It's that time of the mont... Year. 2008 is upon us, and a tradition somewhat started on TK.. It's time to raise some chaos.
30 (+) kaiju
1 Arena
1 Chance for Greatness
Anybody that took part in the previous Clash should know how it works. For those that didn't, here's the run down.
The match starts out with simply 2 kaiju that are randomly drawn. On the tenth post, a 3rd kaiju. It repeats in that pattern, the number of posts dwindling as newer kaiju come in. It runs down from every 10 posts to 5 posts where one kaiju is removed and another brought in.
Example:
Start: Godzilla vs. Anguirus
After 10th Post: Rodan is brought in
After 20th Post: Varan is brought in
After 25th post: Anguirus is removed, Kumonga brought in
People can enter three of their kaiju. This means everybody has three chances to win. In the example, the player of Anguirus is not out. Instead his second choice kaiju gets thrown in the box and will then be randomly drawn out anywhere after the 30th post to the end of the game.
This repeats until every kaiju is dead.
Unlike the original Clash, there is not just one ref for this, but instead a committee composed of myself, Inferno Rodan, DinoHunter, and two others we are still in talks with. The committee will decide which kaiju are damaged enough to be taken out of the match.
The arena shall be New York City, an area with water for water-based kaiju, clear skies, and plenty of destruction.
The match will be fought in standard, normal Arena rules.
The Prize? Well, the prize is the Arena Championship. That means, for Bio or OR, they will have to play very hard to retain their championship.
