its my understanding that THE GODZILLA is reffing


The silence of this barren void known as Planet X was broken by the echo of a roar. The kaiju Anguirus trudges through this wasteland of a planet in search of an enemy. Quite frankly, the dinosaur was very confused how he got to Planet X but regardless, was ready to engage in combat. The monster passes by abstract rock formations as he snoops for a sparring partner.

Unseen by the carapace-covered kaiju, Godzilla crept nearby, hiding behind a series of large rock formations. He held low the ground, watching Anguirus, curious. He had no idea how he or Anguirus had gotten here, but for now he didn't care. Godzilla scrambled up one of the larger rocks, crouching atop the rock and looking down at Anguirus. Lifting his head high and raising his spines, Godzilla let out his infamous battle cry. His roar echoing through the abyss, Godzilla leapt from the rock and landed on his feet directly ahead of Anguirus.

BEGIN!

Anguirus paused at the arrival of another monster on this planet. It was his adversary, Godzilla. The King of the Monsters issued a challenge to Anguirus; the winner would leave the planet, while the loser died a cold, lonely death here. Not one to back down, Anguirus roars in acceptance.

The carapace-equipped monster begins the match by charging forward at a rapid pace. As he achieved a close proximity to the saurian, Anguirus twists his body around so his head was facing away from Gojira. The four-legged beast's front leg muscles flexed as he pushed off the ground and sent his back side forward. The reared-back hind legs shoot forward and kick the saurian square in the chest with a decent amount of force. Godzilla grunted from the impact; in addition to knocking the wind outta him, it sent him back, into a stationary spiked boulder. The crooked sharp ends stabbed into Goji's hide, shedding trickles of crimson liquid from the wounds.

While Godzilla was impaled to the rock formation, Anguirus releases a stream of fire from his orifice towards the stuck Goji...

Godzilla lifted himself up off the spire, taking the brunt of the flame blast with his chest. He reeled back from the heat, nearly falling back on the rock- but he endured the lapping flames. He had faught many a foe who used the same attack, and just as they had failed, so would Anguirus. Godzilla rushed forward, pushing through the stream of flame and lowering his head. He slammed into his foe, ramming the back of his arm into Anguirus' neck and shoving him down into the dirt. Lunging towards the soft spot behind Anguirus' crown, Godzilla opened his mouth and lashed out with his razor-sharp teeth, ready to sink all four rows into warm flesh.

To counter Godzilla's lunge, Anguirus employs his strong legs to push off the ground right at the King of the Monsters. Anguirus crashes carapace-first into Godzilla's chest (which was tenderized a small bit by the flames from a moment ago). This in turn causes Godzilla to stumble back a few steps. Goji grunts as the dozens of sharp spikes lacing the back shell of his enemy hook into his flesh, shedding drops of crimson blood onto the shell. Anguirus remained stuck to the saurian's chest for 3 or 4 seconds before shaking himself from the beast. Godzilla stared with cold, unforgiving eyes at Anguirud. The four-legged kaiju releases his roar before spinning around, sending a boulder hurling towards Gojira via his tail at a rapid pace...

Godzilla ducked, allowing the boulder to hurdle on past him. He charged, opening his jaws wide and attacking without quarter. Godzilla forced his bony skull beneath Anguirus' chin and bit down hard on the creature's throat, ripping deep into the monster's flesh with his mulititude of fangs. He shook his head wildly, jerking his foe's head back and forth and shaking him like a play thing. Godzilla let go with a flick of his head, throwing Anguirus aside like a thuroughly-chewed bone. As the mutant ankylosaur fell, Godzilla backed up and snarled, wary of another rising attack.

Anguirus looks up at his saurian enemy. Now he was mad. Angs digs his paw into the ground like a bull preparing to charge.

Anguirus charges forward before pouncing on Godzilla, bringing the King to the ground (no damage). Anguirus transitions into a violent fit of rage and mauls Godzilla's face with his front paws. The sharp claws of the dinosaur kaiju rake deep carvings into Goji's face, blood splattering everywhere. Godzilla shook his head trying to avoid the blows, but that just served to fuel Anguirus’s rage and thus the kaiju just kept slashing his paws faster and harder.

By now Anguirus was satisfied with his act of retaliation. He moves himself off of the downed Goji and steps to the side leaving bloody paw prints in the ground. The titan had pieces of bloody flesh stuck to his nails. Godzilla's face was soaked with crimson. Standing up on his hind legs, Anguirus grabs Gojira's tail and spins around a few cycles (for momentum-gaining purposes) before releasing the kaiju, sending Godzilla hurling towards a formation of jagged rocks...

Godzilla slammed into the side of the rocks, shaking them and knocking off some of their pointed tips. He laid against them for a moment, heaving, blood dripping from his face. Anguirus meant buiness this time... he was more brutal than before. But Godzilla still held the better hand.
Standing up and turning towards Anguirus, Godzilla roared furiously. Again he charged, ripping away at the ground at all fours like an olympic sprinter and then rising up to a full run. He rushed towards Anguirus and swung open his jaws as if ready to swallow up his head- but as his upright spines sparked with electricity, it became evident that that was not his plan.
So close that Anguirus was surely smelling his breath, Godzilla unleashed his shotgun breath. The blinding flash of violent, unconcentrated radioactive energy burst out, consuming Anguirus' entire head. The blast shook the air like thunder and threw Anguirus, face charred black, flying backwards, sliding on his back.
Godzilla flexed his clawed fingers and roared to the heavens, his spines glowing with energy. He let loose his beam, sending the stream of thermonuclear devastation straight for his flipped opponent.

Anguirus curls into a ball thus allowing his back shell to block the beam. The beam was powerful, yes; it pushed the curled up Anguirus back a small distance. However, Anguirus thankfully had a strong carapace and felt barely anything.

Anguirus uncurls and stands on his four limbs. Turning his sights to Gojira, the kaiju advances towards him. As he neared the saurian, he rose to his two feet, and embraced Gojira, hugging his arms around the King of the Monsters as his dagger-like fangs sink into the right forearm. Godzilla grunted at first, but as Anguirus clamped his jaws harder and jerked his head violently to the sides to amplify the magnitude of the pain and the shed of blood, Godzilla roared. The taste of blood was fueling Anguirus' drive; the beast yanked and tugged, obsessed with shedding more blood. It felt like Angs was gonna rip the limb off!

Anguirus comes to his senses and releases his hold on the limb. Godzilla holds his bloody, mauled limb, growling in anger. Agony overpowered the wounded limb. Spinning around, Anguirus attempts to bash his club-like tail into Godzilla’s head…

Godzilla ducked down as the spike-laden mace sailed over his head. He backed off, holding his bleeding arm to his chest as the other outstretched, claws ready to defend. Fins lighting up, Godzilla charged his beam and released. The searing-hot beam of blue energy shot through the still alien air and struck Anguirus' turning flank with an explosion of heat and light that flipped the ankylosaur onto it's side. With his foe's underbelly exposed, Godzilla charged, prepared to rake his claws through Anguirus' belly.

As Godzilla neared, Anguirus leaned towards the side opposite to the one Godzilla was charging; he executed his plan at the last second so Godzilla wouldn’t have a chance to stop his attack. So before Godzilla could halt his attack, his hands end up impaling themselves into the pesky carapace. The beast roared in defiance as blood lazily streamed from the hands with spikes through them and continued to stream down the shell, zigzagging around various spikes.

Anguirus rips his shell away violently, sparking more agony to pulsate in Godzilla's shredded hands. As he turned, his tail tripped the beast, bringing the King of the Monsters harmlessly to the ground belly-first. With his front right paw pushing Godzilla's face into the ground and his left paw pinning the right arm down, Anguirus lunges forward, ready to sink his saliva-coated pearly whites into Godzilla's neck (and staying out of distance of the switch blade dorsal knives)…

Godzilla reared back his head, turning and opening his jaws in retaliation. As Anguirus drew near, Godzilla let out another blast of shotgun breath, throwing the spiny reptile back, smoke pouring from it's jaws.
Godzilla stood up, shook himself, and growled. A nearby spire of rock caught his eye, and he immediately saw it of use. Reaching down with his jaws and breaking it off the ground, Godzilla hurled the spear of rock at his recoiling foe.

As Anguirus was gathering his bearings, he noticed the approaching object. He bashes it away with his left arm. His left arm received a cut from the sharp object, but Anguirus can handle the minor wound. Anguirus growls at first, and then releases a roar. Time for some payback.

Anguirus gallops forward like a dog or a horse, and rams head-first into Godzilla's left knee. The nasal horn in addition to the crown of spikes hooks into Godzilla's knee. The force of the impact pushed Gojira back a couple of meters or so. As soon as Anguirus' spikes pierced the knee, an explosion of pain traveled throughout the left leg. Without mercy, Anguirus tears his head to the side, ripping the crown and the nasal horn out of the impalement marks. At the same time as Anguirus dislodged his spikes, his maw released a blast of fiery madness, about to bask the left knee with a sheet of hot flames at point-blank range...

With a pain-filled jerk, Godzilla lifted his leg, allowing the torrent of flame to pass underneath it. He cringed as he felt the intense heat generated from the passing fire- it was close, but not close enough.
With his leg already lifted in position, Godzilla kicked Anguirus' head, striking his skull with curved talons. The quadruped staggered back, dizzied by the sudden impact. Godzilla stepped forward with his good leg and and fired his beam, aiming at the dinosaur's head.
