As the people of Japan swarmed on the country side around the volcano, watching on as fire and smoke flew into the air, a sickening cry came forth. Awakened to once again try and take the world for himself, the good-gone-bad Earth Guardian's eyes opened and his maw parted. The bubbling lava parted like water as it rose up, walking up the side of the crater and blasting the watching humans with his Hell's Fire.

As the lava boiled, another monster stirred. Valcanus swam beneath the magma, interested. He surfaced, lifting his head up from the lava and looking around, his eyes burning like fireballs. The air was tense... something was about to happen, and it wasn't just the eruption...

The ground rumbled and fractured all around the volcanic crater as the two lava titans emerged to do battle. But they were not alone. A rumbling roar, sounding like the clashing of rocks deep beneath the surface, pierced the sky. From the depths of the volcanic crater, Magmire emerged from the place of his birth. His home was being invaded, and the normally docile lava beast would not stand for this. Plumes of lava erupted all around him as he thundered into the arena, ready to kick all kinds of ass...

Felsic shouted in rage and slammed his magma tail on the ground and charged forward. Valcanus stood tall, lava dripping from his maw, but soon a roar escaped his mouth as Felsic speared him back, the two kaiju falling into the black smoke. Felsic snarled, gripping the head of Valcanus, and as the two fell, began to beat it on the side of the crater.
Felsic bellowed and roared as the two splashed into the magma, but the demonic guardian wasn't through yet. He sped through the magma like a fish through water, and began to make fire rain into the volcano.

Valcanus lifted himself in a splash of magma and bellowed defiantly as fire rained from the sky. The flames lapped against Valcanus' hide harmless, his own fiery hide merely absorbing the heat. Deciding to ignore the second combatant, at least for the moment, Valcanus plunged into the lava after Felsic. Rocketing forward like a crocodile through water, Valcanus quickly caught up with Felsic and slammed into him. Valcanus grabbed the black "skinned" kaiju by the back of the neck, digging his claws in, rock piercing rock. Valcanus heaved Felsic violently upwards, through the hardened surface, and threw him skyward. As Felsic plummeted to the earth, Valcanus released his heat beam. The beam collided with Felsic in mid air, the heat doing nothing, the force throwing him aside and crashing into the side of the volcano's inner wall. Rock crumbled to the thin ground below as Felsic slumped down. Valcanus hissed, steam pouring from his dorsal vents.

Magmire watches all this in interest, and uses the opportunity to gauge the strength of his foes. Both appear to be highly resistant to the environment and the heat, so Magmire uses a different opening approach.
The earth shakes and rumbles as Magmire generates a powerful earthquake. The quake releases an avalanche of rocks and lava, which cover and bury Felsic, crushing the beast beneath so many tons of igneous rock. Felsic roars out as rocks bash him in the head and face, but cannot stop this veritabel onslaught. As the earth continues to move, Magmire targets Valcanus.
The beast looks so much like him, and yet...
Magmire's dorsal spines light up with stored thermal energy as he unleashes a volley of highly explosive fireballs at Valcanus...

The rocks that covered Felsic began to glow a bright red before a stream of Hell's Fire exploded into the air, the rocks literally melted and crushed by the perfect fire. Felsic's eyes opened up and began to glow as his body began to float into the air, the fire of the volcano dancing at his feet as he spun around to face Magmire. The fire guardian sneered and lifted his hand, catching the fireballs in mid-air and sending them directly back down Magmire's throat, the balls exploding and the throat of the molten fiend expanding out as a shower of lava and magma fell from his throat.
(force and explosiveness, not heat did that)
Magmire fell to the ground as the demon that is Felsic turned to face Valcanus. Still floating in the air, the good-gone-bad guardian lifted his hands, tentacles of fire wrapping around Valcanus and holding his legs.. while the demon began to spew Hell's Fire at the monster.

Valcanus bellowed, challenging the world. As the flames hit him, he absorbed them, sucking in the heat. Valcanus extended his right arm, lifting it high, and then clenched his fist. A geyser of lava exploded from beneath Felsic, rocketing straight up and hitting the monster from beneath, throwing him skyward. The flame tentacles around his legs now disapted, Valcanus turned towards Magmire and charged. Valcanus headbutted the fire monster in the chest, slamming into him with great force and knocking Magmire over onto his back. Valcanus roared and took a step back, knowing better than to stay nearby and expose himself to a rising attack.

Magmire thrashed in fury in the depths of the crater, spewing his heat beam all over the place. Valcanus, although able to absorb power from the weapon, could do nothing ot stop his own rocky exterior from melting under the temperatures that far exceeded that of any volcano.
As Valcanus retreated from the burning inferno that was Magmire, the volcanic beast of doom righted himself and sprayed the crater with highly explosive fireballs, aiming them in the general direction of the downed Felsic...

Felsic snarled and threw his hand up, the air around it warping as Magmire's powerful fire balls were flung down. The attacks smashed against the fire guardian's heat shield and exploded into a show of flames as Felsic stood up and floated into the air. The guardian seemed to be laughing, his echoing roar spreading across the area as his entire body began to glow.
Steam began to spew from his body and his black armor began to part. The area began to warp and the rocks on the ground began to turn to lava. Magmire screamed on the ground, yelling and shouting as the bubbling center of Felsic began to grow brighter and brighter.
Then it happened.
The beast's chest exploded like a volcano, spouts of fire and magma flying in every direction as a stream of lava and flames shot forward. The eruption blast smashed into Magmire's body, the beast's rocky skin being transformed into magma as its body was smashed into the rocky floor of the mountain. Those rocks also turned to lava as the beam continued to push Magmire down, the group turning into a sea of flames as the eruption blast began to slow its fire and eventually stop. An area, roughly half a mile in size, was reduced to a lake of magma that spewed black smoke and bubbled showers of lava, and somewhere beneath that.. incredibly damaged and wounded.. Magmire stirred.
Felsic snorted and turned to face Valcanus, the evil guardian smirked as he saw it starting to stand. Its chest closed and it floated down, lifting his clawed hands and preparing to slash away at his foe.

Valcanus watched the explosive attack, and was almost jealous.
Why couldn't he have gotten hit by that? So fiery... it looked rather enjoyable.
Valcanus advanced on Felsic, lava dripping from his maw. He reached out and grabbed Felsic's throat just below the jaw, pulled his face near, then slammed his horned head into him. Chunks of dark rock flew into the air, and Valcanus lowered down quickly, spinning. His tail swept under Felsic's feet, throwing the monster off balance and sending him plummeting to the ground.

Suddenly, the entire volcanic crater erupted in a display of pure elemental fury, unlike anything every witnessed since the birth of the planet. Magmire bellowed in fury, as the lava bathed his openents in superheated rock, slowly crushing them in a tidal wave of magma. The arena was his plaything, and with hsi geothermal control abilities, he would do with it as he pleased, even going so far as to rend the very earth asunder. More lava erupted from the crater, crushing both Felsic and Valncanus in its embrace. While the heat might not strong enough to effect either of them much, particularly Valcanus, the rock was tearing away at their bodies as it swirled around them in ceaseles turmoil.
Magmire, admist the lava storm of his own creation, marched up to Felsic, crystal blades glwoing in the light of the fires, and prepared to slash them across Felsic's face and throat. Each blade, harder and sharper than any diamond, would be able to easily cleave the rock-like armor of the evil guardian apart...
