Burning Solranous lunged into the sky and over the beam. As it turns out, his wounds were not cauterized like Gigoramis had been expecting, for Burning Solranous' body had built up a high tolerance to heat: one that would not be overcome so easily. The fiery dragon soared above Gigoramis and came crashing down with enough force to surpass a meteor impact by suplementing gravity's pull with his telekinesis.
Solranous landed a massive kick on Gigoramis' skull forcing its head downward so fast that the emerald dragon wondered how its neck didn't snap for a brief second. It also had the effect of sending the demon down face first and making an indentation in the ground in the shape of his head.
Taking advantage of Gigoramis' temporary immobility, Solranous conjured another Solar Spear and jabbed it into Gigoramis' back, which in turn caused the by now boring-and-repetative explosion. The fiery dragon followed the spear up with another burst of his breath weapon, further damaging its back.
Finally, Solranous reeled his fist back again, planning on driving Gigoramis' head further into the ground. ---------------------------------------------------------
Shive, I know this is brutal, but be thankful I didn't fly into a full swing destructive rampage from the word go.

Gigoramis's eyes opened to see the fist about to smash into his face. He grabbed the fist with his claw and kicked Solranous away with both feet. As the emerald dragon attempted to rise, the cosmic fiend jumped to his feet and fired off another Plasma Beam directly below Solranous's stomach, the explosion causing the dragon to fly into the air.
As the living inferno reached the apex of his rise, Gigoramis screamed upwards and slammed both claws into the dragon's head, sending him back towards the ground. Solranous's impact sent a large spray of dust and debris into the air, gaining a moan of agony from the scaled behemoth.
Good. Now I end this. The demon thought.
He crouched momentarily, then rocketed into the air as his Plasma Beam began charging. He stopped at approx. 300 meters into the air, and fired off several of the blasts towards his (hopefully) downed foe.
Hit him, damn it! He mentally screamed.

Damn, Burning Solranous thought, He recovered too quickly. Guess now is the best time to use this again. The fiery dragoncupped his hands, building up power for his ultimate attack once more. The Plasma Beams were coming in fast, but Gigoramis realized that the sun was shining even more brightly then it had for the entire match.
"Time for full power, Solar Oblivion!" Solranous called out, launching the destructive beam at the air borne Gigoramis. The massive solar beam crashed into one Plasma beam without even slowing down, another slowed it by a few miles per hour while a third slowed it down even more. Another three beams crashed into it, but not even their combined strength could stop the Solar Oblivion attack.
Gigoramis panicked as he he saw not only the Solar Obilivion, but also his own beams come right at him. The attack struck home in a massive display of fiery, raw power. Solranous used the short down time to stand back up. Gigoramis wasn't dead yet, so he couldn't let down his guard. Said cosmic beast fell from the smoke and regained stable flight after the short drop. He was clearly battered by the attack, but Burning Solranous wasn't done with him yet.
The fiery dragon flew up to meet Gigoramis in mid air before landing a hammer punch, sending the demon down to earth. Solranous swooped down after him in a full force body slam, making a crater where they landed, with Gigoramis taking most of the impact.
Quickly pulling back, Solranous launched his breath weapon at his foe...

Gigoramis snaked off to the left, dodging the flames, and slammed his foot into the side of Solranous's knee, making him stumble forward. Before he could land, he slammed his knee into the dragon's chin, causing a crunching sound to echo through the area. Gigoramis let out a satisfied snarl as he grabbed the living inferno by his horns and slammed his skull into Solranous's.
He dropped the dragon and took to the air as his chest began to open, revealing a crater-like indent in his chest. At the base of the 'hole' was a hemisphere-like pulsing/glowing organ. uddenly, the 'crater' began to glow with a light-blue energy, the entire hole filling with azure ambiance.
This ends now. Gigoramis snarled.
Loose debris, dust, dirt, and anything else small enough began to suck into the hole itself, fueling the glow. Even the light itself had dimmed around Gigoramis in order to fuel this massive attack. Gigoramis's red eyes narrowed in contempt as he threw his arms to the side, letting out a massive howl.
Then, the energy exploded out of the fiend's chest, pushing the demon back about 50 meters through the air. The light-blue beam was approx. 100 meters in diameter, and approaching Solranous extremely fast. Gigoramis just hoped this attack would hit; otherwise, he'd be in a s***load of trouble.

The Havoc Wave struck home, causing a massive explosion. Gigoramis was completely sure that he had finally killed the living inferno...
Until he saw a shape standing within the smoke cloud, resembling that of Burning Solranous.
Impossible... Gigoramis thought. Solranous had survived the full force Havoc Wave and was still standing, albeit obviously damaged. Most of the emerald dragon's scales were charred black or completely burned off, but the energy veins were still visible. Burning Solranous grunted a bit before taunting, "Is that the best you've got!? I've survived much worse before and still came back for more!"
Not waiting for a reply, Solranous became air borne again. The emerald dragon shot forth, slamming a Solar Spear into the cosmic fiend's still exposed chest, most likely causing internal damage. Solranous reeled his fist back and slammed it into Gigoramis' face, sending the beast reeling back.
Burning Solranous' back spines glowed, firing off multiple Hyper Homing Fireballs again. Each detonated on Gigoramis' chitin, causing more damage to the beast. Finally, Solranous powered up his breath weapon, hoping to further damage the disoriented demon. -------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not joking about what Burning Solranous said, he survived getting slammed into the ground at speeds exceeding Mach 10 and was immediately exposed to the focused explosive force of a beam utilising the strength of the atomic bomb.

Gigoramis screamed in agony as he coughed up blood, only to receive a stream of atomic fire to the face. Pieces of shattered chitin fell off of his frame, exposing thick, bloodied, sandpaper-like flesh. The cosmic beast screamed in rage as he charged another Plasma Beam, launching it directly into Solranous's face.
He then grabbed the dragon by the face, and, energizing his claws, stabbed the sharp digits into the dragon's face. Gigoramis let out another furious scream as he spun around and hurled Solranous, watching him slam into a building, causing it to collapse on the dragon. Gigoramis then fired off another volley of Plasma Beams, three of the five hitting the dragon.
Gigoramis landed and rushed towards the downed dragon, hoping to shove his claws through the dragon's face...
