Neo-SpaceGodzilla - tkarena.proboards81.com/index.cgi?board=stats&action=display&thread=1168715685vs. Thunder - tkarena.proboards81.com/index.cgi?board=stats&action=display&thread=1169953144Arena: Mt. Fuji Rules: None ------- Whom ever wins the match, they're gonna' be in some major pain from the loser. Both are extremely powerful kaiju in their given right, and I see a winner going on depending how the fight goes. NSG clearly has the distance advantage, his corona beams are a bit more lethal then the thunder beam and lightning bolts Thunder possesses, but Thunder easily has the brute strength and hand-to-hand strategies here. If NSG spams his beams, and no doubt, he probably will, he'll win. If Thunder makes in close, and manages to do some nasty things with NSG's face and body, he could very well snap some vital bones and nerves. Throw me in for an abstain.

Thunder is utterly helpless against NSG at long range, between his shield and plasma absorbtion. At close range, yes, Thunder most certainly has the advantage. Of course, the problem is getting near NSG, and staying there long enough to deal any significant damage. Thunder will almost certainly get in close to NSG once, because NSG will allow it to happen. He's cocky like that. But once Thunder lands a few blows on him, he'll toss Thunder away and keep him at bay, where he can pick the chimera apart with little difficulty.
So yeah, NSG FTW.

So, judging by the creator's of these kaiju, it basically comes down to whether or not Thunder can get into melee? Hmm. Thing is, Thunder does have some decent tricks up his sleeve, including flight, incredible jumping, and some sort of camouflage. If any of these throw NSG off guard for a second, then Thunder can get right up in his face and cause some hurt. However, NSG's got telekinesis...but Thunder's taken some pretty good hurt, too. Took one of Goro's kangaroo kicks and kept on chugging...I'm going with Thunder, in a close match. NSG's got the ranged advantage, but there haven't been too many times in kaiju films when beams alone won the battle swiftly.
Once again, I have created neither of these kaiju, so feel free to pick apart my argument...

Problem with that being NSG's mind-reading makes it essentially impossible to catch him off-guard... The whole thing with NSG not allowing Thunder to stay close long enough to do any real damage doesn't hurt, either.

If the smelly acid spit comes into play, be it he allows Thunder to stay or not, he's gonna' be feeling some pain thanks to being distracted by that alone.

NSG will either just burn it off with his energy surge, or throw it back in Thunder's face with his telekinesis. It won't distract him for more than a moment.

Burning the liquid, or getting it off his body, is not what NSG would have to worry about, it'd be blocking out the smell itself. The acid isn't what does the distracting, its the smell. It stinks, badly. It's hard to fight when you're gagging..

Very much so, because it isn't listed in his bio, and such a thing, for this RPG, should be, because it'd make him immune to poison gases.
