At this point, his options were limited. But Riptide new that if the battle was to be won at all, he would have to make further sacrifices. Glorve doubtlessly felt the energy buildup beneath him as Riptide powered up his Super NOVA Cannon for one last shot. The beam of intense plasma energy erupted at point blank, shooting Glorve off him and away into the streets, where he splattered into a puddle of goo.
Bu the energy backwash was exceptionally damaging, and Riptide could almost feel his power leaving him. The Blob had caused too much damage, and Riptide was out of weapons to harm it. But if that was the case, then he would have to use the blob's own natural weakness against it.
Riptide latched onto the reforming Glorve and activated his Overboost engines. These would rapidly accelerate them boh into the outer atmosphere, and, if Riptide was lucky, space itself. There, the blob would freeze, and then be vulnerable to damage. But at 20,000 feet up, even with the atmosphere rapidly thinning, Glorve began to struggle. Now it was down to the final move. Would Glorve seize victory, or would he be crushed in defeat...

Well... that was one hell of a match...
But in the end, I have to give the win to Glorve. His ability to basically shrug off ridiculous amounts of damage makes him a beast.
So, with that... GLORVE! FINISH HIM!

One helluva match, OR. Be glad to face ya' again with Q'thulu against whomever. =========
As the two went upward, Riptide had made a fatal error. You see, unlike Glorve's 'father', The Blob, this new generation of biological weaponry didn't have any weakness to the cold to speak of. Instead, what ended up happening, is the blob's entire body began to cover Riptide. Its weakened, robotic body was starting to break down.
On the ground, surviving people screamed in terror as Riptide's leg fell from its body, crushing ruined homes beneath it. Then the jets fell, but they continued spinning upward before exploding. The remains of Riptide and Glorve began to descend, and the two fell for over a mile.
When they landed, it felt like an earthquake. Riptide's naked body shattered like glass, sending chunks of burned wire and inner-skeletal works flying in every direction. Glorve, that freakish, lethal, and glutinous kaiju stood up, not feeling a thing. This thing offered no food whats so ever, and now it was time to hunt, feed, and rebuild its body.

Well, i gave it my best shot. And a Glorve vs Magmire match would be exceptionally difficult to determine a winner with, since both of them are so difficult to put down, feel no pain, etc.
