heat beam, and his body temperature rises burning off the webbing. Neither Kumonga were expecting this, and they both panic. Before either can do anything, Bigor unleashes his heat beam at Showa Kumonga, and the spider is set ablaze. Shocked, GFW Kumonga uses it’s superior jumping ability to leap at Bigor, but this proves fatal. One swipe from his arm crest cleaves the massive arachnid in two, cutting it’s abdomen completely off.
Bigor continues onward, crushing his way through the trees until he comes across a cave, and all around it, giant moth-like creatures resided. This was clearly the territory of the Mothras. Showa Mothra, Heisei Mothra, Mothra Leo, GFW Mothra, and GMK Mothra were all in plain sight, with their larva no doubt in the cave. Mothra Leo chirped a warning to the others. Bigor simply looked at them and, sensing no source of heat or cold, started to move on, not the least bit interested in fighting these things if no cold or heat could be found.
Another hours worth of exploration of this new place, and Bigor came across the territory of the ravenous Showa Kamacuras swarm. His approach able to be seen and heard miles away, he was greeted by 5 of the insects immediately. One jumped in, claws extended in hopes of skewering him, but one swipe of his hand brushed the insect away, and a quick blast of cold ensured it wouldn’t be bothering him for another minute or so. Two more approached him, and the massive beast charged in, intent on some melee action. He shot his neck out and grabbed one Kamacurus’ head in his jaws, biting down and crushing its skull in a display of gore. He pulled up and the head was torn from the body and then flung across the battlefield as the decapitated corpse fell to the ground, still twitching.
The other Kamacurus jumped on Bigor’s back, trying to sink its teeth into his flesh. He reached back and grabbed the smaller kaiju, slamming it down to the ground. With the other two Kamacurus heading for him, he brought his massive tree-trunk leg down on the other’s head, crushing it. He charged his heat beam for several seconds as the other two hesitated, a move that proved fatal for them.
Bigor unleashed a searing blast of heat that caused both giant insect to catch fire, their eyes popping as their screams filled the air, if only for a few seconds. The last Kamacurus, having recovered from it’s earlier thrashing, saw it’s comrades either charred or missing their head, and decided to retreat.
The massive Bigor continued his journey, eventually coming across the territory of Zilla. Zila roared a warning to Bigor to get out of his home, but he just ignored the smaller beast. Angered, Zilla charged in and jumped at Bigor, taking him off-guard and sinking his teeth into the long, exposed neck of the giant.
Bigor roared in surprise and anger and clasped his hands around Zilla’s throat, pulling him off forcefully. Bigor used his superior strength to throw Zilla to the ground and roared loudly at him, warning him not to attack again. But the scrappy mutant iguana refused to heed the warning, and leaped at Bigor again. With no other alternative before him, Bigor slashed at Zilla with his crest, cleaving a large opening in his gut. Blood poured out and Zilla groaned, his body going cold. Zilla crawled away, hoping to somehow recover from his massive injury as Bigor simply continued onward.
Before long, Bigor saw what he had been hoping to see on the horizon, a volcano! But it was still far away, another good days travel or so. But he quickened his pace, ignoring the fact that the land was suddenly devoid of any life, kaiju, animal, and plant. He didn’t know it, but he’d traversed into the domain of one of the most feared groups on Monster Island, second only to the domain of the Godzillas.
Not long into his unintentional invasion did one of the guardians of this desolate waste of land make it’s presence known. Kaiser Ghidorah let out its trademark cry, letting Bigor know that this region was controlled by the Ghidorahs! As he’d done with Zilla, Bigor acknowledged Kaiser Ghidorah with little more then a snort and continued on. But Kaiser would have none of that. He fired his gravity beams at Bigor, encasing him in their energy and lifting him off the ground, then sending him careening into a nearby mound of dirt, burying him. The Ghidorah approached the area, looking for signs of life. It found one in a sudden heat beam from Bigor’s maw that punched through the dirt, striking Kaiser on its chest and sending it back several meters.
Bigor exploded out of the earthly tomb and charged the evil kaiju while it was stunned. Kaiser reared up onto its hind legs, looking to bring it’s weight down on Bigor, but Bigor was to quick, he collided with the Ghidorah and toppled it over onto it’s back with him on top.
He gripped the side necks with his hands, choking them, and was about to bite the middle when it beat him to the punch, clamping its jaws down on his neck. With the air cut off from him, Bigo knew his only recourse was to charge up his beam, altering his body temperature. Bigor’s body soon grew cold, the two necks in his hands struggling wildly as the skin his hands were touching started to freeze. The middle head felt it to, Bigor’s neck becoming so cold that it was burning Kaiser’s mouth. It held on as long as it could, but it finally had to let go, and this was fatal.
Bigor had charged his beam up long enough to reach absolute zero temperature. As soon as Kaiser’s middle head let go, he pushed off the Ghidorah, tearing away frozen flesh from the other two heads, and unleashed his beam, striking Kaiser dead on and turning every molecule in it’s body to ice while pushing it back for kilometers, chunks of it’s now ice body breaking off as it did so.
When the attack finally stopped, Kaiser Ghidorah was now in pieces all over the battlefield, what was left of it was barely recognizable, and would melt away as the day progressed.
Bigor continued on it’s way, but only made it a few hours before running into another Ghidorah, the Showa incarnation. Showa dropped right down onto Bigor, but that proved to be extremely lucky for Bigor and life ending for Ghidorah. The angle he dropped at lined up all three of his necks up perfectly, and one swipe from Bigor’s crest decapitated it thrice over.
Bigor continued.
The remaining four Ghidorahs (Heisei, Grand, Des, and GMK) didn’t attack Bigor the rest of the way. The rival Godzillas already heavily outnumbered them, and once they found out the Ghidorahs were down by two, they’d doubtless be facing raids by the Godzillas for their territory, and they couldn’t afford any more losses.
By days end, Bigor finally arrived to his destination, the volcano. But he saw that he had one last obstacle before him. Rodans had already claimed the volcano. Showa, Heisei, and GFW Rodan circled the air, letting out their trademark cackles. Bigor let out a loud roar, telling the residents on no uncertain terms that they had to pack up and move out.
Their response was less then positive.
GFW Rodan swooped in and struck Bigor, knocking him off his feet. He unleashed a quick blast of heat, but the Rodan skillfully avoided the attack. Heisei Rodan continued the assault, striking Bigor with his Uranium Heat Beam. While Bigor’s body absorbed the heat, the blast itself still hurt. He got up with malicious intent in his eyes. He unleashed a blast of cold at the nearest Rodan, the Showa one, that nailed its wing, sending it to the ground near him. He stomped toward it, looking to destroy it. But Showa’s GFW counterpart refused to let that happen. It swooped in and started pecking at his back, leaving gashes as it did so.
Heisei Rodan joined in taking the front and ensuring Showa Rodan enough time to recover and take the skies again. Unfortunately for Heisei Rodan, being in front of Bigor ensured that he’d be able to grab him, and grab him he did. Grasping his throat with one hand, Bigor swatted GFW Rodan away with his other, slashing it with his crest. GFW was forced to back off, and Bigor turned and slammed Heisei right on top of GFW Rodan, then pinned them both down and startetd charging up his heat beam.
Showa Rodan swooped in to return the favor his brethren did for him earlier, clawing at Bigor’s back, but his body was becoming very hot now, and Showa couldn’t land on him to do any real damage. He watched in horror as Bigor unleashed a blast at point blank range at the other two. The beam punched large holes in both their wings and both were burned badly.
Bigor turned to Showa Rodan, ready to attack him as well. Rodan hovered in the air a few moments, then glided over to the other two, covering them with his body, ready to accept his fate and not wanting to live without the companionship of the others.
Bigor grunted, looking at them. For a moment, he was still. Then, slowly, he turned to the volcano, and then back to the beaten Rodans. Finally, Bigor decided that absorbing heat appealed to him more then killing three helpless creatures. He lumbered off, issuing a final roar of victory.
The Rodans started to crawl off. It would take time, a lot of time, but their wings would heal. Showa Rodan would have to take care of them and find them food, and there was still the possibility that they’d be attacked by another kaiju, but for now, they were alive, and the possibility to take a piece of unclaimed land for themselves some point down the road existed.
His head broke the surface first, followed by the rest of his body. But before he could go any further, he felt something tugging at him, holding him back. He looked behind him to see Showa Ebirah holding onto his leg.
