Scorpvs. AmeathArena: NYC (Standard rules) Ref: Needed Intro: It was a somewhat sunny day in the big apple. The birds were chirping and the people were acting very nicely today. This great day was about to turn to a day of devastation. The ground started to shake on the island and just as sudden did the earthquake began, it stopped. Silence and fear filled the air. . . Bursting out of the ground was Scorp, the gigantic scorpion. The creature started to attack everything in sight. Two policemen started shooting at the beast, but with no effect. The creature used it's double jaw to devour one of the policemen while the other one fled. Scorp began laying seige to the rest of the city, decimating several buildings in it's wake. Thousands of people were being slaughtered. Scorp starts snapping in the air wildly with his pincers. It has declared NYC it's new territory and was ready to defend it, violently, if necessary. Scorp could feel it on his hairs that something else was coming here. It didn't know what it could be but one thing was forsure, it was big and it's alive.

A shriek echoing from the heavens alerts the scorpion kaiju to the presence of a monster. The Earth guardian Battra lurks high above and will make an appearance if any kaiju break a rule.
Alright guys, feel free to start.

So we can fight now, right?
Scorp searches for his foe who is somewhere in the city, after a few minutes Scorp finally finds Ameath near the pier and engages in combat. The giant scorpion will not let this thing invade it's territory, this is it's home and it will defend it with all it's got. Scorp starts his assault on the giant golem. The giant scorpion lunges at the golem and knocks both kaiju into the ocean. The golem, made out of stone, quickly fell down to the ocean floor. The giant scorpion's plan has worked, now that Ameath is under water it should be moving slower than ever.
Scorp swims down to the ocean floor and searches for his foe. Scorp finds his foe laying on the floor and decides to land about 50 meters from his rocky foe. Scorp opens his pincers and fires a barrage of barbs at the golem.

I believe you were to refrain from continuing the match until I posted my intro.
Ameath was overcome by surprise over how this creature could have formulated such a strategy. This arachnid was clearly different from the many mindless killers it had slain.
It had been slumbering peacefully in the cavern it made its shelter when the call penatrated its dreams. The Earth Ameath had called its mother had told it of a great destruction that would come unless it could avert it. She opened for it a path, a chasm above his dormant body that he had made use of to confront the source of the upcoming destruction. It ascended to the surface. It drank in the precious sunlight it had exiled itself from. If...it were to be released on the surface, there would be no forgiveness. This short lived peace had been violated when Ameath's attacker discovered it and dragged it down to darkness again.
Ameath made no attempt to dodge the barbs, instead opting to move forward toward its foe and take the full power of the attack. Givin the durability of its stone body, the damage amounted to little more than many scratches. Arriving at its foe, Ameath clasped his hands together and swung down at Scorp's back. The power of the attack was somewhat diluted by the water, but it still left a bit of an indent of Scorp's thick carapace. Ameath lifted its right leg, preparing to smash its gigantic foot into the creature's back.

I believe you were to refrain from continuing the match until I posted my intro. Well I wasn't forsure what he meant by "feel free to start". My bad. Scorp rolled to the left and dodged Ameath's foot. The scorpion devised yet another tactic. On the scorpion kaiju's back, small openings appeared and small white scorplings started crawling out of holes(about 15 in total). Scorp commands it's children to swarm over the golem's body and attack it. The Scorplings were did as they were told. The white scorpions started to cover Ameath all over his body and started to chip away to behemoth's body by using their small pincers and stingers, hoping to turn this statue into dust. Tiny bits and pieces of Ameath were starting to floating down to the ocean floor. As Ameath was preoccupied with the first batch, Scorp unleashes another batch(also about 15 in total) of scorplings and orders them to aid their siblings. The next batch of scorplings were steadily racing towards the giant golem. Note: If you are wanting info about the scorplings, each one is about the size of a pick-up truck and weighs about the same as one also.

As the Scorpling continued to pick at Ameath's stone body, it released hundreds of pebbles, coating them with energy. The pebbles tore right through the tiny arachnids, killing all but five of them. Those surviving were knocked right off the golem. They're hopes for survival shattered with a stomp to the underbelly.
The second wave of Scorplings was met with a swift strike coupled with a few hundred energy coated pebbles. The pebbles buried themselves right in the heads of three Scorplings, killing them. Two were killed by the sheer force of Ameath's powerful strike. The remaining ten obeyed the will of their master and crawled onto the golem, attempting to penetrate Ameath's body. Ameath enclosed his gigantic arms around its body and squeezed, the force of this crushing the six scorpions that had gathered around the area. The remaining four Scorplings were disposed of as a wave of energy pebbles tore into their bodies.
Ameath reached itself out to the Earth Mother, praying that the thirty creatures it had just dispatched be received. Ameath then turned its eyes toward its foe and a wave of loathing was unleashed in its very soul. For any creature to use such tender, vulnerable life forms as a simple meat shield was unforgivable. It vowed this action would be met with due punishment.
Ameath raised its left foot and brought it down on Scorp. The dent in its carapace grew greater in size and cracks appeared around it. An onslaught of bubbles left the creature's mount as it screamed in pain. Wasting no time, Ameath clenched its left hand into a fist and swung down at the beast's head.

Scorp leaped onto Ameath's arm, allowing the massive scorpion to avoid the attack and to retaliate. Scorp scrambles towards Ameath's back and now it would soon attack. Scorp's tail started to lean back and back until . . . WHACK! Scorp's tail stinger plunged itself into the back of Ameath's head. Scorp pulled it's tail out of the small head wound. Ameath reached to the back of it's head and noticed that there was a small hole in the back.
The giant scorpion knew that it's attack wouldn't do much damage on the rock creature but at least it help it will help it in becoming a pile of pebbles by the end of this fight(considering it even used parts of it's own body to kill the scorplings, it should weakened it's body a little). Scorp could tell that the golem's body looked a little deteriorated, but that wasn't enough. Scorp wanted the thing out of it's territory, dead or alive.
The arachnid leaped off the goliath's back and started swimming around in circles, going faster and faster. This trick started to make the golem look a little dizzy. After a few minutes of circling, Scorp aims his tail and pincers and fired a heavy barrage of regular barbs at Ameath.

Regaining itself quickly enough to shift its body to the right, Amaeth managed to evade around half the barbs. Colliding with its massive body, the barbs somewhat widened the holes in the more deteriorated areas, but still dealt no major damage.
Amaeth realized that it needed to get itself out of this water if it was going to win. Given its gigantic mass, this was going to be impossible. There was only one possible option left, but Ameath was reluctant to take it. All the innocent creatures residing in this portion of the ocean would die. Nothing was ever worth the destruction of innocent life. Even so, it had to be done. If this beast was not slain, the city would be reduced to a pile of rubble and all the humans residing in it would be killed. That had to be prevented at any cost.
Ameath spread its arms out wide, reaching itself out to the Earth Mother. The water surrounding it and its arachnid foe began to bubble. A rectangular hole appeared at the surface and began to widen. The water surrounding Ameath and Scorp began to decrease in amount, and soon, the cool air touched Ameath's body again. The section of dry land Ameath standed on was boxed in by a rectangular wall of water similar to one in a certain human legend. Praying that the innocent lives taken as a result of this action be received, Ameath issued one more request to its mother. The surrounding box of water began to drop rapidly in temperature, eventually freezing solid.
No longer hindered by the water, Ameath marched toward its opponent and picked it up. Flipping it around, it dropped the arachnid on its back. Now its tender underbelly was exposed. Ameath punched the thing with all the power in its body, sending a large gob of blood into the air and onto Amaeth's face. Raising its arm again, Ameath attempted to mimic the move.

Scorp quickly fired a huge glob of webbing at Ameath's face with enough force to send the rock golem stumbling backwards, causing it's fist to slam into one of the icy walls. Bits and pieces of ice were falling into the rectangle arena. As Ameath was trying to rip off the webbing, Scorp quickly got up and started climbing up the Icy Walls. The gargantuan scorpion had thought of another idea.
Scorp opens his pincers, the inside of his pincers start to glow a bright purple color and fires a barrage of energy barbs at the Icy wall opposite of him. The icy wall started to crumble into big and small pieces and started to fall onto Ameath, hoping to encase the stone giant into an icy tomb. Scorp was using the Earth Mother's powers against her son.

The chunks of ice collided with Ameath's body, burying its legs and torso. Ameath again reached out to the Mother and prayed for relief. This request was granted as the ice immediately melted. Hoisting itself up, Ameath prepared to continue its assault.
The scorpion's little power play had given the golem an idea. It slammed its fist on the wall of ice Scorp now stood on. A chunk of the wall crumbled, taking the beast down with it. Wasting no time, Ameath slammed its fist on the wall again, sending chunks of ice crashing down on the prostrate arachnid and burying it completely. Ameath had no intention of freezing it to death. No. That would be too cruel. It desired to grant the beast a quick death, despite the suffering it had caused.
The chunks of ice began to melt and soon, Scorp was half immersed in a pool of water, lying on its back. The beast began to notice an odd change in the temperature of the water. It was growing hotter by the second. After a minute, the water reached its boiling point and Scorp began to gestate wildly in pain. Ameath raised its foot, again targeting the creature's underbelly.

Scorp saw the golem's foot coming down and quickly a stream of webbing at it's foot and yanked the web hard, causing the stone giant to lose it's balance and fell backwards with a loud thud. Water was flying everywhere when the giant fell, the extreme heat started to melt the icy walls that surrounded the arena. Scorp started to climb the walls as quickly as possible and crawled over to the side where Ameath's head was pointing. Scorp noticed that the wall felt loose, maybe it could use this to it's advantage. . .
The giant scorpion climbed up to the top of the wall and sinked it's feet into the wall. Then Scorp started to shake back and forth very quickly, loosening the wall until finally, the entire wall begins to fall right where Ameath was and Scorp jumped off the wall and back into the ocean right at the last second.
Scorp knew that if Ameath tries that again, then the stone giant could endanger innocent sea life and he knew that the giant wouldn't dare endanger the life of innocent lives. Not only was the scorpion attacking the golem physically, but mentally as well.

Ameath again began to sink as the water built up around its body. Its last little plan had failed. This opponent was constantly surprising the golem with its vast intelligence. It again questioned the merit of killing such a being..
Landing again on the ocean floor and hoisting itself up, Ameath saw that its foe was standing only about a meter away, facing it directly. Before it could react, the golem released one hundred or so energy coated pebbles from its legs. The pebbles collided right with Scorp's face. The arachnid screamed as thin streams of blood began to flow out of its face, littered with cracks and holes. Ameath prepared another volley and released another hundred pebbles at its opponent.

Scorp quickly shakes it's body, spreading it's blood-acid throughout the water, creating a bloody cloak in the area. The pebbles shot through the cloak, revealing nothing there. The giant's attack had missed. But something worse had happened, Scorp was nowhere to be found and almost everything in acid cloud started to melt besides Ameath. Ameath has killed several species of sea life due to his attack.
Ameath started to turn around, searching for his opponent. But then, the stone golem started to hear a whooshing sound but didn't know where it was coming from. One thing was forsure was that it was getting louder. . .
BLAM! Scorp slams Ameath's back so hard that the rock golem stumbled into a rock formation. Scorp shakes his head since the attack was painful to him as well. But at least it was worth it, bits and pieces of Ameath's back started to crumble with it's chest having a small crack on it. The stone giant's body was starting to look mildly deteriorated. Scorp notices that the rock formation looked weakened from the attack. Scorp swims away for a short distant, opens up his pincers and fires a cluster of energy barbs at the top of the rock formation, hoping to make the rock slide bury the golem.

OOC:Sorry the intervals in between my posts have been so long. Finals kinda got in the way, but now that those are done I should be posting more frequently.
Noticing the barbs, Ameath realized Scorp's plan of attack. Unable to move fast enough to avoid the falling rock, Ameath realized it would have to further expend pieces of its body. Ameath released fifty or so pebbles. The tiny stones collided with most of the barbs, detonating them before they could hit the rock formation. Five or so barbs connected with the formation however, sending two huge chunks of rock flying off the formation. One landed harmlessly on the ocean floor, while one landed on the golem's foot. A quick, hard little jerk was all it took to remove it.
Eyeing the still floating arachnid, Ameath quickly grabbed the nearest hunk of rock and chucked it at Scorp. The rock slammed into the scorpian's head, opening several fresh wounds. As the beast flailed about, Ameath grabbed the other rock and tossed it at its foe.
