Soundwave vs. Necrofire

Chimeron neared his seemingly-dead opponent. However, as he neared the beetle, Goliath's eyes shot open and the beetle sprang forward, skewering Chimeron on the fork-tipped horn on the head (without damaging anything vital or skewering through). Goliath finds himself with new-found strength from his anger; the beetle raises his head up and down, repeatedly slamming Chimeron into the ground with a large margin of force. Each slam caused Chimeron's body to jerk. Goliath lost control, and just kept on slamming and slamming.

After a decent amount of slams, Goliath whipped his head to the side, sending Chimeron flying off his horn and crashing into the ground one last final time. A stream of blood lazily streamed out of his maw. The slams left the bloodied Chimeron exhausted and very sore. The battle ravaged beetle hisses before sending a rather large boulder towards Chimeron...

(I'd honestly like to know how a beetle survives getting a good dozen fairly large gashes from both stinger and claws, having it's tendon's nearly destroyed, having it's throat ripped up, and being slammed into the ground from the atmosphere 3 times. >_> Seems kinda uber don't you think? Then again, I've been imapled/stabbed several times so <_< Screw it. Nevermind. xD)

If you could cheat death, Chimeron knew this beetle was. He would swing around with his tail, knocking the boulder away, and look at the beetle with nothing but hate and rage within. The last blows had definetly taken there toll, the beetle could only move through anger alone, but even that couldn't compensate from it's drops. He could tell it was weakening, but so was he. He had been stabbed several times, as well as had a few nasty gashes, but nothing compared to what the beetle. As such, he was not weakening nearly as fast, but he knew one of them had to to die now. And it sure as hell was not going to be him.


He would leap forward, claws latching onto the beetle's arms, and the other set of claws beginning to tear at the beetle's stomach and chets, ripping large gashes in them. It's jaws would clamp down on the beetle's shoulder, as it's tail stabbed into the back of the beetle, and began to siphon energy from the already weak beetle. As the jaws, claws, and stinger continued to do there work, Chimeron could feel the strength of the beetle beginning to fade, as it's efforts to free itself from it's grip began to grow weaker.

well i mean the point of an Arena match isn't to kill the other kaiju so i have no choice but to keep going on >_>


But still the beetle had to try. Using the horn on his head, he carves several deep lacerations into Chimeron's chest and stomach, each slice allowing blood to rapidly seep out. Each cut radiated with an increasing soreness. Chimeron's body was sore, bruised, and drenched with blood, coupled with various cuts and slices. Goliath sends out his acid spray coupled with two or three large rocks at his enemy in a last attempt to cause pain before the match was judged...

(It's to render them to the point where the judge says you can kill him, or vice versa. I think. xD.)



As the beetle attempted to throw several rocks at him and spray him with acid, with would do little. Since the beetle had never left Chimeron's grip, Chimeron would break away form the beetle and knock the rocks away form the beetle as it lifted them. The acid would harmlessly spallter over it's scales, doing not much except giving it a more ferocious appearance.

Chimeron would roar, chaging once again, with his claws extending, and him lifting the beetle into the air, with jaws, claws, and stinger. Even as he dragged the poor insect across the terrain, slamming his already ripped and battered flesh into the ground, and tearing at it with it's jaws and claws, the stinger would sitll sihpon more and more energy.

Eventually, considering it to be done, Chimeorn let the beast gone, by slamming it into a large rock. It then rocketted upward above the beetle and roared with ferocity, before descending upon the beetle, claws extended, ready for the final clash. This time, he wouldn't stop hitting till the beetle was dead.

Nah its not to render them to the point where the judge says kill. The judge determines a winner after tallying up the match and scoring the attacks made. Each kaiju are meant to last the match until the judge declares a winner.

Well... after going through this and thinking it over, I have to say this was a pretty hard call. Throughout the match both combatants dealt a good deal of damage, though I think Chimeron dealt more- but then again, Goliath stood up to that damage and fought hard all the way to the end. I feel like I could call it either way, and there'd be qualms about it, so... I'm calling this match a draw.
