Anguirus choked out a roar as he struggled to his feet. He could feel blood running down his neck freely. He was lucky Thresher didn't sever any major arteries.
But if he wanted to play the bite game, Anguirus would be all to happy to play.
Making sure he feigned helplessness, Anguirus staggered over to Thresher, acting as though he were mortally wounded. Once he sensed the beast's guard had been let down, he struck, leaping up and using his front feet to anchor himself onto Thresher, and biting down on the back of his neck hard. Cracks were heard again and blood oozed out as the saber-tooth fangs did their job. He couldn't bite as hard as normal thanks to Thresher's throat bite severing some muscles, but he was still stabbing deeply into it's neck, hoping to bite into it's spinal cord.
After a moment or two, Anguirus let go and kicked off the beast, landing on his feet in a pouncing position. Thresher staggered for a moment, stunned from the attack. Now was the time to strike!
Another roar heralded two Gravity bolts from his eyes, aimed right at Thresher...

But with a roar of sheer hatred, Thresher ducked down, avoiding the first strike, but the second managed to explode on his back. A wall of smoke was sent sky-high, but through the smoke... Came Thresher's beam.
The white Ion Beam was sent across the ground before smashing hard into Anguirus' armored skull. The ankylosaurus-like kaiju flipped over onto its side, his head smoking and burning as blood trickled down.
The shark snarled in hatred again as his fin began to surge with Ion Energy again...

Anguirus saw the beam being charged, and held his ground. No fear flowed through him, he knew just what to do. When the Ion Beam was fired, Anguirus just angled his body toward it and let it hit his carapace.
The energy was sucked in and absorbed, doing no harm at all to him. Thresher seemed a little confused by this, and Anguirus took advantage, charging in and curling up for a Thunderball, slamming off Thresher as the spikes adorning his carapace shredded flesh.
Landing on his feet, Anguirus opened his maw and let loose a torent of blue-white flame from within...

The Godzilla-like atomic flames washed over Thresher's form and sent fourth a series of explosions, but the shark's armor managed to protect his insides from most of the damage. The armored beast wanted a beam war... A war that Thresher is more than welcome to.
A stream of Ion energy was then launched from Thresher's wide maw and sent colliding with the fiend. A ball of fire rose into the sky as the beam smashed into the saurian's skull and planted it into the ground once more.
As the dust cleared, Thresher roared aloud again and fired again...

Anguirus lifted his head up just in time to see the deadly Ion Blast screaming toward him and quickly turned his body, letting the beam once again strike his carapace, where it was absorbed.
Normally, Anguirus was not one to engage in a beam, war...but that's because he never had a beam before!
He fired another blast of his Gravity Bolts, watching with Grim satisfaction as they washed over Thresher, explosions blowing off chunks of the beast. Pressing his advantage, he let loose another Nuclear Blast...

The damn carapace! Thresher snarled in hatred just as the beam was fired again. The shark stepped back and bent his knees before going straight up. The force of the beam striking the ground increased his speed and soon he came down right by the side of the saurian.
At once, almost by instinct, the tail came up but the Nebulan's clawed hand quickly caught it. Using its end against the the beast was soon to hurt the carapace now!
BASH!
The tail was smashed on Anguirus' own spiked shell. A trickle of blood, along with broken tips, fell to the ground and between rows of spikes as the tail was bashed against its body once more. By now, Anguirus' neck was turned and burning eyes were looking at the shark. Sensing what was soon to be, the shark leaped back, spinning in the air and coming down on one foot before balancing himself with the air. He fell on all fours, hugging the ground and firing another beam directly at the weakened area of spikes.

Anguirus saw the beam coming, but wasn't quite sure what to do. His carapace had been damaged, but was it enough to stop it from absorbing those Ion blasts?
The beam struck his carapace, and while there was an explosion, it was minor, the beam had indeed been mostly absorbed, and was now charged for his most deadly attack. Wasting not a second, Anguirus let loose a powerful blast from his carapace that slammed into Thresher. The damage was indeed great, and Thresher himself had been knocked back for a few hundred meters and was on the ground. Blood flowed freely from the spot his Carapace Blast had struck.
The beast was hurt. It was time to press his advantage. Anguirus jumped high into the air and curled up, preparing to use his Thunderball to slam right into where Thresher currently lay...

The shark's eyes opened up wide as he saw the meteor-like Anguirus coming down for him. It must have been instinct, but the bipedal shark rolled to the side, allowing Anguirus to smash into the ground. A mushroom cloud of dust and smoke rose high into the sky and Anguirus head looked around, expecting to see a crushed Thresher beneath him.
He wasn't.
Instead the shark had already stood up a good few hundred yards away. The armored dinosaur turned, snarling furiously as the shark leaped into the air and came back down... Once again curb stomping the saurian's head into the ruined ground that was compacted even more thanks to Anguirus' last attack.
With his foe's head buried, Thresher stepped back, roaring aloud and waiting...

He didn't have to wait long. Anguirus charged in, stepping up on his two feet when he was in range and slashed at Thresher with his forepaws, once with each. Blood oozed out of the fresh cuts as Anguirus returned to all fours and swung his body around, slamming Thresher with his mace-like tail.
Thresher was once again sent to the ground, and Anguirus charged up his Gravity Bolts...

As beams of pain ripped the ground, and Thresher's armor, apart, the shark stood up. With malice he lunged forward, managing to grip the base of Anguirus' throat and pulling upward. The dinosaur snarled as his forepaws were pulled from the ground and into the air as Thresher hoisted the dinosaur on his shoulders.
The weight, for such a creature, was a lot for the shark to handle. The beast then slammed Anguirus down... Back first. The saurian's spiny defense was about to be used against it as its own spikes impaled the ground... Holding him there as Thresher leaned in... Ready to feed the need.

Anguirus groaned as he felt the teeth puncture his soft underbelly again. Just like the previous time, he employed his tail to get him out of this spot, wrapping it around his leg and yanking him off his feet. Angry, Anguirus rolled over back onto his feet. And like the first time, he sought to return the favor, only this time he was aiming for a more vital area. He sank his massive fangs into Thresher’s throat, boring large holes and crushing sensitive muscles and tissues to jelly.
With his enemy in such an open position, there was one thing Anguirus could think of to do, and his carapace glowed blue as he prepared to unleash his heat beam, while still holding onto Thresher…

Anguirus beam of heat was cast fourth and washed over the shark's front half, but the dinosaur had made a vital mistake. The once blood gushing wounds began to sizzle as the flesh was burned shut and cauterized. Howling in pain, but knowing what was happening, Thresher remained still until Anguirus was finished unloading his beam.
As the smoke cleared and Anguirus shouted in joy, another Ion Beam exploded from the chaos. The beam of Ions smashed full-force into Anguirus snout, effectively pushing the dinosaur back and causing deep trenches on the ground from its claws. When the beam finished, Anguirus fell forward... Most of the flesh around his maw and face blown off.
Staggering in pain from the smoke spewing from his body, Thresher walked forward. Groaning, he waited.

Angurius brushed his face a few times with his front foot. The bone helmet had done it’s job and protected him, though it was charred for the favor. His unprotected lower jaw, however, had taken damage. Blood flowed forth from his wounds, and Anguirus knew he wouldn’t be satisfied before he’d defeated this thing for all the pain it’d caused him.
The two bloodied and beaten warriors circled each other, and when Anguirus saw his opening, he took it. He fired his Gravity Bolts at the ground behind Thresher. They struck and exploded, doing no harm to the Ion-wielding kaiju, but that wasn’t their intention. Anguirus motioned as if he were going to charge, and Thresher stepped back to brace himself, but that’s just what Anguirus had wanted.
Thresher stepped right into the large crater created by the Gravity Bolts and fell onto his back. Wasting not even a breath, Anguirus curled up and launched himself straight up in his Thunderball. And then the actual attack came. All 90,000 tons came crashing down on Thresher’s chest and gut, spikes embedding themselves into the kaiju.
Anguirus once again uncurled himself and rolled off, then followed right up with more Gravity Bolts…

Pain. Certain pain tore through every nerve in Thresher's shark-like form, but the Nebulan-made monster knew not the meaning of retreat. Instead of dodging, the shark allowed the creature's bolts rip through his being. Chunks of hard armor followed up from the sky, but as the smoke cleared... Thresher was gone.
Anguirus' head looked up, only to see Thresher coming down hard. This would not be another curb stomp...
Instead, the shark came down just in front of Anguirus' head... Both fists together in a hammer-like clench.
BOOM!
The blow came. The hard, helmet-like armor split apart and fell, some pieces hanging from the beast by mere strands. Blood now flowed as if water, and Thresher stepped back... Brought his foot up, and threw it down...

Anguirus groaned aloud as the foot came down and further damaged his bone helmet. He looked up and saw Thresher readying another attack. Anguirus acted first. Standing on his back legs, he reared up and unleashed the blueish flames from his mouth, targeting Thresher’s face. His aim was true, and his enemy howled as flesh was melted away and his eyes were damaged.
Anguirus moved in and let loose another blast from his maw…
