Call me crazy, but Magmire strikes me as the better candidate here. A regenerating lava golem has considerably greater resistance to charged blade weapons and mini-particle beams than most. Even the BF doesn't seem especially well suited for this kind of enemy, seeing as how its blades are the pinnacle of its melee abilities.
Don't get me started on the Charged Particle Cannons. The moment the BF stand still long enough to bother with them, Magmire will be on top of it - quite literally. The BF's boosting ability is pretty, but I don't see it saving when it's buried 'alive'.

^If we're going to talk about Mags and the BF here, then it can be noted that the BF's speed could possibly be countered by fissures and such, which could slow it up while it's grounded...of course, if Mags doesn't pull that out of his lava-y butt fast enough, regen or no, BF could just run circles round him and tear him up with the claws. Magmire probably has too much mass for the Fuhrer's beams to do too much, but...

The length of this match will depend on whether the events of the KWND story are still applied. I'll hold off on posting my full thoughts until I find that out.

At any rate, this really could go either way. BF and Magmire have encountered each other before, but not fought. They know at least what the other can do.
That being said, Magmire's pretty damage resistant and won't stop burning the landscape to the ground until the BF can vape the core. The LPCs will help a lot, but the other CPC weapons are a non-issue, as the moment he stops to lock in and fire, Magmire dumps him under a few thousand tons of rock. The Buster Claws might suffer some damage if he attempts to melee Magmire, and Magmire can regenerate the worst of the damage in seconds.
I'm still on the fence though.

Now that I have time to vote..
Putting my money on BF. Yeah, Magmire's magma will come in handy here, and no doubt, at least one or both of the blades will be ruined.. But compare those things to Magmire's build.. and they will hit the core.
