Hmm... I'm going to give this to Gigan for one reason. Regeneration. Syintax can't regenerate in battle, Gigan can. Unless Syintax spams his more powerful attacks, Gigan can wether them and keep on trucking. That poison bite is null against Gigan.
Gigan FTW

Regeneration is going to be a pain in the arse for Syintax to get past. Still, though, I'm not very impressed with the overall durability of Gigan's armor. His nanobots can make shields, though I don't know why Syintax can't just smash through them. Frankly, the thing hefted Biollante with sheer muscle, he can pound Gigan around like a rag doll.
There's also the thing on Syintax called...armor? Gigan's blades are tough, but he's going to have a harder job than normal getting through flesh as hard as rock. I don't see much in the way of beams helping Syintax, 'specially cause Gigan's smart enough to get out of the way when he sees the big stuff coming, but...as stated, regen's the big thing here. Still, I lean towards Syintax getting pissed enough when its halfway to hell to pound Gigan's face in and trample him like a toddler in a sandbox. It won't do that with as much ease, as, say, breaking Gamera's back, which isn't much a feat seeing as how that shell is worth almost nothing, but...

Meh.. This is pretty close. As Hyper said, Gigan's armor isn't exactly the next big thing. While he can hold his own and kick royal ass, Syintax has that uber-strength. Lifting Biollante up is a real show, but it really depends on how sadistic Gigan becomes for this match..
If he pulls out the saw-whips, no armor in the world could save Syintax. If he charges ahead with scythes, swords, axes, drills, etc.. He might get taken down..
Abstain.

The saw-whips are another thing I didn't bring into account. Armor or no, as you said, it'll be like a lapidary taking saws to diamonds. Syintax won't get shredded at fast as others, but there will be shards of itflitting into the sky. However, once it finds it can't really move too much in its predicament, Syintax may get pissed enough to use its telekinesis, which gets Gigan into its grip...

Witch is where Gigan would likely just teleport out of the telekinetic grip.

I'm not sure if it still applies here, but in the FFKT, didn't Gigan teleport by moving his nanobots or something? If so, he's not exactly instantaneously disappearing and reappearing, just moving his body swiftly in smaller fragments. And if so, then couldn't telekinesis still hold the small fragments...? Regardless, you can't hold on if you teleport.

Bleh...I just thought of something else. Gigan's saw-whips usually have the belly saw mixed in, correct? And normally, he goes from the rear. Except, the belly saw has a half-assed range, requiring him to literally hump the other guy...and Syintax has massive back spikes that it uses as weapons. That forces Gigan to attack from the side or front with the saws, and in the five+ seconds it takes to shred through the armor, Syintax can...well, grab Gigan and make like it's gonna crush him.
I wouldn't bet on that, but then seeing how Gigan had trouble repairing some wounds from the demon souls, and how Syintax can easily do more damage than those things, plus the fact that Gigan's not a ranged fighter and will almost certainly engage in melee, and almost never starts off with the saw-whips, plus a small chance of Syintax's survival if that does occur...gives Syintax at least a, what, 60-70% chance of winning? Gigan's got tons of other alternatives to the whips he may use...
