After years of searching the cosmos, Nuvi has at last found a planet suitable for conquering. He need only subdue it’s inhabitants first. He descends into a crowded city and lands in the middle of it when he suddenly senses something. There’s another entity in the area, not that much unlike him. Strange.
Nuvi quickly takes the form of Gamera and looks around for this being…

A rumbling sound filled the air, as the ground, a distance away from the gamera look alike, began to crack and glow. It would slowly rise, a blood red light shining through the cracks, until it seemed to explode in every direction, leaving a large cloud of dust.
And Etheral roar filled the air, as the dust cleared, and Magren stood in his mix of bipedal and quadrepedal stance. He was currently on two feet, but was hunched over, ready to change that at any moment. It had sensed this being of energy, and had come for only a single purpose.
To Destroy it.

Hyper walks into the room and slaps both member-combatants on the head with his swizzle stick.
Monsters...KILL! Wait a second...don't kill, I'm in the way...fight, don't kill...yeah, that's about right...

Nuvi looked at the other kaiju. He could sense there was something...different about it. That's when it hit him. It was made from energy, like him!
It would be an obscenely simple task to destroy this thing. He had complete control over energy, all he had to do was disperse it. But when he tried, nothing happened!
Much to his dismay, Nuvi realized this creature was made from Negative Energy, which he couldn't control. Even worse was the fact that Negative Energy and normal energy didn't mix well.
Nuvi's eye's narrowed. No matter. He'll still destroy this thing. He opened his maw and unleashed a powerful blast of pure energy at Magren, the attack slamming into his chest and knocking him back with a thunderous explosion.
Nuvi smiled internally. A decent opening salvo. He decided to press the advantage, quickly re-forming into Heisei Rodan and taking to the air, hoping to impale the beast with his beak...

If Magren had any of letting this thing live, they were gone. It reared itself up as the beast changed form into a large Rodan-esque figure. As the figure approached him, Magren's jaw opened, as the inside of his mouth glowed red. 3 Spheres launched thenselves form his mouth, one directly after the other.
These smashed into the large enegry figure, sending it tumbling to the ground. And Since it was two forces of opposite energy colliding, Magren wanted to see him transform and shrug off THAT damage.
It roared gleefully, as it's tails seemed to sharp, and become more solid. They then rocketted forward, attempting to stab into the fallen energy-based being.

For several seconds seconds, Nuvi was stunned. He knew the negative energy would hurt him, but he was still surprised by how hard he'd been hit. He shook off the cobwebs just in time to see the tails of the thing rocketing toward him. With a squawk, Nuvi flapped his powerful wings and took off into the air, narrowly avoiding being impaled.
He knew that relying on his energy attacks to kill this thing wouldn't work. It could nullify weak ones, so he'd have to use powerful blasts each time, and that would take a toll on him. Lucky for Nuvi, there was an alternate strategy available that would work just fine, but the form he was in now simply wouldn't do. He needed something with opposable thumbs.
With that, he changed form once again, this time to Monster X. With that done, he created two throwing axes, one in each hand. Nuvi threw them both, and each embedded itself into Magren's shoulders. Nuvi allowed a grunt of satisfaction as his target screeched. But then he noticed the two axes quickly melted into heaps after they came in contact with the beast. The thing must have acid blood, or skin.
Nuvi was going to have to stick to long-range attacks. Summoning his willpower, he unleashed a blast of powerful energy from his chest...

Magren screeched as the blast smashed into his torso, sending him hurtling back into a building. A large dust cloud kicked up like a gigantic smoke screen, covering the crash site. Several moments of silence ensued. Then, a loud screeching sound filled the air. Magren leaped out of the wreackage, decsending upon his opponent's location.
He hit the ground, roaring in fury, as he landed right in front of the beast. His hands rocketted forward, as they enlarged slightly, grabbing him around the torso, each of his hands being as large as Magren himself.
He roared in glee as his negative energy as well as acidic skin began to burn away at the opponent's skin, before finally quickly whipping around and releasing him into the air. As he was in the air, an orange beam erupted form his maw, heading straight toward him nearly moments after Magren let go.

It was just as Nuvi had feared, the kaiju's skin was acidic. Plus merely touching the negative energy-based creature caused him harm. But he had no time to dwell, as Magren had unleashed another attack as soon as he'd flung Nuvi in the air. Nuvi had only time to let off a quick blast of his own that hit Magren's attack. The two attacks exploded and the impact from the shockwave knocked Nuvi even further into the air.
It hurt, but it was much better then taking a full-on blast. Now, to avoid slamming into the ground, he quickly changed form once again, this time to Adult Destoroyah. With a few flaps of his wings, he was able to stabilize himself and land safely on the ground. As soon as he was on ground, he charged at Magren, leaping into the air several meters in front of him and coming down with his horn, charging the attack with energy. The horn came down hard and gashed into Magren's side, burning it as well from the energy.
Not wanting to waste time, Nuvi fired another energy shot. He had to keep this thing stunned long enough for him to change into a more agile form, as the hulking Destoroyah wouldn't allow him to dodge very many attacks. He wasn't even sure if this attack would be strong enough to overcome Magren's natural energy defense.

It impacted Magren, and his entire torso bent backward in an akward position, far too much to be from the blast. Before Nuvi could realize it, Magren attacked. His body straightened and stretched out as a orange beam leapt form his maw, shasming into Nuvi and sending it hurtling back into a large building, which then crumpled atop it.
Without wasting a moment, Magren's tails lashed up rising into the air, then falling into the wreckage. Anything within would be stabbed, and Magren had every intention of stabbing Nuvi. However, not all the way through.
Then it would end too fast, now wouldn't it? And where was the fun in that?

As Magren had hoped, the tails impaled the rubble and in all likelihood Nuvi within. But he was in for a bit of a surprise. From within the rubble, Nuvi burst forth, in the form of Manda! He'd changed form while buried to a kaiju with far less surface area and had avoided three of the tails, only one had found it's mark.
Magren then noticed something taking form by Nuvi's tail...a large, spiked mace. His snake-like tail wrapped around it, and before Magren could react, Nuvi slammed the weapon right across his face, opening several gashes on it and knocking him over.
Wasting not a moment, Nuvi's tail wrapped around the remaining tail of Magren, and quickly plucked it out of him, his own skin burning slightly from the effort.
Next, Nuvi once again shifted his form, this time to Barugon. Lowering his head, he charged in, intent on using the spear to skewer his stunned enemy...

As the Barugon look-alike charged, he would have little time to react as his thrust was countered. Magren's face twisted into a sadistic grin, as it's arm came up and batted the spear-like appendage away as it neared, diverting it's course form Magren himself.
Then, he whipped around as his tails wrapped around the torso of Nuvi, picking him up into the air. The ends of the tails stabbed into it's body, as the acidic skin melted into Nuvi, causing immense burning all over it. Magren only continued to grin.
The grin then turned into a roar, as it's maw opened widely. From within, a large orange beam rocketted out, heading straight toward the binded Nuvi. Upon impact, the tails would release grip, if Nuvi didn't escape. However, they would not let go before impact, not even a second.

The painful beam slammed into Nuvi just as Magren released him, just as he’d planned. Nuvi slammed into the ground and he writhed around, pain and rage dominating his mind.
Nuvi nutted up and shrugged off the damage as best he could. With Magren closing in, Nuvi charged again, hoping to take it by surprise and impale it with the spear on his head. For extra effect, he charged the spearhead up with energy so it would cause an explosion when it impaled him. Magren saw Nuvi and at the last second, moved his body to the side, but he still incurred a long cut on his side from the passing Nuvi. The energy stored within his spear made several large explosions all across the cut, opening it even more.
Nuii stopped and whirled around. His enemy was reeling from that attack. Not wasting a second, he charged up a powerful blast of pure energy to be released from his spear head…
