Name: Valus Height: 70m Mass: 40,000t Description: A bipedal minotaur, with stone armor covering most of its body save for the back of its left leg, hands, fore- and upper arms, upper back, front torso, and the back of its head. (Note: I apologize if I can't find any good pictures of the other Colossi, or if this one isn't as good as could be...they seem to be quite scarce, and I haven't the means to take good screenshots myself.) - Attacks - Club: Valus carries a short stone/metal club as a weapon. It may not look like much, but it's hard and heavy enough to give whatever it hits a bad day. It was constructed with great care to the fact that Valus would continually swing the weapon with all its considerable strength, and so it will not break under even the most severe stress. - Powers - Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Valus' armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. Light of Heaven: Through their connection with the ancient god known as Dormin, the Colossi have a limited ability to manipulate light, and the sky from which it comes. They can focus and channel a brilliant beam of sunlight - parting the clouds if necessary - to blind opponents; or summon mystical storm clouds to completely smother the sky. (Note: For use in the Arena, Valus and the other Colossi's weak spots, or "vitals" in the game, are nullified. They'll have no particular weak spots, but on the same token they are no longer invincible against anything and everything else; and even their armor can be ruined if it takes enough punishment.) --- Please tell me if this doesn't comply with the regulations before I continue.

Good. --- Name: Quadratus Height: 60m Length: 70m Mass: 45,000t Description: Basically, a massive bull. Its face and hooves are fairly armored, and a ridgy spine with a series of "ribs" runs down its back...however, the undersides of its feet are rather sensitive; attacking them will cause the affected limb to cramp up, likely causing him to stumble or fall over. - Attacks - Quadratus has no outstanding attacks or weapons, though it is a bit more mobile than the likes of Valus. - Powers - Light of Heaven: Through their connection with the ancient god known as Dormin, the Colossi have a limited ability to manipulate light, and the sky from which it comes. They can focus and channel a brilliant beam of sunlight - parting the clouds if necessary - to blind opponents; or summon mystical storm clouds to completely smother the sky.

Name: Gaius Height: 80m Mass: 50,000t Description: A tall, vaguely humanoid monster. Its entire lower body is armored, as are most of its arms, its chest, its neck, and of course its face(all of the Colossi wear some type of mask). Only its stomach and back are fully exposed. Like Quadratus, Gaius' balance is somewhat of a weakness that can be exploited: his feet are round, almost spherical in shape, and so his upper body's armor is especially thick and heavy to give him extra traction. On the down side, of course, this makes him slower and more cumbersome; and a sufficiently strong enemy can easily disrupt his balance just by pushing him. - Attacks - Stone Sword: Though hardly fashioned in the likeness of any real blade, Gaius' entire right hand is a long thick rod of weathered stone, giving the Colossus a fair reach advantage against melee combatants, and an extra piece of armor against projectile weapons. It was constructed with great care to the fact that Gaius would continually swing the hefty weapon with all its considerable strength, and so it will not break under even the most severe stress. - Powers - Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Gaius' armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. As mentioned, Gaius' upper armor is slightly thicker and stronger than the average Colossus' armor, giving him traction when moving and affording him better protection.

Take note, I have updated my last few characters with a new ability: again, please let me know if the rules won't permit it.(I see that the Colossi are rather...bland, compared to most other creatures here, and I'm just trying to spice them up a bit.) --- Name: Phaedra Height: 60m Length: 70m Mass: 40,000t Description: Basically, a massive horse. Its legs each end in thin, long spindles instead of hooves, and a pair of tassels dangle from the sides of its face. Its armor isn't particularly thick or heavy, but it is still well-protected: the only unarmored portions of it are its back, from the shoulders to the rump, and the back of its neck and head. - Attacks - Kicks: Not that Phaedra's legs are especially powerful(at least by the standards of most creatures its size), but with its legs ending in long thin spindles as well as being covered in hard and tough armor, its kicks can really hurt if they land just right. - Powers - Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Phaedra's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks.

Name: Avion Length/Wingspan: 75m Mass: 20,000t Description: Basically, a massive hawk. Pretty much all of it is armored with the exception of the shoulders and back(all the way down the length of its tail), and a patch near the end of each wing. - Attacks - Avion has no outstanding attacks or weaponry, though it is extraordinarily swift and agile compared to most of the Colossi. - Powers - Flight: Even enclosed in tough stone armor, Avion can fly through the sky at considerable speeds; and the armor itself can give a nasty edge to its swooping attacks. Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Avion's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. Light of Heaven: Through their connection with the ancient god known as Dormin, the Colossi have a limited ability to manipulate light, and the sky from which it comes. Uh...that's not exactly what I meant. I was asking if the new ability I've given my characters is permitted within the rules or not; it's not really of much tactical use, more for show than anything - but it is controlling weather to a limited extent.

MM's Scutes is capable of creating massive thunderstorms and tornados at will. A little sunshine is nothing big.

'Ke-dokey. I apologize, but I simply could not find a good pic of this next one anywhere...
---
Name: Barba
Height: 70m Mass: 40,000t
Description: Essentially the same creature as Valus, with a few differences: his back does not hold a brace with a series of platforms on it, and he carries no weapon of any sort. He also has a beard.
- Attacks -
Barba has no outstanding attacks or weaponry, only its own capacity for hand-to-hand combat.
- Powers -
Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Barba's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat.
Light of Heaven: Through their connection with the ancient god known as Dormin, the Colossi have a limited ability to manipulate light, and the sky from which it comes. This next one was fun for me to tweak up.....sorry for the crappy picture quality, but he does spend all his time under the water. --- Name: Hydrus Length: 130m(this might not be proportionate with the others, but hell, I can really only guess with any of 'em) Mass: 50,000t Description: Basically, a massive eel. At three points upon its body, spaced evenly from near the tip of its head to just past the middle of its body, are three sharp spines that serve as its electrical conductors...and also as defense or melee weapons in a pinch. Nearly all of its back is unarmored, from near the tip of its tail all the way down to the top of its head...but, of course, it compensates for that with its electrocuting spines. And being an eel, as one can guess, its mobility is notably hampered on land, being forced to hump along in short segment-by-segment hops, somewhat like a caterpillar. It does have the dexterity to rear up upon its tail, though, and even jump for short lengths, but not much beyond that. It's an aquatic Colossus first and foremost. - Attacks - Electric Surge: Hydrus can surge any one of his spines with up to 5 megavolts of juice at any one time...or, at the expense of proportionately decreased output, surge two or all three spines simultaneously. Electric Strike: Hydrus can build up a charge in one of his spines, and then unleash a devastating long-range blast of electricity. It takes a moment to charge up, but its power is nothing to scoff at, slightly less than a shot of one of Grand Ghidorah's mouth bolts*. Triad Thunder: This move takes a good moment to charge up, and Hydrus must be close to his enemy for it to work; but when executed properly, it can unleash power near equal to Super MechaGodzilla's plasma grenade on the luckless victim. What Hydrus must do is curl his upper body backward until the tips of each of his spines are nearly in contact, and begin surging power. The attraction between the separate charging sources will draw and coalesce the energy in the middle of the spines - and, so long as it doesn't exceed critical mass(otherwise the energy will overflow, backsurge and fry Hydrus himself), the power will remain focused there... ...until Hydrus suddenly uncurls his body, and the thrice-as-strong bolt is unleashed upon the nearest viable target. It is quite the risky move, but can easily turn the tide(pardon the pun) of a battle gone sour. - Powers - Electric Control: Hydrus is capable of controlling, to an extent, the electricity generated and unleashed from his spines. He can contain his basic surge within a mystical field with a radius of about twenty meters, and choose the general direction in which to fire off a lightning bolt, as well as contain a bolt fired underwater so that only its target is afflicted. Unfortunately, the Triad Thunder's power is too great to be contained by this magic field...which consecutively means that the attack can only be used out of the water, lest Hydrus cook himself and everything else. Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Hydrus' armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. And as a side note, Hydrus must be quite careful in summoning foul weather, as his..."unique" electrical properties can make him quite the inviting target for the gods of thunder and lightning; and he himself is not immune to the power he wields. --- * - Please let me know if this comparison is a bit overpowered; I must confess to not having seen the sort of damage Grand Ghidorah can do.(I only ever saw his fight with Armor Mothra, and of course that's hardly fair to judge by.)

Name: Kuromori Length: 60m Mass: 30,000t Description: A vaguely lizard-like creature with a broad tail. Most of its underbelly is unarmored, and its leg joints are sensitive; if Kuromori is clinging to a wall or ceiling, attacking two or more of its legs will cause it to lose its grip and fall...usually ending up on its back. - Attacks - Fire Burst: Kuromori's armor is enchanted(you can see the dorsal plates of his armor glowing), capable of drawing in and igniting air, then compressing and unleashing it in up to three explosive bursts at a time. The explosion isn't especially destructive, but when the blasts strike, they disperse in a cloud of fumes that is toxic to most living creatures...though it would take prolonged periods of exposure to have any serious effect on monsters the size of Kuromori or bigger. Gas Cloud: The poisonous volatile compound produced in Kuromori's armor can also be released in a cloud all around him, as a defensive maneuver to fend off creatures that get too close for comfort. Even Colossus-size creatures will find the gas noxious and quite irritating. As an additional nasty surprise, Kuromori can vent a cloud of the gas, then move away and ignite it with a fireball or other source of ignition, pretty well roasting anything luckless enough to get caught in the blast. - Powers - Wall-Crawling: Kuromori's legs secrete a potent sticky substance through his feet, enabling him to scale walls and even cling to ceilings. As mentioned, however, the legs themselves are sensitive, and attacking one of them will cause his foot to cramp up and lose its hold. With two or more disabled, his weight will become too great to hold up, and he'll most likely fall. Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Kuromori's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks.

Name: Basaran Height: 60m Length: 70m Mass: 55,000t Description: Basically, a massive tortoise. As one might expect, this behemoth is very heavily armored: its underbelly and the crown of its head are the only exposed portions. - Attacks - Electric Bursts: Basaran can fire up to a volley of four electrical bursts from his mouth. They don't release gas or have any other side effect, like Kuromori, but their range is considerable. - Powers - Strength: Basaran's armor is quite heavy and cumbersome...so he must be quite strong and powerful to carry it with him. His ability in melee combat is limited, but his legs are powerful enough to shake the earth when he rears up and comes back down...to say nothing of what would happen should he try stomping an enemy with them. He is even capable of rolling himself back over, should he be upended by a clever or particularly powerful foe... Gripping Feet: ...But even that will prove difficult. Not only does Basaran's weight give him firm footing, but his hooves themselves are capable of tightly gripping the ground...or a luckless enemy, or anything else. Though his mass is too great for him to easily scale walls and the like as Kuromori does, it makes his balance remarkably difficult to upset... ...Unless you manage to lift him up enough that the joints of his hooves are pulled open, and then attack the sensitive joints themselves. Then he's yours to flip over and have at his exposed belly. Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Basaran's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. Like with Gaius, Basaran's armor is extra-heavy and extra-strong compared to most other Colossi. What do you expect; he's a freaking uber-turtle.

Name: Dirge Length: 90m Mass: 35,000t Description: Basically, it's a shorter and broader version of Hydrus with no electrical spines, that moves through the earth even more easily than Hydrus does the water.(Think an uber-Graboid, with an armored head and underside and with no extending tongue.) Most of its back is unarmored, but other than that, no particularly noteworthy characteristics... ...Oh, yeah: Its eyes are particularly big and wide, and attacking them will momentarily blind it. - Attacks - Dirge has no outstanding attacks or weaponry, though it is surprisingly fast and maneuverable, and can move about in the water just as well as the land. - Powers - Burrowing: Dirge can tunnel through solid rock and earth at surprising speed for a creature of his size...hello surprise attacks and quick escapes. Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Dirge's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks.

Name: Celosia Height: 10m Length: 12m Mass: 5000t Description: Another quadrupedal beast, like Quadratus or Phaedra, except...well, I really have no idea exactly what animal it's supposed to take after. It has claws in place of hooves, a pair of tusks protrude from its mask, and nearly all of its body is armored save for a select few exposed joints in the front(around the neck and shoulders). - Attacks - Celosia has no outstanding attacks or weapons, though its smaller size makes it considerably faster and a more difficult target than most of the other Colossi. - Powers - Armor: Not really a 'power' per se, but Celosia's armor is extremely strong and durable, resistant to all but the most devastating attacks. It affords ample protection and can add to the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. ...But the mass of Celosia's armor, in accord with Celosia itself, is considerably less than that of the bigger Colossi, thus the armor can be more easily damaged. Finally, a side note: Celosia, and Cenobia(to be added later), are not meant to be scaled to the size of the rest of the Colossi or other similar-size creatures; so I ask that their size not exceed 1/4th of their opponent's in matches where they must be sized up. If this is in defiance of the rules...well, then I suppose I'll have to remove them from my roster, otherwise they'll basically just be clones of Quadratus.
