Unfortunately, his assault is cut short by the timely assault of Jericho's Stonehenge Cannons. Four simultaneous rounds smash into the berserkering cyborg, the shells piercing armor and flesh alike and the explosion ripping it all apart. Unit-007 is throw back several hundreds meters, tearing a bloody trench through the landscape in the process before smashing into Scorpius, as Jericho's cannons dock to reload.
While he waits for Igerus to rise, he makes a move that took him this long to simply be able to execute. Scoprius and Unit-007 are no match for what follows. The clouds overhead swirl in a surging vortex as a powerful light pierces the heavens, ready to lance into Scorpius and Eva and destroy everythign around them in one fell stroke...
(if you're wondering, I used his satelleite strike)

Scorps is sooooo outgunned in this match...
----------
Unlike most other times a projectile had been fired at him in this battle, Scorpius actually has a chance to react this time due to the immense distance the beam needs to travel coupled with its rather conspicuous approach. He doesn't know what it is, but it can't be good. He grabs Unit-007 by the ankle and flings it as far as he can, hoping that the damage from the landing will be less than a direct hit from whatever the hell is coming from above. He then runs a couple hundred meters from where he was standing before burrowing into the ground as fast as he can. Of course, he doesn't get very far, having taken that extra precious second to save his ally, but he manages to get his entire body underground an instant before the beam hits.
There is much explosiony-ness, and Scorpius is mostly uncovered by the blast, but his makeshift burrow still helps protect him a bit. When it's all over, Scorpius gets out of what's left of his burrow and shakes the dirt off his smoking exoskeleton. With a roar, he charges across the smouldering crater toward Jericho. Once again, he thrusts his stinger into the hole on the mech's chest. Unlike before, he isn't interrupted and succeeds in spraying acid directly into Jericho's body.
The machine studders and jerks as the acid does its work. Scorpius then decides he might as well try to spray Jericho in the face with acid again.

Igerus was out of range of the strike, and as such, was relatively unaffected by the large beam from the "heavens." As such, as soon as Scorpius charged his ally, he quickly took off from the ground, and soared next to his ally. He could not stop the firts strike, but as the large scorpion attempted to unleash it's acid a second time, Igerus' claws enclosed around the beasts tail.
And then, it flew the other direction, causing the insect's acid to miss it's mark, flying through the air pointlessly. Igerus dragged the beast by the tail, giving it probably the worst care of rug, or in this case stone, burn of it's life. And then, as it approached the Eva Unit, it swung it around, smashing into the mechanoid and sending them both onto the ground, whether the Eva had got up by this point or not.
Igerus then flew back in the air, unleashing another pair of jet black fireballs at the fallen duo.

Gendo jerks in the plug, having fallen out of the seat more by his own irritated fervor of being hocked all around the place while in Berserker Mode and being unable to reach either Igerus or Jericho, and even now struggles for the controls, still frothing a tad bit at the mouth and red eyed, hair even crazier than normal, wondering where the hell he is. It's tempting to succumb to the insanity of Berserker again, but he knows he's done for in this case. The Stonehenge cannons don't have much of a target left in the slender machine, having made so many craters in it that it's barely left, and while Scorpius's efforts were valiant enough, it honestly lacked the backup weaponry of the other foes.
But hell, if he couldn't damn win this fight, looking like the sh*t hole he was right now, he might as well do as much damage as he could on the way out. Beneath Scorpius, Evangelion Unit-007, with what control she has herself, kicks out with her legs, straightening them up, and shoving Scorpius about a hundred or so meters into the air and out of the way, her return for the assistance from the Satellite Strike. The arachnid is still feet down, and he'll land upright with the natural flexibility of most insects, anyway. The Eva stands up, looking Igerus in the eye, and as she does so, Gendo hits a button, extending the massive positron rifle out to the full length, holding before the damaged frame like a shield. The fireballs burst out on the heavily-armored, wired weapon as Igerus starts to continue away from its flyback.
It never makes it. The Evangelion Unit's eyes begin to glow, and Igerus freezes in a white glow, before slowly being reeled back in...slowly...slowly...and finally ending up in Unit-007's grasp. "Perfect."
Igerus has no time to move. The Eva falls straight on her back, rams the modified Positron point-blank at the base of one of Igerus's talons, aimed at an angle up through its body, and just fires the damn thing, clenching her armored fingers around the trigger and ripping back hard. There's no room to evade, and the bluish spear of light lets out a whistling sound, the glowing blue segments of charge on the side of the gun emptying out one by one. The beam rips a fully cauterized hole, about ten to fifteen meters in diameter, through the center of Igerus's feet, up through its legs, through its chest and innards, and out at the joint between both heads, skinning the leftmost one. The wounds don't stay cauterized for long, as a long chain of furious, kaiju-size detonations follow the path of the beam through Igerus, literally blowing it apart from the inside. They rip through the leg, skinning it and spraying gore outwards, and cut a diagonal swath of bloody fervor through its chest, blasting and showering all. The large, deep red valley covers nearly the length of the torso itself, deepest through the middle, and where it exited between the heads, the powerful boom had jostled both wounded necks so throughly that the many gashes had reopened.
The Eva flips over and shoves Igerus aside, where it topples and falls. An organic target, feeling pain, might just be more susceptible to Scorpius, if he could just reach it. A giant mech...not so much. Unit-007 and her pilot, as one, turn to face Jericho, readying for more shells of doom. Regardless, she had more capabilities of damaging the machine, and she was now willing to take the hits for the comparatively unscathed multi-legged ally in this manner. That being done, she lowers the mammoth machine gun as well and opens fire on Jericho's badly damaged chest, hoping to punch it apart.

Jericho simply rotates his torso, as the shells slam into the less damaged sections of his backside. His armor withstands the assault with relative ease. it's good to be flexible.
Instead of just rotating forward again, Jericho docks his cannons and drops his flails, before spinning, slowly at first, but with increasing speed, quickly turning himself into a giant top of doom. The flails erupt with a covering of plasma spike,s which rip and shred into Eva's biomech body, cauterizing wounds, but still tearing the cyborg apart. Once, twice, three times Eva takes a hit before the sheer force of the blows sends her flying.
With that, Jericho turns towards Scorpius, tilitng ever so slightly, his flails now tearing furrows in the ground as advances on the arthropod...

And the winners are...
OR and Necro.
Hyper and IR pulled off some good attacked, but Scorps was easily the weakest link in this match.
OR and Necro move up to Round 2.
