But the slashing blades did little damage, as Riptide's NXT outer sheath severely reduced the damage he sustained from slashing attacks.

But now that Venzilla was in close rage, Riptide prepared to unleash his attack. Twin puffs of smoke signaled the launch of the Electroshock anchors, as a pair of harpoons buried themselves in Venzilla's gut. 1.5 million volts of electricity were pumped along the cables, something neither Venzilla, nor hsi symbiote, seemed to enjoy, as they both shrieked in pain and writhed in agony.

Riptide retracted the cables, leaving the smoking form of Venzilla at his feet. Twin blades of green plasma energy sprang from between the blades on his wrist units, as he lunged at Venzilla's chest...

Venzilla saw Riptide coming at him with his Plasma Cutters, and Venzilla rolled his body out of the way. Riptide’s Plasma Cutters missed Venzilla and speared through the ground.

Venzilla used his tail and rammed it into Riptide’s mouth. Then Venzilla’s body is sending a surge of blue energy. Venzilla is going to use his Nuclear Pulse. Then Venzilla unleashed a huge surge of radioactive energy from his body, and the energy from his tail went into Riptide’s mouth, then the energy blew Riptide away. Then Riptide landed on his head, and then fell on his chest.

Venzilla turned his arms back to normal, and walked to Riptide. Venzilla put his hands together over his head, and was going to ram them onto Riptide’s head.

But Riptide lunged forward, stabbing the Plasma Cutters deep into Venzilla's gut. The symbiotic organism roared in agony as Riptide withdrew and stabbed, withdrew and stabbed, until Venzilla had a dozen or more smoking blade wounds in hsi gut.

Riptide kicked Venzilla off as he righted himself, before firing his ANECs at Venzilla...

Venzilla is still holding up from Riptide’s attacks. Venzilla saw the beams coming at him, and used his cloak, to make himself invisible. Then Venzilla moved his body away, and the beams missed him and hit the ground making an explosion. Riptide was shocked. To him, Venzilla had just disappeared. Riptide looked all around to find Venzilla.

Venzilla is now behind Riptide, and he grabbed Riptide’s tail, with his hands. Riptide turned his head to see what had grabbed his tail, but saw nothing. Then Venzilla began to spin Riptide around by his tail. After a few minutes, Venzilla let go of Riptide’s tail, sending Riptide flying. Then Riptide hit the ground, sliding on his front, until he came to an abrupt stop.

Riptide got up and looked to see what had just attacked him. Venzilla, who was still invisible was now behind Riptide, and was going to use his right foot to kick Riptide in the back.

Fortunately, invisible or not, Riptide's sensors could still pick him up, and he had enough of his wits about him to roll aside and lash out with the Plasma Cutter, slicing deeply into Venzilla's calf. The alien hybrid buckled and decloaked from the pain, as Riptide righted himself, and fired the Electroshock Anchors at near point blank, right at Venzilla's thighs...

The Electroshock Anchors hit Venzilla's thighs and Venzilla yelled in pain. But before Riptide could charge the Electroshock Anchors, Venzilla pulled them out of his thighs. Then Venzilla swung the Electroshock Anchors, pulling Riptide along. Venzilla swung Riptide over him, and Riptide crashed onto the ground. But Venzilla wasn’t done yet. Venzilla was making Riptide’s body crash up and down all the place by still holding onto the Electroshock Anchors.

After that, Venzilla tied up the Electroshock Anchors together and threw them down to the ground. Venzilla ‘turned his cloak off’ because it was no longer effective. Then Venzilla fired webbing from the back of his fists. Planning to use the Webbing to stick Riptide to the ground, because Riptide would be stuck and wouldn’t be able to get up.

Fortunately for Riptide, even that assault wsn't enough to effectively put him down. He raised his arms, the webbing splattering harmlessly across the energy shields, before the shields dissipated and the webbing dropped to the ground in a heap. Also, fortunately, Venzilla didn't do a good job of tying the anchors together, as a rapid recall caused them to unwind on their won before re-docking.

Riptide roared at Venzilla, as blades of green plasma energy erupted from his wrist units. Riptide rushed Venzilla, slicing flesh and symbiote apart like there was no tomorrow. Venzilla screamed in agony as Riptide cut across hsi belly one way, then down his shoulder the other way, before finally kicking him back with one powerful foot.

Venzilla staggered back, clutching the smoking blade wounds on his chest, as Riptide closed in again for more of them same...

But before Riptide could use his Plasma Cutters on Venzilla again, tentacles appeared from Venzilla’s body. Two sets of four tentacles appeared from each of Venzilla’s shoulders. Two sets of three tentacles appeared from each of Venzilla’s legs. Then eleven tentacles appeared from Venzilla’s chest and stomach. Two sets of four tentacles wrapped around each of Riptide’s arms. Two sets of three more tentacles wrapped around each of Riptide’s legs. Then three tentacles wrapped around Riptide’s neck, two sets of three tentacles wrapped around each of the cannons, and then two tentacles wrapped around Riptide’s mouth, closing his jaws together. The tentacles had stopped Riptide from attacking Venzilla again, and they held Riptide up.

Then Venzilla smiled evilly at Riptide. Venzilla made the tentacles crashing Riptide’s body up and down all over the place.

After that, Venzilla held Riptide up with his tentacles still holding onto Riptide. Venzilla’s body was sending a surge of blue energy. Venzilla was going to use his Nuclear Pulse again.

The nuclear energy washed harmlessly over Riptide's body as the NXT layer easily absorbed it, coverting it into more power for the machine. Riptide's eyes flashed briefly as hsi engines engaged, proppelling both himself and Venzilla skyward, before Riptide rapidly spun, slinging Venzilla away into the air. As the symbiotic organism kept going, Riptide trained both his ANECs and the Super NOVA on his target, as eight missile ports opened up from around his chest.

A builing hum gathered, as energy focused in the barrels of the cannons. With a thunderous roar, a trio of energy beam lanced forward and struck Venzilla in mid-air, as dozens of missiles exploded across his body, compounding the damage. Venzilla smashed into the ground, as the energy washed over him, before exploding, leaving Venzilla's smoking form at the bottom of the crater.

Riptide didn't land though. He trained his Super NOVA on Venzilla again and began to charge it, preparing to fire a fully charged blast...

Venzilla was still holding on from Riptide’s attacks. Venzilla saw the Super NOVA coming down at him. So Venzilla opened his mouth and fired his Atomic Ray up at the Super NOVA. Soon, both the Atomic Ray and the Super NOVA hit each other, and the beams were trying to push each other.

As Venzilla kept on firing his Atomic Ray, the tentacles went back into his body, and then he turned his arms into long bat-like wings. Venzilla flew up at Riptide, still firing his Atomic Ray. As Venzilla was flying towards Riptide, the Atomic Ray was pushing the Super NOVA back towards Riptide. As the Atomic Ray pushed the Super NOVA back to Riptide’s mouth, it made an explosion, that forced Riptide to fall from the sky, and crash onto the ground, and land hard on his back. There were burn marks on Riptide’s mouth from the explosion.

Then Venzilla fired pieces of the Symbiote down at Riptide, to clog up his cannons, his mouth, and to cover his chest.

Fortunately, these were all small target's (relatively speaking), and Riptide had no trouble moving aside to fire again, this time with a Triple Strike. The trio of energy beams slammed into Venzilla's chest and exploded, buring flesh and symbiote as Venzilla plummeted from the sky.

Riptide didn't let him get back up though, and was on him in a flash, one hand planting Venzilla's face firmly to the side, as his knees pinned Venzilla's arms, and the other hand prepared to pummel Venzilla's throat with the Delta Blades...

But before Riptide could pummel Venzilla’s throat with the Delta Blades, Venzilla used his Nuclear Pulse, to unleash a huge surge of radioactive energy from his body that blew Riptide off of him. Then Riptide landed on his head, and then fell on his back.

Venzilla got up and turned his arms back to normal. Then Venzilla ran at Riptide. Riptide tried to get up, but Venzilla grabbed both of Riptide’s legs with his hands. Then Venzilla picked up Riptide’s body by holding his legs, and Venzilla was going to slam Riptide onto the ground real hard.

But Riptide's Electroshock Cables shot out from his wrists and impaled Venzilla's shoulders, before surging one million volts of electricity through them. Venzilla screeched in pain and dropped Riptide, who quickly disengaged and rolled away before standing upright.

As Venzilla was recovering, Riptide unleashed a barrage of missiles at Venzilla...

Venzilla saw the missiles coming at him, so he pointed his right arm at them, and fired a web. Then the webbing turned into a net and it captured all of the missiles. With the net part of the webbing, Venzilla swung the net, with the missiles stuck to it, at Riptide. The net hit Riptide and the missiles exploded on him.

After the smoke from the explosion cleared, there were burn marks on Riptide’s body. Then Venzilla ran at Riptide and grabbed both of Riptide’s jaws, pulling his mouth open. Venzilla was going to use his Atomic Ray, to fire it inside of Riptide’s mouth. He was going to do the same thing as Riptide had done to him earlier, and see if his Atomic Ray could do damage to Riptide from the inside.

Riptide had two options here, and neither one was particulalrly pleasant. Still, one at east allowed hi to severely damage his opponent as well. He had to act fast.

Riptide countered the atmoic ray with his Super NOVA at point blank, the two beams colliding before beign pushed back into Venzilla's mouth and exploding. Venzilla was blasted back, blood and smoke pouring form his mouth. Sparks flew from Riptide's facial armor as well, as several patches had been stripped clean off.

But Riptide recovered much faster than Venzilla, and prepared to stomp the fallen reptile's face into the dirt...
