Neo-Spacegodzilla demonstration battle
As Neo-Spacegodzilla flies through the air, his body begins to glow brightly. Like a meteor of light, he slams into the ground with tremendous force, causing a massive explosion. Within seconds, hundreds of massive crystals begin to erupt from the earth around the impact site.
The smoke begins to dissipate, revealing Neo-Spacegodzilla standing in the middle of all chaos. He roars and looks around, surveying the area. He is in a gigantic, open, sandy area. There is a large body of water off in the distance ahead of him, and forest on either side and behind him.
Elsewhere...
“Begin the test,” a mysterious voice says.
Immediately, back where Neo-Spacegodzilla is, a shimmer appears several hundred meters off to Neo-Spacegodzilla’s left. He quickly turns to see what it is. The shimmer turns into a glow, which begins to take a definite form. With a final, bright flash, the glow disappears, revealing Desghidorah standing there. The creature trumpets at Neo-Spacegodzilla, who immediately answers with a roar of his own. He draws energy from his crystals on the ground to his shoulder crystals in preparation for the battle.
Desghidorah trumpets again and charges forward. Neo-Spacegodzilla retaliates by unleashing his Corona beam upon the three-headed beast. The beam strikes Desghidorah, tearing into his flesh. Neo-Spacegodzilla senses a counterattack. Sure enough, Desghidorah fires off a volley of Lava Gout fireballs. Neo-Spacegodzilla raises his shield. The fireballs strike the shield, washing harmlessly across its surface.
Desghidorah continues charging forward, despite the wound on his shoulder inflicted by the Corona beam. Just as his opponent reaches the edge of his fortress, two emerald bolts of energy arc from Neo-Spacegodzilla’s shoulder crystals and strike Desghidorah, instantly freezing him in place. The creature tries to struggle, but it’s no use. He is trapped in Neo-Spacegodzilla’s Gravity Tornado. Desghidorah is lifted a good 100 meters above the ground, then hurled over 3 kilometers through the air, in the direction of the body of water.
Neo-Spacegodzilla’s eyes glow crimson as he floats up off the ground and hovers over to his fallen opponent. As Desghidorah slowly gets to his feet, Neo-Spacegodzilla gently touches down a couple hundred meters away. The Ghidoran trumpets and unleashes his Fiery Pyre Road. However, Neo-Spacegodzilla knew the attack was coming before it was even made, and simply hovers out of its path. Desghidorah roars in frustration and charges forward, breathing his Hell’s Flame as he does so. But before he can get close enough for the flames to do any damage, the equivalent of a psychic uppercut slams into his chin, slamming his jaw shut and throwing his head back.
Desghidorah rears up, trying to bring his massive weight crashing down on Neo-Spacegodzilla. This is a terrible mistake. Neo-Spacegodzilla hovers forward and slams his fist into the wound on Desghidorah’s shoulder, and begins surging energy through it. Desghidorah cries out in agony as smoke begins to rise from the wound. But Neo-Spacegodzilla continues to surge energy into his opponent. After nearly 30 seconds, smoke begins to rise from all three of Desghidorah’s mouths. Neo-Spacegodzilla hovers up into the air, lifting Desgidorah off the ground using only the strength of his arm. He then tosses the creature aside like a piece of trash, in the direction of the water.
Desghidorah comes to a stop a couple hundred meters from the edge of the water in a crumpled, smoking heap. He barely has enough strength to move at all, let alone get up. Neo-Spacegodzilla slowly stomps over to him, then kicks him in the ribs to roll him over onto his back. He looks down disdainfully at the pitiful creature in front of him. It would be his pleasure to end its feeble existence.
He looks over at the ground a hundred or so meters from Desghidorah’s tail, and summons a crystal up from the earth there. He lifts Desghidorah up with his telekinesis, then places him over the crystal. His face slowly turns from a menacing scowl, to a sadistic grin. With that, he drops Desghidorah onto the crystal. The creature lay there on his back, the crystal driven completely through him, wailing in agony and flailing his legs around.
Neo-Spacegodzilla’s eyes begin to glow a bright crimson as he looks down at Desghidorah. Five crystals rise off the ground on the outskirts of Neo-Spacegodzilla’s fortress and position themselves above Desghidorah.
Two of the crystals suddenly drop, nailing both of Desghidorah’s wings to the ground. Desghidorah cries out and struggles weakly in an attempt to escape. This, of course, fails miserably. But Neo-Spacegodzilla isn't finished yet. Oh no, far from it. He is going to make his opponent suffer as long as possible. He drops another crystal, this time onto Desghidorah's left head. The crystal drives straight through the head, nailing it to the ground, instantly silencing its cries. This causes the other two heads to cry out even louder. Neo-Spacegodzilla repeats the process with Desghidorah's right head.
This leaves the middle head. It trumpets feebly, attempting to raise off the ground. Spacegodzilla lets out a low growl, and drops the last crystal. All movement from Desghidorah instantly ceases.
Neo-Spacegodzilla roars in triumph, but he is cut short by another roar. He immediately turns to face the source. A green humanoid is standing knee-deep in the water, staring at him. It is Gaira, the green gargantua. The creature roars again, and rushes at Neo-Spacegodzilla. Neo-Spacegodzilla simply stands there, waiting for his opponent.
Gaira obliges, and the two lock hands, grappling with each other. They struggle for a moment, but Neo-Spacegodzilla quickly proves he is stronger. He forces Gaira to a knee, then begins surging energy through his hands. Gaira tries to pull away, but Neo-Spacegodzilla retains his grip. Not only that, but he fires off bolts of energy from his shoulder crystals to further weaken the creature.
Gaira goes limp, smoke rising from several places on his body. Neo-Spacegodzilla slings him away. The gargantua lands with a heavy thud a couple hundred meters away. Neo-Spacegodzilla know the creature is not dead, and that he could easily finish it right then and there. But he doesn’t.
Gaira stirs, and slowly begins to get to his feet. Neo-Spacegodzilla sees an opening, and quickly hovers forward. No sooner does Gaira fully get to his feet, than he is kneed in the gut by Neo-Spacegodzilla, causing him to stumble back, clenching his stomach. Neo-Spacegodzilla quickly spins around while still in the air, striking Gaira with his tail and sending the creature flying.
Again, Gaira lands with a heavy thud, this time rolling a few times after he does so. Once again, he slowly rises to his feet. This time, however, Neo-Spacegodzilla fires his Corona beam at the creature. The beam strikes Gaira in the stomach, slightly off-center to the right, instantly punching through his skin and wreaking all sorts of havoc on his innards. He stumbles back, howling in pain, before falling over.
Neo-Spacegodzilla senses that his opponent is still alive, albeit just barely. He will soon rectify this. He picks Gaira’s limp body up with his telekinesis, rotates it so that the creature is upside-down, and repeatedly slams it into the ground head-first, using him like a gigantic, fleshy, piledriver. With each slam, a larger red stain appears in the head-shaped imprint.
After the twentieth slam, Neo-Spacegodzilla stops. His opponent is dead, but he’s not quite finished yet. He brings Gaira’s corpse up to him and grabs its head with one hand, then twists. There is a sickening crack, followed by the tearing of flesh. He releases his telekinetic hold on Gaira’s body, allowing it to fall to the ground. He drops the severed head a moment later.
Suddenly, Neo-Spacegodzilla senses a presence headed toward him from behind. Just as he turns to see what it is, it passes over him, accompanied by a loud buzzing sound. He turns back around, but sees nothing. He closes his eyes, spreading his consciousness, searching for the presence. After a few seconds, his eyes snap open. He immediately fires a Corona beam at the edge of the trees. The Corona beam connects, followed by an explosion. The smoking carcass of GFW Kamacuras falls to the ground, the entire front half of its body blown off.
Just seconds later, another presence makes itself known, this one is from the water. Neo-Spacegodzilla looks and sees Dagahra rising from the water. The sea monster roars and fires its Irabushan beam at Neo-Spacegodzilla, but it is simply deflected by the crystalline shield. Before Neo-Spacegodzilla can retaliate, Dagahra has sunken back beneath the water.
Growling in frustration, Neo-Spacegodzilla hovers out over the water to deal with the annoyance. When he gets a good distance from the shore, above obviously deeper water, a huge waterspout suddenly surges up out of nowhere and envelops him.
After several seconds of being thrown around, Neo-Spacegodzilla catches himself and hovers in the middle of the cyclone. The evil red glow of his eyes can be seen even through the tempestuous waters of the waterspout. Unleashing a roar of pure anger, he literally blows the cyclone apart with an explosion of psychic energy.
Neo-Spacegodzilla hovers there, bolts of psionic energy dancing across his body. The mild burns caused by the Barem are fully healed almost instantly by his regeneration. He looks down at the water in utter rage. Bolts of green energy shoot from his shoulder crystals and into the water. Seconds later, the paralyzed form of Desghidorah is pulled from the waves. Snarling his malice, Neo-Spacegodzilla hurls the stunned creature towards the shore.
Dagahra crashes down on the beach and skids for well over two hundred meters, leaving a trench in the sand as he does to. Neo-Spacegodzilla touches down shortly afterward, a few dozen meters behind Dagahra, then fires his Corona beam at the creature’s back. The beam tears and blasts away at Dagahra’s flesh, causing him to roar in pain. Neo-Spacegodzilla eventually stops the onslaught, leaving his opponent’s back a burned, bloody mess.
Several crystals rise off of the ground in Neo-Spacegodzilla’s fortress and begin to pulsate with energy. Dagahra attempts to crawl away, but can’t. The crystals rain down on him one by one, but in rapid succession. Each crystal explodes in a flash of light and shower of crystal shards on impact. Dagahra’s anguished cries can be heard over the first few explosions, but cease shortly afterward. Neo-Spacegodzilla drops a total of fifteen crystals on his opponent before stopping, despite the fact that he knew it was dead at around the eighth crystal.
Once the dust settles, Neo-Spacegodzilla is pleased with what he finds. Dagahra’s corpse isn’t even recognizable; it’s just a smouldering pile of flesh covered in millions of crystal shards.
Neo-Spacegodzilla realizes that he feels slightly drained. The Barem must have drained some of his energy in the short time they were attached to him. No matter, he had a nigh-limitless energy source less than three kilometers away (a very short distance for a creature so large). As he begins to hover back to his fortress, the presence of two powerful minds catches his attention. He turns around and sees Heisei Mothra and Mothra Leo heading right for him.
Neo-Spacegodzilla lets out a low growl, then draws energy from his fortress into his shoulder crystals. Feeling recharged, he is more than ready to face these new opponents. But before he can take the initiative, they both open fire upon him. He raises his shield, allowing the beams to harmlessly deflect off of it. Mothra Leo suddenly accelerates and passes over Neo-Spacegodzilla. He turns to follow the insect, but suddenly finds himself surrounded by what appears to be golden dust. Heisei Mothra is above him, raining down her scales.
But Neo-Spacegodzilla makes no offensive or defensive moves. As the lightning bolts spring forth from Mothra’s wings, they are drawn to Neo-Spacegodzilla’s shoulder crystals, which promptly absorb them. Neo-Spacegodzilla grins as he draws power from every bolt. Realizing her attack is doing no good, Mothra stops using her scales. Neo-Spacegodzilla takes this opportunity to strike. Green bolts of energy leap from his shoulders and strike Mothra, capturing her in the Gravity Tornado. He then swings her around and slams her into Mothra Leo, who was coming up behind him. The impact causes both insects to crash to the ground, Heisei Mothra on top.
Before Neo-Spacegodzilla can move in for the kill, a huge missile impacts his shoulder crystal, causing a huge explosion that envelops him in a cloud of smoke. It was a Spiral Grenade missile, launched by M.O.G.U.E.R.A. Since it has no consciousness, Neo-Spacegodzilla could not sense its arrival.
After several seconds, the smoke begins to clear, revealing Neo-Spacegodzilla standing there, completely unscathed. He turns to face M.OG.U.E.R.A., rage burning in his eyes, and fires his Corona beam at the mech. M.OG.U.E.R.A. topples over, with a smoking hole in its chest.
With the mech temporarily dealt with, he turns his attention back to his other two opponents. Much to his displeasure, he finds they are no longer where he left them. He quickly relocates them and fires his Corona beam at the closer of the two: Heisei Mothra. The beam punches through Mothra’s wing like tissue paper, causing Mothra to chirp in pain. But Neo-Spacegodzilla isn’t done yet. He makes the beam do a U-turn and punch through the wing on the opposite side. He then turns the beam around again, this time directing it at the center of the insect’s thorax. The beam strikes its intended target, resulting in an explosion.
Mothra crashes to the ground a few moments later, skidding for a couple hundred meters and leaving a blood trail as she does so. Just as he is about to finish off the downed insect with another Corona beam, he senses an attack coming. He raises his shield, deflecting a Cross Heat Laser from Mothra Leo, who is diving at him at about a 45-degree angle directly in front of him. His attack unsuccessful, Mothra Leo veers away from Neo-Spacegodzilla.
Neo-Spacegodzilla is about to counterattack, when he is struck from behind. His eyes begin to glow as he turns around to face M.O.G.U.E.R.A. Several seconds pass. Suddenly, a pair of crystals rocket past Neo-Spacegodzilla and slam into the robot and explode, knocking it to the ground with the majority of its chest armor ripped off.
Almost immediately, green powder begins to rain down on Neo-Spacegodzilla. It’s Mothra Leo, and he’s using his pain inducing powder on Neo-Spacegodzilla. The powder does what it is supposed to, and does, in fact, cause Neo-Spacegodzilla pain. However, the success is cut short as Neo-Spacegodzilla catches the powder with his telekinesis, and hurls it right back in Mothra Leo’s face. The insect chirps in pain from being struck by his own attack, but manages to continue flying. Neo-Spacegodzilla quickly rectifies this as well. He catches Mothra Leo with his Gravity Tornado, positions the bug over the grounded Heisei Mothra, and repeatedly slams him down on top of her.
With each slam, Neo-Spacegodzilla feels Heisei Mothra’s life fade away, until it disappears completely. As he continues to slam Mothra Leo down on the dead Heisei Mothra, he figures the insect has been sufficiently beaten senseless, and turns his attention to M.O.G.U.E.R.A. It is good timing, as the robot is taking aim with its Spiral Grenade missiles, and fires them a moment later.
Neo-Spacegodzilla’s eyes flare open and glow brightly as the missiles streak towards him. They stop in mid-air a few dozen meters short of their target, held in place by Neo-Spacegodzilla’s telekinesis. Sensing Mothra Leo regaining consciousness, he quickly spins around and hurls the two missiles at the moth. The missiles detonate on contact with Mothra Leo, blowing holes in his weakened frame, killing him instantly.
Neo-Spacegodzilla hears M.O.G.U.E.R.A. rolling toward him on its treads, its drill whirring. His tail raises up, much like a cobra, then, when the robot is within striking distance, lashes out in a fashion also similar to said serpent. The tail stabs into the mech’s abdomen, right through the armored cover for the cannon located there, and explodes out the back of the machine.
Neo-Spacegodzilla cranes his head to look behind him at his skewered opponent. He gives a sadistic grin as he lifts it up off the ground and surges energy into it. He watches with pleasure as eruptions of sparks fly off of the machine’s surface. After a good ten seconds of this, he’s had enough, and with a lash of his tail, sends the mech flying. The robot crashes down about a kilometer away, resulting in a twisted pile of wreckage.
Once again, Neo-Spacegodzilla starts to hover back to his crystal fortress. And once again, he is interrupted by a roar. With an annoyed grunt, he turns to face the source of the roar. It’s Gabara. The warbling, knobby ogre roars again, challenging Neo-Spacegodzilla. Of course, Neo-Spacegodzilla accepts. He roars back and flies at Gabara. As he does so, he turns so that one of his shoulder crystals is pointing straight forward, directly at Gabara. Neo-Spacegodzilla rams into Gabara at tremendous speed, driving his shoulder crystal deep into the creature’s stomach. So great is the force of the impact, that the crystal goes through Gabara, several meters of it jut out from his back.
Neo-Spacegodzilla continues flying forward, taking Gabara with him, before abruptly stopping. Gabara’s inertia keeps him going, tearing him off of the crystal and sending him to the ground. He rolls along the ground for well over 300 meters before coming to a rest on his back. He gurgles weakly before dying from the gaping hole in his midsection.
To make sure he is finally finished, Neo-Spacegodzilla scans the area with his mind. Finding nothing, he hovers back to his crystal fortress, content with the suffering and death he has inflicted.
“Test complete... for now.” says the mysterious voice.

Scorpius demonstration battle
Scorpius looks around. He's in the middle of a large, open, sandy area, surrounded on three sides by forest, and with a large body of water on the remaining side. He doesn’t know where he is, or even how he got there. He just knows something is not right.
Elsewhere...
“Begin the test,” a mysterious voice says.
Back where Scorpius is, a low rumble can be heard and felt in the ground. Being sensitive to vibration like he is, Scorpius immediately turns to face whatever is making the rumble. He follows it with his eyes as it moves, until it stops. Suddenly, the ground 400 meters in front of him, right where he is staring, explodes, and Megalon emerges from the hole.
Megalon shakes off the dirt and rubble, then roars and clangs his drills together. Scorpius roars back, spreading his claws apart and raising his tail in a full threat display. Megalon’s horn glows with a yellow energy, before unleashing a bolt of lightning at Scorpius. The bolt strikes Scorpius in the face. It doesn’t hurt him a great deal, but it doesn’t feel the least bit pleasant. Now angered, Scorpius roars and charges at his opponent.
In response to the act of aggression, Megalon fires off several Napalm bombs at the arachnid. The first two miss Scorpius, but the next two explode on his hard carapace. Much to Megalon’s surprise, and subsequent confusion, his opponent shows no reaction to the bombs whatsoever. Just before Scorpius reaches him, Megalon leaps up into the air, brings his drills together, and dives into the ground.
Scorpius stops, roaring in frustration. He keeps facing towards where Megalon is as he moves through the ground. Megalon makes an abrupt turn, and heads directly toward Scorpius. Just as Megalon’s drill breaks the surface, Scorpius rears back, avoiding it. He then grabs the drill with both claws and begins to pull, hauling the surprised Megalon out of the ground after just a few seconds.
Megalon manages to get away from Scorpius when the arachnid releases him. However, in what will prove a costly maneuver, he immediately follows up by attacking Scorpius again. Megalon swings his right drill down towards Scorpius’ head, but the scorpion catches it with his claw. Then, in a display of immense power, Scorpius squeezes his pincer harder, shattering the drill that was capable of tearing through earth at mach 3 like it was glass.
Megalon stumbles back, shrieking in agony as he flails his shattered drill about. Not giving his opponent any time to recover, Scorpius is immediately on the attack again. He charges at Megalon, then sweeps his opponent’s legs out from under it with a swing of his claw. No sooner does Megalon hit the ground than Scorpius swings his tail over his head and sprays a stream of acid at Megalon’s face. Megalon shrieks in agony, but only for a few moments. Within seconds, Megalon’s entire face has been dissolved, leaving only a steaming hole.
Scorpius roars in triumph. Just as he goes to feed on the carcass of his fallen foe, he feels another vibration. This time it is in the air, and very high-pitched. He quickly whips around to face this new opponent. The gigantic, purple dragonfly Megaguirus is hovering some 300 meters in front of him. He roars and sprays a stream of acid at the insect, but she simply dodges it. Scorpius tries two more times to hit Megaguirus with his acid, with the same results as the first time.
Enraged, Scorpius roars and charges at Megaguirus, but she vanishes in a blur before he reaches her. She reappears above his head, and before he can react, drives her stinger downward. However, the syringe merely bounces off Scorpius’ chitinous exoskeleton. She tries repeatedly to pierce his armor, but only succeeds in further pissing Scorpius off. He roars and reaches for her with his claws, whereupon she disappears like before.
This time, however, Scorpius knows exactly where she is. He can feel the vibrations of her wings. He remains still for several seconds, then suddenly lashes out directly behind him with his tail. He strikes Megaguirus, swatting her to the ground. He quickly whips around, trying to slam his claw into his opponent, but misses by just meters as she takes off once again. However, his other claw does not miss, and latches onto one of her legs. She shrieks in surprise as he drags her back down. He slams her into the ground to his right side, then to the left, then back to the right. This, combined with Megaguirus’ frantic struggling, is too much strain for the single leg to handle, and it snaps off. Megaguirus, freed from Scorpius’ grasp by the loss of her leg, quickly takes to the air.
Scorpius throws the severed leg away and roars at Megaguirus, whom is hovering well over 500 meters above the ground. With a shriek, the dragonfly dives at the scorpion, building the momentum she’ll need to puncture his armor. Suddenly, Scorpius thrusts his stinger forward, driving the tip into the middle of Megaguirus’ thorax, halting her stinger just meters away from his face. He pumps a mixture of neurotoxin and hemotoxin into her, causing her to instantly fall to the ground, paralyzed and soon to be dead.
Scorpius walks over to the severed leg and grabs it with his claw. He brings it up to his mouth, where his chelicerae begin to work on it. As he begins to settle in for his meal, he feels yet another vibration in the ground. He drops the leg and quickly turns toward the source. Just as he does so, Baragon bursts from the ground. The dinosaur barely has time to pull himself from the ground before Scorpius is upon him. He wraps his claws around Baragon’s neck and pulls him closer, while simultaneously swinging his tail over his head and plunging the stinger into Baragon’s back.
As with Megaguirus, dozens of gallons of venom are pumped into the creature’s body. Scorpius backs off and allows his venom to take effect. Baragon tries to writhe in agony, but his muscles are paralyzed.
Before Baragon can even die, Scorpius is blindsided by several bolts of energy. He roars and turns to face the direction from which they came. Over 800 meters away stands a massive creature with 8 serpentine necks. Scorpius roars and charges forward. Orochi roars back, but does not move. Instead the hydra fires off volley after volley of crimson lightning bolts. Scorpius tries to avoid as many as he can while still charging ahead, but with a bolt from each eye and each mouth, it is impossible to avoid them all. They impact his exoskeleton, but cause little more than flinches. Scorpius will not stop until he reaches this beast and rends it apart.
He raises his tail up and shoots a stream of acid at Orochi, but it is vaporized by a lightning bolt before it can hit anything. He finally makes it within striking distance of his enemy, only to be met with a wall of flame. He stops for a moment, stepping back and shielding his face with his claws. Orochi cackles and continues to pour forth flames from his eight mouths.
But the inferno only manages to deter Scorpius for several seconds. With a roar he rushes forward, through the flames, and grips two of Orochi’s necks in his claws. The torrent of fire ceases, and Orochi roars in surprise. Before the hydra can react, the two necks held in Scorpius’ claws go limp, their spines crushed. The remaining six heads immediately descend upon Scorpius, biting and snapping at his armor. Scorpius tries to fend them off as best he can with his claws and tail, but as soon as one head is swatted away, another latches onto him. He eventually manages to grab hold of one of the heads, and wastes no time in crushing its skull. Shortly after, one has the misfortune of catching his flailing stinger in its mouth, whereupon he sprays acid down its throat. Within a few seconds all that’s left is a bloody stump about half the original length of the neck. A few seconds later, he latches onto another neck. Instead of severing it, this time he tears it clean off. Two other necks meet similar fates not long after.
This leaves Orochi with only a single living head left. Three hang down limply, while four others have been completely removed. In a final, desperate attempt to defeat his opponent, Orochi simultaneously fires three bolts of crimson lightning at Scorpius. Scorpius roars, shrugging off the attack, and thrusts his stinger forward, burying it in Orochi’s chest. Instead of injecting venom, however, he injects acid. Orochi cries out in agony as his innards are dissolved, then falls down dead.
Scorpius backs away from the dead creature and watches for any signs of life. When he sees none, he lets out a long, loud roar of triumph. He then turns around and makes his way back over to Megaguirus. Along the way, he passes by Baragon. What’s left of the dinosaur’s blood oozes out of his nose, mouth, ears, and eyes: the result of Scorpius’ hemotoxin breaking down his blood. Upon reaching Megaguirus’ corpse, Scorpius settles down for his well-earned meal.

Beserk Fuhrer demonstration battle
The Berserk Fuhrer hovers across the sandy expanse. He looks around. A massive sandy area surrounded on 3 sides by forest and by a huge lake on the fourth. He doesn’t know where this place is, or how he got here.
Elsewhere...
“Begin the test,” a mysterious voice says.
The Berserk Fuhrer’s sensors suddenly jump to life. He immediately cuts off his boosters and turns around. A few hundred meters in front of him stands a large, hulking beast. It is Orga. The beast grunts, signaling a challenge to the Berserk Fuhrer. The saurian mech accepts the challenge and roars back.
As Orga lumbers forward, the Berserk Fuhrer flips his Buster Claws forward. He takes aim with his beam cannons, then fires. The beams strike Orga and tear into his flesh, causing him to roar in pain. BF looks on in confusion as the burnt holes in Orga’s flesh seal up just moments after they are made.
With a grunt, Orga begins lumbering toward the Berserk Fuhrer once again. Realizing it will take much heavier firepower to bring this creature down, BF takes aim with his Buster Claws one again. This time, however, the blades begin to glow white and small bolts of electricity snake across them. Then, instead of the narrow, reddish laser bursts, thicker beams of light blue and white energy leap from the barrels and streak toward the hulking beast before him. The twin streams of compressed charged particles rip through Orga’s flesh like tissue, causing the alien to cry out in pain as they instantly rip completely through his shoulders and exit out his back. BF sweeps the beams out to the sides, utterly destroying Orga’s shoulders. Orga’s imperfect regeneration can’t cope with such extensive damage, but it makes no difference anyway because the wounds are burnt black, cauterized by the heat of the beams.
With a roar, BF swings the beams in again, this time aiming lower. Orga’s massive hands are cut off at the elbows, while the beams continue on and burn deep into his pelvis. BF finally ceases the assault, allowing the glow to disappear from his Buster Claws and steam to rise from the barrels at their centers. With a roar, his boosters come to life, launching him toward Orga at high speed. He keeps his Buster Claws pointed forward, their blades sticking straight ahead. The alien it too busy roaring and flailing his smoking arm stumps in pain to notice the saurian mech barreling toward him like a demonic jouster.
The Berserk Fuhrer plows into Orga with enough force to drive him backwards for close to 100 meters. The six blades of the Buster Claws plunge into Orga’s body with no resistance. The blades impale clear through the beast’s upper body, the only thing stopping them from going further being the base of the Claws. Orga wails in pain before fruitlessly trying to bite the Berserk Fuhrer’s head. BF returns Orga’s frustrated grunts with a roar of his own before hefting the alien up off the ground. A moment later he surges electricity through his Buster Claws. Orga squeals in agony as his body is cooked by the assault. He flails and struggles desperately, but to no avail. BF lets out a low growl as his foe’s struggles fade and smoke rises from its flesh.
No sooner has his current foe been dealt with, however, than another shows itself. The Berserk Fuhrer, whose proximity sensors detect the presence about a kilometer behind him, quickly lowers Orga’s body to the ground, ripping one of his Buster Claws out of its body as he does so. He turns sideways to face this new threat with a roar and a readied Buster Claw, while continuing to electrocute Orga with the Claw that is still imbedded in it.
Zilla responds with his own roar. BF rips his other Buster Claw out of Orga and returns them to their default position before he activates his boosters, leaving the blackened and smoking corpse behind. Taken aback by his opponent’s sudden burst of speed, Zilla hesitates. A mistake that will prove most costly. Once he’s within 200 meters of his opponent, BF cuts off his boosters and skids the rest of the way. With a quick flick of his Buster Claw, there is a sickening slicing sound. A moment later, Zilla’s head falls to the ground with a wet thud, followed half a second later by the body.
The instant Zilla’s body drops, four golden bolts of energy seemingly come out of nowhere and strike BF and explode, causing him to roar and stumble back a couple steps in surprise more than anything else. Monster X stands a couple hundred meters directly behind Zilla’s body. BF’s sensors hadn’t picked the creature up because it was blocked by Zilla.
With a roar, Monster X charges toward the Berserk Fuhrer, leaping over Zilla’s body and launching himself at the mech. But the Berserk Fuhrer wouldn’t be so easily caught. He quickly boosts to the side at the last moment, causing the alien to miss him entirely. Monster X is nimble, however, and manages to land reasonably well. When he turns to face his opponent, though, he is met with a metal tail to the chest, which sends him flying.
The alien crashes down several hundred meters away, his chest armor sporting a number of fractures where the Berserk Fuhrer’s tail impacted. He slowly gets to his feet and turns to face his foe, who is advancing toward him. Another volley of Gravity bolts are fired on the Berserk Fuhrer, but this time he is prepared. As he continues to walk forward, one of his Buster Claws flips forward and opens up. A pinkish energy shield immediately forms. The Gravity bolts strike the shield, exploding harmlessly on its surface. With that done, BF deactivates the shield and returns his Buster Claw to its default position. His boosters come to life, propelling him toward Monster X.
Before the alien can react, BF is upon him. The mech’s right Buster Claws lashes out, gripping Monster X’s head in its blades and hoisting the beast into the air. Monster X tries to pry his head free of the blades, but only succeeds in slicing his hands to ribbons. BF growls as he prepares to fire his beam cannon directly into the side of his foe’s skull. Seeing the red glow gathering in the barrel no more than a couple meters away from his temple, Monster X struggles more violently. He kicks at BF’s head, trying to force the mech to release him. BF roars, firing beam after beam into Monster X’s head at point blank. After the fourth shot, Monster X suddenly falls limp. The fifth shot exits the other side of the alien’s head.
The Berserk Fuhrer relinquishes his grip on Monster X’s head, allowing the body to fall to the ground. He roars in victory, then turns and begins walking away. He doesn’t get more than a few steps before he sees something flying toward him out of the corner of his eye. GFW Gigan v2 screeches and dives toward the Berserk Fuhrer. He fires off his beam cannons at the cyborg, but it avoids them and lands several hundred meters away.
With a metallic shriek, Gigan revs up his dual chainsaws. BF responds in kind, roaring back and advancing with his Buster Claws at the ready. Gigan is the first to attack, sending out a pair of razor discs at the Berserk Fuhrer. He easily swats them away with his Buster Claws. Frustrated by the ease with which his attack was dealt with, Gigan begins to advance as well. Once he’s close enough, the cyborg’s visor flashes and releases a bust of energy. Seeing how the attack spreads out, BF fully opens both of his Buster Claws, creating the full Omni-directional shield. An instant later, numerous small explosions pepper the shield.
Once the explosions cease, BF lowers his shield and closes his Buster Claws, pointing the blades toward his foe. He rotates the blades so that their cutting edges face outward, at which point they begin to glow with light purplish energy. He lets out a roar before breaking into a sprint, heading straight toward Gigan. The cyborg raises his arm in preparation for bringing it down on his opponent’s skull. However, when he swings his arm downward, he is horrified to instead have his own saws sliced off by one of the Berserk Fuhrer’s Buster Claws. BF quickly follows up with a swipe from his other set of Claws, removing Gigan’s other pair of saws just below the elbow.
With Gigan screeching in horror at being disarmed in more than one sense of the word, BF takes aim with one of his Buster Claws and blasts the cyborg’s head off with a shot from his LPC. The headless body stands there for a couple seconds before falling over backwards.
He has no time to celebrate, however, as his sensors pick up yet another target flying toward him, this time from behind and slightly to his left. He turns to face this new threat and, as with Gigan, fires his beam cannons at it. The target makes no attempt to dodge, though. It quickly becomes apparent why, though, as the beams strike an energy shield, dealing little, if any, damage. With a cackle, Grand King Ghidorah lands over a kilometer in front of the Berserk Fuhrer, whereupon he fires off a trio of Gravity beams at the mech. BF activates his shield, blocking the attack.
Once the attack ceases, BF lowers his shield as his boosters kick on, launching him at his foe. The golden hydra spits volley after volley of Gravity beams at BF, but he touches the tips of his Buster Claws together, forming his Frontal Force shield. Beam after beam slams into the shield, but results in nothing but a shower of sparks. As he gets closer to his opponent, he manages to make out to small burn marks on the hydra’s torso. Realizing his initial attack did make it through the barrier, albeit significantly weakened, the Berserk Fuhrer deactivates his shield and prepares to fire his LPCs. Utilizing his boosters, he manages to avoid the maelstrom of Gravity beams long enough to get off a shot with the LPCs. The twin beams penetrate Grand King Ghidorah’s Light Barrier and lance into his chest, forcing him to cry out in pain as they stab deep into his flesh.
Utilizing the break in his opponent’s attack, BF launches himself at the dragon with his boosters. The blades rotate outwards and charge with energy. The entire units then begin spinning like massive drills. With a roar of fury, he slams into his massive foe. The Buster Claws plunge into the hydra’s torso. They slice, tear, and grind away at Grand King Ghidorah’s flesh and bones, sending blood and chunks of flesh flying though the air. Within moments, the mighty three-headed dragon is dead, two massive holes drilled through his body. BF pulls his Buster Claws out of his opponent’s body, allowing it to fall over.
Suddenly, the Berserk Fuhrer’s sensors pick up dozens of small targets, which quickly merge into a single massive target. With blood splattered all over his head and Buster Claws, he turns to face this new threat. A kilometer and a half in the distance, the hulking form of Destoroyah slowly approaches.
BF roars at the massive creature before planting his feet firmly on the ground. His foot locks slam into place and his tail straightens, the vents on it opening. The ion boosters on his backpack open and his Buster Claws flip forward. He straightens his neck and opens his mouth, allowing a barrel to extend from his throat. His Buster Claws begin to glow with white energy as they generate and draw in charged particles. His ion boosters draw in charged particles as well. At the tip of the barrel in his mouth, a glowing mass of charged particles begins to collect. After several seconds, the charged particles have reached critical mass.
In a blinding flash, the Charged Particle Cannon discharges, sending the massive beam streaking towards Destoroyah. Grand King Ghidorah’s blood is instantly evaporated off of the Berserk Fuhrer by the heat of the attack. The sand underneath the beam is blasted out to the sides by the shockwave it generates in passing. Destoroyah sees the attack coming, but is completely unaware of the fate that awaits it. Indeed, even if it did realize what was coming, it wouldn’t have time to react. The beam strikes the creature square in the stomach, punching through its body with no resistance. Within just seconds, the entirety of Destoroyah’s body is vaporized by the power of the attack.
Seeing that his foe has been destroyed, the Berserk Fuhrer powers down the beam. The vents on his tail spew out steam before closing. Everything on his body returns to its relaxed, default position. He waits for several seconds for any new threats to appear. When none do, he rears his head back and releases a roar of victory.
“Test complete... for now.” says the mysterious voice.

Gojulas Giga demonstration battle
The Gojulas Giga stands in the middle of the sandy expanse. He looks around, taking in the surroundings. Directly ahead of him lies a massive lake, its shoreline several kilometers away. Thick forest lies a similar distance behind and to either side. He doesn’t know where he is, or how he got here, but something isn’t right. He slowly walks forward, keeping an eye on his surroundings.
Elsewhere...
“Begin the test,” a mysterious voice says.
Suddenly, the air a few hundred meters ahead of Giga shimmers and distorts. He stops and raises his body to a more erect stance as the shimmer turns into a glow. When the glow begins to take a shape, he readies himself for combat.
This turn out to be a wise move, for as the glow fades, Battra Larva fires off his Prism beams at the mech. The beams impact the Gojulas Giga’s armor, and aside from causing a few sparks, do nothing to it. With a roar, Giga aims his cannons at the demonic insect and fires. The creature shrieks in pain as it is blown backwards by the incredible impact, crashing back down some 300 meters away and sliding another hundred or so meters before coming to a rest. Battra groans weakly, blood flowing freely from his horribly mangled “chest”.
With another roar, Giga lowers the front half of his body and straightens his tail, rushing forward in Pursuit mode. He reaches his fallen opponent in seconds, whereupon he pants a foot on Battra’s head and leans down, closing his jaws around the caterpillar’s body. The spiny armor proves no match for his incredible jaws, and with a single crunch Battra’s body is nearly severed. Yanking his head back, Giga finishes the job.
Dropping the utterly crushed section of Battra’s body, the Gojulas Giga roars in victory. However, his celebration is cut short when his sensors pick up an object descending from the sky behind him. He turns around just in time to see Iris landing a few hundred meters away. He charges forward, roaring with power. Iris responds with a moaning cry of his own, before raising a pair of tentacles up. They glow yellow for a few moments, then fire off their Sonic Cutter beams. Giga doesn’t so much as flinch as the beams strike his shoulders, failing to cut into the armor.
As the machine draws within striking distance, Iris thrusts one of his dagger-like arms out. At the same time, Giga roars and lunges at Iris. To the mutant Gyaos’ horror, his dagger simply bounces off his opponent’s armor. He has no time to attempt another attack, though, as the machine’s massive maw slams shut on his shoulder. The monster’s frail body offers hardly any resistance to Giga’s jaws as he crushes it like a human would a taco.
Iris instantly falls limp, the majority of his torso crushed in Giga’s jaws. The saurian lifts the body up, shaking it back and forth like a rag doll. After a few moments, his sensors alert him to a new presence. Standing 500 meters directly ahead of him is GFW King Caesar. The hairy creature bellows out a challenge and charges forward. In response, Giga tosses Iris’ body off to the side before releasing a roar of his own.
Once he comes within a hundred meters, King Caesar leaps into the air and swings his leg toward the machine’s head. The flying roundhouse kick connects squarely with the side of Giga’s face, but does little more than force his head to the side slightly.
King Caesar takes a step back before launching himself at Giga again. This time, the saurian sidesteps the attack. As King Caesar flies past, Giga’s tail lashes out, the glowing yellow blades slicing through the beast’s abdomen. King Caesar flops to the ground, nearly cleaved in two. The only thing keeping his upper and lower halves together is a section of flesh on his right side.
Before King Caesar can even die, another foe makes its presence known with a roar. Turning to face the source, Giga spots GFW Godzilla wading ashore. He roars back and walks forward, crushing King Caesar’s skull underfoot in passing.
When the two come within 700 meters of each other, Godzilla charges up his beam for about 3 seconds before firing it at Giga. The machine takes the beam square in the chest, its immense force pushing him back slightly. However, he digs his claws into the sand and slams his foot locks into place, firmly anchoring him to the spot. After several seconds, the beam ceases. Giga quickly retaliates by firing his cannons at Godzilla. The shells strike the saurian in the chest, knocking him off his feet and through the air before crashing down on his back over 200 meters away. With a roar, Giga’s body goes horizontal as he rushes forward.
Godzilla slowly rises to his feet. A large portion of the flesh on his chest has been ripped off by the explosions, exposing several ribs, three of which are fractured. Even his regeneration has trouble coping with such trauma. As he looks up to face his foe, he is met with the sight of the machine whipping around, burying the tail blades in his gut. As the monster screams in pain, Giga hoists him off the ground before flinging him off to the side with a flick of his tail.
Taking aim at the fallen Godzilla with his cannons again, Giga targets the still-damaged chest and fires, decimating internal organs and ending the creature’s life in an explosion and splatter of gore.
Giga spots the next threat before it even comes within range of his sensors. A dark cloud appears in the sky off in the distance. As the cloud quickly approaches, it becomes apparent just what it is: a flock of no less than 70 Hyper Gyaos.
With a roar, Giga aims his cannons at the center of the flock. The cannons fire, sending their payload toward the winged demons. It takes a couple seconds for the shell to reach their targets, but a pair of large explosions accompanied by smoking chunks of Gyaos falling into the water below signal that they hit their mark.
Giga repeats the process again and again as the Hyper Gyaos quickly close in on him. Soon they are circling above and around him like a swarm of locusts. Paying no heed to the near-constant bombardment of Sonic Cutter beams, he continues firing away, staggering his shots to maintain the highest possible firing rate. Their numbers are decreasing, but not fast enough.
With that, he ceases firing his Giga Cannons and switches to Pursuit mode. His foot locks slam into place and his dorsal plates begin to glow with light blue energy. After a couple seconds, the plates crackle with electricity before each simultaneously discharges a massive bolt into the flock. Each bolt of electricity strikes a different Gyaos, surging it with hundreds of millions of volts. Within seconds, all of the remaining Hyper Gyaos fall to the ground around Giga, their bodies burnt and smoking.
Giga looks around, watching for any signs of life from the creatures. When he sees none, he walks away, crushing several of the bodies beneath his feet in the process.
However, it is not long before another foe appears. Giga’s sensors pick up a huge target behind and to his right. Whirling around to face the new threat, he is immediately caught by a trio of golden energy beams, which pick him up and hurl him to the side. Before he can get up, the beams latch onto him again, dragging him across the ground in the opposite direction. As it does, he is able to see his attacker. Keizer Ghidorah releases Giga, allowing him to slide across the sand for a short distance before he comes to a rest. Again before he can get up, Giga is caught by the beams. This time, they lift him up off the ground. But that is as far as they get. Not bothering to take aim, Giga fires his cannons, striking the ground just in front of the hydra. The beast screeches in surprise, releasing Giga from his grip.
The saurian lands on his feet, and with a roar his body straightens and he charges toward his foe, whom is shrouded in smoke from the explosions. Just as he reaches the billowing cloud, his body raises back up and he continues into the smoke. After a few seconds, a gust of wind blows the cloud away, revealing the two combatants. Giga has his jaws clamped around Keizer Ghidorah’s middle neck, with his clawed hands wrapped around the other two necks. The hydra struggles to free itself, but only makes Giga fight harder. His foot locks slam down and his claws squeeze harder, digging deeper into Keizer Ghidorah’s flesh. He applies more pressure with his jaws, snapping the middle neck like a twig.
Keizer Ghidorah’s struggles increase, his two side heads firing off their Gravity beams at Giga. Now lacking the power to grip him, the beams simply explode against his armor. Giga retaliates by swinging his tail around to his right side, plunging the glowing blades into Keizer Ghidorah’s ribs, eliciting a cry of pain from the creature. With a growl, Giga tears the blades out of his opponent’s body, nearly spilling its guts on the ground. He then topples the squawking beast onto its right side, tearing off the dead center neck in the process. It kicks and screeches in terror, firing off Gravity beams in a desperate attempt to fight off the machine.
But Giga is undeterred. He drops Keizer Ghidorah’s severed neck and disengages his foot locks, then raises his left foot and brings it crashing down on the creature’s rightmost head, crushing it under his weight. He then slams his jaws shut on the remaining head, shattering its skull and killing the beast.
Giga takes a step back from the huge corpse, then looks around to see if any new adversaries will show. After several moments, none do. He throws his head back, releasing a roar of victory from his blood-covered maw. With a final grunt, he turns and walks away.
“Test complete... for now.” says the mysterious voice.

Tortonne demonstration battle
Tortonne blinks repeatedly and looks around. He’s standing in the middle of a flat, sandy expanse. Directly ahead of him is a massive lake, its shoreline several kilometers away. Thick forest lies a similar distance behind and to either side. He doesn’t know where he is, or how he got here.
Elsewhere...
“Begin the test,” a mysterious voice says.
Still confused as to his predicament, Tortonne doesn’t notice the shimmer in the air a few hundred meters behind him. The piercing cry quickly gets his attention, though, and the huge tortoise turns around. Standing before him is the hulking beast, Destoroyah. The demonic creature shrieks again and lumbers forward. Recognizing the challenge, Tortonne responds with a roar of his own, warning it to back off
But Destoroyah pays no heed, and instead fires a blast of its Micro-Oxygen Ray. The beam strikes Tortonne square in the chest. The reptile is unfazed, though, as his incredibly strong shell takes the hit with little more than a small scorch mark where the beam struck.
Seeing that this foe is set on fighting, Tortonne roars again and braces himself. The two monsters clash, locking hands in a grapple. Tortonne quickly proves superior, though, and shoves Destoroyah back with another roar. Before Destoroyah can launch another attack, Tortonne reels his right arm back, then simultaneously takes a step and thrusts his arm forward. Powered by his impressive strength and further enhanced by the weight put behind it, his clawed hand sinks into the mutant’s gut up to the wrist. Destoroyah shrieks in pain, spewing forth a spray for green blood from its maw in the process, some of which splatters on Tortonne. Reaching out with his other hand, the massive tortoise grips the large spike on Destoroyah’s right shoulder. With a grunt, Tortonne lifts his foe off the ground, turns it upside-down, then slams it, head-first, onto the ground in what could be described as a modified Scoop Slam.
Using his left hand, Tortonne pushes the inverted Destoroyah over, freeing his right hand from the creature’s gut. He then takes a step back and watches for a moment. Destoroyah’s head is basically crushed and its neck shattered. Tortonne roars in victory, then turns to walk away.
He doesn’t get far before a series of explosions go off mere meters in front of him, blasting tons of dirt high into the air and causing Tortonne to stop in his tracks, raising his hands to shield his face from the flying debris. As the dirt begins to fall back to the earth, a loud, metallic hiss draws Tortonne’s attention. Mechagodzilla ‘75 stands a kilometer or so to his left, smoke rising from the empty holes on its raised right hand. Tortonne starts to turn toward the machine and roar, but he’s cut off by another round of explosions. Some of these connect, forcing him to stumble back a couple steps, but otherwise do no real damage.
Tired of being used for target practice, Tortonne lumbers forward, holding his armored forearms in front of his face to shield it. Mechagodzilla continues its bombardment, adding in beams and the rest of its missile launchers. But Tortonne continues forward, pushing through the assault. Once the tortoise gets too close for comfort, Mechagodzilla attempts to take off. The machine waited too long, though, and Tortonne lashes out with his clawed hand and catches its foot then yanks the robot out of the sky.
In a desperate attempt to get away, Mechagodzilla fires its eye beams at nearly point-blank, striking Tortonne in the unarmored shoulder. Despite the pain, Tortonne is undeterred. He grabs Mechagodzilla’s shoulders, then leans forward and slams his jaws shut on the side of the machine’s neck. His powerful, serrated beak cuts into the metal with ease, and after a few seconds, the screech of rending metal fills the air as he twists his neck, wrenching Mechagodzilla’s head off.
Tortonne shoves the now-lifeless machine over and drops the severed head. Before he can celebrate, another roar comes from behind him. He turns around to face the sound, only to be met with a flying roundhouse kick to the face from GFW King Caesar. The blow causes Tortonne to lose balance and topple over, hitting the ground with a tremendous thud. He shakes his head to clear his vision just in time to see King Caesar getting ready to stomp on his head. As the mammal’s foot comes crashing down, Tortonne pulls his head into his shell. When the foot connects with the ground, he shoots his head out and snaps his jaws shut on King Caesar’s shin. The furry monster roars in pain and tries to shake his leg free, only managing to do so because Tortonne allows it.
King Caesar stumbles back on his wounded leg, giving Tortonne the time he needs to get back to his feet. Once that’s accomplished, he roars at his mammalian foe and charges forward. He lashes out with his claws, but the agile creature manages to leap backward enough to narrowly avoid them. Another two swipes are met with similar results. Finally, Tortonne lands a blow, smashing his armor-plated forearm into the side of King Caesar’s skull and sending the beast to the ground.
Tortonne reaches down and grabs hold of one of King Caesar’s legs, then swings him around once before releasing. The mammal is sent flying nearly a kilometer in the direction of the lake, before crashing down and tumbling to a stop.
With a grunt, Tortonne begins walking toward his opponent. As he approaches, the mammal shows no signs of life. Before he can make sure, though, a screech and loud splashing brings his attention to the lake. GFW Ebirah wades toward the shore, waving and snapping its claws. Deciding King Caesar is out of commission, at least for the moment, Tortonne goes after the more immediate threat.
Ebirah hauls itself onto the sandy beach, screeching and waving its claws around. Tortonne roars and brings his armored forearm down on the crustacean’s back, in turn smashing Ebirah against the ground. The enormous shrimp swipes at Tortonne’s leg, but its claw merely bounces off the armor plating on his shin. A moment later, Tortonne sends his opponent spinning with a powerful backhanded swing to the head.
By this time, King Caesar is starting to recover. He slowly pulls himself to his feet and shakily stands for a moment. He stumbles, but manages to stay up. After a few moments, his vision begins to clear, and he sees Tortonne looming over Ebirah. Seeing his opportunity, the mammal charges at the tortoise. But unfortunately for King Caesar, his thundering footsteps betray his would-be sneak attack. Tortonne reaches down and grabs the dazed Ebirah’s tail then, at just the right moment, swings the crustacean around and smashes the leaping King Caesar square in the side. The mammal is sent flying a few hundred meters by the blow, skidding to a stop in the sand.
Tortonne walks over to his furry opponent, dragging Ebirah with him. Upon reaching the downed creature, he lifts Ebirah up and slams it down on King Ceasar, eliciting cries of pain from them both. He does this several more times, using the oversized crayfish as a massive bludgeon.
Once both opponents cease reacting, Tortonne stops. By this time, they are both broken, bloody, and quite dead. He releases Ebirah’s tail and takes a step back. He stands there for several moments waiting for another attack, but none comes. He looks at his scorched and bleeding shoulder; the result of Mechagodzilla’s final attack. With a sigh, he slowly walks over to the lake for a cool, refreshing drink.
“Test complete... for now.” says the mysterious voice.

Suchodon demonstration battle
Suchodon looks around, confused. He’s standing in the middle of a flat, sandy expanse. Directly ahead of him is a massive lake, its shoreline several kilometers away. Thick forest lies a similar distance behind and to either side. He doesn’t know where he is, or how he got here.
Suchodon quickly flicks his forked tongue in and out, trying to get some sort of sense out of what’s just happened. He looks around, continuing to taste the air for any kind of familiar scent. He finds none, but learns the lake ahead of him is fresh water. A cool drink would be refreshing in this heat.
With that, Suchodon begins walking toward the lake. He reaches the shoreline a short time later, whereupon he notices a slight disturbance in the form of a series of bubbles rising to the surface a good distance out in the lake. After watching the bubbles cautiously for a moment, he leans down and flicks his tongue a couple times, just to make sure the water is clean. It is. Just as he is about to take the first gulp, however, a shrill cry catches his attention. He immediately snaps to attention, craning his neck in the direction of the sound.
Zilla stands about 300 meters off to Suchodon’s left, roaring and swiping its arms aggressively. Suchodon flicks his tongue and turns to face the reptile. Zilla roars again, and Suchodon answers with a bellowing hiss of his own. With that, the mutant lizard launches itself at the chimera. Suchodon nimbly avoids the attack by sidestepping into the water, lashing out with his arm and catching Zilla’s flank with his claws in the process. The weapons tear a trio of gashes into the lizard’s thigh, eliciting a cry of pain from Zilla.
When Zilla lands, it stumbles slightly due to its injury, which gives Suchodon the opportunity to pounce. He tackles the mutant, digging his claws into its sides and snapping his jaws shut on its neck. Zilla wheezes as it struggles to free itself, kicking and thrashing with its arms and legs, but to no avail. Not only are Suchodon’s immensely powerful jaws crushing his windpipe and restricting blood flow to his brain, but the venom seeping into Zilla’s bloodstream is slowly working its way into its nervous system.
By this time, the disturbance out in the lake has moved closer to the shore. Suchodon watches out of the corner of his eye, making sure to keep his grip on the fading Zilla. The bubbles grow in size and number, before a gray head pops out of the water. The head is followed by a set of broad shoulders, then a pair of lanky arms and a somewhat narrow torso, and finally a pair of legs and a tail as the creature emerges from the water.
Suchodon growls as Clover lumbers closer, not once loosening his grip on the nearly-dead Zilla. When the gray monstrosity comes within a hundred meters, it roars and lunges, only to be batted away by a blow to the head from Suchodon’s powerful tail. Realizing this new foe won’t be deterred so easily, Suchodon finishes Zilla off by wrenching its neck until it snaps.
Now able to focus his full attention on the newcomer, Suchodon bellows at the creature, which by this time is getting back up. Clover responds with a roar of his own, smashing his fist against the sand. The two monsters lunge at each other, but Clover’s superior reach proves to be an advantage. The monster’s fist smashes into the side of Suchodon’s head, sending him off balance momentarily. Clover presses his assault and wraps his arms around Suchodon. With a roar, Clover bites down on Suchodon’s spine. However, most of his teeth simply scrape against the bony scutes which cover the reptilian chimera’s back.
Not the least bit amused by this turn of events, Suchodon twists his head around and slams his jaws shut on Clover’s leg, just above the knee. The lanky beast cries out in pain and releases Suchodon. Suchodon likewise pulls away from Clover, his teeth lacerating its leg in the process. The titans backpedal from each other. Clover comes out of the scuffle much worse off than Suchodon, with an injured leg which is bleeding badly thanks to the anticoagulant properties of Suchodon’s venom.
Now enraged, Clover charges toward Suchodon again. The dinocroc stands his ground and ducks underneath Clover’s swung arm, then immediately lunges upward, catching its forearm in his jaws. The spindly appendage is no match for the power of Suchodon’s jaws, and snaps under the pressure. Clover shrieks in pain and tries to pull away, wrapping his free hand around Suchodon’s neck for leverage. Suchodon releases his grip and backs away to avoid a panicked counterattack.
Clover’s right arm drops down to his side, its hand laying limply on the ground. Its left leg is crippled as well, still bleeding badly and now partially numbed by the neurotoxic venom. Suchodon stands in a partial crouch just out of Clover’s reach, legs bent and ready to launch him into action the moment an opening presents itself. Once the venom that seeped into Clover’s arm wound begins to take effect, the monster falters slightly. Suchodon reacts instantly, lunging forward and closing his jaws around Clover’s head before throwing his weight to the side and dragging his opponent to the ground.
With Clover on its back before him, Suchodon raises his clawed hand and slashes across the monster’s exposed belly, slicing through its flesh with ease. His other hand follows, leaving another trio of gashes in his opponent’s gut and completely opening the monster’s body cavity. Clover gurgles for a few moments before dying of blood loss and sheer trauma.
Suchodon leans down, flicking his tongue near the monster’s face a couple times before rearing back and releasing a roar of victory. His roar quickly turns into a shriek of pain, however, when a swirling red, black, and pink beam erupts from the water and strikes his side. Suchodon stumbles back a few steps, snarling from the pain. He looks in the direction of the attack, only to see the back and tail of a kaiju as it dives back beneath the surface.
Roaring in anger, Suchodon rushes toward the lake, not slowing when his feet plunge into the water. Once the water reaches his knees, Suchodon dives forward, plunging beneath the waves and allowing his powerful tail to propel him forward as his arms and legs press against his sides to streamline his frame.
Within just a minute he is in several hundred meter-deep water. Despite that, the bottom is still visible thanks to the incredibly clear water. As he searches for his attacker, a small explosion followed by a puff of red “smoke” occurs a few meters off to his left. A similar explosion follows a moment later on his right. Suchodon quickly dives toward the lake bottom. On the way down, he spots several flashes which coincide with the explosions happening around him.
Upon reaching the lake floor, Suchodon “lands” on all fours, crouching down to conceal himself as much as possible. He observes for a few moments as the flashes and explosions continue. They appear to be coming from a rock formation, but between the large distance and low light he can’t tell any more than that. He pushes off the sandy bottom and swims toward the source of the flashes, making sure to hug the bottom to remain hidden.
His stealth tactics don’t work for long, though, as the rock formation seems to shift slightly and the explosions once again zero in on him. With his cover blown, Suchodon quickly accelerates to top speed. Once he gets within a few hundred meters, the formation rises up from the bottom and reveals itself to be a dragon-like kaiju. Dagahra attempts to rush toward the surface, but he isn’t fast enough. Suchodon catches the sea monster’s tail in his jaws as he passes underneath it.
Having been jolted to a near-stop by Suchodon’s momentum, Dagahra is unable to swim away before the chimera spins around with a flick of his tail and pounces on the dragon’s back. Suchodon’s powerful talons dig into his foe’s flesh, but before he can deal any significant damage, a series of crimson energy beams erupt from its dorsal fins. He cries out and relinquishes his grip on Dagahra, more due to surprise than pain. The sea monster seizes the opportunity and takes off. Suchodon quickly regains his composure and pursues, but his opponent has a much higher top speed and it doesn’t take long for Suchodon to fall hopelessly far behind.
He could follow the creature’s scent through the water, but instead of trying to continue the futile chase, Suchodon slows down to cruising speed and heads off toward the shore where he entered the lake. He would allow his opponent to come to him.
Suchodon does not have to wait long, for after just a minute or so a beam streaks through the water from his left flank, which he narrowly manages to avoid with an abrupt stop. As the beam passes in front of him, he glances in the direction of its source and spots Dagahra heading toward him. With a hiss, Suchodon accelerates back up to top speed, continuing on his course toward the shore. Dagahra curves, following Suchodon’s movement and eventually falling in line directly behind the crocodile.
The sea monster quickly draws closer to Suchodon, firing its shoulder cannons at the saurian. The inaccurate projectiles explode harmlessly around Suchodon as he continues to power toward ever-shallower water. Once the depth is a mere hundred meters or so, Suchodon goes on the offensive. Exhaling all of the air from his lungs to decrease his buoyancy, he dips down and rolls over onto his back. Dagahra, who was less than a hundred meters behind Suchodon by this time, doesn’t have time to react. As the dragon passes over him, Suchodon lashes out. His claws bury themselves in Dagahra’s sides, just behind its arms, and his maw slams shut on the beast’s thick neck. Dagahra attempts to roar in pain, but the incredible pressure exerted by Suchodon’s jaws crushes his throat shut.
Keeping grip with his jaws, Suchodon begins tearing into Dagahra with his talons. The large, hooked weapons rip through the sea monster’s hide repeatedly, slicing through skin and muscle with ease. However, just as the two kaiju are about to settle on the lake bottom, Suchodon abruptly releases Dagahra and gets out from underneath it. As Dagahra begins to turn around in an effort to flee, Suchodon grips the monster’s tail in his maw.
Digging his feet into the sandy bottom, Suchodon begins to drag his opponent toward the shore. His head breaks the surface first, whereupon he takes a deep breath. He continues to pull the helpless Dagahra toward the shore, despite the creature’s best efforts to prevent it. Eventually, Suchodon’s feet touch dry land. From there, it’s just a few moments before Dagahra is hauled up onto the beach. Severely weakened from massive blood loss, the sea monster is helpless as Suchodon circles around to its front side and slams his jaws shut on its head, crushing its skull and ending its life.
Suchodon releases Dagahra’s shattered head, letting the neck and head flop to the ground limply. He steps back and growls, blood dripping from his maw. Before he even has a chance to search for any new threats, he’s thrown to the ground by a sudden impact to his side. He rolls with it and quickly gets back on his feet. He catches a blur out of the corner of his eye and manages to duck just as it passes over him.
Megaguirus turns around and goes for another pass, this time lower to the ground in an attempt to slash at Suchodon with her wing. The reptile rears back and avoids the appendage, then quickly lunges forward to catch her in his maw. His jaws snap shut on empty air, though, as the insect zips past too quickly. Megaguirus loops around again, preparing to pass behind Suchodon this time. Suchodon spins around, trying to catch her again. Again, he catches nothing.
The dance continues for several more passes, with neither kaiju being able to hit the other. Realizing this is getting nowhere, Suchodon waits for Megaguirus to make another pass then runs into the water before she turns around. By the time she swings around and reaches him, he’s already fully submerged and heading out toward deeper water. Instead of diving deeper, though, he remains close enough to the surface to be seen, but still out of reach of any attempted attacks.
After checking to make sure Megaguirus is following him, Suchodon dives deeper. Above the water, Megaguirus screeches in frustration at having lost sight of her foe and continues to slowly fly over the water, scanning for any signs of activity. After several moments, the water directly beneath her virtually explodes as Suchodon erupts from beneath the surface. The insect screeches as the reptile’s jaws snap shut on her left claw before he falls back beneath the water, dragging her with him.
Megaguirus struggles frantically to free herself, bashing him with her free claw and stabbing him repeatedly with her stinger. But Suchodon quickly begins to spin his body, wrenching the dragonfly’s left arm from her torso. Before Megaguirus can reorient herself and escape, Suchodon’s jaws slam shut on her again, this time on her neck. He initiates another death roll, whipping his foe around at such speeds as to make counterattack nigh impossible. After a couple seconds, Megaguirus literally starts to come apart at the seams. First a leg, then her remaining claw, followed by two more legs, and finally a wing are flung away from the spinning mass and slowly sink into the depths before Suchodon ceases rolling.
Suchodon releases the mangled corpse of his opponent, watching for a few moments as it sinks lifelessly toward the bottom before turning around and heading for the shore. Upon walking up onto the beach, he looks around, flicking his tongue in and out repeatedly. When he detects no further threats, he cranes his neck to look at his wounds, taking a moment to flick his tongue at them as well. The multiple puncture wounds have already stopped bleeding thanks to his advanced circulatory system. With that, he lays down on the warm sand and drifts off to sleep.

Inferno Rodan demonstration battle
Inferno Rodan blinks several times and looks around. He’s standing in the middle of a vast sandy area surrounded on three sides by thick forest. The fourth side, several kilometers directly ahead of him, borders a huge lake. He doesn’t know where he is, or how he got here.
Before he can do any more thinking on the matter, a shrill screech fills his ears. He looks up in the direction of the sound and spots the giant purple dragonfly, Megaguirus, hovering several hundred meters in the air. He has a sudden, vague flash in his mind, almost as if a memory from a past life, of hunting creatures like this with other creatures like himself. He squeezes his eyes shut and shakes his head to dismiss the images before returning his gaze to the insect. He spreads his wings and lets forth a mighty roar. Then, with a flap of his leathery wings, he takes to the air, kicking up a cloud of dust on the ground.
Megaguirus screeches again and nimbly dodges to the side, allowing Inferno Rodan to rush past before she makes chase. Inferno Rodan cranes his neck slightly and looks back out of the corner of his eye at Megaguirus. He looks ahead again before flapping his wings once and accelerating. Megaguirus flaps her wings faster, expecting to overtake her foe with her unmatched speed. However, much to her shock, she quickly realizes that she not only can’t close the distance, but her opponent seems to be pulling away from her
By this time, the two kaiju are reaching the cloud layer. Inferno Rodan flies directly into one particularly large cumulus cloud. Megaguirus plunges into the cloud an instant later, but when she emerges on the other side she sees nothing but blue sky. Before she can relocate her foe, Inferno Rodan’s taloned feet grip her exoskeleton from above. The insect’s tremendous momentum proves to be a saving grace, though, as her inertia rips her from his grasp and sends both kaiju tumbling through the air in different directions. Inferno Rodan recovers first, but by the time he gets his bearings and locates Megaguirus, she has recovered as well and is heading directly at him. With a flap of his wings, Inferno Rodan rockets forward, on a collision course with the insect. At the last possible instant before impact, Megaguirus flinches. She pulls up and the two kaiju avoid collision by mere meters.
Immediately following the near-collision, Inferno Rodan rolls into a dive, sending himself rocketing toward the deck. Megaguirus turns around and takes chase once again. This time, however, Inferno Rodan sweeps his wings backwards, further streamlining his frame and, with the help of gravity, allowing himself to surpass his normal top speed and pull further away from Megaguirus. As he plummets toward the earth, he spots another monster on the ground some distance away. It has a dark body and what appears to be three heads, but due to the pressing matter of the ground quickly approaching, he doesn’t allow himself to look long enough to see any more than that. Odds are he’ll be getting a closer look at it shortly anyway.
Figuring he’s gained sufficient distance between himself and Megaguirus, Inferno Rodan’s horns begin to glow orange as he twists around so that his back is towards the ground and spreads wings wide to slow his descent. His mouth opens and releases an orange beam of thermonuclear power. Megaguirus’ widen in horror as she sees the beam streaking toward her. There’s no way she can avoid it. The stream of super-hot energy slams into the queen dragonfly’s head, incinerating her entire body, from snout to stinger, almost instantly. The parts of her body that didn’t come into direct contact with the beam, namely her wings and arms, are only partially destroyed and tumble down to the ground engulfed in flames.
With his first foe dealt with, Inferno Rodan turn his attention to the other monster he’d spotted. Flapping his wings to keep airborne, he gets a good look at the beast. It does indeed have three heads attached to his body by long necks, but it’s also quadrupedal and possesses a pair of large wings. Desghidorah trumpets and lumbers forward. Inferno Rodan holds his proverbial ground, answering with a roar of his own. Desghidorah continues moving forward, launching a volley of Lava Gout energy bolts at the pterosaur. Inferno Rodan doesn’t move as all three of the bolts miss him entirely. One of the bolts passes particularly close to him, allowing him to feel the heat given off by it. Now knowing the primary composition of the projectiles, Inferno Rodan again makes no effort to move as another round of bolts is fired at him. This time, two of the three find their mark and strike his body, but do absolutely nothing.
Now frustrated, Desghidorah increases his speed and begins flapping his wings, eventually lifting off the ground. Inferno Rodan turns and quickly takes off to the side, perpendicular to Desghidorah’s path. The three-headed behemoth makes as sharp a turn as it can, barely managing to not overshoot his opponent’s path. By this time, Inferno Rodan has reached his top speed and has put a good amount of distance between himself and the dragon.
Desghidorah follows Inferno Rodan, firing energy bolt after energy bolt. However, given his foe’s small horizontal profile, his accuracy is even worse than usual. Not that it mattered when the bolts hit anyway. However, it isn’t long before Inferno Rodan notices that Desghidorah is gaining on him, and quickly. With a roar, he does an abrupt U-turn and plows directly into Desghidorah. The two kaiju tumble toward the earth in a tangled mass, which Inferno Rodan manages to free himself from after a few seconds. He quickly spreads his wings, allowing them to catch the air and slow his descent. Desghidorah, however, isn’t so lucky. The dragon is unable to regain control and slams into the ground, resulting in an explosion of sand.
Inferno Rodan hovers in place, watching as the sand slowly falls back down and allows him to see his opponent. Desghidorah lays in the middle of a 200 meter wide impact crater. After a moment, the three-headed monster begins to stir, slowly getting up and stumbling out of the crater. Not willing to simply wait for the monster to take to the air again, Inferno Rodan dives down to less than a hundred meters above the ground and heads directly for Desghidorah, throwing up a trail of sand in his wake. Too dazed to realize what’s coming, Desghidorah doesn’t even notice the pterosaur.
As he approaches Desghidorah, Inferno Rodan rotates sideways. His altitude is so low that the tip of his left wing begins slicing through the sandy ground. He passes by Desghidorah in this position, cleaving the dragon’s right wing off just meters from its body. Desghidorah trumpets in pain as his severed wing falls to the ground, only to be struck a moment later by a massive sonic boom. The shockwave hurls the wing through the air and nearly floors Desghidorah.
Inferno Rodan rolls and turns around, firing his Inferno Beam, striking Desghidorah in the back. Desghidorah screams in agony as the intensely hot beam blackens flesh before vaporizing it entirely and having a similar effect on the monster’s organs once burning through its hide. Not even the dragon’s bones can withstand the heat, scorching black and becoming brittle before the pterosaur ceases the beam.
He hovers above the sands, eyeing the smoking, burnt out husk of Desghidorah before throwing his head back and releasing a roar of triumph. With that, he climbs higher into the sky to get a proper bird’s-eye view of the area so as to more easily spot any new threats.
Suddenly, he spots a gathering darkness off in the distance. His keen eyes focus on the cloud, revealing it to be a swarm of no less than forty of the bat-like Hyper Gyaos. With a roar, Inferno Rodan hurls himself toward the swarm. His horns glow orange before he unleashes his beam, sweeping it horizontally across the mob. Several of the group are incinerated, their burning remains raining down to the ground below. The number is considerably lower than Inferno Rodan would have liked, though, as nearly as many had dodged the attack as had been struck by it.
Seemingly unfazed by the loss, the rest of the flock continues on their path. Inferno Rodan narrows his eyes and accelerates, blasting through the swarm at top speed. The sonic boom hits a moment later, shattering the bones of some of the Gyaos who he passed closest to while merely stunning several others.
As the broken and stunned Gyaos plummet toward the ground, Inferno Rodan swings around and heads back into the thinned swarm. He slices the wing off one Gyaos, followed by cutting another clean in two. The second one is killed instantly while the first flails helplessly as it tries to fly with only one wing while falling to its inevitable death thousands of feet below. Suddenly, he squawks in pain as one of the Hyper Gyaos rakes its Sonic Cutter across his back.
Now smelling blood, the swarm erupts into a cacophony of shrieks. Inferno Rodan is forced to jink wildly to avoid the barrage of Sonic Cutters. He climbs higher into the sky, heading for the clouds once again, with the swarm in hot pursuit. Just before reaching the clouds, however, he spins around in mid-air and completely reverses his direction, heading directly toward the Gyaos in a spiraling dive.
Between their speed and their opponent’s unexpected maneuver, the leading Gyaos are unable to react fast enough to avoid Inferno Rodan and are promptly dismembered in assorted ways by his serrated wing edges as he passes by. The Gyaos further back in the swarm have more time to react, and are more successful in avoiding him.
Once again, Inferno Rodan loops around and plunges into the furball. He pounces on a Gyaos from above, digging his talons into the sides of its torso. He then thrusts his head forward, stabbing his beak through its skull. The creature instantly falls limp. At the same time, Inferno Rodan spots one of the other Gyaos firing its Sonic Cutter. He throws his weight to the side, causing him to rotate and put the dead Gyaos between himself and the incoming beam. He then releases his meat shield and flies away, leaving it to be sliced through by the beam.
Inferno Rodan retaliates with his own beam, turning the Gyaos into smoke and bits of flaming appendages which tumble down to the ground below. He ascends, firing his beam at swarming Gyaos as they fire at him with their Sonic Cutters. Some of the bat like monsters manage to avoid the beam, while others are struck and shot down, while still others manage to do dodge the beam itself, but still burst into flames from being too close to the intense heat. The beams that miss continue on until they impact the sands below. Sand is simultaneously liquified and thrown into the air, where it cools and solidifies into bizarre glass formations, almost like massive splashes of water that have been frozen in place.
Finally the numbers of Hyper Gyaos dwindle down to more manageable levels, allowing Inferno Rodan to concentrate less on dodging and more on attacking. The final ten quickly fall to a combination of his cutting wings and beam.
As Inferno Rodan watches the remains of the last Hyper Gyaos fall to the earth, he catches a metallic glint out of the corner of his eye. Shifting his gaze, he glares at Super Mechagodzilla before swooping down towards the mech. As he draws closer, Inferno Rodan unleashes his beam upon Super Mechagodzilla, striking the machine square in the chest. The NT-20 Artificial Diamond armor plating does its job and absorbs the beam’s energy, fulling its plasma pool to maximum immediately. However, even the specialized armor plating is strained by the sheer intense heat of the beam, and the area where the beam struck is scorched slightly afterward.
Needing to release the stored energy quickly to prevent an overload, the port on Super Mechagodzilla’s midsection opens and the focusing lens extends. A moment later, the mighty Plasma Grenade is unleashed. Taken off guard, not even Inferno Rodan is unable to dodge the attack completely. He pulls up, exposing his armored chest to take the brunt of the attack. While the heat of the attack doesn’t bother him, the sheer force of the beam throws him backwards.
Once the beam ceases, Inferno Rodan flips backwards into a sort of Spilt S maneuver to maintain his momentum while coming back around toward his opponent. The machine fires another massive beam, but this time the pterosaur is ready and evades it. Super Mechagodzilla turns its head and fires its Mega-buster, attempting to knock the reptile out of the sky. Its turning speed proves far too slow, however, and the beam misses it mark before Inferno Rodan gets out of its field of view entirely.
The machine quickly rotates its head to the other side and fires its Mega-Buster again, hoping to nail its foe as it comes around. The beam strikes nothing, though. Super Mechagodzilla begins looking around as fast as it can, trying to locate the flying kaiju. Suddenly, Inferno Rodan comes tearing in low to the ground on the mech’s right side. Super Mechagodzilla turns just in time to spot him coming. Knowing he’s been spotted, Inferno Rodan breaks off, narrowly avoiding a Mega-Buster.
Before he can swing around for another attempt, a pair of narrow red beams crosses Inferno Rodan’s path, forcing him to dodge again. He looks in the direction of the attack and sees the source. Showa Hedorah gurgles before firing another pair of Crimson Energy beams from its eyes, which Inferno Rodan also dodges.
Confident that he can avoid anything the machine can throw at him, Inferno Rodan decides to take out this new threat first. He turns and flies directly toward Hedorah. The sludge monster fires another pair of beams from its eyes, aiming for the ground directly in the pterosaur’s path. Seeing that the beams will clearly miss him, Inferno Rodan makes no attempt to alter his course. Unfortunately for the pterosaur, this was Hedorah’s plan. As it sweeps the beams across the ground, thick black smoke billows into the air. As Inferno Rodan flies through the cloud, he squawks in pain as his lungs and eyes burn like nothing he has ever experienced before he starts coughing uncontrollably. Blind and unable to breathe, he falls to the ground, skipping several times before coming to rest.
He gets to his feet quickly, his watering and wheezing to catch his breath. Suddenly, he feels something gooey smack into his shoulder, which promptly begins burning away at his skin. As he roars and flails in pain from the acidic sludge, he is blind sided and thrown into the air by a shot from Super Mechagodzilla’s Plasma Grenade. As he tumbles through the air, he manages to spread his wings and catch himself. He quickly ascends to escape any further attacks.
By this time, his vision has begun to clear. He narrows his eyes in anger. Thin, orange wisps of energy begin to radiate off of his body. After several seconds, the wisps grow in size, eventually forming into distorted loops which seem to flow off of him as he flies. The glob of sludge on his shoulder begins to sizzle and pop before turning to ash and crumbling away. His entire form now starting to glow, Inferno Rodan lets out a mighty roar and makes a wide, banking turn.
Down below, Hedorah and Super Mechagodzilla watch as Inferno Rodan glows ever brighter. Suddenly, he accelerates to top speed and rockets over the two kaiju. Due to being over a thousand feet above the ground, it takes a couple seconds for the sonic boom to reach them. However, when it does, sand is kicked up into the air. This, combined with the sheer jolt of being struck by a sonic boom generated by such a large object moving at five times the speed of sound results in both monsters losing sight of Inferno Rodan.
However, it isn’t long before he reappears. Several kilometers behind Super Mechagodzilla, he streaks in like a meteor, just a few meters above the ground, his body barely visible through the glow of energy. Like what his beam had done to the sand earlier, the heat from his body liquefies the it while the air he displaces throws it out to the sides. However, unlike with the beam, the liquid doesn’t get a chance to cool and solidify because a moment later they are blown away by the sonic boom, sending a spray of sand and globs of glass to either side.
Hedorah spots Inferno Rodan as he approaches Super Mechagodzilla, but it’s far too late to do anything. Inferno Rodan passes by the machine, his left wing cleaving through its right calf and nearly severing it completely. The metal on either side of the cut glows bright orange, having nearly been turned molten just from the fraction of a second it was in contact with Inferno Rodan’s wing. The outer side of the mech’s leg, up to its waist, is scorched black from the heat. Before Inferno Rodan even fully passes by, Super Mechagodzilla is blasted by a sonic boom which nearly topples the mech.
An instant later, Inferno Rodan passes by Hedorah. Again his wing slices through his opponent’s leg. The sludge monster fares quite a bit worse than its mechanical ally, though, as a large chunk of its leg is completely incinerated and much of its surface is cracked and steaming. And again before Inferno Rodan fully passes by, his opponent is rocked by a powerful sonic boom.
Hedorah falls to its remaining knee as Inferno Rodan abruptly pulls up and climbs several hundred meters into the air before looping around and positioning himself above his two opponents. With a loud roar, the glow around his body becomes even brighter, to the point that it obscures him entirely.
The air around the two kaiju below distorts from the heat. Smoke and steam begin spewing from Hedorah’s body while Super Mechagodzilla absorbs the heat for its Plasma Grenade. Unfortunately for the machine, its armor proves to be its downfall. Unable to discharge the stored plasma, the plasma pool inside the mech overloads. Super Mechagodzilla twitches as smoke spews from several of its joints.
In a last-ditch effort to take down its foe, Hedorah fires off globs of sludge at the pterosaur. Before the sludge even gets close to Inferno Rodan, it is turned to ash by the heat. Before it can mount another attack, chunks of its body begin to crack and fall off, followed by its entire arm.
Finally, the energy reaches critical mass. The entire area is engulfed by a virtual firestorm of pure heat energy. After several seconds, the energy begins to dissipate. The sand in the area is molten and formed into a shallow crater from the force of the blast. Hedorah has been reduced to a scattering of ash. Super Mechagodzilla looks like a candle that has been left sitting on an asphalt parking lot in 100-degree weather.
Inferno Rodan slowly flaps his wings as he cools down, the glow around his body fades, eventually dissipating into distorted loops which rise off his body like fire, and then into thin wisps which behave in a similar fashion, before finally disappearing altogether.
Breathing heavily, Inferno Rodan scans the area for any new opponents. After several seconds, none appear. He lets out a roar of victory before taking his leave of the area.
