*Takes ten minutes to read through an argument between two people, with nobody else intervening*
IR, may I make a suggestion here? Maybe you could add a small part to the FM sample battle section, stating that your kaiju should fight at least ONE monster in the battle that would provide a challenge for it/is equally matched/can take at least more than one hit from an attack. For example, we know that Scorpius’s claws can smash Megalon’s drill. But is there anything they can’t crush? Same token, Rygama toys with SpaceGoji. What WOULD give her trouble, besides a hematoxin-toting kaiju? Right now, we’re comparing how a kaiju killed something, and transferring it onto a somewhat different kaiju...just a suggestion.
Anyway, I am probably going to state something here that’s been stated in the really long argument above, as I forgot half of what I read, but oh well. My thought for the victor? Tough choice, indeed. Both seem near-invulnerable to everything, Scorpius strolling through many assaults, and Rygama being...well, just invulnerable, in that matter. Scorpius’s armor is pretty damn strong, nuke-resistant, etc., but Rygama’s power plays appear to show her able to tear through it.
There’s the “Psychedelic Dance,” which might as well finish off any foe. Anybody who just sits there like that is a sitting duck. Hell, you could waltz up to them and hack off their liver, and they wouldn’t notice. But still – does she use it right off the bat? If she doesn’t, it really depends what’s going to be used first. If Rygama gets into melee, it might be possible for her to tear the stinger off, it depends. However, when she’s up close, Scorpius is more than likely going to bring out that stinger, and that means pain for Rygama. Even if her limbs aren’t essential, them popping off is still somewhat debilitating. Let’s say he whacks her in the leg. She might keep going, but she has to be slowed a bit, unless she takes off into the sky. That actually might give her some of an advantage, there, as he’d probably have to resort to his acid after a while...but then she’d have to recover almost instantaneously, because Scorpius can just whack her somewhere else and take off another limb...and I’m just going to go with the countered argument on Scorpius. The toxin weakness will help a lot. So, folks, feel free to pick apart my argument now. Heh.
