The monster knew it couldn't escape the blast directly, but he was smart enough to know how to minimize the damage done by Daegre's plan. As the ball hurled toward him, the many missiles and rounds within Zygrag's body, along with his three main Vulcan, moved away from the impact area.
When the blast sent a ball of raging fire upward, only a few scattered missiles detonated in the junkyard's body. The form of the giant, obscured by the smoke and fire, couldn't be seen, but the honking of its horns could be.
From the flames came four missiles, all flying directly straight for Daegre's face. The guardian release a whale-like moan of noise as it clutched its face, more-so its eyes as smoke, flames, and shrapnel from the missiles themselves entered them.
Zygrag's bulking form emerged from the smoky Hell and released a snarl before looking around. Pieces of his body laying around were going to be put to use. As he did before, he made the metal rise into the air and shot directly upward.. They themselves also aiming for the only non-armored area... The eyes.

Daegre's face was already covered by his arms as he shot straight up, the metal swarm following him. Once he finally managed to clear his eyes he shut off his boosters and sank straight down, headed for the metal swarm rising up at him. When he got close enough he released another energy pulse that blasted the swarm away in an orbular shockwave, clearing the way for Daegre's freefall upon Zygrag. With a growl, his energy boosters shot up again and he proceeded to work his advantage upon the monster by showering him with energy orbs from high in the sky, ready to turn the ground into a sea of fire.

Zygrag looked to its left, and then to its right just as the first balls detonated on the ground. Its arms spread out to the side, all of its metal vibrating. His claw-like toes pulled into the ground, occasionally dipping down.
There wasn't as much metal as their is in a great city, but enough littered the ground now that allowed the behemoth to repel its body from the metal. His limit soon came to be, he'd have to stay there or let gravity take its grip, and as balls of energy raced to the ground and him, one smashing hard on his chest and sending a shower of debris outward, his long, chain-like and barbed wire-like weapons lashed from his arms like tools of Hell.
Two of the objects wrapped around the guardian's legs and arms, and as the giant began to lower, Daegre was pulled down also. Its heel touching the ground again, the junkyard boosted itself up via the magnetic-like energies, allowing him to bring up his legs like a raptor would, its scythe-like talons emerging from his feet.
Zygrag let out a horrible grind as its maw clamped around Daegre's throat, feet planted on chest, and scythes stabbed into his shoulder. The beast's head came back, metal grinding on armor and spilling some ichor, but the claws are what did the damage. They both came down on an angle, the edges creating sparks as they slowly cut through armor and finally spilt blood of the beast, and both of Daegre's arms were unable to move as the magnetic force prevented them from moving.
With a push of his feet, Zygrag smacked hard on the ground, balancing himself on one foot before bringing the other down and shooting both arms back and pulling back its chain-like tentacles.
The tentacles wrapped around Zygrag's arms and only hung a few meters off of them as the titan looked into the hero's eyes. The giant pointed its arms at the creature's face once again and released another volley of projectile missiles.

Daegre's screeches filled the air from Zygrag's first assaults on his body. Yet as the monster finally lept back from him, Daegre's eyes kept trained on him.
The punishment was working, and his pain was starting to finally feel like it was worth it.
With all the metal blown up from Zygrag's body, his own body and mass had shrunk. The monster was now slightly smaller than Daegre was.
With new vigor and determination, Daegre easily evaded the missiles by ducking down low to the ground, and then let loose with his organic boosters, slamming right into Zygrag's already burning form with a full-speed smash that sent more chunks flying, and driving both monsters across the streets for several meters. Daegre then grabbed onto the metal monster's arms, holding tight and looking the monster straight in the face. He then launched a point-blank orb straight at the monster's chest, engulfing the two in another explosion. With Daegre anchored to the ground, Zyrgag was sent flying through the air, with pieces of both his arms ripped out from Daegre's grip as he tossed the scraps away and watched more pieces of Zygrag's metal form fly harmlessly through and, watching him crash in a sparking heap on the ground a good while away. Not taking any chances, Daegre shot another energy orb at Zygrag from his stance from afar.

Zygrag looked up just as the balls launched and, while back-first on the ground, rolled to the side. The first ball smashed on the ground, a ball of fire roaring upward, while a second ball smashed on the other side of the junkyard-like titan.
As he rolled again, the three Vulcans on his back slid upward, the barrels quickly rotating and beginning to fire. The weakened armor on Daegre's chest finally began to break as dozens of rounds ripped apart the flesh and send sprays of blood washing across the ruined ground that acted as the battle field.
Zygrag's body seemed to coil on itself before rolling forward and jumping forward. True, its body was considerably smaller than it was originally, but the monster felt no pain, it had no nerves and no circuits to exploit. On the other hand, Daegre was reeling as dozens of bullet wound-like holes spilled fluids on the ground.
Seeing his chains, the mech lifted its right arm, launching more missiles directly for the guardian's eyes.

Daegre clenched his teeth from the pain, but weathered it just as well. He had survived being impaled multiple times, his arm ripped clean off, and he had still risen victorious. He would not let a simple walking gun stop him.
That was all that this creature was in the long run, continuing to bother using missiles and other large projectiles aimed for Daegre's head, the absolute easiest part of his body to dodge with. It wouldn't have mattered, however, because Daegre did not give Zygrag a chance to fling the missiles outward.
The moment the machine-like monster lifted its right arm Daegre had launched a tactile energy orb at it, which collided with the missiles the moment their silos opened up. The chain reaction of missile explosions was tremendous, cleanly blowing off the metal chunks that once composed Zygrag's arm. The explosions were enough to cause Zygrag to lose his balance, the opening Daegre needed to fire off his energy boosters and slam into Zygrag's smaller form. This time he roared in satisfaction as the force of the body-slam knocked off even more chunks of Zygrag off, including some of its weapons and several chunks of its right leg, causing Zygrag to trip upon itself. It was running out of metal to compose a proper body. Daegre ended his devastating blows with a launch high into the air and another rain of energy orbs at Zygrag's shrinking form.
Soon enough, one of two things would happen: Zygrag would be out of weapons and left a simple metal body, or Zygrag's weapons would be so closely packed together that an energy orb would inevitable cause one to explode, leading to a chain reaction of destruction across what was left of Zygrag's body.

Zygrag release a grinding like growl as his head fell to the side. A sickening crack and bending sound came from his legs as the metal that composed them bent and twisted. He was smaller, now not just the size of Daegre, but actually smaller!
Oh he'll pay... He'll pay.. The magnetic monster thought to himself.
His hand, the one recently attacked, looks now more like a twisted and burned, dead metallic tree with random beams and splinters replacing the fingers.
However...
Zygrag, a weakness easily exploitable in this field, wasn't slowing down. Just getting smaller.
As Daegre's shower of energized attacks began to pour from the sky, the titan of rust released an ear-ringing shriek as wave after wave of missile might erupted from not only his hands.. But virtually every port in his body.
He was out of missiles and tank rounds by doing this, but this sacrifice was needed. Smart he is as he watched the wall of fire build in the sky as both their assaults collided.
As the wall of flames spread outward, the Earth-born guardian was oblivious as to what was slowly snaking its way under the flames and preparing to lash out..
Two, only two, rope-like vines of twisted steel gripped the guardian's legs. The ropes, coming from the mech's twisted arms, quickly began to pull downward.
Both their assaults stopped then...
Zygrag, as he reeled in his prey, slowly stood up, his legs bending and creaking even more so then when he was laying. His own metal that scattered the ground was now enough to give him his full levitation... and now it's pay back time.
As the ropes pulled Daegre closer, the weapon's right Laser Vulcan moved even further to the side and upward, almost going on its shoulder.
If Zygrag had been capable of speech, he'd been saying something along the lines of "Dodge this!" as the released the guardian and thrust his top body forward. Daegre's eyes opened wide as the cannon was forced into his maw...
Then, exactly what everyone was fearing... Happened.
The weapon began to send wave after wave of burning laser rounds into Daegre's body. Only a short second passed before Zygrag floated backward, allowing Daegre's tweaking body to fall to the ground, smoke spewing from his nostrils... And blood, saliva, and chunks of meat flowing freely from his maw.
Remaining in the air and looking downward at his enemy, Zygrag locked and loaded his three Laser Vulcans again....

Daegre gurgled blood as he lay on the ground. It hurt like hell, and no one knew it better than he did. The pain, however, was the last thing on his mind. A being of his status didn't fear pain, it didn't even fear death.
What he did fear was allowing this monster to continue to be a threat to the planet.
And that objective was the one thing that drove his body to continue seemingly past its limit. Zygrag's laser vulcans aimed down on him and prepared to fire on his form. But a sudden kick of a sandstorm would shoot up into the air from Daegre's energy boosters blasting against the ground. It was within the next three seconds that a burning slice was heard through the air. Zygrag would see Daegre's body right in front of him, blood dripping across his form as Daegre's eyes showed no signs of backing down. What was more relevant, however, was his hand, in which was formed a bright green blade of energy jutting out across his claws, and the effect the swing of this blade had on Zygrag, as all three of its laser vulcans had their barrels sliced off, causing all three weapons to explode from the heat and compromising of their structures. It was enough to force Zygrag back to the ground, but not enough to keep the enormous Daegre off him as the guardian swung a wide arc of his Terra-Sword at Zygrag, causing more chunks of the diminutive mecha to fly through the air with a glowing red burning slash across its chest, keeping its balance stumbled. Then, Daegre tightened his stance and started to unleash an endless barrage of samurai-speed sword slices across Zygrag, never losing distance, showing no mercy.

At MM's request...
Had a bit of a tough time coming to a decision here, but I eventually decided on a DRAW. You both dealt pretty good damage all around, though I might have gone with Daegre had MM not force fed him a couple mouthfuls of Vulcan Cannon.
